The food was great, all 5 adults and 3 kids enjoyed it. Price performance was convincing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, but not too intrusive. The ambience couldn't really have been better considering that it's right on the main street. All in all: We'll be back.

Again, February 28, 2024, looking for a friendly place for my wife, before visiting Sachsenhausen, we ended up eating Italian food (in Germany but oh well,) the truth is without regrets, good prices, good food and very good service (they are Italian), we ate some stuffed gnocchi and a margherita pizza, nothing complicated but the raw materials are very good, excellent attention from the owners, and good conversation.

Very good and homemade Italian food, dishes with more than enough quantity. Neat presentation, clean and well-kept premises and very friendly and attentive staff, they speak German, English and Italian. Very good experience.

Everything was great, but unfortunately there were some noticeably bad-tempered male staff.

Very nice restaurant but the inside area is very narrow. There is also only 1 toilet each. Otherwise you can't say anything and the food is very tasty

It was my first visit because my dear Matteo works there now. We immediately felt at home. No ChiChi, just an authentic, really good Italian. Fantastic food at fair prices, the rack of veal was absolutely on point, wonderful wine, the dessert was a poem, the espresso was strong and sweet, just as it should be. I have a new favorite Italian!

We spontaneously went to Donna Rosa with our dog on a Sunday. The winter garden was well filled. We got a seat inside without a reservation. The Donna Rosa takes you straight to Italy. The white and red tablecloths, the wine on shelves on the walls. The menu is varied and, in addition to pasta dishes and pizzas, offers a wide selection of meat and fish specialties. It was really difficult to choose as there were many delicious dishes to choose from. We each chose pasta and calamari. We were given bread and olives beforehand. The food came in a reasonable time, even though it was really full. A strong plus point. The food really tasted very good. The portions were more than sufficient and filled you well. The service was quick and attentive. A clear recommendation.

Very tasty pasta dishes, very large portions :) We took a break on the way and were really excited. Half a portion is completely sufficient for a five-year-old child. We had spaghetti bolognese, spagetti donna rosa (beef), carbonara and lasagne. I can highly recommend everything!

The service is very nice & attentive, the steak is served exactly how you want it, the meat has a very good bite and taste, the iced coffee really tastes like coffee & is very lovingly prepared, just like the food. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to has a jute piece of meat.

Yesterday we went to Donna Rosa again after a while. On Sunday we wanted to stop by unannounced, but we were unable to do so due to the high number of visitors and the fact that it was completely full. So we reserved a table in good time and off we went. As always, we received a very friendly welcome and were escorted to our table. As always, the service was almost perfect, let's say very good!! Drinks and food came quickly after ordering in the appropriate order without much waiting, and all despite the indoor and outdoor areas being completely full and an event organized by the sponsored youth football club - congratulations on that. As always, the food was delicious and well prepared. Compliments to the kitchen!! After the appetizer, a bill came completely unexpectedly... Except that it wasn't exorbitantly high, but rather unexpectedly friendly for today's times and compared to much worse restaurants. We threaten repeated visits!!!! Thank you

Although it was Saturday, the menu of the day was served. The daily menu included dishes at €10 and pizzas or pasta at €8. We have eaten four cheese pizza and macaroni with tomato vegetables. The food was good and it is halfway between the Sachsenhausen concentration camp and the train station.

As a tourist speaking only English, the waiter was not nice to me. I ordered the penne with hot pepperoni but my pasta did not come with any pepperoni, thus false advertising. Secondly, I asked for tap water and he said it is 2,50€ per person. Nowhere else in Berlin that I've dined at charges for tap water, and I've confirmed again that it is not bottled or sparkling, with him still saying 2,50€. Thus, I said no. He brought bread and olives out for every table except mine and all tables had German speakers. This is discrimination. Other than falsely advertising what's included in their meals, the pasta was overcooked and mushy. The waiter also gave other tables Parmesan and not mine, which truly further confirmed my suspicion of discrimination against non German speakers. I highly do not recommend if you're not a German speaker or you'll also be treated this poorly.

August, it was 31 degrees, the truth is that eating in the heat is quite unpleasant, and they had nothing to remedy it. The food is nothing special. They didn't give us olive starters which is quite rude of them. Do they do the same with all tourists? 😶‍🌫️ Shameful.

The food was good, however, it was very hot both inside and outside the restaurant. As for the service, we were not satisfied because everyone was served olives and invited shots and we were the only ones who were not served.

I reserved a table for 8 people at 7 p.m. At 7:03 p.m., a large table that had become vacant was occupied by walk-in customers right in front of my eyes and the 8 of us stood there without a table. The reservation was simply ignored. Luckily another restaurant 5 minutes away (Geisha) could accommodate 8 people. But I would never rely on reservations at Donna Rosa again. Addendum: The Donna Rosa team has now more than made up for the faux pas with the lost reservation. Thank you again! I was very positively surprised that customer satisfaction is very important here and that people own up to their mistakes. Keep it up!

Excellent Italian restaurant. Run by extremely friendly Italians. Exquisite 100% Italian food. First and second course menu price very affordable for what Germany is in general. Located very close to the Senhausen Concentration Camp, and the train station, I highly recommend it for lunch after the morning visit to the Camp, before returning to Berlin.

Simply spectacular! Good treatment, good service and above all good food and at an unbeatable price, so much so that it seems strange to pay so little for the food. We loved it, I 100% recommend it to anyone who visits the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. It is just a 10-minute walk away and from there, 2 minutes away, you have a bus stop that takes you to the station where you can take the train to Berlin again. A 10!!!

Great, small, cozy restaurant run by real Italians. Food was delicious. Price/performance during the lunch menu is unbeatable. I will come often or call and then pick you up. Is still recommended.

The food was decent here. It is not spectacular, but the prices made it much better. The lunchtime deals made pretty much everything on their menu €8.00-€10.00. This alone made the restaurant worth going to. The staff knew enough English to get the job done, I don’t really know what languages they knew, they said English, German, and Italian words to me but I don’t really care because the food was good enough and the prices were great. The atmosphere at this restaurant was fine, we were able to eat outside in the shade, but there were a lot of older people eating lunch. So, if you are looking for a place with any sort of energy this isn’t the best, but I would go back if I wanted Italian style food and I wanted to save money.

Service was very friendly and attentive! The ambience is rather bad, you're sitting right at a busy intersection. The terrace roof and side elements are getting old. Everything needs to be renewed and made nice. Starter was good and tasty, unfortunately my pizza was clearly burnt and didn't taste good. Maybe it was just bad luck!

Hello everyone, I would first like to thank you very much for the exceptional service, the enchanting ambience and the fantastic food. After moving from Bavaria (Munich) to Brandenburg, we looked for a good Italian restaurant for a long time. Here we finally found a restaurant that exceeded all of our expectations - it's even better than our previous local restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, the food is of the highest quality and authentically Italian. We can particularly recommend the truffle spaghetti and the Napoli pizza – both were simply heavenly and immediately put us in the holiday mood. That's exactly how an Italian should be. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Had dinner there a few days ago, food was so-so. Everything was very cramped on the terrace. The toilet seat in the men's toilet was broken so that the men were afraid of getting something stuck. In the women's toilet there was a changing table and high chairs for the little guests. I would find it very unhygienic if my child had to sit in such a chair. We hadn't even finished our drinks and the chairs were already being stolen from the table. I know that little guests sometimes don't get any painting materials. We won't be coming back again There are better Italian places where the service is also very friendly.

Experience 10/10. Excellent food, very cheap and very good service. They have a very good midday offer from Monday to Saturday. I recommend the pizzas, they will not disappoint you. Mandatory stop if you are going to visit the concentration camp, walking is 10 minutes. Greetings
