Great restaurant: the ambiance is good, the service is extremely polite, courteous, and hospitable (unfortunately, that's not something you experience very often these days), and the food is delicious. The wine selection is good. We (five of us) were all very satisfied. I'd love to come back (preferably for breakfast) and would happily recommend it!

Very nice rooms and good location. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the burgers, they seem more like snack food. Prices are fair. Operation satisfactory.

The food was good, and the service was timely. However, I was very surprised to see that they took an automatic 10% tip (added to the bill automatically). I have never had this happen to me in Germany before (not even at this establishment when I last visited last summer). I suspect it is because I may have looked like a tourist. Whatever the reason, it has left a really unsavory impression.

Good place in the city to relax

We were playing cards in a group while we waited but the employee, I think it was the owner, discussed with us why we didn't ask if we could play cards. I found his tone and the way he spoke to customers absolutely not okay. Still, all the best. Hope the man's behavior will change in favor of the customer at some point.

The coffee may look good and so may the restaurant itself. I love the old town and the location is great - but I just didn't want to leave any money there. The vibe when communicating with the employees was terrible. Everyone was stressed (I understand, catering is a stressful business) but you can still stay nice and calm instead of trying to “deal with it” quickly. That's what a coffee break is intended for - to relax and recharge your batteries. The staff is damaging the potential and flair of the café!! Too bad...

I was here for the first time, for breakfast. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The map is manageable, which I think is great. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. The service was nice, but completely overwhelmed. We were there for almost 4 hours and weren't even asked if we had another wish! We constantly had to draw attention to ourselves. It took over an hour for the empty plates to be cleared away. That wasn't very nice. We should urgently work on this.

A great café with a special flair and high-quality food

There were 4 of us there on a Monday. The café itself is very cozy. The café was busy, which made it very noisy. The employee couldn't understand our order properly... and the drink prices were way too expensive. 1€ for oat milk is out of date and you end up paying over 5€ for a large cappuccino. I chose the small one with oat milk. The milk was "over-foamed" and therefore too hot and burnt, so I didn't want a second one because of the price. The breakfast seems to be big enough and fairly priced. However, the rolls are simply baked rolls, which I find a bit of a shame. Unfortunately I wouldn't necessarily go there again :/.

Very nice welcome and overall very courteous and attentive service. The breakfast itself (everything cheese & vital plus yoghurt with fruit) was wonderfully presented, really tasty and plentiful. If the presentation and the quantity stay like this in the future then you will see us more often - so please keep it up! We just arrived in Hannover and were looking forward to a cozy atmosphere, good food and a nice drink. We found all that here, along with extremely pleasant service and in a beautiful location. Tasty menu, something for everyone at great prices. Unfortunately no photos were taken.

Stopped by here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. There's plenty of space indoors and outdoors. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I ordered the beef burger and it was delicious. While it's a bit pricey, the portion sizes make up for it.

Quietly located and the food beautifully decorated and prepared with love. We had brunch there and really enjoyed the atmosphere outside (and inside). The service could be a little more customer-oriented, otherwise I would happily come back. The range is very large and well thought out, even if it is not entirely inexpensive.

Hmm, the cake was basically okay if it hadn't been so super cold. The service was a bit difficult to get, obviously cell phone gaming was more important. The space at the Ballhof is very nice. But there is nothing more to say about it.

I don't understand why the toilets are always neglected, it's a shame. Our conclusion is It's a great place where you can sit well both inside and outside. A wonderfully nice restaurant, with attention to detail and incredibly delicious food, you don't have to be afraid that it won't taste good. The owner and staff are super accommodating and accommodate everyone Wishes with sympathy and always a smile on your face. So far ok, nice place at the ball court. Unfortunately, the Spaghetti Promodoro was totally watery, the tomatoes were definitely not diced (they had dried ones soaked in water) and you had to look for the Grana Padano... Currywurst with homemade fries were good. Whether the portion of mayonnaise has to be served in a separate bowl should be considered in view of the unnecessary waste! The price of €12.90 is also too high for me personally.

the Hofgehisper Hannover is actually the beating gastronomic heart of Hanover. Absolutely warm, courteous service, a great small but highly recommended mix of culinary delights and a classic but very neat and clean ambience make a visit a really nice and delicious experience. The prices are not cheap, but for what you get, they are more than good value. I like to deduct a few stars if something isn't right... all that's left to say is, please, dear court whispering team - STAY THAT way! It's extremely rare that I want to give bonus stars, but they would be appropriate here. ALWAYS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND OF COURSE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
