The waiter, Sedat, was very friendly and attentive, which made the evening particularly enjoyable. A truly wonderful experience for the whole family, with something for everyone. We were near Hanover and were looking for a breakfast place. Following a recommendation from friends, we visited bona'me in Hanover. The atmosphere and food were amazing. We'd happily return for a Turkish-style breakfast.

The place is charming, beautiful and cozy, the food spectacular and divine, the drinks delicious.

The food is excellent—always fresh, delicious, and of top quality. The prices are absolutely fair, and you can usually get a table without any problems. A real insider tip for connoisseurs!

All the chains are mostly great. It's sometimes hard to find a place.

Great location right on the Leine River – spacious, modern, yet cozy. We've always been able to get a seat without a reservation, even on busy days. The system is a bit unusual, but the staff are friendly and explain it well: At the entrance, each person receives a card, which they use to order food and drinks at the various stations. You receive a pager that rings as soon as your meal is ready. The selection is varied, the food is beautifully presented, and the value for money is absolutely fair. Of course, the card system for ordering and paying takes a bit of getting used to at first, but it has the advantage of eliminating the stress of "paying together or separately" – everything remains clear. Highly recommended.

A pleasant surprise at the Leine River in the outskirts of Hannover old-city even if it is a little non-personal, non-individual approach to Turkish cuisine. I still enjoyed it a lot and spent many hours while working on my laptop.

Best restaurant for Çay with Künefe

We had several starters and main courses. All were delicious, and the portions were very generous. The interior, with its open kitchen and lovely outdoor area, is truly cozy. The location is also excellent. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant :D

A truly exceptional Kurdish restaurant. Very pleasant ambiance. Friendly and clean service. Parking in front of the door. Plenty of food and delicious. Excellent presentation. Also suitable for larger parties. Very popular with young and old, from German to Vietnamese. A fireplace at the table. As always, see for yourself.

The food is highly recommended and, given the quality offered, can literally be described as good value for money by today's standards. However, the service concept is similar to McDonald's. You go to the counter to order and then bring everything to your seat yourself. The main criticisms are the high noise level (due to its popularity) and the poor air quality due to the open kitchen. You have to plan for that. The sophisticated clientele and the rather moderate alcohol consumption are typically Arabic. Very pleasant.

The food is ready very quickly; you order at the counter and then have to pick it up yourself. The staff is friendly and attentive. The dishes are of good quality. The price-performance ratio is also good, at just under €20 per person with a drink. We had Sebzeli Pirinc Tava with chicken and Tavuk Biftek.

Very versatile and tastes really good

The ambiance is nice, but you have to get your own food and drinks. It's a miracle we didn't have to wash our own plates. The food was simply unacceptable for the price; it wasn't salted properly, was bland, and lacked any depth of flavor. Any kebab plate tasted much better. Half of the menu was out of stock (manti), all in all, very disappointing.

For me, this is the only restaurant, bar, or café in all of Hanover that truly conveys a sense of hospitality, family, and home. It's simply a feel-good place with a rabbit corner for delicious coffee and a pleasant break. The quality, selection, and abundance of food and drinks are also top-notch!

Hello. My sucuk burger order had burnt pieces in it. The potatoes in the hot appetizer we ordered, called Patates and Tomato, were raw. The teapot was unsatisfactory; it seemed to have been made solely for show, and only two cups of tea came out of it.

Everything at bona'me is just perfect! I've never experienced unfriendly staff. Small special requests are always accommodated. The menu matches the atmosphere. The music isn't so loud that you have to shout over each other to have a conversation. All around, great!

Beautiful restaurant with a wide selection. The concept takes some getting used to at first, but you'll soon get used to it. The wine was also delicious. In good weather, you can sit near the Leine River. It's also well-suited for groups.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Hannover. The ordering style in the restaurant is different, they give you a card with 50€ and you go order from different stations based on your order. Food was great with many options. The only issue I’ve faced is that the staff don’t speak English so it was difficult to communicate.

There is nothing better for breakfast

Yes, I wanted soup and breakfast one morning in July 2025. It's not the first time we've been there. However, this morning the cook completely ignored us. We placed our order and he looked away, put on a show with a pirate bandana on his head. We waited 20 minutes with the pager on and nothing. I went to the counter and he spoke to me like a dog. Sorry, but what's with these guys who think they can do anything they want? Listen to the customers, no need to show off. Sorry, but we're extremely frustrated. This kind of behavior is incomprehensible.

This is the third bona'me location we've visited. Everything was great, and the food was fresh and delicious!

The people are all very nice and friendly. It's really nice for young people, but unfortunately a bit hectic for older people, and the system is a bit confusing. The food was actually quite delicious. I just miss more vegetarian/vegan dishes. Unfortunately, there wasn't much choice.

But I can imagine that the music would be nice when the restaurant is busy. Because we were very early it wasn’t busy inside. The terrace was perfect.

🍽 Super delicious oriental cuisine 🍽 The concept of bona'me is reminiscent of Vapiano. You pick up an order card at the entrance to the restaurant on which all the food/drinks are noted. You then use this card to go to the individual stations and get your own food and drinks. If the preparation takes a little longer, you will receive a corresponding beeper. The ambience on site was very nice with plenty of seating and a pleasant atmosphere. When eating there was a large selection of oriental dishes, all of which tasted very tasty. My favorite was the bona'me PIDE with chicken breast, peppers, onions & tomatoes. We will definitely come back!

The food at Bona,me was truly delicious – it would have earned 4 stars for that. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very noisy. Loud shouts came from the kitchen, almost like an argument, which quite disrupted the experience. The service was okay, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. Overall, we give it 3 out of 5 stars.

I was at this restaurant around 11:00 PM on a Sunday evening. It was almost empty – only one table was occupied. I placed my order, and the waitress said the food would be brought to my table in 7-8 minutes. After waiting for over 30 minutes, there was still nothing. Since I had to move on, I asked to cancel my order. The waitress then suddenly said the food was ready and I could take it with me. When I politely declined, I was confronted with a rather inappropriate comment – she said, in essence, that people in other parts of the world were starving and that I was "making food disappear." After a few minutes of discussion, she then told me not to come back. I felt the behavior was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. If they had told me directly that the preparation would take longer, I would have been understanding. But to first create false expectations and then react in this way to a legitimate question is disappointing. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience.

Well, I have to honestly say I was really quite surprised by the whole concept as it was. We arrived and were warmly welcomed and asked if we knew how things worked there. We were given some information, and off we went. We ordered food and thought, OK, like with any other restaurant, it'll probably be a bit too little, so let's get one or two extra dishes to fill us up. Starter: Ezme Turkish (the red one), a full plate plus two pita breads with very fresh homemade bread, simply delicious 😋. Zigarra Börek with cheese 1st meal: Imam bayildi stuffed eggplant 2nd meal: sebzeli pirinc tawa, a bowl-like dish with meatballs, like small meatballs. Drinks: 1 ayran, 1 apple juice It was really delicious, we were full to the brim and it was very, very tasty. Thank you for your friendliness and the delicious food, and of course, the lovely ladies at the cash register. We're really looking forward to our next visit 🙏🏻🙏🏻. I give it 10/10 stars ⭐️
