The best Greek restaurant in the WÜ district! You can also come spontaneously and after waiting a while you will always get a seat. Prices are super fair for the quantity and quality you receive.

I was lucky to get a table in the winter garden without a reservation on the weekend. Thanks to the attentive wait staff for the great service. We'd love to come back👍🏻

It's unbelievable how many guests are here in one evening. The food was decent, although I would like to mention that it was the first time that a Greek's liver wasn't too dry. I found it a bit annoying that waiters got stuck on the high chair dozens of times. The reservation was clear and then you can be given a table outside the race track.

Unfortunately the quality has declined and not everyone was friendly when it came to service. We won't come again.

Greek #1 If you want to eat delicious food, you've come to the right place. For me the best Greek restaurant. The staff is always very friendly, responds to requests for changes without any ifs and buts and serves the food within a very short time. The selection is large and there is definitely something for everyone. A clear recommendation in every respect. The next visit is already planned 😊

Unfortunately, the restaurant, which used to be a guarantee of great family celebrations, has noticeably declined. The service is unmotivated. The quality of the food has deteriorated. It seems as if it's all about mass processing.

I went to this restaurant because it was highly recommended from someone I know. I can say, the appetizers were incredible. The wine leaves, the hummus and olive dips, as well as the eggplant dip. The peta was also good. However, I ordered the number 75, the Athens mixed plate, and I was sorely disappointed with the meat. It was all overcooked, especially the lamb and the turkey gyros. The meat was very dry. The beef Souvlaki was fine. I thought I was being too picky as the last time I had Greek food was in Greece, however my fellow guests at the table who had meat also said it was very dry. I followed up with the person who recommended the place, because they moved away from the area, they haven’t been there in years. Maybe it has changed. As for the service, it was okay, but I felt like it could have been better and friendly. The Greek people are famous for their guest friendliness, so I might judge a Greek restaurant on this more than many other kinds of restaurants. I was also surprised that we didn’t get glasses of water automatically. In actual Greek restaurants, you always do. Perhaps because this might be a Germanized Greek restaurant instead of a legit Greek one? I was impressed with their large menu, and they also had some unusual dishes and drinks, which I find intriguing. I was pleasantly surprised they had espresso martinis. That was lovely. The atmosphere was pretty good. It can be pretty loud, at least as I was there. I would love to see slightly better service and much higher quality meat dishes. I can totally understand why this place might have had such a high rating before, based on what I have heard. But, in my option, I don’t think that is true anymore. I would say this place should be maximum a 3.9 as an average. I must give them a 3. My Greek friends would be disappointed if I did otherwise. What a shame!

Super quick food and delicious as always

Rice only tasted like vegetable broth, souvlaki was still bloody inside. Side salad totally wilted and not freshly prepared. The table we sat at was dirty and partially demolished. Service also rather sleepy and unfriendly. Completely disappointed with our visit. Also very expensive. The ambience was also unconvincing due to the tables being too close together and the noise being extremely loud.

We had 4 different meals and they were all very tasty. Only the service at the table was not optimal. Two of us had our plates cleared away straight after we finished eating, even though the other two were still eating.

The food was delicious but unfortunately we had the feeling that the service wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible so that the table could be given away again. We actually wanted to enjoy the evening because we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but instead we were inside of 90 minutes with three courses... Indications that things could go slower were ignored.

Super friendly reception. No waiting time, food came quickly. Very nice atmosphere. Good quality of food. I can only recommend it. Keep it up. We'll be back.

Very good Greek, I would say one of the best in Würzburg. You can also tell from the fact that it always feels like the house is full. There were six of us there, the food came in a reasonable time and everyone enjoyed it very much. Price-wise, it's not necessarily cheap, but it's also not completely overpriced for what you get. But it has picked up quite a bit in recent years. The service was very nice and not too intrusive.

Very tasty Greek food in a huge restaurant with a lot of staff. You can eat inside or in the large winter garden directly adjacent. It is very crowded on Saturday evenings, you have to make a reservation or plan for a longer waiting time, but the very good food is worth the wait.

We ordered to be picked up today and I would have had the food returned to the restaurant. The selection is great, especially for vegetarian dishes. Unfortunately the eggplants were not properly salted and were inedibly bitter. I ate a few spoonfuls but I was really annoyed.

Restaurant with lots of space, you can go there without a reservation. Food as always very tasty. Desserts are at the entrance, cleverly done...

Best Greek restaurant in Würzburg

We have been going to this restaurant for years now. When we first met it, the prices and food on the plate were in perfect harmony. After the corona, the prices and food were out of place because the prices had remained the same but the food on the plate, let's say, had shrunk a lot. then we went now on 27.09 and the portions went back to what they used to be but the prices had skyrocketed, my husband and daughter, I always paid €70 at the beginning, after which they went up to €80 and today we are at €120 for 3 people, absurd. Apart from the exaggerated prices, the food remains EXCELLENT 😊 too bad I wanted to celebrate my husband's birthday but given the prices I decided to change restaurant. Too bad. Very kind friendly staff 😊 beautiful environment.

It always feels like you're coming home after a long trip. A warm welcome from very friendly and courteous staff in a great atmosphere. Rich menu for meat, seafood and vegetable lovers. I love this restaurant! Glossa is my absolute favorite dish (photo) - the atmosphere is nice too. You can sit outside or inside. It's only gotten a little more expensive in the last few years. Glossa was around 15 euros a few years ago and now it's 20 euros.

Totally nice atmosphere but unfortunately the first two visits here went wrong. Baked dishes totally overcooked, endlessly greasy and soaked in sauce that didn't taste good (ready-made sauce?). Customer friendliness varies depending on who you speak to. After about 3 years I tried again, which unfortunately confirmed my opinion. The food is nothing special, ordered turkey gyros, received pork gyros. It's all reminiscent of total mass processing. Customer friendliness decreases as the number of guests increases, our desserts were served by an extremely rude and annoyed waitress that you almost missed the meal. When paying, the waiter spilled a half-full wine glass: no apology, no replacement, just a stupid comment that you shouldn't leave your cell phone on the table because of that. Absolutely not recommended.

We have been going to this restaurant for a long time, but we think the prices have been raised unreasonably! The taste of the food is still okay, but it is nothing special anymore and has deteriorated compared to the previous quality. The service is also no longer as good as it used to be. Long waiting time for the food. You also had to wait forever for a second juice spritzer . Apparently people don't value service and quality as much as they used to!!! In my opinion the best Greek in Würzburg. The ambience is great, especially the large winter garden is really impressive. If there is still space here, I would always prefer this to the upper area, as it is always quite warm there due to the proximity to the kitchen. The food is always on point. No matter whether there are two, three or ten people sitting at the table. The service is also friendly and the insane mountains of plates that are carried there are also super impressive. Children have the opportunity to play and let off steam. I would definitely recommend the Greeks.

Still tastes good, but; Prices increased, salad now has to be ordered separately, portions are getting smaller and smaller. It's actually a shame. 2 people with drinks, Salad about 70 euros, What??!! Update 09/14/24: Now the quality is really declining. Won't be eating there again for a long time. The success and growth of the restaurant has probably gone to his head. Actually, it's a shame.

We ate here today and were very curious because the reviews are very different. From superdruper to small portions, everything is included. We have now made up our own minds. The restaurant is incredibly beautiful and tastefully decorated. Everything here is absolutely harmonious, from the entrance to the toilets. The service was excellent, very attentive and accommodating. Let's get to the point...no, the portions are not too small but are ideal for enjoying a starter, main course and dessert. My starter was a bit too powerful but the taste was very interesting. The main course, on the other hand, was sensationally delicious. Conclusion: We'll be back

I had dinner here with my wife yesterday. I had a platter of gyros, turkey skewers and calamari. My wife baked mushrooms. The food was quite good. But the prices are way too high. €20.50 for the platter and €17 for my wife's dish. Plus 2 alcohol. free yeast for €5.00 each. !!!!! What does the tenant think? That I find my money on the street? And then the service. Eternal waiting times. Our food arrived 35 minutes after we ordered. It was only lukewarm. We suspect it's been there for a while. When it came to paying, it was really quick. Without a thank you or any polite phrase, we weren't even given a glance after paying. Yes, and then the background noise. A conversation was almost impossible. Children were constantly running past the table. We didn't even know we were in a playground. The parents didn't care much. They were probably happy to be left alone by their offspring for once. We cannot recommend this restaurant at the moment. But there are enough alternatives, that's the beauty of it. To become positive again.

Very friendly staff, tasty dishes, great garden area

The taste of the food are average. But compared to other Greek restaurants the portions are too small. The squid and shrimp plate I ordered didn't fill my stomach even though my petite customer ate it. The homemade Ade contained no fruit and tasted artificial. Still 7 euros... However, the landscaping and play areas for children are well maintained.

Starters (soup number 5 and seafood number 536) were good! Main courses (e.g. special plates, Crete plates, etc.) They were all so salty that we sometimes had more than 75% returned!!! This can happen once, but the reactions to a friendly point were absolutely outrageous! The fillet, which could be pulled like a rubber band, was dismissed as the best meat and the wife was initially greeted with the sentence “So GIRL, listen!” For components that weren't on the card (allergy sufferers!!!!) it was claimed that you couldn't read (got the card again and showed it to the staff because they didn't know your own card!) And the final argument was: "800 guests wouldn't have said anything today!" No returns, no excuses, charged full price! Conclusion: After many years as a guest: NEVER AGAIN! I don't care what the supposed 800 guests said, I had a topic and it was treated completely unnoticed and cheekily! In conclusion, all I have to say this evening is the following: Thank you for the beautiful togetherness that my toilet gave me after this “enjoyment”!

We enjoyed visiting this restaurant for many years. The food was always ok. The portions have become a little smaller and once we were unfortunately served lukewarm food (it can happen sometimes). Unfortunately there was no solution when I complained about it. Too bad! Therefore only 3 points. What we often enjoyed seeing and experiencing on previous visits was that the boss personally talked to his guests over an ouzo or two. I haven't experienced that at all lately. Instead, we sat at the last assigned table and felt a little like we were being processed. The waiter/ress was restless and hectic back and forth. You didn't feel like you had to sit here for long. Well, we had an ouzo at the end to “drown” the negative impressions a bit.

We had a reservation for six people for a birthday dinner, but still had to wait 15 minutes for a table because the place was overbooked. The wait to order was 20 minutes and the food didn't arrive for 70 minutes. Two side dishes were wrong and two of us ordered beef souflaki medium, which was overcooked and inedible. The others weren't happy either. It seems that quantity counts over quality here. The place is very loud and you can hardly have a conversation. The service staff is also unfriendly. Overall the evening was a disappointment.

I went to eat here with some friends. The food was very good as always. I ordered number 81, a mix between sea and mountain. Which included angel cutlets, fried calamari, Gyros and garlic potatoes. For dessert my favorite chocolate cake with ice cream, which I recommend for sweets lovers. The service this time was a bit poor but I can't complain because every time I go there they are always friendly. Very welcoming environment even for the little ones.

Reserved a table for 4 people today, July 27th, 2024, without any problems. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted in a very friendly and warm manner by the service and shown to our table. Our drink order and food order followed promptly (less than 10 minutes later). About 15 minutes after ordering, everyone had their drinks and food on the table in front of them. The portions were, as always, plentiful. You can't say anything about the price at just under €113 for 4 people. At other restaurants the price range is definitely higher. Definitely worth recommending as always.
