Fried fish 2 parts, one of which was fried so thin and dry. Waiter informed, didn't respond. That's not how you treat guests. You can ask yourself whether these are gastronomy experts...

The food was good, but the portions were manageable. But the schnitzel was said to be great. For us, with rather lively children, it wasn't necessarily a place where we would stay for a long time...we had the feeling that we were "disturbing" other guests.

Very good food, pollack fillet with fried potatoes (price-performance ratio fits) and a nice ambience. The restaurant could only be open an hour longer (9:00 p.m. instead of the current 8:00 p.m. There is little parking on the street, about 200 meters of public, paid parking)

Delicious food, everything to the point, sufficient portions, very friendly staff, comfortable seating, served quickly. Gladly again and we were all extremely satisfied!

We went to this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday. We were warmly welcomed and our drink order was taken. This also came very quickly, just as quickly as the food. The fish was on point and tasted excellent. The prices are absolutely reasonable compared to the quality offered here. The staff is really super friendly and attentive. We are completely thrilled and will definitely come back.

The two of us were in the 'FISCHERSTUBEN' on a warm evening at the beginning of September. Getting a seat on the terrace is difficult without a reservation but we were lucky. On the one hand we ordered Matjes Hausfraustyle, on the other hand plaice fillets with crabs and bacon, each with fried potatoes. The portions were just enough, the housewife sauce was very limited. The fried potatoes seemed like they came from a steamer or deep fryer - at least not from a pan. The waitresses were friendly and quick to help. What really bothered us about it, however, was that the waitresses were very keen to fill the tables quickly - they asked several times (not just us) whether they had any further requests... The beer we ordered was ok and at a good temperature - but today only a smooth 4****!

Zu zweit waren wir in den 'FISCHERSTUBEN' an einem warmen Abend Anfang September. Auf der Terrasse einen Platz zu bekommen ist ohne Reservierung schwierig aber wir hatten Glück. Wir bestellten zum Einen Matjes Hausfrauenart, zum Anderen Schollenfilets mit Krabben und Speck, jeweils mit Bratkartoffeln. Die Portionen waren gerade so ausreichend, die Hausfrauensauce war sehr knapp bemessen. Die Bratkartoffeln kamen uns vor wie aus einem Dampfgarer oder Friteuse - jedenfalls nicht aus der Pfanne. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich und schnell zur Stelle. Was uns daran allerdings richtig gestört hat: Die Bedienungen waren sehr stark darauf bedacht, die Tische schnell wieder zu besetzen - es wurde (nicht nur bei uns) mehrfach nachgefragt ob man noch Wünsche hat... Das bestellte Bier war ok und gut temperiert - trotzdem heute nur geschmeidige 4**** !

Great restaurant! It was very well attended every evening. All tables inside were full - always reserve in advance! :-) The service is great and super fast! The food was always delicious. We can only recommend a visit there!

Not recommended! Our visit was a disappointment. First our table collapsed causing all the drinks to fall on the floor. To our astonishment, we were charged again for the replaced drinks - I've never experienced anything like that. The senior portion in the photo cost almost €30. Not even a slice of lemon found its way onto the plate. The taste was average, neither bad nor outstanding. Overall it was just annoying, especially when you want to treat yourself on your last night.

Quality of the food: super fresh and all handmade products. Service: Staff friendly but hectic and not very flexible with special requests. Ambiance: open, friendly, bright, in keeping with the theme of fish and sea. It's hard to get a table without a reservation or there's only a waiting time. 3 parking spaces directly in front of the door. Additional parking spaces are available free of charge in the area. Prices are rather high but appropriate for the quality.

Many dishes can also be offered gluten-free. It was very tasty. We'd love to come back!

The restaurant is definitely recommended. The food was really delicious. Portion size was enough. Mayo and herb butter were homemade. The waitresses were quick and very friendly.

The restaurant has a terrace on which, unfortunately, reservations cannot be made. I waited until a table became available, but the food was worth the wait. The waiters were reluctant at first and not nice when I told them I wanted a table on the terrace. I asked if I could sit at the bar and order something to drink until the seats became available. I was refused and told I had to wait and order at the table. This was disturbing and I think they should review their venue policy.

Hervorragende Küche, zuvorkommender, aufmerksamer und sehr freundlicher Service, schönes gemütliches Ambiente...alle Jahre wieder und immer wieder sehr, sehr gerne. Alternativen zur Fischerstuben gibt es in Bensersiel nicht. Kompliment an die Crew! Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.

The food was very tasty (dishes Langeoog and Matjesfilet Hausfrauen style). The service was friendly and quick. Luckily we got a table straight away because we were already there at around 4:50 p.m. Later it soon became more crowded, then more with reservations. We'd love to come back. :)

Unfortunately, the cosiness falls by the wayside, even with maritime decorations it remains cool and the tables are close together so there is little privacy, it was quite full and therefore very loud. Never again. Totally overpriced, drinks stretched and the waitress can't even remember what exactly the guest ordered.

Yesterday, on the last day of vacation, I spontaneously stopped by the Fischerstuben and got a table on the terrace; And what can you say: a holiday can end so beautifully. From the starters to the main courses to the dessert, it was simply very good. Friendly and fast service completes the overall picture. There's only one thing left to say: Thank you for the lovely evening and we'll come back next time we're in Bensersiel

We have eaten here twice so far, First class quality, very nicely presented, quick process, very friendly service, we'll be back.

We can only recommend the “Fischerstuben” in Bensersiel. We ate there twice this year. The evening before last we had pre-booked the table. Worked great. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food was again very tasty and plentiful. I can recommend the fried cod with vegetables, garlic sauce and fries. But we also enjoyed the other dishes. There was nothing to complain about. We'll come back on our next vacation.

We ate here several times during our stay and were very satisfied every time. Very personally run restaurant, food very good, portions just right for seniors, very friendly service from everyone, the icing on the cake was the home-baked fish with the cappuccino afterwards. Simply great!

First day of vacation in Bensersiel. First dinner and a direct hit. The menu still offers so many things that we will try... We sat outside, protected from the wind "behind glass" 😉, the cars parked in front of the restaurant still disturb the ambience a bit, but the friendliness of the waiter and the quality of the food ultimately make up for it the raindrops that forced us to leave quickly at the end. We would love to come back again.

We recently went to the place again after years and had dinner there. But we wouldn't do it anymore because the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. The pork medallions were tiny and the herb butter was just a measly blob. I can get a reasonable portion size in other stores for the same price. The fried fish was also disappointing. Instead of the expected glassy back piece, there was a dry tail or belly piece. Every kitchen should know that this thin fish can only be dried. For both dishes, you should keep your wits about you and say that they are over when you no longer have any usable products to prepare them. The service and ambience at least maintained the previous standard.

We have been guests in the Fischerstuben for around 20 years, we don't want to miss them, a really great team, very good food at any time of the day, a nice meeting place with a cozy atmosphere, of course the place Bensersiel has conquered our hearts, continue So, I recommend everything in terms of food

During our vacation, we didn't have the opportunity (despite the empty restaurant) to have dinner here... We entered the restaurant around 5:40 p.m. every table was empty and only one had a sign that it was reserved... we asked if we could sat down and (two adults and a 4-year-old child), the waiter answered yes, but by 6:30 p.m....then my husband answered that he was not sure if we would arrive, to which the waiter rather uncomfortably said, I will certainly arrive, it's going fast ...given that on our vacation, for our money, we want to decide how long we will stay for dinner, we looked for another restaurant

Rarely have I eaten such a Finkenwerder-style plaice and the Watten beer was also really tasty

We asked by phone whether a gluten-free meal would be possible in the restaurant. After a detailed conversation, we went there with a good feeling and would do it again at any time. Many dishes are gluten-free, all sauces and schnitzels can be prepared without breading. Contamination is no foreign word, there is an extra deep fryer and the staff is very knowledgeable. We were always treated in a friendly and polite manner and had every question answered. The food came without a long wait and was extremely tasty. A clear recommendation to safely eat gluten-free.

We ate there on two consecutive days because it was so good that we wanted to try more dishes again. 😊 The ambience is lovingly designed with attention to small details. The service is very attentive and recognized when we wanted food or drinks. There were 4 of us and each ordered 2-3 courses. Both the fish, noodles, soup and the desserts were on point and the waiting time was more than reasonable in relation to the enjoyment.
