We went there for dinner twice. It was very tasty both times. The ambience with a view of the Baltic Sea is very nice. The only downside is that dessert was forgotten or was accidentally served to another table and we complained after 30 minutes that it was still missing. The dessert then had to be made again and the service apologized for the faux pas. It can happen and since we were on vacation, we had time :-)

Very tasty food, lovely, nice young waitresses, clear recommendation! A lady actually wrote in the review that the portions were too small. There must be a mix-up, the portions are huge, we had something else packed for us. Again: very nice and good restaurant!

I ate pizza, very tasty. On the terrace the tables have beach chairs! When the weather is good, it's wonderful.

Unfortunately, both the cutter's plaice - still glassy - and the fried potatoes, some of them older and blonde, and all of them practically without salt. The low-acid, expensive wine turned out to be an acid hammer, and the selection for glasses of wine was very limited. The staff is very young but particularly friendly and helpful! And, in no way barrier-free! Therefore: not again!!!

We ate there twice during our vacation. The first time we had suckling pig. It was super grilled, absolutely juicy. The rind was also super crispy. Convinced us to go a second time. Table reserved 2 days in advance, it would have been better to reserve the day itself, then there would have been more choice of seats. The second time we drank Schole and Limonada, they were really delicious. When we asked, the chanterelle menu was brought to us. Can happen. The bruschetta was also great. Then the second mistake happened. My main course was delivered incorrectly. I ordered Talialle with chanterelles and was served pizza with chanterelles. I said as soon as it was served that it was wrong. A friendly apology was given. Can happen. Was then brought to about 10 minutes later. 6 more shrimps were ordered. People specifically asked if they still had to be peeled, but when they ordered they said they still had to peel the shrimps. When served, some of the heads were still attached, some had already fallen off and were then lying on the plate. Not very tasty to look at. The taste of the shrimp was ok. Ordered the chilli because you couldn't tell whether it was spicy or not. The bread with aioli and the salad were also great. However, I have a not so nice plate: pork medallions with chanterelles in tomato sauce with rosemary fried potatoes. The potatoes were really tasty, but the pork medallions weren't for us. If you asked the service there would have been some. The waitress asked in the kitchen. Unfortunately for us there were none. For there were triggered chops. At home we looked at the menu again and what it said: pork loin medallions. Which is unfortunately a shame, as the word “back” was quickly overlooked. It's a shame that this isn't pointed out to you, not even when you ask. The tagliatelle were a bit too soft and too short to turn. The chanterelles would have been nice to wash again, but in the meantime they crunched a bit while eating them. Otherwise they were delicious. After we asked about the mediallons and wanted the bill straight away, we were ignored by the service. Only after the table behind us had paid did service come to us. So that I could pay. Overall, the food is good and the service is friendly. But a third time we would only eat the plaice and limonada with suckling pig, not everyone else.

Food was super delicious, I had the penne con pollo and a lemonade "Fun on the Beach" the taste was a bit reminiscent of a cocktail, very light but unfortunately a little too much ice. Otherwise very nice restaurant, I was just missing the light music in the background. The conversations at all the tables were so prominent but not too blatant. I can recommend a visit and I will definitely reserve a table again on my next vacation. Btw. You should do that too, if the weather is pleasant I would recommend the winter garden or outside, it's even nicer with the sea next door.

The food was very tasty. Thursday is suckling pig day, highly recommended. You are served super quickly and the view when you sit outside is perfect, directly over the sea... However, you should reserve a table in advance.

Very fine food. More upscale cuisine and close to the sea. Therefore prices are slightly higher. Price-performance ratio is still good overall. Portions could be larger for me as a heavy eater. There was a lot going on. The waitress missed one or two little things in the order. All in all, 5 stars and my recommendation!

Thursday is suckling pig day. Just super delicious. Everything is just right here. We'd love to come back.

We had suckling pig, it was plentiful and super tasty. Many thanks to the nice gentleman who prepared the suckling pig so deliciously. We will visit this restaurant again and again.

I ate there several times during my 4 week rehab stay. Despite the huge rush at mealtime, as an individual I was always assigned a very nice table. Staff super nice, quick and attentive. Great selection menu, Thursday Life Cooking suckling pig. I got a bruschetta for the beach a few times, what can I say, everything was great.

I went there for dinner 3 times. It was pretty good, except for the last time, when everything was spoiled for me. Food was suddenly very bad. Service overwhelmed even though there wasn't much going on. And the biggest mess, dessert was on the house and was still on the bill. Too bad It used to be really good and had slowed down a lot. 3 stars because it used to be good

We sat outside with the "roof" closed. If you sit further by the windows you have a pretty nice view of the jetty and the sea. The service was nice and relatively attentive. The food was quite good. The best thing was that the steak was warm for a long time! We just had to wait a really long time for our main course after one of us ordered a starter. The lemonade is not recommended, there are much better ones. And the Aperol Spritz was a bit watered down. So for the price I have to say there are definitely better alternatives.

The star is only there because you can't give a rating otherwise. I've never waited so long for a pizza. 1.5 hours after the starter there was still no main course in sight. When we asked, it was very unprofessional: we were full, even though only half of the tables were occupied. The boss just received a complaint from the neighboring table and, after my request, made the statement that we were also dissatisfied and that she would come to us immediately, but that didn't happen. After almost two hours we canceled our order and went home hungry. Conclusion: Never again!!!!!!!

I wouldn't give a single star. Service unfriendly and unable to criticize. After 1.5 hours without eating it's crazy. Would definitely not recommend it.

We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. The ambience was nice, we had a view of the Baltic Sea at our table, the sun was shining - simply wonderful! The service was very friendly and accommodating, and we can highly recommend the food. Everything we ate tasted excellent. Penne with rump steak strips, linguine with chanterelles in mascarpone cream and, for dessert, crème brûlée and homemade panna cotta with strawberry puree and peach-passion fruit sauce, plus homemade applesauce. This evening will remain a fond memory and we highly, very much recommend the Filou restaurant. The price-performance ratio was also great and we would love to come back!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Ambiente war schön, wir hatten an unserem Tisch einen Blick auf die Ostsee, die Sonne schien - einfach herrlich! Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, das Essen können wir wärmstens empfehlen. Alles, was wir gegessen haben, hat exzellent geschmeckt. Nudeln mit Rumpsteak-Streifen, Linguine mit Pfifferlingen in Mascarpone-Rahm und als Nachtisch Crème brûlée und selbstgemachte Panna Cotta mit Erdbeerpüree und Pfirsich-Maracuja-Soße, dazu noch selbst gemachtes Apfelmus. Dieser Abend bleibt in schöner Erinnerung, und wir empfehlen das Restaurant Filou, sehr, sehr gern.

Had dinner here with a friend last night (08/03/24). The food was really delicious and the service was extremely attentive and friendly. The only minor criticism is that we waited a relatively long time for our main course after the starter. A very big plus point in this context: they apologized for the long wait and we got a glass of wine or a cappuccino on the house. Conclusion: We would definitely come back.

We can't understand the good reviews... Service is okay... but the price/performance ratio is absolutely not right... Schnitzel ready-made with a few fried potatoes that were just greasy... Vegetables consisted of green beans with a little hollandaise... also a ready-made product... the men We were still hungry...the only thing that was generous was the bill...you can get that better in a snack bar...we definitely can't recommend it

Nice welcome and friendly staff. I had pasta in tomato cream sauce with salmon strips. Hmm 🤔, ...unfortunately it was very sober and the fish wasn't freshly prepared, unfortunately dry, like it had been warmed up. My companions had schnitzel with "fried potatoes", which were not fried potatoes, but tasted more like jacket potatoes in a butter sauce. Unfortunately the schnitzel was left in the pan for too long and it was dry. As an additional side dish, beans, “bitter” in taste. The ambience and staff promise more than the kitchen delivers. Too bad 😢.

A great, clean, large, well-organized restaurant, right on the dike. The service was super attentive, everything happened very quickly. What is particularly noteworthy is that they were all very young adults, but they were excellently trained and did their jobs really well! 👌 The drinks arrived quickly, the food arrived super quickly and it was very tasty. We had pizza, fish dishes and vegetarian lasagne. Everything tasted delicious, was fresh and reasonably priced. That wasn't the last time we were there!

Everything was just right here... Behind protective glass walls there is also seating in a beach chair with a view of the Baltic Sea. Ordering drinks directly at the table via the QR code shortens the waiting time for drinks. Very thorough, good and quick service that served the excellently prepared dishes. We can highly recommend 'Feta al Forno', 'Roast Beef Tonello', the 'Linguine with Shrimp' and the 'Holstein Schnitzel with Vegetables and Fried Potatoes'. Very tasty home-baked bread was also served. And in addition to the very good quality of the food, the portions were also generous.

Spontaneous visit also due to the many good reviews. We had the schnitzel with vegetables and the panfish. The schnitzel was good, crispy breading and juicy schnitzel. However, the only vegetables that came were 4 lukewarm, salty broccoli florets. The pan fish was nothing, very fishy, ​​too fatty and way too salty. There seemed to be only 3 drops of dressing on the side salad with the fish and two thirds of the lettuce leaves already had mushy spots. The fried potatoes with bacon were good and came as a shared portion for the schnitzel and fish. Neither in between nor at the end were we asked whether everything was OK or whether we enjoyed it. We sat in the 'winter garden'. At the beginning we were offered that the heater could be switched on. After a while we wanted to accept the offer. However, even after asking three times, the spotlight was only switched on when we had finished eating. In short: we won't go here again.

The first impression of the staff and ambience is excellent. The food is an absolute delight for the palate. A small point of criticism is the lack of cutlery for the main course. The view of the Baltic Sea from our table was unique.

Filou has been a destination for delicious food for years. Dogs are very welcome. Even after the change of ownership, we think the selection of food and drinks is excellent. Pork medallions are no longer available, but there are many other delicious dishes

Although there were few guests in the restaurant, we waited 50 minutes for the food (plaice) with a small child. The plaice tasted very good, the side dish (small salad) was more than poor. Lemon had to be requested. Price-performance wasn't right.

We were there with 2 people and a dog. I have to say it was great. We were received very nicely. Our waitress brought us to the table in the winter garden (super nice in the beach chair with a view of the sea). The atmosphere was great. The food was super tasty and the price was right. We had asparagus and Holsteiner schnitzel. And for dessert, panna cotta with strawberry mousse. A very special thank you to our waitress Georgina. And our dog was also very welcome here. We can only recommend the Filou.

Good mood at the counter! The staff is fine and helpful, although not 100% dedicated to serving guests. - The salmon on leaf spinach on April 21, 2024 was a complete disappointment. At first the salmon was inedible because it was still almost raw, but then a replacement salmon was available. The spinach was over-seasoned and the fried potatoes were warmed up from the day before. The dish for almost €30.00 - it could be better! I would start with the kitchen staff. Unfortunately, there are currently only a few alternatives, but Filou should not take advantage of its good location in this way.

The food was cold and the price/performance ratio wasn't right at all. The service was nice. But that's not enough.

We were there with a larger group. Unfortunately the food was mixed for the price range. Asparagus tasteless, head hard, the stalk soft (frozen or just heated from the day before), pale, tasteless potatoes (probably just warmed up from the day before. Hollandiase sauce bottled 1:1 from the package (could have been refined with a little butter). Rump steak well-done, not Seasoned. Pizza and sour meat were okay. Less is more would be the concept that would work better here, as the map is already quite large, but unfortunately the quality probably suffers as a result.

I haven't eaten so well in a long time. It was a very spontaneous visit to this restaurant, but everything was really right! Price/performance and location. The waiters were nice and everything went according to time. Happy to come back!

Today we had suckling pig from the rotisserie. The piglet was very tasty, but the coleslaw lacked some kick or spice. All in all it was a nice evening. If the service had been a little more on point, they could have probably sold us two or three more beers.

We have been guests at Filou off and on for 15 years, because of the unbeatable beautiful view. The food was always good but now with the new concept + ambience and our new owners it is simply outstanding. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. My husband and I really enjoyed the evening and especially the food.  The ox cheeks made my husband rave again, very tender, the fried potatoes were very tasty. I enjoyed the Saltimbocca Chicken Parma Linguine with a Pinot Gris. Everything is very harmonious and very delicate. Our plates were eaten to the last morsel, so the cheeky seagull had no chance of catching such a delicious treat when it landed on our table.🤣. For dessert I had hot ice cream to finish. Very happy about such a great evening with such a beautiful view, coupled with a super excellent menu, we went to our campsite nearby and will definitely be back very soon.

Arriving at 8:35 p.m., the staff has difficulty welcoming you and must inquire in the kitchen before accepting you, and then you have to hurry to place an order, so why mention 9 p.m. on Google, the pizza is poorly cooked, bland and tasteless, ordinary cordon bleu served with frozen vegetables. For us it will be the first and last time in this restaurant. There are more welcoming and better quality restaurants nearby. That being said, the sea view is nice but that's all.

We go to Schönberg quite often for a short vacation, so at least one visit to Filou is a must. Very friendly staff, great ambience and above-average food 🙃 Our dog is also always welcome there 🫶 Definitely recommended!!!!!

We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and shown to our table. A reservation is an advantage. The rooms are tastefully furnished and lovingly decorated. You immediately feel at home here. This was my third time in Schönberg and every time we come over for dinner. The ambience is great, the food is tasty and the waiter (Rusty?) creates a feel-good atmosphere with his nice and funny manner. A very friendly and competent service. The food is really excellent and absolutely recommended! Be sure to try the ox cheeks if you like meat. Otherwise there is also a sensational vegetarian pizza with vegetables, a treat!

We spontaneously went to the restaurant with two people and three dogs. That wasn't a problem at all, quite the opposite! We like going here. There is delicious food here and a great view outside, but also inside. There are beautiful drawings on the walls that captivate you. There are also great Nordic sayings here: “The wine is so dry, it collects dust as soon as you pour it”. The conditions are simply a highlight for me. I can only recommend one visit to everyone.

We had a great spot on the terrace with a direct sea view. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we found the prices reasonable. We were extremely impressed by the very attentive and friendly service from all of the employees. Really great. You didn't have to ask anything, it was always offered by the waitress. There was a lady sitting at the next table with tons of special requests, all of which were responded to in a friendly manner. We will be back!

Unfortunately, really, really bad service. We had reserved over a month ago. The reservation was only found after several searches... then we were ignored for 40 minutes or not served at all! We were only noticed after repeated references from other guests... Unfortunately, the service staff was hopelessly overwhelmed. Not recommendable!

We were there on Easter Sunday. The restaurant is extremely full, but if you reserve in advance, no problem. It's Easter after all. Let's get to the staff... Due to the fact that it's really true, I have to say the staff was or is extremely friendly and super animated... Simply top! I would also like the 6 star for that! Now the food... 5 stars without any problems, super tasty and good portions! All in all, a great recommendation! But remember to make reservations for Easter! Thanks for the great hospitality! On March 12th, 2023 we went to Filou for a birthday brunch - the preparatory planning with the chef and the boss was great. - They took a lot of time, the chef Stefan always had exceptionally creative ideas. - On the day itself the table was beautifully set, there were pretty menus on the table with the planned menu sequence. - the service was more than accommodating, and the chef and manager always took care of things - from home-baked bread, to fish and cheese platters, sausage and ham, the first course was plenty - after a short break, pasta nests and a homemade eggplant casserole followed... super tasty - as a dessert, the crowning glory is the wonderful panna cotta - an all-round successful event - ... and then a stimulating walk on the beach - absolutely recommended, we always enjoy staying at Filou THANK YOU SO MUCH to the Filou team Doris Kukwa & Jan Henning

Service was great, atmosphere was a bit loud, but it was okay and the selection of food was sufficient. My only idea was to offer more side dishes such as fries instead of just fried potatoes. Otherwise it tasted delicious and I can recommend the homemade lemonades. Also great sea views included🌊
