We wanted to celebrate our civil wedding there, and the date was confirmed again by email three weeks beforehand. When we arrived, no tables were set; tables had to be pushed together, there was no decoration, and everything was moving very slowly. The delivery wasn't complete, so most of the dishes weren't available. We had requested three large antipasti platters in advance, and they finally arrived after 30 minutes. We had to ask several times about drinks, and only water bottles were placed on the table. After an hour and a half, we were asked if they should serve the main courses now or if they could serve the guests after us. We said now, but they served the guests after us anyway. It took us over two hours to finally get our main courses. To make matters worse, there was a heated argument in the kitchen with loud shouting, which was very embarrassing for us as the bride and groom. ... In short, never again. The restaurant was unprepared, we didn't feel welcome, the service was inattentive and uninterested in selling anything, the restaurant was poorly organized, and to top it all off, there was an argument among the staff. Luckily, we had a truly wonderful wedding the next day at a different restaurant, where everything was perfect.

The wait for the food was above average. Unfortunately, the carbonara didn't live up to the standard I'm used to. The cheek bacon, in particular, didn't meet my quality standards; I can do better at home!

Saturday evening is best with a table reservation. A sophisticated atmosphere and fast food, even when the restaurant is packed. The pasta is cooked to perfection and the flavors are very well balanced. Highly recommended.

Super delicious food, too little space at the table and between the tables

We waited almost an hour for our food, and the pizza I had tasted of nothing. It was supposed to be spicy, but it wasn't. And the mozzarella on the pizza didn't taste good. Gouda cheese is supposed to be on a pizza.

The food was very good...but I waited 2 hours for the main course! Absolutely unacceptable! I asked about the food! They denied it because of the high number of guests...should I be considerate? 2 hours...NO!!! Out of the question! That's completely unacceptable. I'm not coming here anymore!

Very tasty pizzas! Sometimes a little too dark, almost burnt. But that's just craftsmanship; sometimes it's perfect, sometimes it's not. But they're super tasty, and the hosts are very friendly. The delivery service is also excellent.

The only real Italian restaurant in Hameln 🥰 We were welcomed with a taste of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar with a delicious aroma and flavor; I ordered the pizza margherita and I could tell it was cooked by an Italian just by the smell. Exceptional tiramisu and, fundamentally given the difficulty in finding a decent coffee in Germany (for an Italian), delicious espresso 😍 Very kind and friendly staff, they offered us the house marsala.

The point deduction is for the Antipasti Misto. It was really subterranean and consisted of 90% "fried" peppers, tasteless if you ignore the vinegar and far too firm to the bite. The main course was impeccable as was the service and the ambience.

Pizzas were ok. But there are better ones. According to the menu, the cocktails were supposed to have limes, but cheap lemons were used. But at that price I can expect limes. It's great to sit there. The ambience is also very nice.

Good restaurant in a quiet location. The pizza and tomato soup were good, but the seafood pasta dish was unfortunately not quite warm. Particularly noteworthy is the beautifully presented and delicious starter. With a moderate number of guests, the warmth of the service staff could have been even greater. (March 2025)

We can definitely recommend the Osteria at Münsterkirchhof! The spaghetti carbonara was the best I've eaten in a long time and my companion's steaks were also very tasty and cooked to perfection.

I've been there a lot of times due to frequent business trips some time ago. Food always delicious, fresh. Unfortunately my favourite guy is not there anymore and then it was harder to speak in English. Anyway, you've made me huge fan of Grappa, hope to visit you some day again.

The Italian you trust, Francesco, is very nice and hospitable. The prices are great. The atmosphere is very nice and tidy. And the seats are a 10/10. Simply more than suitable for a restaurant.

We were at this restaurant today for a company party. The restaurant was new and modernly renovated, the service was attentive and worked in the “old school” way that you rarely get today. The food was delicious and of top quality. The coffee was unbeatably good. My colleagues and I really enjoyed it. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

We had our Christmas party there. We didn't like the pizzas. Too little topping, the edge too dry. The noodles had little taste. The portions are generally too small for the money. The cocktails were too expensive and hardly filled with alcohol. A lot of money for a small portion. Whether food or cocktails. Our dessert hadn't arrived after more than an hour, so we canceled it. We weren't particularly enthusiastic.

Yesterday evening I was at the Osteria in Hameln for the umpteenth time. I am always surprised by the delicious food and the friendly service. Yesterday I ate mixed starters, tortellini and of course tiramisu. Everything tasted excellent. The very finely grated delicious ham on the tortellini deserves special mention. We were there for a dinner with my wife. Orders arrived quite late. My wife got pizza and it tasted really bad. My plate contained chicken meat and some vegetables. It tasted good to me. The employees are helpful and polite.

Had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our food. Many of the dishes were cold and didn't suit our taste. There's way too much balsamic vinegar in everything. No wonder that, as a Hamelin native, I didn't know the restaurant.

We were in the restaurant with 6 people at 6:30 p.m. It took 30 minutes to order; the food came 90 minutes later. Tagliatelle with prawns and chanterelles was actually unabridged. Salt and pepper weren't enough to make it tasty. Unfortunately!!! For 21€ a disgrace.

We had to wait a very long time for our food (pizza), guests who arrived later got their food (also pizza, including a table with six people) before us. There was no explanation or apology for the long wait, it wasn't full. Bruschetta was good, the pizza OK.

The pizzas are very good and very well priced. The spaghetti bolognese is the best I've ever had, lots of meat, homemade tomato and delicious.

Pizza was lukewarm and carelessly made A very expensive tuna salad with chunky chunks and hardly any dressing. This can be done better.

The food was a disaster. The worst Italian.

Sunday lunchtime, sat outside. 3/4 of the tables occupied, nice place found. The service came very quickly, the menu arrived within 3 minutes. Ordering the drinks. After another 10 minutes the food was ordered. Suckling pig and pasta with truffles. After 40 minutes the entrée arrived. Two small rolls and a small plate with olive oil and garnish. The rolls could have been a little fresher, but they were definitely tasty. Then another 10 minutes later, a good 50 minutes after ordering, we started. A large plate with the pasta almost lost in it. My wife couldn't confirm whether it was something with truffles. The suckling pig... mercilessly fart-dry. Definitely not how you would expect something like this. Greasy, like after an hour under the heat lamp. Broccoli black at the bottom. The mörchen were ok, with a quartered potato. For 23.50 I would definitely have expected something different and a little more. Overall, I'm not that impressed. It's a shame, it will remain a unique experience.

A restaurant with outside tables in the middle of the old town. The service person was very friendly and helpful. The waiting time was surprisingly long, even though there wasn't too much going on. As a greeting from the kitchen came olive oil, balsamic vinegar and bread. Although simple, it tasted very good. For starters I had half carpaccio and half Vitello Tonnato. The latter tasted primarily of mayonnaise. The main course was lamb chops and very mixed. For night I had a tartuffo. Overall, I didn't like the quality/price/performance ratio.

This is another real Italian with fantastic food and great service. We were recommended the freshly arrived chanterelles with pasta and either fillet strips or shrimp. Very child friendly. As soon as we are back in Hameln, we will come back!

This has nothing to do with “L`Osteria”. It is an ordinary village pizzeria. I would have liked to try the "special" version of the pizza because it is supposed to have a special dough. Unfortunately it was already sold out. That's why I can only rate what I ate. And that was average to moderate. Otherwise you just sit on the edge of the pedestrian zone with a view of parked cars and passers-by. You can like that or not, but the location is nothing special. But perhaps my demands on food are too high when I take into account how many people consider "SchniPoSa", for example, to be the spearhead of German food culture. Orgs.

A nice, small restaurant, we had one of the cozy outdoor seats. The Primo Piatto portion for pasta immediately provided a truly Italian feeling. The Spaghetti and bruscette were a delicious starter, and the Fegato alla Venetia (daily menu) and the pizza were also good. Given the fair price, this easily makes it five stars, thank you very much!

We waited over 75 minutes for our food with three small children in the evening, even though there wasn't much going on and guests who arrived far later than us got their food earlier. There was no real concession. Would definitely not go back.

I ordered bisteca ai ferri and my girlfriend a pizza 4 stagioni. The meat was very tasty and the meal was ready very quickly (20 minutes). The service was very nice and the chef came to us to ask if everything was okay☺️
