L,Oasi. Pizzeria in Oranienburg

Outrageous Appetizer! This was our second visit, as we were very satisfied with our last experience. We shared this positive feedback with the staff, who were very pleased to hear it. Unfortunately, this was our last visit, as our expectations were completely dashed this time. The restaurant was only half full, so we had hoped for good service. We were recommended two appetizers, which we ordered without seeing the prices beforehand. When the plates finally arrived, we were shocked by how exorbitant the bill was! For my parents, who are retired, the evening was ruined. It's a real shame that we had to leave so dissatisfied after such a positive experience previously. We will not be returning.

Second attempt, identical result. Yesterday we tried again at L'Oasi. Since it was very cool and windy, we asked for a table by the wall. It wasn't available because it was reserved. Okay, we thought... We placed our order and waited, and waited, and waited. The main course for those without an appetizer arrived a full 1.5 hours later. The meal itself was excellent, although no one asked how we'd like our fillet steak, and we had to ask for it ourselves just in case. Aside from the regulars who were treated courteously, I can absolutely confirm the "arrogance" or at least lack of courtesy of the staff. They don't look with open eyes to see what else I can do to help, but rather look the other way. Too bad, the food was really good. By the way, the table by the wall remained unoccupied the entire time...!

I had a steak with chanterelles, carrots, potatoes, and balsamic vinegar with honey. The steak and potatoes were okay, but you can't find the tiny carrots at any market, and whether the chanterelles were actually chanterelles is debatable. I ate the small chanterelles at another Italian restaurant. That's what they should look like! The sauce, however, was amazing. No matter what was on the plate, everything just tasted of the vinegar and honey sauce. It wasn't well-balanced. The second dish was liver. The sauce was okay, but the apple pieces were rather mushy and tasteless. The service was mediocre. After ordering and serving the dishes, I only saw the waiter to pay. We won't be back.

We've eaten at various restaurants in Oranienburg many times. This was our first visit to L'Oasi. We only wanted a bite to eat and chose a table on the terrace. We hadn't realized that it was right next to the ice cream freezer. Our mistake. But otherwise, the view of the castle is very appealing, as is the menu. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food. Both the carpaccio with chanterelle mushrooms and the tagliatelle pasta were very bland and bland. Only upon request were a salt shaker and pepper mill brought. The oil and balsamic vinegar, as is common at other restaurants, weren't even offered. What bothered us most, however, was the unmotivated and bored waiter who was in charge of our table. In our opinion, this upscale restaurant has enormous potential, but it still needs to be developed.

Ambience: Right by the castle on the street. Seating inside and outside. Wheelchair accessible. Service: Initially okay. Then it deteriorated; no one asked if everything was okay or if there were any requests. The salad came with arugula, even though I ordered it without, but okay...it was taken down and my partner ate it. The fish was fried at the server's request...if you can call it that, it arrived shredded on the plate...it could be much better. In the end, no one asked about any requests, and no one even asked about a snack. Price: High. Value: Average. Average. A shame...I wouldn't repeat/recommend it.

We've been to the L'Oasi restaurant several times, and it's been a dream every time! A truly outstanding Italian restaurant with friendly and polite staff, incredibly delicious food, and a fantastic location! We love coming back here again and again, as L'Oasi offers a wonderful evening meal. The lamb chop with Barolo sauce and fresh vegetables is highly recommended.

Yesterday at the town festival, we wanted to have a nice meal. The waiters were very arrogant and unfriendly from the start. It felt like they were sitting in a very cramped space because they kept setting up more and more chairs and tables. The food arrived at a reasonable time, but the prices were very expensive; I paid €39 for one dish of lamb fillet. These prices aren't listed anywhere on the daily menu. If the waiters had been friendlier, it would have been much more pleasant, but the value for money is definitely not right.

Waiter unfriendly. One waiter was very arrogant and not at all hospitable. I don't think anyone wants to be greeted like that.

The value for money isn't right here. The expensive dish of black tagliatelle with saffron sauce and scampi had no distinct flavor. Neither did the truffle gnocchi.

L'Oasi is a solid destination for all lovers of Italian cuisine. The uncomplicated table reservation and the prompt and friendly service were really great. In my opinion, however, there is definitely some untapped potential, which definitely needs to be tapped, especially given the slightly higher price level. As mentioned at the beginning, the service was fast and very friendly. Unfortunately, almost everything was missing from our table at the beginning, from salt and pepper shakers and possibly oil to the wine list and tablecloth. Everything was provided upon request, but could certainly have been available at the beginning. Regarding the food, I can only rate the fish platter for two people, which was, to be honest, a bit disappointing. The preparation time was just about acceptable, but it was presented blandly and served at the table without any further comment from the staff. The theme of "eating with the eye" was thus unfortunately missed. Furthermore, we found the vegetable side dish somewhat unimaginative and very spinach-heavy. The fish dishes, while quite tasty, were served without any side dishes. A garlic or herb butter jus, for example, would have been a wonderful addition. We found the portion size a bit too small. Ultimately, we left feeling a bit full and with mixed feelings. The grappa on the house at the end was a nice touch!

We booked here at short notice as an Alfa Romeo group of around 30 people and were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed, had our own lovingly decorated hall, the service was top and the food was delicious. Thank you very much and gladly again.

Atmospheric Italian restaurant next to the castle. Very nice staff who speak many languages. The pizza is delicious and the tiramisu is heavenly. If you are in the area, I highly recommend it.

Went there for the second time and weren't disappointed with the food. 4 adults and 2 children equal €260.00, not every family can afford it. But it was a double birthday which I mentioned when making the reservation. However, it was completely ignored. I know it differently from other restaurants. Well, we were satisfied despite everything.

The recommendation from the service to try the crème brûlèe was followed by disappointment. Very little cream, a lot of sugar, which was also burnt in some places. With a bill of €32 for a coffee, a latte macchiatto and two of these unsuccessful desserts, it was clear to us that we would soon have to enjoy the sun somewhere else.

We have eaten here several times and most recently had our wedding here with 14 people. The food is simply great, everything from the starters to the dessert is simply delicious and no alcohol is used in the preparation of the food without asking if there is an obviously pregnant or breastfeeding woman present. The service also stands out in particular, even if you just call for a drink as you walk past, everything is remembered and brought directly to the person. A great restaurant and a highlight of the city of Oranienburg!

It's always nice here. For me it's the place when I want to eat a good pizza, because it's so delicious here. Of course there are other things on the map too. When the weather is nice you can sit on the large terrace. And there is a very nice guest room for bad weather. The service is always very nice and attentive.

Tuesday evening, 4 tables occupied. There were no prices on the board, it's great that there are recommendations, but I would like to know BEFORE how much the dish costs. Tomato soup with mozzarella was excellent. Mussels and Vitello Tonnato as a starter also great. Unfortunately, disappointment came because the main courses weren't that great. My pasta with pesto and fillet tips was basically ok but not worth €20 because the taste was unfortunately sober. Our other main course was black pasta with prawns, which was also super bland and tasteless. We had to add more seasoning than ever before in a restaurant! We also told the waiter this, but there was no compensation. At first the waiters came to our table every minute, but when the main course came no one came to us and we had empty glasses. Although there were actually more than enough waiters. If we happen to be in Oranienburg again, we'd rather go somewhere else. Nice atmosphere, comfortably furnished, but very close to the neighboring table. Upscale price range but not worth the food. There is free public parking across the street.

Unfortunately always a disappointment! Since the restaurant L'Oasi is within walking distance of my apartment and I really like Italian cuisine, I tried it there again and again. Yes, it is loud when you sit outside, but that's because of the location, right next to a busy street. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the prices are appropriate. But if I go by in person and reserve a table for my birthday (with the corresponding confirmation, of course) then I expect it to work smoothly. Instead, NOTHING was prepared or reserved, we were squeezed into a small mini table. At this point more than half of all tables were unoccupied. Even when we asked, they didn't even want to give us another chair so we could put something down (gifts and bags). And then a single guest came who was allowed to sit down (alone!) at one of the many unoccupied tables for four without any problem (not just briefly but until he left, so no other people followed). When I asked the waiter about it, he told me that this was a "better" guest. This is really outrageous!!! My only regret is that we didn't leave immediately at the beginning. Unfortunately, it was far from the first time that the service was absolutely subpar - that seems to always be the case in summer. In winter the service was really good (same waiters!). But it doesn't work that way. Actually, on this day, after the really good experiences during my visits in autumn, winter and spring, I wanted to make a reservation for my anniversary party with around 40 guests for the company's 30th anniversary in October. Instead, I will never visit this restaurant again and will warn everyone against it.

I had grilled scampi with truffle pasta. Could have been good. Unfortunately the pasta was made with a lot of cream. A bad habit of German “Italians”. The mouth was sticky and you couldn't even taste the truffle. €35.90 is too much for that.

Pizza and salad with chicken was ok and tasty. There was still room for improvement in terms of the friendliness and empathy of the service, maybe you just had a bad day... but that's just part of the overall "restaurant" experience.
