Restaurant Kreta in Langenhagen

A truly lovely Greek restaurant with fantastic staff. We had some wonderful evenings there. If I'm ever back in Hanover, we'll definitely come again.

I am always impressed by the hospitality and have known this restaurant for many years.

I was on my way back from Göttingen to East Frisia. On the way, I got hungry for some Greek food and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The food was super delicious, the tzatziki was excellent. The service was friendly. I only had one minor criticism of the appetizer: I would have preferred the bread that came with the tzatziki to be toasted. I will definitely be back.

The welcome was fantastic; I've never been greeted like that in a restaurant before. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive. The food was first-class, the gyro was crispy. There is nothing to complain about when it comes to food and service. We had gyros and bifteki. Both really tasty and a good portion. Both waiters who served us were super friendly. The restaurant is on a side street, so you can sit outside and it's still quiet.

It hurts my heart to write a negative comment. But there is no other way. Something's wrong when I order gyros to take away. Unfortunately, once again it is hardly edible. As if the chef were saving only the gristly parts that were left over after cutting away. So always the very dry, cartilaginous outer pieces. The tender parts are then served to the guests in the restaurant. This really can't be a coincidence anymore. You would never get something like that in a restaurant. I hope the owner reads this and we can talk about it calmly. Things can't go on like this anymore!

We went here for dinner for the second time today. What can I say, a great atmosphere, a very nice team and the food was great. I had beef fillet, gyros, fries and suzuki and my wife had lamb fillet in white wine sauce with mushrooms and peppers. Simply recommended and we would be happy to come back. Efcharisto ♥️🇬🇷👍🍷😄

Wir waren am 19.5.24 um 17,30 Uhr mit 8 Personen nach einem Fahrrad-Pfingstausflug dort eingekehrt. Wir bestellten alle aus der Speisekarte. Allen hat es gut geschmeckt. Spezielle Sonderwünsche wurden gerne erfüllt. Auch nach einer besonders stark mit Knoblauch gewürzten Zazikicreme. Zum Glück war der Folgetag arbeitsfrei. Die beiden männlichen Bedienungen waren vorbildlich aufmerksam, besonders freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und hatten Humor. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

The staff was super friendly and the food was perfect. The gratinated gyros is a recommendation, I thought the Metaxa sauce was great. The restaurant is very inconspicuous from the outside, at least in the dark. The furnishing style is very inviting and cozy. The prices are within the normal range and completely okay.

The only thing that was good was the really nice service. It was really cold in the room. Energy costs or not. Freezing is not pleasant. The tzatziki was not good. It was missing something like dill and creaminess. Tastes like it came from the supermarket. Really little for €5. The rice is red but tastes watery and not like tomatoes. The rice grains are too swollen, cooked too long or reheated too often. But what doesn't work is gray gyros, as if cooked with lots of gristle. The ambience is different but not nice or comfortable. Since everything is currently becoming more expensive and the prices here are also very high, the quality should be good. Then there was the horrible smell of urine in the men's toilet!!! This really doesn't have to be the case. There are enough ways to ensure that something like this doesn't happen. It also suggests a lack of hygiene. One more experience. Never again for us

Essen reichhaltig gut..... und super netter natürlicher service

Tischreservierung online hat gut geklappt. Bedienung sehr nett und lustig. Essen kam schnell, war aber leider völlig geschmacksneutral. Preis- Leistungsverhälnis ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Größe der Portion passt nicht zum hohen Preis. Herrentoilettenbereich eng, von 2 Toiletten funktionierte das Schloss nicht und an der Wand ist meiner Meinung nach Schwarzschimmel. Fazit: Es war ok, aber für ein zweites Mal reicht es bei uns nicht .

Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut und die Preise waren sehr angemessen und für die "heutige Zeit" sogar eher günstig. Der Absacker am Ende, was sich Ouzo nennen sollte, war leider eine sehr wasserhaltige Mischung zum Nachspülen.

Ein wunderbarer Grieche! Wir sind bei jeder Zusammenkunft von unseren Kollegen vor Ort und wurden bisher immer außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Sehr lockere Atmosphäre und sehr humorvolles Personal. Das Essen ist absolute Spitzenklasse! Ich esse gerne Leber dort. Bei anderen Griechen bekommt man hier häufig ein trockenes und zähes Stück Leber. Hier war alles perfekt. Saftig und lecker - genau so muss das! "Der Grüne" rundet bei uns den Abend immer wunderbar ab. Vielen Dank ihr Lieben und bleibt so wie ihr seid!

Sehr leckere griechische Gerichte

Sehr nettes freundliches Personal, Tarama schmeckt sehr sehr gut, kann nicht jeder so lecker machen. Aber Kalamari und Pommes für mich 1 * viel Panade, kaum Inhalt. Pommes matschig...Aber wirklich sehr sehr freundliches Personal. Nächstes mal einfach was anderes essen.

Wir waren jetzt das 4. Mal hier, es ist jedes Mal wieder wunderbar. Der Service freundlich und immer verbindlich. Sonderwünsche sind hier willkommen. Getränke perfekt gekühlt und gut eingeschenkt. Aber die Speisen: nur gut. Lamm nicht trocken, Gyros nicht zu toppen. Egal, was wir bis jetzt bestellt haben, gut gewürzt und perfekt gegrillt. Und der Ouzo,lecker. Gibt es angeblich nur hier, diese Marke. Und alles zu einem unschlagbaren Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. In Langenhagen bis heute die Nr. 1.

Das Kreta liegt etwas versteckt in Godshorn in einer Nebenstraße. Wenig Parkraum in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Lokal ist einer Grotte nachempfunden. Der Service ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen solide, die Portionen ordentlich. Unserem Geschmack nach könnte das Essen etwas mehr gewürzt sein. Die Preise sind erfreulich.
