High-quality cuisine, with generous portions, reasonable prices, a great location, and very friendly staff. If you have the budget, you definitely won't be disappointed. We simply treated ourselves, and it was fantastic.

The service and food were extremely good, but unfortunately, we sat at a very wobbly table with half a meal lying underneath! This one wasn't so great.

We went out to dinner as a couple for dinner and can only thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Fantastic food, a very pleasant atmosphere, and we felt very well looked after by our waiter, Luca, and the entire team! Courteous, attentive, and quick. Nothing was lacking, and even though it was quite busy, we never felt like there wasn't any time for a bit of banter. The ox cheek was excellent! A truly beautiful ambiance, but unfortunately, guests are misled by what they receive. Today I ordered the Mecklenburg venison trilogy (venison leg, venison medelions, and venison goulash). I received a goulash, which was delicious. It came with two medallion pieces, probably pork, and potato wedges. When I asked when I would receive the leg, I was pointed to a medallion. This was supposedly removed from the leg because it would otherwise make too much of a mess on the table. I silently accepted the waiter's statement. When I paid the bill, I said again that I would like the leg next time. The "waiter" then stated that the chef had instructed him to make a false statement. I hope I get what I order next time.

We made a reservation in advance, but it wasn't absolutely necessary for us. The service was friendly, and we enjoyed the food very much. There were a few vegetarian dishes.

Lovely the main hotel was beautiful. I was there for 2 days and engish was a problem. But it's fine. The food was amazing. But I booked this on booking online. Last min. And they had one of the bungalows . Price wasn't bad . Not expensive, not cheap. That was horrible. The TV was not working. Had no channels. There was no bedding on the bed. We got no pillows covers, no duvet cover. There was no sheet. Only mattress cover. May they forgot to prep the room. It was right at the back of the hotel it was like little movable houses. THERE is no signal. Only wifi in the main hotel. No Tv and no internet . No aircon The room was dusty and dirty. I didn't expect that.You pay for everything 10 euro per person to swim. Holiday tax. Use of the bikes. It was uncomfortable. But I didn't complain. Which was my Fault.i don't speak german. Just dealt with it. But it was not fun. Definitely a worthwhile stay if you stay in the main hotel staff are really awesome. Try. There cocktail bar cool. Expensive. But bungalows SJ.

We were served by a very nice young man, very courteous and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and the place very inviting. We would be happy to come back.

I would have loved to eat at the Forsthaus Damerow, as I've heard nothing but good things about the quality. However, the sight of the "Progress Pride Flag" completely put me off my appetite. I don't want to be politically indoctrinated right from the entrance while eating.

Fourth time already... Still a great location, the food is delicious, but guests smoking on the terrace is inappropriate. Non-smoking is a priority in the outdoor area as well.

Highly recommended. The service staff is prompt and friendly. The menu offers something for every taste. The Solianka as an appetizer was fantastic. The main course, the game trilogy, was an absolute highlight. All the meats were wonderfully tender and cooked to perfection. The side dishes were excellent. The dessert, Triple Chocolate, was perfect. For us, it's definitely at the top of the island's best list. We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere is inviting and makes you feel good. The service is courteous and the food comes quicker than you're used to. Price-performance is completely ok given the current prices.

It was definitely the best meal on our vacation on Usedom! EVERYTHING tasted great! The service was attentive and super friendly! We felt very comfortable in the rustic, cozy atmosphere. We'll come in again before we leave!!

The atmosphere there is very appealing. When we asked for a cocktail that wasn't on the menu, our wish was still fulfilled. The service was almost too attentive. You should give the guests some time overall. We ordered dishes with game as a starter and as a main course. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with that. We have eaten better and, above all, cheaper game dishes in other restaurants. Approximately 30 to 40€ for 1 dish is simply too much. Especially since the portions weren't really big. Overall, it was a unique visit to this restaurant for us. Too bad.

Meinen Geburtstag komplett vermasselt. Kellnerin hat gelogen, als ich sie bat in der Küche zu fragen ob mein Gericht Pilze enthält. Das glaube sie nicht, das wär' ihr aufgefallen. Ich bat sie noch mal, einfach in der Küche zu fragen. Sie ging, kam wieder und verneinte meine Frage, es seien keine Pilze drin, also bestellte ich. Das Essen kam, und die Pilze sah ich von Weitem schon. Sie hat sich nicht entschuldigt, bot keine Alternative. Wir mussten komplett zeitversetzt essen, nachdem ich dann etwas Anderes suchen musste. Beim 2. Gericht bat ich, die Pilze als Gemüsebeilage wegzulassen. Ich bekam keine Gemüsealternative angeboten und zahlte den vollen Preis. 2 Sekt wollte sie uns erlassen für ihren Fehler. Eine Entschuldigung wäre mir lieber gewesen - sowas nennt man Anstand! Das Forsthaus war bis jetzt, was Service angeht gut, für uns ab sofort keine Adresse mehr zum Essen gehen! Sehr schade für die Preise, die aufgerufen werden!

I always enjoy eating here, very friendly service and the saddle of venison under a walnut crust is particularly recommended, as every bite is worth the money.

Today we had dinner at the forester's house for the first time in a long time. If quality has its price - then it is absolutely justified here. We enjoyed it very much and are full of praise. We would love to come back here.

Anyone who loves fine cuisine will be very well advised here. The menu is small, but the dishes offered are prepared with a lot of love and taste. The service was very accommodating and always asked if we wanted anything else and whether everything was going well. The four of us had a very nice evening on Sunday.

Unfortunately, a very good example of how one person can ruin your entire meal. If you no longer enjoy your job as a waiter, it's better to leave it alone. I would like to expressly exclude the rest of the staff from this. You can be lucky if you don't get served by the waiter. Then, but only then, it is a very great experience.

We stayed at the neighboring hotel for 2 days and enjoyed dinner. We have rarely eaten such tasty food in a restaurant. Gladly again.

We reserved a table for 2 people for dinner. The service was very friendly and accommodating. That evening we didn't like the taste of the food and the portions were manageable. I ordered the fried cod with tomato garlic sauce for myself. I have never been served such a small, narrow piece of cod on the island. The game goulash for my wife was also not a culinary specialty. The price-performance ratio was not right for us that evening.

Wir waren am 28.09.2024 gegen 17:10 im Forsthaus zum Essen . Obwohl wir etwas früher kamen ,wurden wir sehr nett begrüßt. Der Keller war freundlich und zeigte un unseren Tisch . Das Essen war hervorragend, dei Preise entsprachen durchaus der Qualität der Gerichte. Zugegeben es ist etwas hochpreisig ,aber man wird mit einem tollen Geschmack belohnt. Es ist wahrscheinlich nichts für jeden Tag aber Essen gehen in ein so tolles Restaurant sollte ja auch etwas besonderes sein. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert, wir waren sehr begeistert und kommen garantiert wieder Macht weiter so und vor allem gesund bleiben. Mit den besten Grüßen W. M. und H.A.

Die Wildgerichte sind einfach gut und am besten ist der Hirschrücken, da macht man nichts falsch.

Beef roulade Rösti red cabbage, roulade had a little little filling for me, and the chef must have been in love 😀 didn't skimp on salt. Overall it was good and the atmosphere was very nice. Very upscale like the prices. Still recommended, you don't eat here every day but twice a week is ok.

Tolles Restaurant. Personal, welches mit charmanter Höflichkeit bemüht ist, dem Gast ein herzliches Willkommen und einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Die Gerichte auf der Speisekarte erreichen jeden Geschmack. Dir Getränkekarte bietet eine Vielzahl erlesener Spirituosen an.

Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant. Schön gelegen, toller Service. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn die Küche/der Koch besser gewesen wären. Bei uns war die Rehkeule zu trocken und die Serviettenknödel zu lange angebraten. Das Restaurant könnte mit einer sehr guten Küche und seinem Ambiente viel mehr aus sich machen.

Das Essen war für die aufgerufenen Preise einfach nur eine Katastrophe. Der Service, bis auf eine junge Dame, unterhalb Aushilfen Niveau. Wir waren zu fünft, hatten zur Hauptspeise 3 mal Rehkeule, die war so tot gekocht wie eben nur möglich, in etwa Kantinenniveau. Zudem hatten wir 2 mal Hirschfilet, jeweils 2 kleine Tranchen mit schätzungsweise jeweils insgesamt ca. 100 Gramm die Beilagen so lala, etwas Gemüse und einige Gnocchis zum Preis 36,00 € pro Portion. Insgesamt habe ich mich noch nie von einem Restaurant so über den Tisch gezogen gefühlt.

Essen ist lecker aber Preis-Leistung passt nicht ganz. Plätze vorne beim Tresen ziemlich dunkel durch starken Efeu-Bewuchs. Kann man mal essen gehen aber es gibt schönere Restaurants auf der Insel mit einem besseren Ausblick

The ambience in an old-fashioned hotel has its charm. Unfortunately, this charm didn't rub off on the waiter. Right from the start there was a skeptical look because you showed up a few minutes early. We were not informed of any additional costs when ordering. The food was brought with a sauce that wasn't on the menu, so it was returned. The waiter then made a rude comment as to why this had not been said before. The food was a little more expensive but also tasty.

We had dinner at the Forsthaus Damerow. The offering is high quality and a lot of it is regional. Our food was very tasty, everything was freshly prepared and still came quickly. We then decided on dessert and didn't regret it. The triple sorbet was amazing. Conclusion: A trip to the forester's lodge is definitely worth it.

We stayed at the Forsthaus Dammerow over the weekend and ate there on the first evening. Good food, fine cuisine but also high prices. What we liked is that dogs are allowed in the hotel and in the restaurant.

Das essen ist sehr lecker! Das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Im Gastraum war es eher kühl. Etwas warmes zum anziehen empfiehlt sich.

The staff is very friendly and always had a smile for the guests. If you have the opportunity, you should sit on the terrace, because the resort's quiet location means you can eat in peace and at the same time take a deep breath from the stress of everyday life. I was disappointed with the food. The asparagus was tasty, but the potatoes were obviously warmed. As soon as the food was served I thought the potatoes looked strange. But I didn't want to judge too quickly and ate them anyway. They were wrinkled and had hardly any taste. Like they came out of a microwave or were kept warm for too long. The hollandaise sauce either made a mistake in preparation or was also heated because the fat dissolved and floated on top. Unfortunately it didn't taste good at all. The second dish tasted good, but it was a very small portion, so we ate some more at home. For the price we paid it was disappointing.

Unfortunately our dishes were only lukewarm. However, the game dishes were of good quality and taste. Other dishes were rather average in taste. In our opinion, our waiter was inappropriate in his seemingly funny comments. When my father-in-law used the guest toilet, the toilet was also used by a cook, instead of the staff toilet.

Da wir bereits um 18 Uhr essen waren war es noch relativ ruhig in Forsthaus. Bereits nach 15 Minuten hatten wir unser Essen auf dem Tisch. Das Wildgulasch war sehr gut, der Zander auf den Punkt gegart.

Wir waren zu siebt am zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag im Forsthaus Damerow essen. Es war alles wunderbar: innerhalb einer halben Stunde hatten alle ihr Essen, der Service war aufmerksam, das Ambiente hat gestimmt. Ein sehr gelungener Ausflug.

Sandornsaft war leider aus. Hirschruecken perfekt. Speisesaal sehr groß und damit ein wenig ungemütlich.

Zum Abendessen im verschneiten Forsthaus Damerow. Zum Essen hatten wir die Wildcreme und die Hähnchenbrust in Kruste. Als Zwischengang gab es hausgemachtes Ragout Fin. Alle Speisen waren frisch und von gut Qualität. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Diese Art der Gastronomie wie rustikales Ambiente, höfliche aber nicht aufdringliche Bedienung und gute deutsche Küche findet man nicht mehr an jeder Ecke. Um so mehr genießen wir den Aufenthalt im Restaurant wann immer sich die Gelegenheit bietet.

Das Restaurant bietet auch lokale Küche an. So gab es heute Wildgulasch. Sehr gut zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft. Das Restaurant Forsthaus Damerow können wir guten Gewisssens empfehlen. Ein schönes Abendessen bei Kerzenschein und Kamin. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Reservierung unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
