An absolute must for everyone. Super tasty and great food. PRICELY highly recommended locally

Unfortunately, in the windy weather, I was able to get a quick seat in the entrance area, but without a prior reservation.

The food is pretty minimalistic and tasteless...the onions and tzatziki had the most flavor.

Delicious food. I'd love to come back. Only the drinks are quite expensive.

We won't go there again. I had a bifteki that floated in water. The fries weren't crispy and weren't really hot. The prawns on my wife's skewers don't taste particularly good either. We've eaten better in the restaurant. We cannot recommend it. That is our opinion. You are welcome to try it out.

We were guests for the first time and had made an appointment in person the day before. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and were allowed to sit at a beautiful, solid wooden table for two people. The atmosphere in the restaurant is friendly, bright and invites you to linger. Of course, the restaurant is equipped with Greek accessories and is balanced and appropriate. The hosts are all super friendly, great service providers and passionate restaurateurs; always with a smile on your face and in between with a personal address about your wishes or whether everything is to your satisfaction. The restaurant has an outdoor and indoor area and was busy around 7:30 p.m. Dogs are allowed, which we as dog lovers think is great. The drink order was taken promptly and served in no time. My wife had a bifteki filled with sheep's cheese and I ordered a farmer's platter with souflaki, bifteki and gyros. A small side salad came beforehand and the food was served with fries and tomato rice, as well as tzatziki. The ingredients were fresh, well seasoned and the quantity (we are good eaters) in this day and age when many things are (very) expensive and quantity and quality can fall by the wayside... simply great! We didn't have any starters, although we usually eat at least one saganaki beforehand. This time it was the right decision in terms of quantity. Because we were spontaneously served a portion of fries...that was because I asked whether the portions would fill me up; a very nice gesture. I mentioned to our friendly host that I was looking for the best gyros (and no, I'm not a food blogger looking to score free food! )...a few minutes later, when our food was already fully tasted, we were given an extra portion of gyros, extra crispy!! First the fries, then the gyros...what a generous gesture! And the great thing about it was that we noticed that all customers received attention in one way or another. We really enjoyed our food. For a small bottle of seltzer, a large bottle of 0.75l seltzer, a glass of white wine, a glass of Mirinda soda, two main courses and excluding the fries and gyros portion and including tip, we paid €67; a price that is absolutely right. We recommend this restaurant 100% and give it 5/5 stars! It's nice that there are people who have found their calling and that we as guests can take part in it. We look forward to your next visit! I have known the owner for almost 20 years. We just feel comfortable and in very good hands there. The quality and price-performance ratio are right. Drive regularly when it's convenient. We have a distance of 30 km (one way), but we enjoy driving it! Saganaki, Feta Fourno as a starter & mani platter, farmer's platter as the main course were available today. As always great!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. The price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. The meat was tough, the fries were limp and the portions of rice were tiny. The salad was also sour.

We really liked the food and the restaurant. Even though the hut is full, you don't have to wait long for your food. We enjoyed it very much.

Very tasty food, plentiful and good. Nice and friendly staff. The space on offer is not too big, and when the weather is good, you can go outside. Will definitely come back.

From my point of view, an average Greek and inexpensive is also different. The meat is quite dry and the side dishes and salad are kept small. So normal portions. Even the obligatory ouzo wasn't a highlight. Therefore no repeat or recommendation.

Food was great - portion was right. The only disadvantage was that you couldn't pay by card.

We made reservations for 4 people a few weeks in advance. We were there at 6 p.m. on March 23, 2025 and then had to wait outside for about 40 minutes until we were allowed to enter the small restaurant. (It is already rather small and therefore has no space to wait inside). There were other guests waiting with us. We were not offered a drink or anything similar (which we would have paid for). The ouzo was mandatory before the meal. The service was okay overall. The food and salad came very quickly after we ordered. The taste is also absolutely fine. The “compensation ouzo” that was promised to us (because of the wait) turned out to be the wrong one - a shame.

Four of us had dinner there last night and everything tasted delicious. Four different dishes, everyone was satisfied. The liver was super tender and all of the meat was juicy. Gyros crispy brown, perfect. We had the 102 and 103 and we can recommend them without hesitation.

Food: Solid performance in Hellas. Service: Unfortunately, after a second beer, my order was no longer taken into account and the bill came instead without asking. This clearly gave the impression of “please leave”. It's a shame and I was really still thirsty after eating and would have liked to drink a second beer.

We were there with 4 people on Thursday. Luckily there was still a table available! The waiter was very polite and the kitchen is happy to accommodate special requests. The food was fantastic. The lamb fillet is highly recommended. There was also enough ouzo on the house. A must do for every visit to Timmendorf. The atmosphere is typically Greek. Even though the restaurant was full, the noise was pleasantly quiet.

The food was very good and the price was also justified. Unfortunately, the organization is a disaster, despite reservations, we had to wait outside in the cold for 40 minutes and were then seated at a table with two strangers.

Overall, the food was very good and plentiful, and the service was also good. Unfortunately it was very crowded and loud when we arrived.

We were assigned a cozy seating area and the very courteous service served the drinks quickly. In the guest room there is a stretch ceiling with clouds and indirect lighting. The food was delicious, I particularly liked the gyros. The liver was paper thin and well done. The rice is very intense and the salad dressing is slightly sour. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back.

Food is average and not special🤷🏻‍♂️. Ambience is ok. The fries were warm and not hot. Drinks come quickly and the waiters are attentive. What is striking is that the regular guests get two ouzo (with the first order and when paying) and the “new guests” only with the first order.

We arrived late. Even though the kitchen was almost closed, we still got something delicious to eat. Thank you for this flexibility and hospitality.

Without a reservation, we waited for almost half an hour. Others with reservations ahead of us had been waiting for a while and left in a huff. We got a table in the awning. Above us there was a patch in the tarp that had already been temporarily patched. During our stay there was a brief shower and the water ran through to whoever was sitting underneath. Since the restaurant was busy, it took a while before we could place our order. After another while our drinks arrived and immediately after our food. After about 3 minutes and two requests, cutlery too. Made up for by a funny saying from the waiter. The waiters were really nice and personable. Instead of a baked potato, fries were ordered with a meal. Unfortunately this went wrong. This dish also had a piece of plastic in the food. We sincerely apologized for this. The fries arrived when we were halfway through eating them. The food itself was tasty. But all in all, the long wait to order, drinks and food and then get cutlery, the missing fries, the plastic and the rain shower... well we won't be coming back. It would have been appropriate to take the dish with the plastic off the bill or at least take the 3 drinks on the house. It would also be an idea to hire a Comi exclusively for drinks and mis en place. It's hard to imagine what kind of sales you could make here, with all the guests left high and dry. Overall, it's a shame, especially because the cellars are nice.

Even though we hadn't reserved a table, everything was made possible so that we got a table inside. The food was rich and very tasty. The six of us ate all kinds of dishes and each of us was very satisfied. The wine was also tasty and at the end there was of course an ouzo on the house. We can recommend the restaurant!

Yes, after only being told good things, we had relatively high expectations of Hellas. Unfortunately, we had an evening where the kitchen and service were completely overrun. We were lucky that we had a table reservation (absolutely mandatory!) Regarding the ambience, it's much nicer inside but unfortunately it's not nice outside under the red plastic tent. The heaters were good. When it came to service, we had a waiter who was very attentive and friendly, although the first sentence: "I need to know the numbers on the menu, please, I'm just a guest here today" was a bit confusing. Still, he was great! Food Yeah, what can I say... Large portion, gyros were juicy. I can't think of anything else... No Greek will be remembered... And then finally the Ouzo Count (how much Ouzo we got on the house) ... 0 ... Neither at the greeting nor at the end.

Ambience only 3 stars because we had to sit in the tent because of a big birthday celebration. Otherwise, the service was super nice. The food was super tasty.

A really great restaurant. Also heavily attended. But if you have your space, great. The only drawback is no card payment.

During the holidays in October the restaurant was completely overcrowded, but that The friendly staff accommodated us and managed to provide us with food and drink. The portions were quite large and the prices were in the middle range in our opinion. Only the side salads were put together carelessly and unimaginatively.

The employees were all very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was already cold (even though we had 2-3 minutes to get to the hotel). Unfortunately, the meat had no seasoning and tasted watery, although it had a very good quality/consistency. Prices were like in the restaurant (with conditions and ouzo).

Unfortunately, the Hellas restaurant was not convincing. The atmosphere was uninviting and there was an unpleasant smell in the air. The food was served noticeably quickly, which was unfortunately also reflected in the quality: it was barely warm and seemed rather carelessly prepared. Overall, a disappointing experience that was neither convincing in terms of atmosphere nor taste.

Wasn't a problem at all even though it was pretty busy. The staff made it possible. We were there twice and felt very welcome. Greeks... We love you.

We had a lovely evening there. The service was very attentive and warm in contact. The food was very tasty, hot and beautifully presented and the recommended wine was a perfect match. We were able to end our meal comfortably. We'd love to come back!

The food was ok, with the Bifteki there was only a small blob of tomato rice. The taste was ok, as was the spaghetti with shrimp. Good service.

Due to the tourist exploitation of the place, from which we also benefit, a lot of emphasis is placed on quantity here. The staff tries hard to create a cozy atmosphere, which unfortunately doesn't always work. The food is plentiful and good and the price is based on local conditions. Even without a reservation, you can get a seat with a short wait.

I can't say anything about the food but about how guests are treated. My girlfriend and I were sitting outside the restaurant (it was full), we were told that the next table that was available was for us. After 5 minutes a table became available, but during this time two men, Klaus and a greasy guy dressed entirely in white, with pants that were way too tight, came after they snaked past us and first said hello to the staff like the biggest ones, They then also asked for a table, and one had just become available, so of course give them a table first. (they didn't make a reservation). Other guests also noticed this and asked me if they were serious. We don't feel like that kind of disgusting behavior and left. If people are treated better because they "look like money", I'm happy to go somewhere else and give my tips to someone else. The Italian (Ciao Ciao) next door is highly recommended, super friendly staff, great food.

An unplanned visit... We actually wanted to go to the Italian restaurant next door, but were rudely turned away and ended up in Hellas. We received a very friendly welcome there and were able to get an outside seat in the best weather. Very cozy and very friendly service. The employees are attentive and you are served quickly. We didn't have to wait long for food either. The portions were large and very nicely prepared. The quality was also very good and we really enjoyed it. We'll definitely be back.

A very nice restaurant with great staff, delicious food, good selection. Even if it is full, a spot is always found for families or couples. Since we ate there on the first evening of our vacation and everything was top notch, this was our restaurant of choice. Thanks to the great team and praise to the kitchen.

Delicious Greek. Ouzo is of course available without asking. That's how it has to be with the Greeks! Make a reservation in high season or wait a while for a table. But it's worth it. Prices higher than you're used to, but still within reason. Gladly again.

A mixed opinion about the food: I was very satisfied, but unfortunately my partner was not at all. It was extremely busy and you couldn't make a reservation in advance. Food still arrived very quickly and warm.

Wir sind heute angekommen und haben beim Strandspaziergang zufällig das Restaurant entdeckt. Der Service war okay, das Hefeweizen war nicht sehr kalt und das Glas innen schmutzig. Hab reklamiert und ein neues bekommen. An der Vorspeise Pepperoni konnte man nichts falsch machen. Als das Essen kam Souflaki und Hackfleisch sah es gut aus aber die machen ein irgendwie orientalisches Gewürz ran da vergeht einem der Appetit. Leider gab es auch keinen obligatorischen Ouzo. War nix, die sehen uns nicht mehr wieder.

I ate gratinated gyros with cheese and Metaxa sauce. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not satisfactory as it tasted dry, burnt and old. However, the fries and side salad were good. The ambience of the restaurant was very loud and hectic, which prevented a relaxed atmosphere.

Authentic Greek food, fresh ingredients and warm service. The prices are fair for the quality. Gladly again!
