Great restaurant on the border of the Czech Republic and Germany. About 100 meters from the train station, you expect a better "station", but as a surprise you get very nice service, luxurious food served a bit in a "fusion" style, and most importantly delicious, that it beats any restaurant in big cities. The staff speaks Czech, you can also pay in CZK or via QR code👍

The best Burger I've ever eaten😋😋😋😋😋. The cheddar sauce that the waitress (I think her name was Terezka 🤔) poured over my Burger was TOP!!!!! For me, everything was at the highest gastronomic level 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪 The ​​Pilsner Urquell on tap was excellent, a delicacy. It's clear that the staff is not only interested in great cuisine, but also the tap is REALLY GOOD

I ordered a burger and got it quickly, but unfortunately it was still raw. I returned it to the waitress about five minutes later, and she said the same burger came back. She said it's the way it should be and that she had supposedly heated it in the microwave. The burger was exactly as I returned it; it wasn't even warm. Sorry, but that's not how you handle a return. It could have been handled differently. I didn't charge for the burger (that was the only good thing about it).

Enjoyed a coffee while waiting for the bus. I'd love to come back.

Surprisingly, this is a very good restaurant. We were there with nine people plus our children, and everything was delicious. We'll remember it and come back when we get the chance.

We dined here several times during our vacation and were delighted every time. Everything tasted amazing and was beautifully presented. The drinks selection also left nothing to be desired. The service was friendly, and you could eat outside with a great view of the town. Last but not least, the price/performance ratio was absolutely right. If we were ever in the area again, we would eat here again.

I thought I'd drive to Bayrisch Eisenstein today and discovered this place. What can I say... The food really blew me away. - a salad plate. Doesn't sound very spectacular, but MEW!! The best in years. 🫠 The service was also very friendly. Personally, I give this place two 5 stars.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had the wild garlic meatballs and the liver. There were only two of us serving, so it took a while, but everyone was very friendly.

We had the venison stew and veal liver. This restaurant is a gem; I've rarely had such good, home-style food as I did here. I can't understand the criticisms of some previous reviewers: Where else can you get a venison stew for 15.90 or veal liver for 14.90 these days? And of this quality? If I had to pick one criticism, it would be the mashed potatoes. The portion could have been larger. Not because there was a small amount, but because it was so incredibly good that I felt like eating it myself. Happy to give it 5 stars!

We ordered a delicious steak and a pulled pork sandwich here. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. There's even a small play area for children. We would go back.

The apple strudel and coffee were quite good but what is not acceptable at all is that the store is offering Zeugl beer salad dressing and another salad dressing where one bottle had already expired in March 2024 and the others in January 2025. The dressing was a bit reduced in price but that is still not acceptable at all. It is simply fraud against the customer.

We actually wanted to eat typical Czech food behind the border, but they scared us away with a bad exchange rate. So we came here and were simply thrilled! The food is high quality and lovingly prepared, which is exactly what you go to the restaurant for. Compliments to the chef! It's a shame: no card payment is possible, but you'll be informed about it straight away. Despite all the enthusiasm, there is room for improvement: If you ask for ketchup with fries and then get two sachets and are charged 60 cents each, then that doesn't leave a good impression.

The Grenzglashütte is absolutely recommended. There is very good food here! We didn't have to wait long and were surprised at the excellent quality and wonderful presentation of the dishes. Coffee and cake are also really good. Attentive and friendly service. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed and somehow friendly. By the way: Even the toilets in the basement are totally chic, modern and excellently equipped.

After a trip to Arbersee, I quickly grabbed some beer 🍺 and then got a place here without a reservation to have a little something for lunch. Bohemian cuisine and fresh from the barrel Pilsner Urquell. Even the dog was allowed in, which is no longer understandable everywhere. Can only be recommended. We'll be back next year 👍

Actually it was an emergency solution on a rainy November day because the original destinations were all closed. In the end it was perfect. Friendly service. Excellent and inexpensive food.

The service was great, the lady spoke Czech and helped with ordering, including recommendations. The food is also excellent, beer and coffee as well. Unfortunately, it was not possible to pay by card, but we could pay in Czech currency.

I had the homemade wild garlic meatballs with a tasty green pepper sauce. This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. My companion had the deer bock sausages, which also had a great taste. I particularly liked the use of the mashed potatoes, which were attached to the side of the plate (see picture). All in all worth recommending.

Very nice, bilingual service. Good Czech and also local beer, brand "HOLBA". This, non-alcoholic, tastes almost like real beer ;-)). Of particular note is the veal liver, which is lovingly prepared and served on pre-heated plates. Thanks!

Were there on Sunday with 2 dogs, very friendly service! She immediately offered us a spacious place and brought a water bowl for the dogs. The food was very tasty, we had the salmon tartare as well as the strong soup and the schnitzel. Everything freshly prepared. The restaurant is highly recommended. Thank you

We were here for the first and not the last time. The ambience is just beautiful and you feel comfortable. The service was great and extremely polite. The food was just wow. My wife had the schnitzel and it was very tasty and looked great. I can only recommend it. I had the steak and well what can I say. It was simply a 10 out of 10. Everything was perfect. I wanted it Meduim and that's how I got it. The chef definitely knows what he's doing. We can only recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience and a good heart.

Excellent food and great service. We were there with 3 children. They got the food first and then the adults. Small indoor play area. There is also a kind of outdoor garden with toys. However, this should be brought into shape a bit. Toilets super clean and modern. Thank you for the lovely evening.

I can only agree with the positive reviews. Fantastic food, more than sufficient portions, competent staff and lovely ambience. Even though it's not my usual style, I was a guest there twice during my four-day stay in town. Must try: The pepper steak platter.

We've been going to Bayrisch Eisenstein up to twice a year for 4 years and we only eat at Tomas and Petra's. The food is perfectly combined and coordinated. The ingredients are very well selected and always beautifully presented to the eye. Petra and her team of ladies are so quick and attentive that sometimes you wish there weren't as many people loving the food as we do, so you can chat for a while longer.
