Quaint restaurant (restaurant and pub), family business. You can go there as a group and play cards or alone.

Motivated, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere at rather high prices, which is very okay given the city center location and quality.

Unfortunately, I let myself be seduced by the good reviews and reserved a table for our Christmas party. Not only was the reservation (which was confirmed by email) forgotten, no, we were also treated unkindly, insulted and simply left standing (probably in the hope that we would leave). After the waitress couldn't find a solution, the boss became called and suddenly it worked. We got the table and it was probably a shift change, the second waitress was very nice. The food was nothing special, so-so... What upsets me most is that there was no apology. Neither verbally nor otherwise. Mistakes can happen, no question about it, but a simple sorry would have been effective and shown decency. So unfortunately I say "Never again"

This is a German restaurant located in the old town of Hannover. I'd heard it was a popular restaurant, and it was also Christmas market time, so I went outside of the busy hours and was able to be seated right away. I had real German Frankfurt and hot red wine. It was very delicious. I think the cost performance is the best as the price is relatively low. The staff are kind and the store is very pleasant, so it's easy to see why it's popular. At Christmas markets, there are shops that operate in a style where the price of mulled wine includes the cost of a cup, and if you return the cup you get a refund. I was told it was not for sale. It was a nice cup that I wanted even if I paid for it.

Rustic decor no hipsters on site no fancy stuff but coziness and very tasty food Especially recommended in autumn is the kale with Bregenwurst!

Very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, good food and friendly service. I had the spinach dumplings with butter and parmesan - incredibly delicious. The side salad was also good (with cress!). My girlfriend had the Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes and was also satisfied. Her cola was not carbonated - but was taken back without discussion (and of course not charged). Nice selection of draft beers (Guinness too!). We'll definitely be back.

The food tasted very good. It was very crowded and a single person was serving all by himself. Everything was still at the table very quickly. Cozy atmosphere.

Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. More and more convenience products such as pre-cooked potatoes are appearing on plates.

Small portions, a lot of ready-made products, probably and possibly also thawed. Absolutely disastrous for the money! The chef is definitely not a trained chef, there is no professional honor. Seldom eaten with such poor quality. And the portions are really MINI! But the ambience and service are completely acceptable. Service was super nice. But the food is really not good at all.

We raved about our food for days! It's been a long time since I've had such a good tarte flambée and the schnitzel was extremely delicious! Super nice service! We would definitely come back!

It was very tasty, nice on a "side street" there was still a lot to look at and the children could play while the food was being prepared. VG a family with 2 children

Very nice service. There is even a beer garden. The prices are relatively fair. You can't expect culinary excellence at this point: the house specialty is currywurst and fries. It tastes good and you can't complain about the price.

Atmosphere quaint, cozy. Service was very friendly and attentive. Beer selection was good. Simple menu, but something for everyone. The portion sizes are ok. If you're very hungry, you won't necessarily be able to eat just one dish. Especially when it came to pasta, our colleagues weren't full and ordered more cake. But the prices are also rather low, so the price-performance ratio is good.

Briefly asked if I could use the toilet as a non-guest, for a fee!!!... a tough, arrogant one!!! NO you are not a guest!!! from the not-so-nice blonde waitress... Wow... she would definitely have turned away a pregnant woman... unkindness couldn't be surpassed! I probably would have had something to drink afterwards because I still had to wait for my appointment... but the “nice” service was enough for me!

There were six people here, everyone had a different dish. Everyone was very satisfied. The seasonal dishes (various types of matjes) were also very good.

The place is empty except for 2 tables but no free choice of seats. Got a table in the far corner. Service was quick. Food also came quickly, which wasn't a good sign. Schnitzel Viennese style was a ready-made product with an indefinable breading. Grill plate with 3 types of meat, unfortunately everything was completely dry and very firm. The salad was completely dried out. The Pinot Gris I ordered was so sour that it was undrinkable. We complained and ordered another one. When asked, it was said to be the best after a customer wine tasting. Both were then on the bill. Any restaurateur can do that as he or she thinks. All in all a failure.

You feel comfortable here. A great little restaurant/pub invites you to have a nice evening. You can eat great. Has a great selection of beers on tap. And is served by the owners Fritz (father) and Peter (son). Great atmosphere to feel good.

Grill plate was dry and the meat was grilled to death. The veal goulash was subterranean. Okay for drinking beer, not recommended for eating!

Hospital food in a flea market atmosphere We didn't like the food in the Grüpchen restaurant at all. We ordered the winter specials with the hope of being able to enjoy the fresh, hearty German cuisine. There is obviously a lot of work here with convenience products, frozen vegetables, kale from the tube, gravy from the bucket, etc. The very high prices are absolutely not justified. The place seems more like a pub than a real restaurant. Service is cool and distant. The food may only taste good after 3-4 beers… Not recommended!

We just had a drink and watched the hustle and bustle of the Christmas market outside the door. The service was very quick and friendly. There is also a mulled wine stand outside at the moment and it is incredibly tasty. The bar in the restaurant is nice to look at and rustic.

Gemütlicher Ort zum Treffen mit Freunden. Reservierung zwingend nötig, was leider nicht online geht. Aber man gelangt telefonisch zum dazugehörigen Hotel, wenn das Restaurant geschlossen hat. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und macht einen guten Job. Leider ist die Portion vom Haxenfleisch viel zu klein, obwohl ich kein großer Esser bin. Schätzungsweise waren es nicht einmal 100 g Fleisch. Dafür war es dann zu teuer, denn satt war ich nicht. Der Grillteller war von der Größe her okay. Ich hoffe, dass dies ein Versehen war. Trotzdem war es sehr gemütlich und ich würde wieder hingehen.

Urige Kneipe. Haben uns hier nur ein Bierchen getrunken. Speisekarte war nicht unser Ding.

Jedesmal ein Genuß. Fühlt man sich immer willkommen und gut aufgehoben.

Tolles uriges Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen.

Я уже не первый раз в этом месте. Быстрое обслуживание, уютная атмосфера. Тихо, располагает к разговору. Нет громкой музыки и шумных компаний. Несмотря на самый центр города, цены очень демократичные. Заведение подходит для того, чтобы задумчиво посидеть самому, прийти с девушкой или с компанией близких друзей. Атмосфера очень приятная.

Sehr gemütliches, kleines Lokal. Zentral gelegen mit viel Charme eingerichtet. Freundlicher Service sowie eine ordentliche Speisekarte mit Hausmannskost und anderen leckeren 😋 Gerichten. Mittagstisvh ist empfehlenswert. Komme gerne wieder.

Sehr gemütlich innen und außen. Leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung. Es gibt sogar mein Lieblingsbier Guinness vom Faß. Komme gern ins Grüpchen.

Der Service Mitarbeiter war ausgezeichnet. Total freundlich & aufmerksam, hilfsbereit bei der Auswahl des passendes Bieres und ziemlich schnell. Wir hatten den Western-Burger mit Pommes und einen Apfelstrudel. Beides geschmacklich und preislich sehr gut. Wir würden beim nächsten Hannover Besuch definitiv wieder kommen.

Nettes kleines Restaurant in Hannovers Altstadt. Wir hatten einen gemischten Grillteller und den Cheeseburger. Der Grillteller allerdings, war von der Menge her, etwas klein geraten. Der Servicemitarbeiter war freundlich. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis insgesamt war gut.

Currywurst super, deswegen war ich da, auch Pommes sehr gut, cross gebacken und innen kartoffelig, klasse!!Vedienung sehr freundlich und umsichtig, ich kann nur loben.

Wir haben an einem warmen Sommerabend draußen gesessen. Das ist in der Fußgängerzone so eine Sache. Das Ambiente ist anders als drinnen. Essen und Service hat uns gut gefallen.

Het eten is ontzettend lekker. De gastheer is erg vriendelijk. Verder betaal je relatief weinig voor de kwaliteit die je krijgt. Ik zou het iedereen aanraden om hier te eten.

Ein ganzes Lokal am frühen Nachmittag für uns ganz allein zum quatschen. Die Bedienung hat uns auch nicht gestört, wir hatten vereinbart uns zu melden. Das Essen war heiß und lecker. Die Getränke schön kühl. Ein schöner Nachmittag

Es ist ein sehr angenehmes Restaurant. Man kann sich dort gut unterhalten und ein gepflegtes Bier zu sich nehmen. Auch die Leistungen der Küche sind sehr ordentlich!

Schönes gezapftes Bier getrunken

Super Laden. Man kann hervorragend Essen, kleine, gute Karte. Jägerschnitzel top! Einfach nur was trinken, geht natürlich auch. Ambiente und Service stimmen!
