We had dinner in the Pöschl-Stuben on Sunday (02/02/2025). We were pleasantly surprised. Despite our group of 12 and the well-filled restaurant, the service was quick and always friendly and accommodating. The food was served very quickly, very tasty and the portion size was more than sufficient. A great price-performance ratio.

We were there as a group for two days. On the first day (2/2/25) everything was excellent...great service, delicious food and a short waiting time. Unfortunately, things didn't go quite so smoothly on the second evening. The staff was again very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the wait for the food was far too long at almost 1 ½ hours. The last ones received their food, the first ones had long since finished. It's a shame...we were more than thrilled with the first evening, but the long waiting time on the second evening is too long...especially with children. Many thanks again to the nice waitress, who often apologized for the long waiting time. Therefore unfortunately only 4 stars 🌟

As an avid traveler, I always look forward to visiting this restaurant for truly authentic German cuisine. My first experience with their pork knuckle (Schweinshaxe) was truly unforgettable! It’s the dish that keeps me coming back time and time again. The portions are generous, and the quality is exceptional, making it worth every penny. On recent visits, I tried the currywurst and schnitzel, both equally delicious and satisfying. Their käsespätzle and apfelstrudel are also incredible- flavorsome and perfectly prepared. But the highlight for me was the chicken soup; it was so good I went back for seconds!! The customer service is also outstanding!! Super friendly and attentive. This place is an absolute must-visit if you’re craving authentic German food. Highly recommended! I promise you- you won’t be disappointed!

The quality of the food was poor! 3 different dishes and all 3 not good and not enough for the price! The service wasn't friendly, you had the feeling of being a nuisance. We spent 7 days on vacation eating in different restaurants, this was the worst!

We went to this restaurant for dinner yesterday. We were a little disappointed with the quality. It was very crowded and we had to wait a long time for our food. Everyone was hungry, we were looking forward to the food when it was finally served. The disappointment was even greater, the spaetzle was cold. The meat was undercooked and was raw. Some were returned, which was a shame. The taste was good. However, the waitresses were very friendly and tried hard.

A really nice restaurant to stop off at and, the ambience is very nice and there is a pleasant vibe, the fresh and really intense garlic soup is really highly recommended, provided you are not around a lot of people for the next 3 days, as there is really a lot of garlic includes, accessibility and everything is also very easy and also barrier-free, I have eaten there at least once during my vacation for 4 years

Very good Bohemian and Bavarian food, large portions, fair price!

We didn't know that reservations were required at this restaurant. Then we had to wait about 40 minutes for the table. During this waiting time we already knew what we wanted to order. After we got a free table, we waited almost an hour for food. The service was not courteous and extremely overwhelmed (forgetful). The quality of the food was ok.

Friendly, clean and tasty. However, we found it a bit too expensive in terms of price. But big praise for not using paper napkins and towels and instead using washable fabrics.

We ate at Pöschl three times during our stay in Bayerisch Eisenstein and weren't disappointed once. The food is more than very good, the service is very accommodating and the whole atmosphere is very cozy. It definitely won't be the last visit!

My wife and I went there every evening during our seven-day vacation in Bayerisch Eisenstein and were very satisfied every time. The hosts are very friendly and attentive and the menu offers a lot of variety at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, it is also tolerated there that guests bring their dogs with them. Otherwise a clear recommendation.

We always enjoy coming here to eat. But the long wait for food is definitely worth it! So far I've only had sweets. But it all looks very tasty.

Fine, everything was very good... even if my grilled vegetables were drowned in fat. Unfortunately no Fernet Branka for regulation... but otherwise everything is good. The only thing missing in the restaurant is oxygen...

Wir fahren in jedem "Woid"-Urlaub mindestens einmal hierher. Das Essen ist lecker (unbedingt die fluffigen Serviettenknödel probieren!), die Bedienung äußerst freundlich und herzlich. Preise vollkommen angemessen. Am Abend sollte man reservieren.

Stopped in for lunch while driving through town and ordered Bavarian hearty and Bohemian sweet on the terrace; Both were excellent in terms of taste and visuals! The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. I know where I will take a break next time.

The food is obviously not freshly cooked, but rather assembled from convenience products. The pork medallions were very dry and tough, the mushroom sauce didn't taste like anything and the spaetzle was cold. The still high prices can in no way be justified. However, the service is very friendly and attentive and responded to our complaint professionally. The terrace is cozy.

This was the best food this side of Germany and the best service on this planet. We got very lucky with the waitress, who was the friendliest warmest loveliest person ever, and equally lucky with the chef, who was a magician with food, honestly. The seasonal dishes were so good that we ended up repeating the order of the wild blueberry pie, even though the portion is more than satisfying. The fish dishes, the steak and the burger were so good that I will have to fight you if you disagree. Absolute 100 stars out of five, everybody should come here.

People eat well, service is quick, very attentive and accommodating. Food is plentiful and portions are sufficient. Beer garden very grubby. There are also drinks for dogs. If you want good home-style food with seasonal ingredients, then definitely stop by!

The lack of attention from the staff and a generally unfriendly attitude significantly spoil the visiting experience. The ambience of the Pöschl Stuben is pleasant and cozy. The furnishings are attractive and create a welcoming atmosphere in which you will enjoy spending time. Overall, the Pöschl Stuben offer a mixed experience. While the ambience certainly scores points, both the food and the service fall well short of expectations. In addition, the prices are too high for the quality of the food. The price-performance ratio is not right, which further detracts from the overall experience.

The ambience itself is something to behold. The food came super quickly...a little too quick for my taste. Disillusionment after the food arrived...chicken strips on the salad were so dry, the dip had no taste at all, the burger patty on the children's burger was finished on the outside, raw on the inside. The Jägerschnitzel was okay, but a paltry portion of spaetzle made the whole thing more bad than good. The children's ice cream sundae...I don't know...the cream was warm...nothing more needs to be said about it. All dishes were lukewarm... The prices were brutally salty...sry but 2.50 euros for a scoop of ice cream...

The food was great, the service very friendly, even for dogs. They have a wide selection of dishes. After paying, the waitress offered us schnapps or espresso at the company's expense. We would love to come back.

The team spontaneously organized a great wedding celebration for 20 guests within one day. Eating was also possible with vegans and gluten-free (e.g. the trout from the region). Very flexible, we were allowed to decorate ourselves and also contribute the cake. Always the first address for family celebrations.

Waren heute spontan hier zum Essen. Leider war die Knoblauchsuppe mehr ein Brei als eine Suppe. Geschmacklich war sie zwar in Ordnung aber die Konsistenz echt gruselig. Als Hauptgang hatten wir Gulasch Schweinebraten und einen Burger. Gulasch war auch eine dicke Pampe als Soße und das Fleisch musste man gründlich suchen. Beim Schweinebraten war auch hier die Soße unterirdisch das Fleisch war in Ordnung. Die Reibeknödel könnte man nicht essen komplett geschmacklos. Der Burger war tatsächlich das beste essen am Tisch. Schade da das Restaurant eigentlich gute Bewertungen hat die wir leider nicht bestätigen können.

Wir sind spontan am Karfreitag mit 8 Personen in das Restaurant. Ohne Reservierung haben wir freundlich einen großzügigen Tisch im Nebenraum bekommen. Wir wurden zügig bedient. Die Getränke kamen schnell und freundlich. Das Essen kam zügig, war reichlich und mega lecker. Es war alles top🤩 Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Preis Leistung Super. Auch auf Umbestellungen wurde geachtet. Viele Grüße und danke für den leckeren Blutwurst.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe hier. Der Service war gut, dass Restaurant war gut besucht. Die Speisekarte bietet sehr viel Auswahl. Wir mussten nicht lange auf unser Essen warten. Alle Gerichte schmeckten gut und auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

Haben mit 3 Personen zu Abend gegessen. Jeweils unterschiedliche Gerichte, die sehr geschmackvoll,super zubereitet und außergewöhnlich lecker waren. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Restaurant gemütlich. Wir werden im nächsten Jahr mit Sicherheit öfter in den Pöschl Stuben zum Essen kommen. Mein Sohn hatte eine super Schweinshaxe, meine Frau Reis mit Hühnchen sehr pikant und das Schnitzel mit Spätzle und Pilzsosse hervorragend. Nicht zu vergessen der frische Piccolosalat mit Sprossen.

War wieder mal beim Mittagessen und es war sehr gut. Bedienung freundlich und nett. Immer wieder gerne.

Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal auch außerhalb der Saison. Die French Fries sind hier besonders prima und nicht Standard-Tiefkühlware. Auch die Bratkartoffeln waren ausgezeichnet.
