Everything was perfect, especially the food. The music was just a bit unpleasant, with too many rap beats.

The food is always a surprise. The best thing to do is let yourself be surprised and order the set menu! Otherwise, would you order olive ice cream for dessert? Every course is an explosion of flavor. And they also cook vegan meals upon request.

It was absolutely wonderful, and as someone living near the Taunus region, I even managed to surprise a friend from Hamburg with this lovely restaurant. The food and wine were excellent, fresh, creative, and regional; the portions were just the right size; the atmosphere was incredibly cool, relaxed, and cozy; and it's right next to a great cinema! I'll definitely be back!

Overall, Klinker is a fantastic place! The team is incredibly welcoming and the food is amazing. The atmosphere is so homey, and no matter who you are, you never feel uncomfortable.

I cannot claim to be a regular at Restaurant Kilinker, but I have been there oft enough to know that the constancy of the creative kitchen, knowledgeable staff, and ultimately delicious dishes brings me and whomever I have brought with me utter JOY. Fantastic, exceptional food in a great atmosphere!

We come regularly and enjoy our meal, but this time we weren't as happy as usual. It started with a very strong sea buckthorn drink that would have affected the taste of the food. (It was promptly replaced by the server and not charged.) There were also a few issues with the food itself: the onion was undercooked and difficult to cut, the many whole peppercorns in the kohlrabi dish were bothersome, and while the agnolotti were swimming in an aromatic mushroom broth, they were so small that you couldn't taste the filling. The usually delicious bread arrived piping hot, but with a very hard crust. The chili butter was tasty, as was the Brussels sprouts.

Excellent cuisine – seasonal, regional, and absolutely delicious! However, face-to-face communication can lead to a hoarse voice!

Yesterday, there were four of us at the restaurant. The service was friendly, but firm. I found the food completely overpriced. Offering a 10 cm diameter deep-fried pizza for €22 is quite audacious. I'd only offer the cabbage to a rabbit, not to civilized, hungry people. The €5 water charge per person just makes the whole thing even worse in this overcrowded establishment. My opinion: not recommended.

The food, service, and ambiance were good to very good. Unfortunately, our table was reassigned after two hours. We barely managed to finish our dessert and had to quickly finish our drinks. We would have liked to stay longer and enjoy a more relaxed evening. It's a shame that the experience now has a somewhat rushed feel.

We had a fantastic experience at Klinker yesterday. Every single dish was incredibly delicious. Truly masterful, and this restaurant is now one of our top choices in Hamburg. The wine list is also exceptionally well-curated. A rarity, even in Hamburg. Five stars for the wine selection as well—unfortunately, that's the maximum rating. I would appreciate a slightly more relaxed approach to wine pricing, but the markup is typical for German restaurants. Sadly. The service was friendly and attentive, but also somewhat aloof at times, which we found a little disappointing. But that's a matter of personal preference. There was a fairly long wait between our first and second courses, but it was still acceptable. For us, Klinker is an absolute must-try and has now joined our top ten restaurants in Hamburg. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful dining experience.

We came from the snobbish Gallo Nero and, after 90 minutes, had only just managed to sip an appetizer and some bread for an exorbitant price, and were rewarded with a last-minute reservation. An incredibly knowledgeable sommelier, a cheerful and friendly service, and the most innovative cuisine around. We spontaneously showed up at 9 pm without a reservation and got a good table. The restaurant has a modern, urban feel. The service was professionally friendly. The two of us ordered five dishes. The food was really good. We found the portions very small and overpriced. The wine prices were exorbitant. We then went to Bunker-Döner on Feldstrasse.

I'd been curious about Klinker in Hamburg for a while, and my visit was absolutely worth it! The homemade potato and walnut bread with basil butter was divine – crispy on the outside, still warm on the inside, and the butter simply delicious. For a starter, I had the burrata with pumpkin, lemon, and spruce – an unusual combination that tasted surprisingly harmonious and incredibly fresh. The main course, potato cream with chanterelles, chives, chili, and kimchi, was amazing – creamy, flavorful, and with just the right amount of spice. To finish, there was strawberry ice cream with whipped cream – simple, but perfect. Fruity, creamy, and not too sweet, just as it should be. The drinks were also a delight: The Italian Spritz was wonderfully refreshing, and the double espresso afterward was the perfect ending. I especially want to commend the service – super friendly, attentive, and pleasantly relaxed. You can tell that they work with real heart and passion. In short: Great food, a fantastic concept, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I can absolutely recommend the brickwork and I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 👏🍽️

A surprising visit: many restaurants have positive reviews, but Klinker truly stands out. The staff is very friendly and confident. The sharing concept is very appealing. The food is consistently impressive—especially for the price: diverse combinations with bold seasoning that beautifully combines and enhances the flavors. A pleasant concept with mostly vegetarian dishes, but also a strong focus on meat/fish. Simply superb!

The staff was attentive and friendly. The food, however, was far too expensive and the taste wasn't amazing. We paid €24 for three ravioli. For starters, we had half a stuffed onion soaked in a greenish, greasy sauce. The tables are unfortunately far too small; we had to put half of them on the floor to make some space. The price/performance ratio here was absolutely not right. We bought something to eat afterward.

We ate the set menu here today and were thoroughly impressed. The great thing was that many rather simple ingredients were transformed into great dishes simply through creativity and culinary skill.

The food was delicious, the service friendly. But somehow everything seemed too forced. Two hours later, the bill arrived unprompted, along with a request to vacate the table. Sure, you book a slot, but the concept (sustainable, local, etc.) and the prices didn't match. Especially since the table remained empty afterward.

You can immediately tell that the food is cooked with love. For me, this was one of the best restaurant experiences in a long time. I'll definitely be back.

The Klinker has a chic ambiance, and the view up into the kitchen was an exciting change. However, the seating is also very close and not particularly comfortable for extended sitting. The service was (Northern German) friendly and attentive, but not particularly outstanding. For a cold starter, I had burrata. Very well executed with fruity and spicy flavors. After that, I had fried onions with fried onions and leek oil. Very heavy, but if you like that, like me, this is also a strong dish. The mashed potatoes with potato pasta and chanterelle mushrooms were also good, but couldn't live up to the previous ones. It was a bit too bland for that. The dessert was a real highlight. Sorrel is always a good idea, and here it was very fresh, fruity, and intensely presented. Combined with the fair price/performance ratio, this makes it a full recommendation for me!

A disappointing experience. Unmotivated staff, who, moreover, communicated in a patronizing and inappropriate tone. The various dishes were far from "flavor explosions." Our dishes lacked any flavor, and the portions were ridiculously small. Three ravioli for €22 were far from "al dente." Knowing the ingredients and the amount of work involved, this isn't good value for money. I also find the water charge unreasonable. I want to decide how much I want myself and not be charged for it without asking. The tables are far too close together. It felt like my neighbor was sitting right behind me. On top of that, after our visit, all the textiles smelled unpleasantly of the kitchen. We left hungry and disappointed. And we won't be coming back again.

I've been telling a friend for months that we absolutely had to go to Klinker. I was sadly disappointed. The reception was unfriendly and cold (I'm referring to one of the waitresses, not all of them). The chairs outside were uncomfortable (cushions would have been nice in a place like this). The service was generally slow; the table didn't clear for ages, I had to get new cutlery myself, and new drinks were only available upon request (even if my glass was empty, I wasn't asked if I wanted anything else). The food was far too specialized and intense in flavor. The portions were too small, and overall, it was too expensive. I've eaten much better and for less, or at least better for the same price range. Unfortunately, you can't get a good, tasty red wine by the glass; the German red wine on offer is really not good, or rather, special, just like the food. We were asked to vacate the table within 15 minutes exactly 1:45 in, which annoyed us even more, even though we knew it would happen. I understand the concept of wanting to rent out a table twice in an evening, but it's simply unpleasant for the guest. Overall, we're disappointed; it wasn't a great experience.

Beautiful location for a special evening If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, this is the place for you. Every dish is special, flavorfully balanced, and an experience. According to the restaurant, the approximately 10 dishes (excluding dessert and bread) change every 4-6 weeks and are based on seasonal produce. However, you shouldn't come here if you're particularly hungry or on a tight budget. The two of us spent about €110, and I didn't feel particularly full afterward. The focus is more on the sophisticated composition, and we probably could have easily eaten three more plates (in addition to the five we had). The service was attentive, always very prompt at our tables, and they gave us good recommendations and explanations of the dishes. Definitely a good gift if you want to please a friend who enjoys unusual (mostly vegetarian) food. A small suggestion for the restaurant: a sharper knife would have been great for the stuffed onion. It was not possible to cut them particularly elegantly with a normal knife.

I often find it very loud in the evenings, and it's a shame that sometimes, after an hour or two, you're asked how long you'd like to stay. That was very rude last time. You have to pay €17 for four slices of tomato, and they're not even that special."

Unfortunately, our evening at Restaurant Klinker left a very bad taste in our mouths—and that wasn't because of the great food. Previously, you couldn't make reservations at this restaurant; you just had to show up and hope to get a table. Now they have a reservation system with 2-hour slots, allowing the restaurant to fill each table twice in one evening. We had reserved a table at 6:15 p.m. We opted for the 5-course menu and an aperitif beforehand. We had barely finished our aperitif when the first course was served. We were irritated, but didn't attach much importance to it. However, our irritation gradually turned into real annoyance, as the courses followed in such rapid succession that we felt seriously rushed through our meal. Our repeated requests for a short break between each course were denied with the explanation that there wouldn't be enough time until the table was reserved again. What kind of concept is that?!? It must be possible to eat in peace in a restaurant like this, with high-quality food and prices to match! Under these conditions, we can only advise anyone not to go there with the idea of a relaxed, enjoyable meal. Perhaps for a light snack, if you only want one or at most two courses. Then you might be able to have a quiet conversation without being interrupted mid-sentence by an inconsiderate waiter who has to explain what she's serving. Despite the good food, only one star because of the impression. Cost-effectiveness and efficiency are more important in this restaurant than a guest who feels comfortable and enjoys their meal and the evening – and who, after all, has put almost €200 on the table for it.

The food is fantastic. It's truly amazing what flavor can be achieved with "ordinary" Regina vegetables. The portions are manageable, so you should be able to grab something quickly if you're sharing a meal. Nevertheless, it's a highly recommended restaurant with plenty to offer in terms of flavor and a few surprises (the naked oats in onions was fantastic).

It was truly wonderful. As students, we can't normally afford something like that, but the redistribution offer gave us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the world. A truly wonderful experience that I can recommend to everyone.

The food was truly delicious. Unfortunately, there was absolutely nothing for the children, even though I had announced them and the restaurant had confirmed fries in advance. They didn't have them on the menu that day, and they couldn't send anything else child-friendly. We were there for my birthday with a group of 11 people. The table set up was a beer table with beer benches. I don't think that's appropriate for an upscale restaurant, and it's also anything but suitable for an announced birthday party. Our request to provide proper chairs with backrests for at least those over 75 was met with a very reserved and reluctant response. Furthermore, we were seated at the very edge of the main road. It was incredibly loud, the sidewalk, and therefore the table we were sitting at, was sloping, and overall, it was really unpleasant to sit there. The narrow beer tables didn't offer enough space for the food. All in all, I definitely won't be going there again with a large group, and definitely not when the tables are set up outside. I was so annoyed by the inflexible and rather arrogant attitude that I probably won't go there again and can't recommend the restaurant - even though the food is delicious.

Seriously! What a circus! We booked a table for 5. For groups of 4 or more, you MUST order the set menu, "because otherwise the kitchen won't be able to handle it." One of us, however, didn't want to eat that much. As an exception, this was allowed. The main courses were actually the same as the set menu. The same amount. Someone understands that. But we were given a bit of a fuss about it. The food was okay. The room was extremely loud. It was difficult to communicate. We wouldn't go again.
