Wir waren von Anfang bis Ende begeistert. Toller zuvorkommender und netter Service und leckeres Essen. Von orientalischen Gewürzen nichts gemerkt. Sehr authentisch. Danke für den schönen Abend! Wir kommen im nächsten Jahr wieder.

Due to the tourist exploitation of the place, from which we also benefit, a lot of emphasis is placed on quantity here. The staff tries hard to create a cozy atmosphere, which unfortunately doesn't always work. The food is plentiful and good and the price is based on local conditions. Even without a reservation, you can get a seat with a short wait.

I can't say anything about the food but about how guests are treated. My girlfriend and I were sitting outside the restaurant (it was full), we were told that the next table that was available was for us. After 5 minutes a table became available, but during this time two men, Klaus and a greasy guy dressed entirely in white, with pants that were way too tight, came after they snaked past us and first said hello to the staff like the biggest ones, They then also asked for a table, and one had just become available, so of course give them a table first. (they didn't make a reservation). Other guests also noticed this and asked me if they were serious. We don't feel like that kind of disgusting behavior and left. If people are treated better because they "look like money", I'm happy to go somewhere else and give my tips to someone else. The Italian (Ciao Ciao) next door is highly recommended, super friendly staff, great food.

An unplanned visit... We actually wanted to go to the Italian restaurant next door, but were rudely turned away and ended up in Hellas. We received a very friendly welcome there and were able to get an outside seat in the best weather. Very cozy and very friendly service. The employees are attentive and you are served quickly. We didn't have to wait long for food either. The portions were large and very nicely prepared. The quality was also very good and we really enjoyed it. We'll definitely be back.

A very nice restaurant with great staff, delicious food, good selection. Even if it is full, a spot is always found for families or couples. Since we ate there on the first evening of our vacation and everything was top notch, this was our restaurant of choice. Thanks to the great team and praise to the kitchen.

Delicious Greek. Ouzo is of course available without asking. That's how it has to be with the Greeks! Make a reservation in high season or wait a while for a table. But it's worth it. Prices higher than you're used to, but still within reason. Gladly again.

I ate gratinated gyros with cheese and Metaxa sauce. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not satisfactory as it tasted dry, burnt and old. However, the fries and side salad were good. The ambience of the restaurant was very loud and hectic, which prevented a relaxed atmosphere.

Wir sind heute angekommen und haben beim Strandspaziergang zufällig das Restaurant entdeckt. Der Service war okay, das Hefeweizen war nicht sehr kalt und das Glas innen schmutzig. Hab reklamiert und ein neues bekommen. An der Vorspeise Pepperoni konnte man nichts falsch machen. Als das Essen kam Souflaki und Hackfleisch sah es gut aus aber die machen ein irgendwie orientalisches Gewürz ran da vergeht einem der Appetit. Leider gab es auch keinen obligatorischen Ouzo. War nix, die sehen uns nicht mehr wieder.

The food is decent, but unfortunately nothing special. The drinks are very expensive. Unfortunately the service was very hectic and wordless. She also tends to forget something or bring the wrong dish. Loud shouts through the rows of tables “Who gets the gyros?!” were standard.

Toller Grieche, authentisches Personal, etwas chaotisch aber Liebenswürdig. Gratis Ouzo als Aperetiv, Malsachen für den Kleinen kamen unaufgerodert - sehr aufmerksam. Fantastisches Essen, wirklich sehr gut (auch das Kindermenü). Preislich angemessen. Sehr gerne wieder!

We came here based on the many good reviews, unfortunately we were disappointed. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all, the wheat beer 6.10 was not chilled. The special 6 euros. I wonder how you get prices like that. We had the Crete platter and in my opinion there was a lot of air on the plate. After finishing the plate, I was still hungry. And that at a price of 19.50. The service was friendly, but we won't be back

Food and prices are great. Particularly worth mentioning: it is sparkling clean! After 6 p.m., when everyone is hungry after a day at the beach, it is understandably very crowded. It's worth the wait. :) 😀

Spontan bin ich gestern nach dem Strandbesuch hier eingekehrt. Es saßen viele Leute auf der Terrasse. Ich habe mir einen Tisch ausgesucht. Allerdings schauten viel mir dann auf, wie unzufrieden viele schauten. Die Tische waren nicht eingedeckt, es wirkte sehr kahl. Man brachte mir die Karte, ich bestellte nach 10 min. Suflaki mit Pommes, Reis und Salat. Es war nur eine Bedienung immer mal abwechseln zu sehen. Später stellte ich fest, dass Leute die wohl einige Zeit vor mir da waren, einfach nicht bedient wurden, keine Bestellung aufgenommen wurde . Darum wurde ich schon böse von denen gemustert. Mein Essen kam, das Fleisch war sehr trocken. Die Portion Reis war ein Esslöffel. Ich habe Salat und Zaziki abbestellt. Hätte man dafür nicht etwas mehr Beilage anbieten können? Muss nicht, aber das ist auch nicht kundenfreundlich. Es schwirrte eine junge Bedienung herum, die auf jede Frage der Gäste sehr zickig und unwillkommen reagierte. Nun ja. Als ich bezahlen wollte, teilte man mir mit, dass das kartengerät defekt wäre. Sagt man so etwas nicht vor einer Bestellung? Ich fand mich dort nicht willkommen. Ich fand es nicht gemütlich. Meiner Meinung nach war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ausgeglichen. Traurig verlasse ich dieses Gasthaus.

What a rarity in Timmendorf: parking space in front of the house. Then get a place without pre-booking. The food was tasty and was averagely priced.

Reservierung grundsätzlich nicht möglich, da Lage an der Touristeneinfallstraße. Netter Service, schnelle Umsetzung der Bestellung. Umfangreiche Karte zu akzeptabelen Preisen. Aber... vermutlich kein echter Grieche. Seltsame Würzung der Speisen lässt auf Betreiber aus dem persischen Bereich schließen, daher Geschmackssache. Auch den obligatorischen Uzo habe ich vermisst. Ambiente relativ lieblos und gegen Kartenzahlung nebst Quittung wehrte man sich mit doch seltsamen Bebahren.

Going to the Greek to paint again on vacation. We chose Hellas and didn't regret it. We arrived very early and didn't have a reservation, but still got a spot. But after 6 p.m. it was full. We had two mixed platters with gyros, meat skewers, steak, minced steak, etc. There were also fries, rice and tzatziki. Before that there was a salad. Everything tasted very tasty, large portions, juicy gyros. It was a successful evening.

Unfortunately, the food was not at all as described on the menu. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was very unsatisfactory and prepared in an unusual way for a Greek. When we asked the waitress that the food didn't live up to expectations, we were conspicuously ignored by the staff. So when we wanted to pay we were made to wait again. Only when my son asked again did the boss come to find out what was wrong. After we explained it to him in a friendly manner, he became very, very unfriendly and didn't let us speak anymore. His manner was rather mushy. He used sentences like: "If you didn't like it, he would have to fire his chef." Of course he didn't offer us anything to make amends, which would have been professional, but unfortunately the boss can't handle criticism. Conclusion: the restaurant is absolutely not recommended, and the taste is simply inadequate.

After being so disappointed at the new Greek restaurant yesterday, we were pleasantly surprised today! The boss greeted us personally and offered us a great table with his 82-year-old father. We were immediately greeted with ouzo and even special orders were accepted and implemented without any problems. We enjoyed the very plentiful food, delicious liver and very juicy gyros with typical Greek tzatziki. A great German-Greek! We would love to come back here! See you soon, dear Hellas team

We were here as day guests. The staff was friendly and we were served quickly. There's nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately we found the meat (gyros in Metaxa sauce) to be inferior! It was a bit stringy and soft. You had to chew on it longer. Maybe we're a little too spoiled by our favorite Greek restaurant, where it's very familiar and topped off with ouzo! This is missing here! Therefore only 3 out of 5 stars in comparison!

Hellas or hell? - Reserved but not served We had reserved Hellas in advance and were looking forward to a cozy evening. But unfortunately we were taught otherwise. After our arrival we were sent to waiting hell - without fig leaves or ambrosia. After an eternity of over 20 minutes, we finally got a place, not on Mount Olympus, but rather in Tartarus. But that was just the beginning! Because the service was as quick as a Greek tragedy: we waited and waited, but no menu, no service, no ouzo in sight. At some point it became too colorful for us. We felt like Sisyphus rolling the stone up the mountain - only without the stone and without the mountain. Disappointed and hungry, we threw in the towel and left. Maybe we should have sent a Hermes to help us get a menu? Conclusion: Hellas? As hell! It's better to bring your own picnic basket to save yourself the wait.

Food was cold and very poorly seasoned. A matter of taste but for Greek cuisine you should expect more. Price performance is absolutely not justified. No thanks, we won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend it to others.

We visited "The Greek" restaurant on our vacation. Mousakas was ordered. A baked potato casserole. I was served a mini casserole 5x5cm with a tomato sauce. When I asked if that should be a portion, the answer was "yes, that's just the way it is". On top of all this, the whole thing was freezing cold at times. The price here was €19.90!! There was also a salad that was absolutely not fresh and a super dry baguette.

Big disappointment. Unfortunately nothing came after the starter. After an hour you realize that you have forgotten us. Sorry, but that doesn't work! What came next just didn't taste good at all and that's why we won't be coming back. There is now a good alternative in Timmendorf.

The food was more than plentiful, very tasty and beautifully prepared. Service was courteous, friendly and quick despite the room being full. Price performance absolutely top. Above all, there is a free ouzo before and after the meal 👍We made a reservation for the next evening. 6.5. 24 were there again to finish their vacation. Again everything was great.
