Excellent Italian menu and really good prices. Big portions too. The set menu at lunch was a great deal and we came back two days later for dinner. Great place and a nice break from our nHow hotel limited options nearby

Terrible service – late food and rude staff! I had a terrible experience at Le Cesta Restaurant. I was there with my team of eight people for a business lunch. Service was incredibly slow - we waited over half an hour for our food, and when we asked, the staff treated us dismissively, as if we were a burden. No updates, no apologies, just a bad attitude. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and not worth the long wait. Things got even worse when we wanted to pay the bill. The cashier was extremely rude and unprofessional. They had accidentally added an additional dish to our bill and demanded that we pay for it. When we asked for clarification about the additional costs, they became annoyed and spoke to us in a condescending tone. Instead of solving the problem politely, they were aggressive and arrogant. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. If you value good service, avoid this place!

I had the worst lunch experience at this restaurant. I came with my colleagues—there were 8 of us. The place was nearly empty, and we placed our orders. Within 20 minutes, everyone received their food except for one of my colleagues. After some time, when almost everyone had finished eating, I asked the waiters about my colleague’s meal. Turns out, they had completely forgotten to write down the order. After reminding them, we waited even longer, and not a single waiter came by to check if we needed anything. I had to ask again, and only after the second reminder did they finally bring the food. As if that wasn’t bad enough, when we were paying, each person covering their own meal, one of the waiters claimed there was still an unpaid dish. But no one at our table had eaten it! After several minutes of discussions, during which we refused to pay for something we never received, another waiter admitted they had mistakenly added the extra dish to our bill and said we didn’t have to pay for it. To top it all off, one of the waiters rudely told me that I had been “harassing” him from the beginning—when all I did was ask for the service we were paying for. Absolutely unacceptable behavior! I will never go back and definitely do not recommend this place to anyone!

Was there on my birthday on February 10th. Great service, very nice atmosphere, very accommodating and polite staff. I myself had a pizza straight from the stone oven, it was a poem. Best regards to Kazim, the waiter who served us that evening.

Totally haphazard staff: 3 men running around groaning but extremely inefficiently. It then takes a while until you get the memory card. When the food is there, the waiter asks "is it OK?" "Good" is not even asked...

Authentic Italian staff, especially the old man :). Everyone very friendly. Pizza is a super size, airy, not too thickly topped, tasty crust, all around good pizza. The pasta is also highly recommended, prices are normal to cheap, the atmosphere is very nice and there is a lot to discover. Come here regularly and try something new.

Ordered according to the menu from the website. It costs €5 more when picked up. There was a piece of salami on the diavolo. Tomato sauce wasn't great. For a 15€ pizza it's bad.

Went there hungry and came out full. Great service. If there is uncertainty, everything will be explained. Not intrusive. Food highly recommended. Toilet was clean. Get a table even without a reservation. Parking lot in front of the restaurant.

The starters are completely good in terms of taste and price. The pizza is delicious, perfectly baked and tastes fresh. The dessert was also authentic. All in all really recommended!!

La Cesta is a solid Italian restaurant. The service is a touch overly accommodating, but still pleasant. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. The food was rather average. The salmon was very dry and the pizzas only had standard toppings without any special creations. Many restaurants can keep up better. Overall, however, the visit was good.

We (10 people) were in this restaurant for the first time and were blown away by the ambience, the hospitality and the very tasty and particularly lovingly prepared food. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and one of the best pizzas ever! We visited La Cesta on a Sunday lunchtime - with my two children, and it was a successful visit all around. It started with the fact that we got a parking space practically in front of the door. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with pleasant music in the background and a very pleasant feel-good atmosphere. Despite a good visit, the service was absolutely friendly, attentive and accommodating. My son had spaghetti carbonara, which he really enjoyed, my daughter chose the schnitzel with fries. The portion was generous – two schnitzels and a large amount of fries. However, the homemade, wide fries were more soft than crispy. It's a matter of taste: if you like it that way, you'll be thrilled. We prefer the crispy version, but that doesn't devalue it at all. Particularly positive: What the children couldn't manage was packed carefully and safely for transport without any problems. At home in the air fryer the fries turned out perfectly crispy! ;) However, what really drew me to this review is the outstanding brick oven pizza. I have rarely had a pizza of this quality, not even in Italy! The dough was exceptional: crispy, exactly right and with a great taste of its own. I had the Napoli version with capers and anchovies, but I'm sure every pizza on the menu is convincing. My two children also loved the dough. Without question, this pizza is one of the top five I've ever eaten. At the end there was an espresso, which was also excellent - strong, round in taste and absolutely convincing. All in all: A wonderful restaurant with great food at fair prices. We left La Cesta full and happy – and will definitely be back!

An absolutely authentic Italian restaurant with tasteful decor and excellent food. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service: the waiters were always attentive and regularly inquired about our well-being without disturbing us. The professionalism of the team rounded off our visit perfectly. We will definitely come back on our next stay in Berlin.

Pasta carbonara with cream, no eggs and no guancale? I understood you want to make it "german" but just open a fusion restaurant in that case. Also, we ordered a rump steak with green pepper sauce and the meat came almost well done and dry. Pizzas were good though, definitely not a 4.7 as the ratings show. Service also wasn't that great, maybe they were understaffed.. Overall i've had better italian food in Berlin.

We ate pizza and it was nice, the atmosphere was nice and it wasn't too crowded, maybe because we went on a weekday evening, but I don't think there is a need to go to Rez on weekdays. The employees were also interested.
