Osteria il Capriccio Italiano (Pizzeria il Capriccio Italiano) in Hameln

Wir waren diese Woche dort essen und hatten sowohl Pizza als auch Pasta. Die Pizza war geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber für meinen Geschmack nichts Besonderes. Der Teig war insgesamt recht dick, sowohl am Rand als auch am Boden. Serviert wurde die Pizza auf einem Holzbrett. Persönlich finde ich das aus hygienischer Sicht nicht optimal, da Holz bei häufiger Nutzung schwieriger zu reinigen sein kann als ein Teller. Das Lokal selbst war insgesamt in Ordnung, allerdings waren einige Fliegen im Gastraum. Was den Besuch für mich jedoch wirklich negativ gemacht hat, war der Bezahlvorgang. Als ich mit Karte zahlen wollte, wurde ich aufgefordert, zur Kasse zu kommen. Das ist für mich grundsätzlich kein Problem. Dort wurde mir allerdings zunächst lediglich ein handgeschriebener Betrag auf einem Notizzettel gezeigt. Da wir mehrere Empfehlungen bestellt hatten und ich wissen wollte, wie sich der Gesamtbetrag zusammensetzt, bat ich um die einzelnen Preise. Darauf reagierte die Mitarbeiterin nach meinem Eindruck sichtlich genervt. Erst auf Nachfrage wurden mir die Preise genannt. Anschließend stellte sie mir das Kartenlesegerät hin, zeigte lediglich mit einer Kopfbewegung auf das Gerät und sagte sinngemäß: „Da klicken und zahlen.“ Eine weitere Erklärung gab es nicht. Auf dem Display waren mehrere große Schaltflächen zu sehen, überwiegend auf Italienisch. Ich konnte nicht erkennen, welche Option was bedeutet. Besonders auffällig waren die großen Auswahlfelder für Trinkgeldbeträge. Da die Mitarbeiterin direkt neben mir stand und mir keinerlei Erklärung gab, hatte ich persönlich den Eindruck, dass erwartet wurde, eines dieser Trinkgelder auszuwählen. Die Situation war für mich sehr unangenehm. Ich habe schließlich ganz unten eine Option gewählt, die sich glücklicherweise als „kein Trinkgeld“ herausstellte, denn ich kann kein italienisch. Ich möchte ausdrücklich betonen, dass dies mein persönlicher Eindruck war. Für mich sollte Trinkgeld immer eine freiwillige Anerkennung für guten Service sein und nicht etwas, bei dem man sich unter Druck gesetzt fühlt oder erst nach einer versteckten „Kein Trinkgeld“-Option suchen muss. Zum Abschluss gab es leider weder ein „Danke“ noch eine Verabschiedung. Das Essen war insgesamt in Ordnung. Aufgrund des Services und insbesondere des Bezahlvorgangs werde ich das Restaurant jedoch nicht noch einmal besuchen.

Alles bestens, Klasse Frühstück und ein Radkeller. Gute Lage um noch in die Stadt zu kommen.

Umringt von Stammkunden hatten wir in jeglicher Hinsicht einen perfekten Restaurantbesuch. Leider nur auf der Durchreise, sonst wären wir auch Stammkunden.

Also unsere Salate für 17,50 € waren kein Augenschmaus und Gaumenschmaus fühlt sich für mich anders an. Da die Kollegen am Tisch Pizza hatten, weiß ich jetzt, dass es auch ovale Pizza in Hameln gibt.

Auch bei uns war der Gesamteindruck eher mittelmäßig. Wir hatten 3mal Pizza, einmal Steinpilz-Ravioli, einmal gegrillter Seewolf. Wir waren 19.00 Uhr da, gegen 20:00 Uhr hatten wir dann unser Essen. Die Pizza ist in Ordnung, aber auch nicht herausragend. Reichlich belegt halt. Die Steinpilz-Ravioli waren enttäuschend. Kaum Füllung mit einer Soße, die die Konsistenz von Vanillepudding hatte. Der ganze Fisch, der mir mit ein paar Würfeln von Zucchini und Kartoffeln serviert wurde, war kein Seewolf. Kann das leider nicht genauer eingrenzen, aber wie ein Seewolf aussieht weiß ich. Der Fisch war im Konvektomaten vorgegart und dann nochmal kurz gegrillt. Da muss man nicht mehr viel zu sagen. Da wir mit Gästen dort waren, und ich Hunger hatte, habe ich aber auf eine Beschwerde verzichtet. Das beste an dem Abend war noch der Azuro. Wiederkommen werden wir keinesfalls.

Das beste italienische Essen der Stadt! Alles ist frisch und lecker, und der Service ist hervorragend! Absolut empfehlenswert.

Hat in der ausgestellten Karte vor der Pizzeria eine runde "Cappriciosa" für ~14,50€ angepriesen. Beim Bestellen im Vorgarten des Restaurants kostete diese Pizza auf einmal 18,50€, war kleiner und viereckig. Für mich einfach nur abzocke.

Wir haben über den Lieferservie bestellt. Eine Pizza sowie einen Salat. Die Pizza sieht gut aus, aber der Salat ist eine Frechheit. Der Salat besteht aus fünf Salatblättern, drei Oliven, drei dicke Scheiben Tomate sowie einen Büffelmozzarella. Kann ich leider nicht empfehlen dort einen Salat für ca. 14€ zu bestellen!

Wir haben Essen bestellt. Wir sind zur abgesprochenen Abholzeit gekommen und uns wurde blöd gesagt, dass das so schnell halt nicht geht. Bei der Bezahlung wurde der Herr sehr unfreundlich und meinte, es gibt ja auch eine Website, zum bestellen. Zuhause angekommen: Pizza Parma statt Magarita. Wir haben nochmal angerufen und man sagte uns, dass man den Parma Schinken doch einfach runter nehmen könne, dann wäre es Magarita. Leider sind wir alle Vegetarier. So, nun warten wir seit einer Stunde und 15 min darauf, dass die richtige Pizza geliefert wird. Insgesamt also ein sehr enttäuschendes Ergebnis, wir werden hier nicht wieder bestellen. Wir verstehen, wenn viel los ist, man kann aber trotzdem freundlich bleiben. Achso: wir haben noch Pizzabrötchen mit Mozarella bestellt. In den Pizzabrötchen war absolut kein Käse. Der einzige zu findene Käse, war außen und verbrannt.

Wir waren Pizza essen, hatten reserviert und bekamen einen sehr ungemütlichen Platz direkt am Eingang zugewiesen. Das Lokal war vollgestellt bis in den letzten Winkel. Die wartenden Gäste standen uns im Nacken was wirklich unangenehm war. Die Pizza war lecker, das Brett auf dem sie serviert wurde entpuppte sich nach Verzehr jedoch leider als unappetitlich und ziemlich abgenutzt. Außerdem wirkte es auch nicht gerade sauber!!! Hier sollte unbedingt etwas Neues angeschafft werden oder die Pizza auf einem Teller serviert werden...

Ich muss leider sagen, dass es insgesamt nur okay war. Es macht alles erst einen sehr schönen Eindruck und das Ambiente ist gut. Vorspeise: Bruschetta war toll. Auch wenn das Brot etwas schwarz war. Das hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt! Das Vitello Tonnato war leider ein Reinfall. 14€ für einen Teller mit Schinken und 1kg Mayo (mit einem Hauch von Thunfisch). Das war sehr enttäuschend :( Der Hauptgang hat leider auch nicht überzeugt. Die Carbonara war nicht cremig. Das Eigelb war schon gestockt. Die Pasta war ohne Geschmack. Dies war bei der Pizza ähnlich. Die Tomatensoße war überhaupt nicht gewürzt. Der Belag aus Rucola, Seranoschinken und Parmesan war gut. Der Service war sehr nett, auch wenn der ältere Herr stark nach Zigarettenrauch gerochen hat. Alle waren trotzdem sehr höflich. Auch wenn nicht nochmal nach Getränken o.ä. gefragt wurde. Es gab allerdings einen „Absacker“ am Ende, was sehr nett war. Zusammenfassend glaube ich, dass das das erste und letzte Mal in diesem Restaurant war. Preis-Leistung ist an der Stelle nicht gut gewesen. Schade :(

Leider Hab ich mir die Pizza etwas anders vorgestellt. Leider war diese stellenweise nicht durch. Belegt war sie sehr bescheiden. Ich finde den Preis von 18,50€ absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Das gesamte Team war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente war sehr schön.

Von mir gibt es ganz klar 5 von 5 Sternen! Der Service ist super freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen – und das Essen war einfach hervorragend. Beim Ambiente habe ich in der Detailbewertung zwar einen Stern weniger gegeben, aber insgesamt überzeugen Qualität, Personal und Geschmack absolut.

We wanted to celebrate our civil wedding there, and the date was confirmed again by email three weeks beforehand. When we arrived, no tables were set; tables had to be pushed together, there was no decoration, and everything was moving very slowly. The delivery wasn't complete, so most of the dishes weren't available. We had requested three large antipasti platters in advance, and they finally arrived after 30 minutes. We had to ask several times about drinks, and only water bottles were placed on the table. After an hour and a half, we were asked if they should serve the main courses now or if they could serve the guests after us. We said now, but they served the guests after us anyway. It took us over two hours to finally get our main courses. To make matters worse, there was a heated argument in the kitchen with loud shouting, which was very embarrassing for us as the bride and groom. ... In short, never again. The restaurant was unprepared, we didn't feel welcome, the service was inattentive and uninterested in selling anything, the restaurant was poorly organized, and to top it all off, there was an argument among the staff. Luckily, we had a truly wonderful wedding the next day at a different restaurant, where everything was perfect.

The service was poor. Despite few customers, the wait was over an hour, far too long. The food also didn't meet expectations. The price-performance ratio was also unacceptable. All in all, this was our first and last visit.

You almost feel like you're in Italy!

The wait for the food was above average. Unfortunately, the carbonara didn't live up to the standard I'm used to. The cheek bacon, in particular, didn't meet my quality standards; I can do better at home!

Saturday evening is best with a table reservation. A sophisticated atmosphere and fast food, even when the restaurant is packed. The pasta is cooked to perfection and the flavors are very well balanced. Highly recommended.

Super delicious food, too little space at the table and between the tables

We waited almost an hour for our food, and the pizza I had tasted of nothing. It was supposed to be spicy, but it wasn't. And the mozzarella on the pizza didn't taste good. Gouda cheese is supposed to be on a pizza.

The food was very good...but I waited 2 hours for the main course! Absolutely unacceptable! I asked about the food! They denied it because of the high number of guests...should I be considerate? 2 hours...NO!!! Out of the question! That's completely unacceptable. I'm not coming here anymore!

Very tasty pizzas! Sometimes a little too dark, almost burnt. But that's just craftsmanship; sometimes it's perfect, sometimes it's not. But they're super tasty, and the hosts are very friendly. The delivery service is also excellent.

The only real Italian restaurant in Hameln 🥰 We were welcomed with a taste of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar with a delicious aroma and flavor; I ordered the pizza margherita and I could tell it was cooked by an Italian just by the smell. Exceptional tiramisu and, fundamentally given the difficulty in finding a decent coffee in Germany (for an Italian), delicious espresso 😍 Very kind and friendly staff, they offered us the house marsala.

Yes it is a place with good food and friendly staff was good

The point deduction is for the Antipasti Misto. It was really subterranean and consisted of 90% "fried" peppers, tasteless if you ignore the vinegar and far too firm to the bite. The main course was impeccable as was the service and the ambience.

Pizzas were ok. But there are better ones. According to the menu, the cocktails were supposed to have limes, but cheap lemons were used. But at that price I can expect limes. It's great to sit there. The ambience is also very nice.

Good restaurant in a quiet location. The pizza and tomato soup were good, but the seafood pasta dish was unfortunately not quite warm. Particularly noteworthy is the beautifully presented and delicious starter. With a moderate number of guests, the warmth of the service staff could have been even greater. (March 2025)

We can definitely recommend the Osteria at Münsterkirchhof! The spaghetti carbonara was the best I've eaten in a long time and my companion's steaks were also very tasty and cooked to perfection.

I've been there a lot of times due to frequent business trips some time ago. Food always delicious, fresh. Unfortunately my favourite guy is not there anymore and then it was harder to speak in English. Anyway, you've made me huge fan of Grappa, hope to visit you some day again.

Everything is great. There's really nothing to complain about. Absolutely recommended!

The Italian you trust, Francesco, is very nice and hospitable. The prices are great. The atmosphere is very nice and tidy. And the seats are a 10/10. Simply more than suitable for a restaurant.

We were at this restaurant today for a company party. The restaurant was new and modernly renovated, the service was attentive and worked in the “old school” way that you rarely get today. The food was delicious and of top quality. The coffee was unbeatably good. My colleagues and I really enjoyed it. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

We had our Christmas party there. We didn't like the pizzas. Too little topping, the edge too dry. The noodles had little taste. The portions are generally too small for the money. The cocktails were too expensive and hardly filled with alcohol. A lot of money for a small portion. Whether food or cocktails. Our dessert hadn't arrived after more than an hour, so we canceled it. We weren't particularly enthusiastic.

Yesterday evening I was at the Osteria in Hameln for the umpteenth time. I am always surprised by the delicious food and the friendly service. Yesterday I ate mixed starters, tortellini and of course tiramisu. Everything tasted excellent. The very finely grated delicious ham on the tortellini deserves special mention. Very friendly service, attentive host :)

We were there for a dinner with my wife. Orders arrived quite late. My wife got pizza and it tasted really bad. My plate contained chicken meat and some vegetables. It tasted good to me. The employees are helpful and polite.

Had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our food. Many of the dishes were cold and didn't suit our taste. There's way too much balsamic vinegar in everything. No wonder that, as a Hamelin native, I didn't know the restaurant.
