Beautiful, modern and attractively furnished. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. Service inattentive, I waited 15 minutes for the second drink. I would have liked a drink with my meal. The gyro was one of the worse ones I've eaten. The rating of 4.5 stars is incomprehensible to me. Unfortunately 😟

We ate here today and were very curious because the reviews are very different. From superdruper to small portions, everything is included. We have now made up our own minds. The restaurant is incredibly beautiful and tastefully decorated. Everything here is absolutely harmonious, from the entrance to the toilets. The service was excellent, very attentive and accommodating. Let's get to the point...no, the portions are not too small but are ideal for enjoying a starter, main course and dessert. My starter was a bit too powerful but the taste was very interesting. The main course, on the other hand, was sensationally delicious. Conclusion: We'll be back

I had dinner here with my wife yesterday. I had a platter of gyros, turkey skewers and calamari. My wife baked mushrooms. The food was quite good. But the prices are way too high. €20.50 for the platter and €17 for my wife's dish. Plus 2 alcohol. free yeast for €5.00 each. !!!!! What does the tenant think? That I find my money on the street? And then the service. Eternal waiting times. Our food arrived 35 minutes after we ordered. It was only lukewarm. We suspect it's been there for a while. When it came to paying, it was really quick. Without a thank you or any polite phrase, we weren't even given a glance after paying. Yes, and then the background noise. A conversation was almost impossible. Children were constantly running past the table. We didn't even know we were in a playground. The parents didn't care much. They were probably happy to be left alone by their offspring for once. We cannot recommend this restaurant at the moment. But there are enough alternatives, that's the beauty of it. To become positive again.

Very friendly staff, tasty dishes, great garden area

The taste of the food are average. But compared to other Greek restaurants the portions are too small. The squid and shrimp plate I ordered didn't fill my stomach even though my petite customer ate it. The homemade Ade contained no fruit and tasted artificial. Still 7 euros... However, the landscaping and play areas for children are well maintained.

Starters (soup number 5 and seafood number 536) were good! Main courses (e.g. special plates, Crete plates, etc.) They were all so salty that we sometimes had more than 75% returned!!! This can happen once, but the reactions to a friendly point were absolutely outrageous! The fillet, which could be pulled like a rubber band, was dismissed as the best meat and the wife was initially greeted with the sentence “So GIRL, listen!” For components that weren't on the card (allergy sufferers!!!!) it was claimed that you couldn't read (got the card again and showed it to the staff because they didn't know your own card!) And the final argument was: "800 guests wouldn't have said anything today!" No returns, no excuses, charged full price! Conclusion: After many years as a guest: NEVER AGAIN! I don't care what the supposed 800 guests said, I had a topic and it was treated completely unnoticed and cheekily! In conclusion, all I have to say this evening is the following: Thank you for the beautiful togetherness that my toilet gave me after this “enjoyment”!

The location & Atmosphäre wasr it great. Service was awsome and food delicious but, the meal wasn't nor was it warm eoungh to consider good. I'd say it wasn't warm enough. Other guess at our table conside it cold.

The food isn't that good, I don't know which people can give it 4-5 stars and the prices are way too high for one (water 0.7l €6.50 is 13DM) we don't come anymore who goes out to eat there those are people who just want to be seen

We enjoyed visiting this restaurant for many years. The food was always ok. The portions have become a little smaller and once we were unfortunately served lukewarm food (it can happen sometimes). Unfortunately there was no solution when I complained about it. Too bad! Therefore only 3 points. What we often enjoyed seeing and experiencing on previous visits was that the boss personally talked to his guests over an ouzo or two. I haven't experienced that at all lately. Instead, we sat at the last assigned table and felt a little like we were being processed. The waiter/ress was restless and hectic back and forth. You didn't feel like you had to sit here for long. Well, we had an ouzo at the end to “drown” the negative impressions a bit.

We like coming there. However, we noticed that the portions are getting smaller and more expensive. I understand that you have to adjust prices these days, but at least let the portion size remain the same 🙏🏼.

We had a reservation for six people for a birthday dinner, but still had to wait 15 minutes for a table because the place was overbooked. The wait to order was 20 minutes and the food didn't arrive for 70 minutes. Two side dishes were wrong and two of us ordered beef souflaki medium, which was overcooked and inedible. The others weren't happy either. It seems that quantity counts over quality here. The place is very loud and you can hardly have a conversation. The service staff is also unfriendly. Overall the evening was a disappointment.

The dishes taste good, but you can only get a side salad for an additional charge, especially since the dishes are not that cheap. The number of staff is too low or they are overwhelmed. You wait for a table. You also wait until you can order. The ambience is very nice.

The Hubland restaurant is a real gem that delights with its welcoming atmosphere and excellent cuisine. The service is friendly and attentive. Particularly noteworthy is the waitress Leta, who was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the Hubland restaurant as it is ideal for both special occasions and relaxed evenings with friends!

Order is very slow, we have ordered 30 mins, there is even no drink can be served. When I ask when can it be served, the waitress was very rude.

Great restaurant. The best Greek I know. It's also great that you can take your dog with you :). Especially when it's a 90-minute journey, it's nice not to have to leave your family member at home. It would be great if you could give your four-legged friend a bowl of water so that they don't have to endure it in the shade in summer temperatures

I went to eat here with some friends. The food was very good as always. I ordered number 81, a mix between sea and mountain. Which included angel cutlets, fried calamari, Gyros and garlic potatoes. For dessert my favorite chocolate cake with ice cream, which I recommend for sweets lovers. The service this time was a bit poor but I can't complain because every time I go there they are always friendly. Very welcoming environment even for the little ones.

Reserved a table for 4 people today, July 27th, 2024, without any problems. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted in a very friendly and warm manner by the service and shown to our table. Our drink order and food order followed promptly (less than 10 minutes later). About 15 minutes after ordering, everyone had their drinks and food on the table in front of them. The portions were, as always, plentiful. You can't say anything about the price at just under €113 for 4 people. At other restaurants the price range is definitely higher. Definitely worth recommending as always.

I love the food, I love the really beautiful winter garden! However, the service can often be expanded. Even if there aren't many guests in the restaurant, you wait a long time - the service staff are always unfriendly.

Most people in Würzburg think of the Hubland Greek. While the prices are normally high in relation to other Greeks, they use the same frozen products. They look the same as other "Greeks", e.g. souvlaki skewers are very dry and tough like Gandhi's flip-flops. We sent our bifteki (pork) back because it was raw inside. Then it came raw again. This shouldn't happen, especially not a second time. This is obviously a bad sign. You obviously feel really great up there. It looks nice, the appetizer platters are actually appetizing. As with others, the food is heavy and dry in the stomach and has nothing to do with high-quality food. It definitely can't compete with homemade food in other restaurants. It was a nice atmosphere for group meetings, but that's enough for us.

We ordered today. It should have been turkey gyros, unfortunately it wasn't turkey.....French fries were completely soggy and the taste was simply 0. Absolutely not recommended, was the last time here. In addition, the waitresses are unfriendly...

The meat was delicious. The starters: zucchini and eggplant from the oven were bland and a bit tasteless. The tarama was too salty, the feta with honey from the oven was probably more of a cow's cheese and not real feta. The drinks were delicious and the service was very friendly. It's more German-Greek cuisine, with a nice atmosphere, but for the price the starters should be much better.

The best place to have a good time and eat really well. We visit the hubland restaurant probably once a month and as soon as visitors come, this is our first address. Absolute recommendation and worth every €. The eggplant cream is not on the menu, but can be ordered and is my insider tip as a starter❤️

This is where one of the biggest annoyances I have ever experienced in a restaurant occurred. During the Corona period, we were given a meal voucher for this Greek restaurant to support local restaurants, which was stamped, signed and in an envelope. We reported this before ordering, it wasn't a problem. When we wanted to pay we were suddenly informed that the restaurant voucher would not be accepted. Apparently a receipt was also issued (even though the value of the voucher was written next to the signature and stamp) and without this the voucher is not valid. We could no longer rule it out with certainty, but if a receipt had been handed out when the voucher was purchased, it would most likely have been in the sealed envelope. It was assumed to us that we could have just taken the voucher out of the trash etc. and presented it to get benefits. I hardly believe that signed and stamped vouchers are simply thrown into the trash for everyone to access. Maybe the owner can comment on this again under this review, because I can't imagine that this should be the desired way of dealing with the guests and how the misunderstanding, the insinuation and the non-acceptance of the voucher could come about.

Very tasty food! Apparently a lot of people know that too because it was very crowded. We had to wait a bit until a table became available but the staff was very friendly even without a reservation. The food was very tasty and the portions were just right. We paid around €45 for 2 main courses and 2 drinks. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

It's your typical family restaurant. You will never be excited or disappointed by anything you order. I got a mixed platter and when asked, ordered the steak rare. It arrived medium-well. Why even ask if you can't deliver? Also, I was trying not to have alcohol, ordered a non-alcoholic beer and was given a free shot of Ouzo to go with it. Keep that in mind if this is an issue for you. The beer garden is nice, although you can tell that you are near a retirement home. Lots of loud, old people and family gatherings - once again, it is a safe choice. The kids can always have Schnitzel or fries. Portion sizes have definitely been bigger, too, and prices lower. This place has been going downhill, I am afraid to say.

An absolute MUST when in the area

There were four of us there and we made reservations in advance - which was necessary because the restaurant is very busy. As a vegetarian, I found enough choice and as a vegan there are also 3/4 dishes there. It's best to download the menu beforehand. As a welcome and at the end you get a nightcap. Unfortunately, the parking situation is very poor. The four of us paid around 160 euros each with a starter, main course and drinks. Recommended!

There is very good Greek cuisine here. The food is really very good and the portions are generous. The price/performance ratio is good. The service is attentive without being intrusive and requests are taken into account. Actually a smooth 5 star rating, but...... We were essentially thrown out over half an hour before the official closing time. We couldn't even finish our drinks. The ouzo, which ends the meal for most Greeks, was also missing. This does not correspond to the Greek hospitality that I know from many other Greek restaurants and is not really hospitable. It's a shame, the Hubland is not a recommendation.

Very tasty restaurant, always worth a visit

It wasn't so good again. I give every restaurant two or three “chances” but I or we are always disappointed. We called and wanted to order something to take away, the lady on the phone was very annoyed and unfriendly!! The waiter we picked it up from was very nice. When we got home we noticed that a salad was missing and that my Metaxa sauce was once again very runny (unfortunately you can't quite see it in the photo). My dish didn't have as much in it as I know from other Greeks. The only thing that was positive this time was the taste.
