Zwei Kellnerinnen waren da, eine der beiden war sehr freundlich, vor allen zu den Kids. Bei der anderen Kellnerin habe ich angenommen, dass sie uns vielleicht nicht so gut versteht (wir sprechen auch Dialekt). Das Essen war sehr schnell da, nett angerichtet, alle wurden satt und das Restaurant ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet, sogar eine kleine Spielzeugkiste ist vorhanden (mit einer netten Auswahl für mehrere Altersstufen). Der Preis war ebenfalls für eine Touristengegend eher günstig.

Ein hervorragender, freundlicher Service, der uns ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zauberte, denn wir genossen köstliches Essen auf einem wunderschön gedeckten Tisch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder – sowohl wegen des Services als auch wegen des Essens.

Waren am Sonntag wieder da. Service und Essen einfach perfekt. Hier isst auch das Auge mit. Immer wieder gerne.

Der Magic Montain in der Grenzglashütte Bayerisch Eisenstein ist längst kein Geheimtipp mehr. Wer hervorragende und abwechslungsreiche Küche zu fairen Preisen liebt, ist bei Petra, Tomas und seiner Mannschaft bestens aufgehoben. Ich komme regelmäßig mit meinen Wandergruppen vorbei und noch nie gab es auch nur den kleinsten Anlass zur Klage. Stets freundlicher, zuvorkommender und schneller Service, abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte, geschmacklich und auch optisch außergewöhnlich gut zubereitete Speisen, sowie ein großes Angebot an Getränken lassen keine Wünsche offen und geben das Gefühl bei Freunden einzukehren. Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass dieses Toplokal dem Ort erhalten bleibt!

"Heimat auf Zeit" - nach unserer Böhmerwaldwanderung Einkehr im Mountain Magic. Mein Mountain-Highlight im Tal ;-) Heute den Berg Bowl mit gezupftem Hähnchen genossen - SEHR zu EMPFEHLEN. Dazu ein Kozel und der wunderschöne Tag darf ausklingen. Perfekter Service von Petra und Team mit ehrlicher bester Küche von Tomas. Vergelt`s Gott

Was für ein schlecht geführtes Restaurant! Um 18:55 Uhr wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Küche keine Bestellungen mehr annimmt. Es waren nicht sonderlich viele Gäste da, draußen ein Schild mit „Restaurant geöffnet“, offizielle Öffnungszeit bis 20 Uhr. Wäre ich nicht selbst beteiligt gewesen, hätte ich vermutet, dass es wohl einen anderen Grund gegeben haben muss, aber den gab es nicht: Mind. eine Angestellte wollte einfach möglichst wenig Arbeit haben und wahrscheinlich frühzeitig in den Feierabend starten! 😡

Insgesamt ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Wir haben während unserer Radtour dort zu Mittag gegessen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Essen war köstlich. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Großartiges Essen direkt an der tschechisch-deutschen Grenze. Die hausgemachten Bärlauch-Fleischpflanzen waren hervorragend – hausgemacht, herzhaft, typisch bayerisch. Und irgendwie gibt es hier auch tschechische Blaubeerknödel (kynuté borůvkové knedlíky) – fluffig, warm, köstlich. Die Grenze spielt in dieser Küche keine Rolle. 🫐 Familienfreundlich mit einer kleinen Spielecke für Kinder. Sehr empfehlenswert! 👍

Super leckeres Essen. Toll präsentiert. Bei astreinem Service und liebevollem Ambiente

Ein tolles tschechisches Restaurant am Bahnhof in Železná Ruda. Große Portionen leckeres Essen, nettes Personal, das Tschechisch und Deutsch spricht, Parkplatz und ein schöner Garten. Wir kommen regelmäßig hierher, obwohl wir ein Ferienhaus in Špičák haben. Das Restaurant hat zwar seinen Namen geändert, aber sonst ist alles beim Alten geblieben.

Meiden Sie es, wenn möglich. Und wenn es sich nicht vermeiden lässt, dann setzen Sie sich wenigstens nicht draußen hin – sonst wird es langweilig und niemand kommt mehr. Zehn Minuten Wartezeit… reingegangen, um die Speisekarte zu holen, dann wieder gewartet… und schließlich wieder gegangen. Ach ja, und nur Barzahlung – nicht gerade der beste Laden in Deutschland. Das nennt man wirtschaftlichen Rückschritt.

Wir machen zur Zeit Urlaub im Bayrischen Wald. Und ein Besuch im Mountain Magic Restaurant ist eine unbedingte Empfehlung. Super freundlicher Service. Und das Essen einfach lecker und schön angerichtet. Bierauswahl riesengroß. So dass die Entscheidung schwer fiel. Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall weiter.

Wir waren dort gestern zum Abendessen. Service und Essen sehr gut. Leider keine Kartenzahlung und ich hatte nur begrenzt Bargeld dabei. Für was zu trinken hat es leider nicht mehr gereicht 😀 Wir hatten 2 x Schnitzel und 1x Carpaccio

Ob Sie nur auf der Durchreise sind oder in Alžbětín auf Ihren Zug warten, dieses Restaurant dürfen Sie auf keinen Fall verpassen. Das Essen sieht fantastisch aus und schmeckt noch besser. Freundlicher, schneller und typisch tschechischer Service. Sie können mit Kronen und Euro bezahlen. Wir waren schon zweimal hier und kommen gerne wieder 😁😁. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren am 02.02.2026 gegen 16:45 Uhr als 7-köpfige Gruppe spontan dort. Der Laden war komplett leer und trotzdem wirkte die Kellnerin von Anfang an lustlos und desinteressiert. Kein Lächeln, keine Freundlichkeit, keinerlei Willkommensgefühl. Bei Rückfragen zur Bestellung schaute sie genervt und vermittelte deutlich, dass wir eher störend als willkommen waren. Das Essen war geschmacklich durchschnittlich und nichts Besonderes. Wir sind ausschließlich wegen der vielen guten Bewertungen gekommen. Hätten wir gewusst, wie schlecht der Service tatsächlich ist, wären wir definitiv woanders hingegangen. Ich bin selbst Gastronom und betreibe ein Restaurant. Was hier geboten wird, hat mit professionellem Service nichts zu tun. Das Personal sollte dringend geschult werden, denn so geht man nicht mit Gästen um. Trotz allem haben wir bei einer Rechnung von 154 Euro auf 170 Euro aufgerundet, weil wir Anstand haben und selbst aus der Gastronomie kommen. Verdient war dieses Trinkgeld allerdings nicht.

A completely unique gastronomic experience. The restaurant looks inconspicuous from the outside. When I first ordered, I didn't expect to have something on my plate that could be compared to art. The service is nice, the portions are large. Even vegetarians can eat here wonderfully. 5 stars, I recommend!

We were hungry late this afternoon and found the restaurant on Google Maps. The menu appealed to us, so we tried it. I have to say, we haven't eaten this well in a long time. We had the duck burger and the pork chop. Both were absolutely delicious. At very reasonable prices. Excellent quality, unique flavor, and friendly service. A definite recommendation, and we'll definitely be back.

My personal highlight! A wonderfully delicious meal, cooked with love and artistically presented. The taste was amazing. The service was charming and friendly. The drinks selection was perfect. The dessert was heavenly. The ambiance was stunning.

Super friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, affordable prices, and great food. Cash only! We had a schnitzel and a duck burger. Both were homemade and really delicious – the fries were probably from a packet – they were just okay. We definitely recommend this restaurant. If you need a souvenir, you'll also find local produce in the adjoining room.

A nice restaurant with very friendly service. The trout carpaccio was delicious, and the burger 🍔 was really good. You should come hungry, as the portions are large. I think the menu is fairly priced.

Excellent food and good service! They also serve good beer, including regional beers from Germany and excellent Czech beers. It's no coincidence that this place was voted the best in Bayerisch Eisenstein! It's definitely worth stopping by!

Great restaurant on the border of the Czech Republic and Germany. About 100 meters from the train station, you expect a better "station", but as a surprise you get very nice service, luxurious food served a bit in a "fusion" style, and most importantly delicious, that it beats any restaurant in big cities. The staff speaks Czech, you can also pay in CZK or via QR code👍

The best Burger I've ever eaten😋😋😋😋😋. The cheddar sauce that the waitress (I think her name was Terezka 🤔) poured over my Burger was TOP!!!!! I ordered a burger and got it quickly, but unfortunately it was still raw. I returned it to the waitress about five minutes later, and she said the same burger came back. She said it's the way it should be and that she had supposedly heated it in the microwave. The burger was exactly as I returned it; it wasn't even warm. Sorry, but that's not how you handle a return. It could have been handled differently. I didn't charge for the burger (that was the only good thing about it).

Surprisingly, this is a very good restaurant. We were there with nine people plus our children, and everything was delicious. We'll remember it and come back when we get the chance.

We dined here several times during our vacation and were delighted every time. Everything tasted amazing and was beautifully presented. The drinks selection also left nothing to be desired. The service was friendly, and you could eat outside with a great view of the town. Last but not least, the price/performance ratio was absolutely right. If we were ever in the area again, we would eat here again.

I thought I'd drive to Bayrisch Eisenstein today and discovered this place. What can I say... The food really blew me away. - a salad plate. Doesn't sound very spectacular, but MEW!! The best in years. 🫠 The service was also very friendly. Personally, I give this place two 5 stars.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had the wild garlic meatballs and the liver. There were only two of us serving, so it took a while, but everyone was very friendly.

We had the venison stew and veal liver. This restaurant is a gem; I've rarely had such good, home-style food as I did here. I can't understand the criticisms of some previous reviewers: Where else can you get a venison stew for 15.90 or veal liver for 14.90 these days? And of this quality? If I had to pick one criticism, it would be the mashed potatoes. The portion could have been larger. Not because there was a small amount, but because it was so incredibly good that I felt like eating it myself. Happy to give it 5 stars!

The apple strudel and coffee were quite good but what is not acceptable at all is that the store is offering Zeugl beer salad dressing and another salad dressing where one bottle had already expired in March 2024 and the others in January 2025. The dressing was a bit reduced in price but that is still not acceptable at all. It is simply fraud against the customer.

Great and above all exceptional food at moderate prices. We were completely thrilled.

We actually wanted to eat typical Czech food behind the border, but they scared us away with a bad exchange rate. So we came here and were simply thrilled! The food is high quality and lovingly prepared, which is exactly what you go to the restaurant for. Compliments to the chef! It's a shame: no card payment is possible, but you'll be informed about it straight away. Despite all the enthusiasm, there is room for improvement: If you ask for ketchup with fries and then get two sachets and are charged 60 cents each, then that doesn't leave a good impression.

The Grenzglashütte is absolutely recommended. There is very good food here! We didn't have to wait long and were surprised at the excellent quality and wonderful presentation of the dishes. Coffee and cake are also really good. Attentive and friendly service. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed and somehow friendly. By the way: Even the toilets in the basement are totally chic, modern and excellently equipped.
