⭐We think it's really, really good at Da Gianni!!! Whether it's hot or cold food, it's perfect. Fresh ingredients, like mushrooms, aren't necessarily standard, but ideally they should be, like here! We like the ambiance with natural stone and wood, as well as the lighting; it's very cozy and attractively decorated with, among other things, countless wine bottles. And I love checkered tablecloths at Italian restaurants 😃 so authentic! But the food is still the main thing, and that's great! We're not from the region, and when we're here, we enjoy being guests. Thanks to the kitchen 👋🏼 and the friendly, attentive service (e.g., refilling drinks, serving the main course at the right time after the appetizer). We look forward to the next time 😊

Following a recommendation, we wanted to try this restaurant. My husband requested a calzone – even though it wasn't on the menu, they prepared it especially for him. He really enjoyed it, especially the crust was super delicious. I ordered a steak – it was extremely tasty and cooked to perfection, exactly how I wanted it. Unfortunately, I accidentally broke a martini glass. I'm really, really sorry about that. However, the broken glass was immediately and very kindly cleared away – without any complaints or annoyed looks. The server was very nice and attentive. Thanks again, Mischa! The food was excellent, the atmosphere very nice – that's what makes a restaurant visit so enjoyable. A thoroughly relaxing and successful evening!

The booked room wasn't available. The manager was unfriendly and below the belt. He seemed overworked and incompetent. I can't comment on the food, as I left right then. It's great when you're completely exhausted at 7:30 p.m. and then have to drive 30 km home. I only wanted a room for one person. He seemed full.

Because of an eight-day professional training course, I was looking for a hotel with a nearby restaurant. I was not disappointed. The attached restaurant is fantastic, with super friendly staff. Once (once, only once) my ordered meal wasn't quite as I'd liked it; the employee sensed this and reacted immediately. I received the same dish again, freshly prepared, without delay. I almost had to hold him up – it was costly... for the owner; great service, something you don't experience often. I also really liked the hotel (motel-style), even though it's not completely finished yet (new construction). Modern furnishings. Everything you need and expect is there. The mattresses were excellent. I slept very well. I would gladly stay again.

I can't rate the hotel; we were only in the restaurant with a birthday party. The place is clean, tidy, and, in addition to the indoor areas, has a very large outdoor terrace on the first floor. This also has a blind that can be used as sun or rain protection. The team is friendly, willing and able to provide service; the food selection is very good, everything is very appetizingly presented and delicious. Highly recommended.

From my side I can only rate the restaurant. We only live about 5 km away and love going here for lunch. A really delicious pizza costs €7.00 and a three-course lunch menu costs up to €15.00. The drink prices are normal and the service has always been very friendly and accommodating.

We are now in our 4th year here. It's like coming home. Some of the reviews leave me stunned in disbelief. Yes, the hotel is on a busy road: car traffic is clear. So what. Rooms are large, comfortable. I don't expect a 5 star room. The food is extremely rich and very well prepared. Not too fast at the table. There is bread and olives at the front, which I never expect. All employees including the boss, very careful, work hand in hand, fast, charming, with a lot of humor. Dog and child friendly to the tenth. We feel very comfortable and the three of us are always here for 3 days over Easter. However, we also see how many guests act from above. We enjoy being here and look forward to seeing all the employees and bosses 😉. See you next Easter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. PS a lot. We had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and fillet tips. The sauce tasted like a ready-made sauce, the "fillet tips", if there were any, were very firm and dry. The food was presented very carelessly, no parsley on top, although it would have gone very well with it. I can't say anything about the hotel, we just went out to eat. Service was otherwise very friendly and accommodating.

I can only report from the restaurant, portions are VERY manageable with impressive prices. First of all, there isn't even any bread, olives or anything like that anymore. The staff is friendly but scattered. We were 7 people, 2 drink orders and 1 dessert were forgotten, one dessert was not served as ordered. You can live with it, but given the current price-performance ratio, I don't think it's ok.

I was just in the restaurant. First of all: I wouldn't come back because of the food. The pasta with salmon in lobster sauce was really bad. It had such an artificial and unappetizing taste, the whole family agreed. The consistency was mushy. The food, all the food, was there in an incredible 10 minutes. This is quick, too quick to cook fresh. But: perfect service. Really friendly and they wanted to offer us something different. We still wouldn't come back.

Start over. Our (new) secretary has booked an overnight stay for me and my work colleague (including breakfast). We came to the hotel in the evening. We wanted to cancel our breakfast because we can treat ourselves to our breakfast time at 9 a.m. (we can't have breakfast until 9 a.m., our bodies won't accept it). Unfortunately, according to the owner of the hotel restaurant, we can't do more. (??? Why). Next morning, “we have to come for breakfast”. Didn't want to eat anything, just take something with you, which wasn't possible (since an employee immediately said: Just eat here). Then we grabbed plates and got food (there was leftover food stuck almost everywhere to the plates and cutlery). Hotel room was unclean, everything that was going on in the hallway could be heard in the room. Once and never again… What a shame.

The food was very tasty. The waiters were super nice and took care of everything quickly. We were there as a group with several people and everyone received their food at the same time. The ostbder restaurant is cozy, especially at Christmas time. Highly recommended.

Dear team, it's a shame, more attention to detail could have been paid. We had the honeymoon suite. Everything is clean, but not very appealing: control panel on the whirlpool is not neatly stuck with gaffer tape, drain does not close properly, water tap is loose, open plug connection and no light bulb on the mirror, cable holes (ceiling) should be plastered, shower curtain attachment is of no use and curtain, washbasin with water damage and gamey .... A tealight in the tealight holder would also have been nice. You don't book this room and arrive with your entire household. You could make more of the room with small steps! The overall impression reduces the feeling of well-being enormously. The food was very good, the attention and service could be significantly improved. Unfortunately, organization (booking, agreements, internal communication) seems chaotic. We can only recommend it as a restaurant regarding the food.

Today was “truffle day”. We loved the beef fillet - or without fillet - with pasta and truffles and celebration in flambéed parmesan cheese. You sit comfortably by the fireplace, the staff is very friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. It doesn't matter whether you eat pizza for 7 euros or ala card for a lot more. A restaurant with a feel-good factor! Thank you and always happy again.

Delicious, truly Italian pizza. Thin and crispy dough, good quality ingredients. The hotel and restaurant are run by a nice Italian. A high-quality restaurant, affordable prices for German conditions, from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. selected pizzas and pastas for 7 euros. There is no craft beer from some German microbrewery.

The Restaurant Da Gianni is very inconspicuous on the outside but lovingly furnished at heart. Even during the week all places are occupied. The service is excellent and the food is not to be missed either. Most recently I tried lamb with fresh porcini mushrooms and a red wine honey sauce. It was excellent.

Unfortunately the waiter didn't really listen and he behaved a bit arrogantly. Ordered two wine glasses with carafe of wine and a grill plate for 2 people. The decanter came with a wine glass and the meal was prepared for one person. It was just disappointing. The hotel was great except for the soft mattress. Everything clean and well maintained.

We've already eaten there 3 times, but the last time was really hell when you have a 5 year old child with you who is hungry, because the food took forever this time & when my husband wanted a second drink, we waited 30 minutes ., which can't be the case, even when it's full, so it needs to be improved when it's busy, otherwise we've always been satisfied in the past, but this time absolutely not 👎🏻

I have only been to the restaurant after many years and can say that this has diminished a lot. Four of us had dinner on the terrace on a Monday and it was well attended, but not overcrowded. The service came very quickly and took our order, pizza 🍕 three times and pasta once. The food came after about 20 minutes and the drinks came after about 10 minutes. Everyone enjoyed the food, even if there was plenty of space for scampi on the pizza 🍕 Scampi, especially since it cost €15.50, so there weren't many scampi on it, I've eaten better elsewhere or it was better topped there at a similar price . After the waitress cleared away the empty plates and probably saw that there were no more drinks on the table, there was still no question about a new drink, so the waitress had to be called back to the table. Some time later the roof was opened so that some women had a blanket to keep them from freezing, while the men put on their jackets. Canopy was then closed just before a rain shower. No one asked for another drink, although a few more glasses would have been drunk. This didn't exist years ago, so we will avoid this lovely restaurant in the future. It's a shame.

Very nice country hotel with an attached Italian restaurant. We have been visiting the restaurant regularly for over 15 years. The quality of the food is consistently good to very good. The hospitality is always nice, the boss always makes the rounds and makes sure everything is right. The outdoor area in particular is great. Completely (flexibly) roofed, but well ventilated with large windows, it is a real oasis of well-being.

Unfortunately not anymore. This contribution only counts for the restaurant. We've eaten there several times and it's always been very good, but this time we were very disappointed. We had to wait 20 minutes until we were served, and we couldn't even order drinks beforehand. There are swarms of flies around the food and the guests, there are fly traps. Very manageable portions that have diminished in appearance and taste. Staff overwhelmed, a meal was forgotten at the neighboring table with around 12 people and the cutlery was brought after asking three times. I wasn't the only one who thought that a meal with meat should be preceded by a salad. That's not true, says the waiter. Too bad, we'll try again later. Maybe we just had a bad day.

A very modern, clean small hotel, right next to the Italian restaurant. The restaurant with outdoor seating is beautifully laid out. The food tasted very tasty and was reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast price is cheap and the offer and quantity are completely sufficient. Small drawback, it didn't bother me, the hotel is right on the street, so there is some traffic noise. I would love to go there again!

It has been a consistently good restaurant for years. The boss and his team have always been very friendly and leave nothing to be desired. In the cozy restaurant, as well as on the beautiful terrace, you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed manner. Absolutely Italian flair. We can really recommend this restaurant.

Went there for dinner and everyone really enjoyed it. When the weather is nice you can enjoy your meal outside on the terrace. On weekends you should make a reservation to be on the safe side. We'll definitely come by again.

The ambience and atmosphere here is very beautiful. The interior was packed and waiters were bustling around everywhere, there was a lot to do! Fast service and drinks and food came quickly. Everywhere you could see waiters running and serving, great actually! The pasta and pizzas were very tasty and the salad was extremely tasty. The sun broke through and everything focused on the outdoors, as all the new guests naturally sat down by the pond. So we sat alone in the hall and felt slightly “abandoned”. Suddenly there was hardly a waiter responsible for us, which was a shame! At some point you could still order drinks. You easily left €150 here and left the restaurant without the famous “nightcap”, for whatever reason. The restaurant is recommended for the pizzas alone, which are very tasty!!
