Restaurant & Gaststätte ´Da Gianni´ UG in Oranienburg

The restaurant's terrace is cozy. The food was okay, but the service was poor. First, a drink was forgotten. Two children ordered pasta with tomato sauce. One child only got a handful of pasta, while the other was forgotten. The vegetarian pizza for an adult never arrived either. When I asked for it, a second portion of pasta arrived. It was three times as much as the first, but without cheese and without cutlery. Instead of a vegetarian pizza, they offered me a fungi pizza. When I told the waiter that it wasn't a vegetarian pizza, they replied that it was, because there was no meat on it. They then offered to bring the vegetarian pizza later, but we decided not to take it. They didn't even offer a small compensation. They sent us off with the words, "See you next time." No thanks, we certainly won't be back.

Beautiful, really large restaurant. The food was excellent. I would have liked them to ask for drinks more often, but that's a matter of taste; others would probably feel annoyed. A change of music would be nice, so you don't hear the same songs over and over again during a longer stay. Unfortunately, the takeaway meal for my husband wasn't quite as good in quality or taste as he would have had at the restaurant. It was somehow forgotten and had to be eaten in a hurry, hence one star deducted. Otherwise, it was superb.

Top-notch service 👍🏻 friendly, extras were included and implemented when ordering. The atmosphere is lovely whether outside or inside, of course, depending on the time of day and season. P.S. I took my dream woman there, and she still puts up with me today. There's still room for improvement in the pizza dough and maybe in the really hot serving, but we'll continue to enjoy going to you because you're the best Italian restaurant in the area! We'd rather drive or walk to you than order something from a no-name restaurant!!! There will be photos next time ✌🏻

Restaurant has a very nice atmosphere The staff is very attentive, so you don't have to wait despite there being a lot of guests. Even the food was served quickly. We had antipasti as a starter - very tasty For the main course we had homemade tagliatelle with salmon in lobster cream sauce and porcini mushroom cream sauce with pork strips. Both tasted very good and would definitely be recommended. Tiramisu for dessert, of course We were very satisfied overall and will definitely eat there again. We stayed overnight in the attached hotel. There isn't a reception there as usual, or it was closed because we arrived on the weekend. We didn't investigate it, but you go into the restaurant and get your key. The room was simply furnished and decorated in a Mediterranean style. In the bathroom you could see that it had been around for a few years, but it was very clean. Unfortunately we didn't have breakfast because we had to leave very early. So unfortunately I can't judge this. Another hotel is to be opened, which will be even more modern. Told by the patriarch of the family business himself.

After a short excursion, we returned there shortly after 11 a.m. with a good appetite. For this reason, we didn't opt ​​for the lunch menu (as the dishes are often smaller), but instead chose food from the regular menu and ordered. When the food came, we were horrified. The food came on large plates and was well presented, but the portions were for children and not for adults. I had chicken, a total of 2.5 potatoes and 3 broccoli florets... for 20€. The other dishes we ordered were also very clear. The three of us paid €90 each with a meal and a drink. Too expensive and then still hungry.

We were there for lunch and would go back at any time. Highly recommended.

Always friendly service, always delicious food, always felt good... nothing left to be desired. Yesterday there were truffle specialties, the beef steak was excellent, the celebration at the table with the pasta flambéed in Parmesan cheese was great. It's nice that dogs are allowed in too. Many thanks to the team for the feast for the taste buds and the eyes.

Great Italian food in a very great atmosphere. Stone oven pizza and pasta dishes are highly recommended. Great, nice service. Only 4 star ambience because of the smelly toilets.

It was a very nice afternoon there. Food was very tasty 😋 and homemade. Inexpensive. The service was very attentive and friendly, we were served quickly and friendly. We were able to change the reservation at any time (instead of 12 people, then 19 people) within a period of time. There is a large selection of dishes and special requests are still taken into account, for example the size of the portion or ingredient (dill) was left out. The food was served quickly, tasty 😋 and warm, even though there were almost 30 of us. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.

After the 4th time (in a row!) we've had enough! We always enjoyed ordering and picking up from Da Gianni. But what has been going on there in the last few months is anything but hospitable and customer-oriented! It started with wrong orders, pizzas that were pitch black and cold and now ends with no order prepared at all... there was no “sorry” or anything else for all of the orders. Today my wife had to wait 30 minutes for the food she ordered an hour ago. Then the food was simply handed to her and nothing came. At least an apology would have been appropriate! Very bad.

Ok, bad weather caught ;), but an unbiased look at the whole thing. The staff is service-oriented and serviceable. However, when it comes to delivering the orders, things get a bit confusing with 6 guests. The costs are in the value for money range. Unfortunately, what was delivered did not match what was ordered. The bruscetta was extremely dry (old, dry bread) and none of the guests liked it). One guest was forgotten to deliver, another received English instead of well done, which another guest (me) had ordered with the same dish. Overall...result appropriate for the price.

I ordered pizza with seafood, the pizza itself was delicious but unfortunately there wasn't enough toppings on it, you would have to look for the seafood, I also put the free olives on it so that there was something on it. For 14.90 euros I would have expected more toppings. Service was otherwise good, as was the taste. Location is not great, right on a busy intersection.

I ordered Pizza Parma to pick up twice. And there was no rocket or parmesan on either pizza. To date my email has not been replied to. Very sad to forget the best ingredients for the price. That was the second time I've had bad experiences there.

Very good Roman pizza. I stopped by the restaurant with customers late at lunchtime. We all had pizza and were extremely satisfied. The pizzas were topped with fresh ingredients. The dough is very thin and the edges are crispy. The service is very attentive and friendly. Gladly again.

We were invited to a birthday party today. Very good and attentive staff. Almost all guests were satisfied with their food. Four people had the No. 78 "Hay and Straw" and were very disappointed, the noodles were too soft, the sauce was too thick, which meant that the dish wasn't good to look at either. A pity!

Simply the best Italian in the district, great ambience, the food is always a poem, whether pizza, pasta or meat. The team is nice, friendly and always keeps an eye on the guests and is there immediately if you need anything. Absolutely recommended in every respect 👍

Das Essen war mega lecker, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Schade was aus diesem Restaurant geworden ist.Waren am 31.12. noch schnell was essen wollten nicht hungrig ins neue Jahr gehen.Als unser Essen kam waren wir erschrocken riesen grosse Teller und eine kleine Portion Essen man hätte denken können das ist eine Vorspeise. Aber nein das war wirklich das Hauptgericht. Für viel Geld wurde nichts geboten. Zum Glück gibt es ja noch andere Restaurants.

Immer wieder essen wir dort sehr gerne essen wenn es mal wieder heißt, wir gehen italienisch essen.

Ob Essen zum mitnehmen oder vor Ort....sehr lecker....bin sehr zufrieden. Die Angestellten und der Chef begrüßen einen sehr freundlich mit kleinen Späßen...fühlen uns dort sehr wohl....

Restaurant eher zufällig entdeckt, sehr sehr lecker! Ich fand Preise eher günstig.

Wir sind Stammgäste und fühlen uns sehr wohl bei Gianni. Essen, Personal sind sehr gut, aber die neuen Preise ab 2022 sind echt zu teuer.

Lecker und wirklich tolles Ambiete! Liebe Kellner und alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Nur bei der Bruschetta hat mir das Öl irgendwie gefehlt. :) Bzw. eine Olivenölflasche generell auf dem Tisch wäre klasse gewesen. :)

Wir sind sehr gerne dort, immer leckeres Essen und super Personal.

Sehr sehr schönes Ambiente. Service sehr aufmerksam. Die Kalbsleber war einen Ticken drüber aber noch zart, Pasta Arrabiata super lecker. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Ich esse schon seit 12 Jahren bei Gianni. Ich würde dort immer freundlich und zuvorkommend bewirtet. Die Qualität der Speisen war dabei ebenfalls immer auf bestem Niveau. Auch Salami Pizza kann man versauen, nicht so bei Gianni.
