Excellent value for money and portion sizes! Generously sized plates and very tasty. A slightly Polish-inspired menu and a lovely outdoor seating area. A charming view of a bit of the city center, which looks very well-maintained. Everything was very good, highly recommended.

After a truly delicious meal this summer, we returned today. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The zander was freshly fried and piping hot, the fried fish in a potato crust was unfortunately a ready-made product, like you'd expect from a snack bar. The fried potatoes were dry and lukewarm, definitely not freshly prepared. While the plates were being cleared, no one spoke; they just took them. No "How did you like it? Do you have any other requests?" etc. We felt like we'd been "fed up"... you can go... the next guests are waiting... Empty glasses were ignored. If we'd wanted to generate more revenue for the restaurant or were thirsty, we would have had to shout out, as there was no eye contact with the guests. To ask for the bill, I raised my hand at the counter, as they were only serving newly arrived guests. A shame. Unfortunately, we didn't feel like a guest today!

Absolutely excellent! We've been here several times. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is authentic home cooking and always good. Pork dishes have never been overcooked and dry. (Not many chefs can do that.) Highly recommended.

Disgusting! Since the change of ownership, the quality of the food and the hygiene in the restaurant have plummeted. There were eggshells in the food, hair in the salad, and the fried potatoes were all burnt black. €90 for this. Never again!

An absolute recommendation. Excellent food quality, friendly service, and plenty of seating inside and outside! The kids just wanted to go to the Pottkieker. We'll be back on our next vacation!

A culinary discovery in Koserow. We visited the "Bin Pottkieker" restaurant in Koserow this evening and were absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere was inviting, and the service simply outstanding. The staff was not only super friendly and approachable, but also accommodated all our requests. We felt welcome from the very beginning. We opted for the pollock fillet with fried potatoes and the pulled pork burger with fries. Both dishes came with a side salad. The pollock fillet was also served with a delicious, homemade remoulade, which gave the dish a special touch. The quality and taste of the food were top-notch, and the value for money was absolutely spot on. We were completely satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend "Bin Pottkieker." We will definitely be back!

For many years, we have been spending our summer holidays in Koserow and have enjoyed many wonderful evenings at the Pottkieker. The owner, Paul, conjures up delicious, freshly prepared dishes in his kitchen. The quality of the food, whether meat or fish, is consistently excellent. Katja, the co-owner, and Lidia, the server, always serve the dishes in a friendly manner. Always mindful of ensuring that all guests are well looked after, they are not intrusive. We are happy to recommend this good, down-to-earth restaurant. Just go and enjoy good food. By the way, the white wine with ice cubes and the large beer are always delicious, too 😋

I highly recommend this place. The owners, Paul and Kasia (Polish), are incredibly kind. The food is delicious and served quickly. I recommend the carrot and lavender salad! I'll definitely be back next time.

We visited the restaurant last year and enjoyed it again this year. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Only the potato pancakes in the "Polish-style goulash" could have been a bit more substantial. It's good value for money. We recommend this restaurant for any stay in Koserow. Tip: Reservations are recommended; since there were two of us, we were lucky.

I'm really surprised by all the positive reviews. The two employees were incredibly rude. We hadn't made a reservation. The waitress who was milling around outside simply ignored us. And the lady at the counter did glance at us briefly, but didn't signal that we should come in. After the waitress outside finally spoke to us, it turned out that it was full outside, but that she wasn't in charge of the inside service; her colleague was. So she left us standing there. She didn't speak to her colleague either, but just carried on... We then went inside and asked the colleague, who wasn't particularly friendly. She just said "full"... and waited 5, 10, 20 minutes or so with a shrug... We left. So we can't rate the food, but the service was 0/10.

Sorry, but it wasn't great. The food was cold and just reheated. The salad was already brown. It wasn't fresh food!

I have to wonder how this restaurant has received so many positive reviews. Maybe we ordered the wrong food. However, when I see the photos of the dishes, which require a bit more skill to cook, I feel even more vindicated. My son and I had a burger with fries for €18.90 and a Jägerschnitzel with fries for €19.90. The burger was frozen and undercooked (unfortunately, I only noticed this after my son had already finished...), and my schnitzel was also clearly from the freezer. The only thing that seemed homemade were the creamed mushrooms, which were overcooked beyond recognition. The "side salad" listed on the menu was grated beets, which were also very, very sour. In August, you can expect fresh salad. But it's expensive and time-consuming because it spoils more quickly. Furthermore, children don't eat beets, which is why one "salad" was returned uneaten, and there are also a few allergy sufferers who can't tolerate beets. To top it off, we had to pay €2 for two small portions of ketchup. Including drinks, we paid over €50. The owner calls it profit maximization, and I call it a rip-off.

My husband and I are very pleased. Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly. I recommend this place and will definitely be visiting often.

Prices are completely exorbitant, the staff are rude and inflexible. Children aren't welcome, or so the impression is. The food was okay, but not that great for the outrageous prices. We won't be back and won't recommend it to anyone.

We've been coming here every July for the past three years, this time with 16 people (8 adults and 6 children). Katja, the owner, is always sweet and friendly, even though it's always busy. We had lunch today: farmer's breakfast, aspic, creamed herring, pepper medallions, breaded pollock fillet. We were served by Katja, a very nice, friendly young woman with a great sense of humor who was attentive to our needs...but without being intrusive. The food was of excellent quality, everything fresh and homemade, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The portions were very generous; we could barely finish them. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

The food is definitely not worth the money. The promised sauce was hard to find, the fries were very large and thick, and therefore less popular with the kids. The website has an outdated menu, the prices were incorrect, and some dishes hadn't been available for three years. We were greeted on the phone and told straight away what was out of stock. For us, that wasn't really the level of service you'd expect from a restaurant. Even ketchup costs extra here. They also charged €1 per dish for wrapping... and they even overcharged for one wrapper. Simply cheeky.

It's so unassuming, but a glance at the menu immediately convinced us with its reasonable prices. We decided in advance to try Polish home cooking, so we had pierogi and Polish goulash—both were delicious (my husband is from Poland). Very friendly service, delicious starter, the waiting time for the main course was very short, in my case this was the steak au four with fried potatoes and it was by far the BEST steak au four I have eaten so far! No "canned ragoufin", but everything homemade and freshly made and prepared, the fried potatoes were also very tasty. Price/performance is absolutely reasonable, I can absolutely recommend it.

Although the new menu is very tempting, especially the liver with apples and zander, this time I chose the classic... Burger with sweet potatoes. A delicious and beautifully presented dinner, kudos to the chef!

The only thing was the very friendly service. It started with sour beer, which was exchanged without any problems. The fish soup was bottom drawer. The pepper steak didn't deserve its name. Price performance was disproportionate. We cannot recommend it to anyone.

It was our first time eating there and we really enjoyed it! The staff was really nice and the food tasted very good. We tried the vegan burger, among other things, and it was super tasty, especially in combination with the vegan mayonnaise! The fries were also great and we were very full after the meal. We only have positive things to report and we would love to come back!

Well, I'm not the kind of person who writes reviews or complains, but the food wasn't good at all. I ordered a vegan burger, the patty was green like spinach and tasted like fish a la Bordolaise. I really tried to eat the burger but I couldn't get it down! The food was returned and the criticism was not really addressed! After we expressed the criticism, the boss talked about it in Polish a few tables away and pointed the finger at us. I have never eaten so badly in a restaurant and have never been served so badly. The atmosphere seemed cold and loveless. First and last visit.
