Unfortunately I can't say anything about it because the landlord is already taking a winter break.

The kitchen can be highly praised and would have been a reason to come back. The innkeeper/waiter, who constantly complains about the staff situation in the kitchen and even forgets that customers want to pay (after the second request it went quickly) spoke against this and we were said goodbye at 8 p.m. with "have a nice lunch" 🤔

Very tasty food at a fair price

Unfriendly service (owner), argues in front of all guests. Is not satisfied with his situation. At 7:15 p.m. there was no more fish to eat. Everything is always deselected to “no staff”. If you tried to find staff you would definitely get some. This visit was a failure.

The food selection was very clear but tasted good. Unfortunately, no chance without reservations. Owner very moody because there is no staff.

It's a shame that what I'll remember here isn't the really, really delicious food, but rather the incredibly dissatisfied host (owner?). Constantly complains about the lack of staff and the tourists who dare to come to the restaurant without prior reservation. I can understand it, we would do it next time too, but not anymore if you feel so completely unwelcome

North German cuisine. The boss is also North German and it shows. Food is delicious and portions are large. It's a shame that the vegetables and the hollandaise sauce are frozen. Schnitzel could also be frozen. Nevertheless, you can eat delicious food there.

Hard to beat in terms of unfriendliness. If you want to make a reservation for six people, this is not possible for several days. Not even in advance. When you make visual contact, you react in an unfriendly manner and point to a "closed today" sign, even though it should actually be open and you just wanted to ask briefly whether a reservation, which you should make, would be possible. Honestly, there are so many other restaurants where the food tastes good and you are treated kindly. In addition, it doesn't smell good there in warm weather because there is probably some kind of septic tank or something similar diagonally opposite the toilet blocks.

The food was quickly at the table and the side dishes were fresh and tasty, the ambience needed a little attention 😉

Very nice atmosphere. The two of us sat in a beach chair, which was very well maintained. The food was great and came quite quickly despite having staff in the kitchen. The boss is very friendly and doesn't mind a conversation or a short chat. The amber beer, which the boss personally created, was super tasty. Thank you for this lovely evening.

What a disappointment! Today we ordered a table for 4 adults and 2 children at short notice, which was also confirmed, but unfortunately we were 5 minutes late and were immediately attacked. We even persuaded two adults to come to the restaurant “as an apology”, but apparently there weren’t enough free seats on site. Everything was free - tables could have been put together without any problem. The argument “only 1 person in the kitchen” is ok, but threatening us in front of all guests with a 1 1/2 hour wait and literally blaming us for the delay of a missing table is outrageous and no service at all. We went. I can't rate the food, but at first glance the value for money and the offering were good. Thanks for the nothing. A pity. The sales went elsewhere, where we were welcomed in a friendly manner and at short notice.

Like every year it was great, unfortunately the cod fillet in an egg shell is no longer on the menu. We will be back definitely.

A must for us on every beach vacation in California. Delicious food and very friendly service who takes the time to have a nice conversation. It was a pleasure.... P.S. The Störtebeker has to be back on the map, he was the lonely leader.

The currywurst with a fruity component in the sauce is highly recommended, the flamed salmon with side dishes, if available, is also recommended. The Bernstein Schöneberg beer rounds off the visit.

Small cozy outdoor area. Very quick and friendly service. Nice host who knows his craft. We had currywurst and the schnitzel baked with tomato and cheese and a side salad. The salad was crisp and fresh with a delicious dressing. The fries that came with both dishes were excellent. The homemade pepper curry sauce with a subtle level of spiciness was just as delicious. The schnitzel was juicy with a crispy breading. An all-round successful evening in a beautiful northern German atmosphere. Here we go again.

Every year anew. We love this restaurant. Great service, very nice staff, the two ladies always had a smile on their faces, very polite and attentive and of course the boss too! The food is good German cuisine, very tasty and large portions. Fish eaters are also catered for. We will be back . Achtern Diek is part of a California vacation.

Simply a must if you are a guest in California

You can always go here with peace of mind. No schi-schi on the plate, decent portions at normal prices. From shrimp pans to classic currywurst, there is something for everyone.

We just wanted to eat something, it was just 7:45 p.m. The innkeeper said "There's nothing left today!" He's allowed to, but when asked "Where else can we go" the answer is "I don't know" luckily Google knows better! Ended up at Sapore. Great food and service

Small restaurant. More attractive outside than inside. Delicious home cooking, more than sufficient portions and reasonable price.

Food was again very good, staff very friendly and attentive.

We only went to eat ice cream at the ice cream factory. Super nice ice cream seller. You can taste this good quality. Little selection, but great. Always happy to come to the second row.

The portions are large and almost too much. The quality of the fish was good. However, the side dishes and the salad were rather ready out of the bag... that's why only 3 stars because the prices are quite steep.

The experiences of the last few years have been confirmed again, it tastes very good here. So far we can recommend the fish duo with fresh salad, herring fillet, farmer's breakfast, schnitzel with mushrooms. Even the hungriest will be full here. Friendly service, we'll come back in the summer and try out the small but fine offering. In any case, reserve in advance.

Good morning The landlord and his team are simply great. I gradually ate my way through the memory card and everything I ordered was just great. Always consistent and good quality, super tasty 😋. His Friday menus such as suckling pig and salmon are also great. Word gets around about the good food, so you should reserve a table to avoid being turned away. I've been there numerous times to eat for snacks or just to drink. Everything fits. Delicious food & drinks, the “boss” is great at explaining, lovely person. If I were to be in my beloved California more often, I would say "Achter'n Diek" over and over again :-) Until next time & thank you.

haben mit 5Personen dort zu Abend gegessen. Netter Service , kalte Getränke und sehr schmackhafter Fisch. Schnitzel war auch nicht zu verachten außerdem war das Sauerfleisch eine gewaltige Portion kommen nächstes Jahr wieder 😋

Spontan einen Tisch bekommen, okay wir haben ne Stunde gewartet (aber am Strand beim Wellenrauschen). Das Essen und der Service waren spitze. Im nächsten Urlaub kommen wir sicher wieder.

Wahnsinnig lecker, netter und schneller Service 😍 Leider kurze Öffnungszeiten, weil Mitarbeiter gesucht werden. Reservierung unbedingt notwendig. Für eine Person findet sich sicher immer noch ein Platz, aber nicht für Gruppen. Ich konnte an einem Freitag für 4 Personen um 15Uhr30 für 16Uhr30 reservieren. In der Hauptsaison werden da leider viele Kunden wieder weg geschickt. Preis-Leistung passt 😍 die Kids hatten Schnitzel mit Pommes und Fischnuggets, ich selbst Dorsch 😍 alles super lecker und frisch zubereitet ☺️ ... der Dorsch war mit 24€ etwas teurer, aber es lohnt sich und ich war pappensatt 😍 die Kinderportionen lagen bei knapp 8€ und haben ebenfalls gereicht ☺️

Essen war Top! Service naja für einen Urlaubsort erwarte ich mehr,mir fehlte die lockerheit.Der Außenbereich war sehr schön innen ein kleiner Sitzbereich aber sehr vollgestellt!Kann man hingehen geht aber besser.

Super leckeres Essen. Kurze Öffnungszeiten, dementsprechend schnell voll. Am besten vorher reservieren. Bedienung ist sehr bemüht, der Besitzer ist locker und freundlich.

Waren letzte Woche dort essen. Seeehr zu empfehlen. Der Besitzer ist ein Unikat und das Essen ist super-lecker und die Getränke-Karte lässt keinen Wunsch offen.

Sehr netter Service. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und kommt schnell. Das Restaurant ist nahegelegen am Meer und sehr gut zu erreichen.

Wir haben sehr lecker gegessen und Gottseidank vorher telefonisch reserviert… Preis-Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung, Hunde sind willkommen, das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Allerdings haben wir auch Situationen beobachtet, die einigen 1*-Bewertungen hier nahe kommen. Auch ist es uns nicht gelungen, eine weitere Reservierung für zwei Tage später vorzunehmen. Insgesamt aber eine Empfehlung wegen des guten Essens.

Immer wenn wir hier Urlaub machen ist das unsere erste Adresse um lecker Fisch zu essen! Immer lecker und vorallem der Nachtisch ist gut (Schnäpschen) ,riesen Auswahl

Niedliche, eingerichtete Familien Restaurant und Eisdiele auf der anderen Seite des Hauses. Im Restaurant bekamen wir nur noch Getränke, da die Küche um 20 Uhr schließt. Der Kellner /Besitzer unterhielt sich nett am Ende, erklärte uns wie schwer es ist Personal zu finden. Die Eisdiele ist echt super gut, das selbstgemachte Eis total lecker!! Sogar Zimt Eis und viele andere Sorten, bin begeistert.Nette Bedingung, Preis und Leistung stimmen. Kann ich gern weiter empfehlen...

Sehr gemütlicher Biergarten. Bei gutem Wetter windgeschützt draußen gegessen. Fischgerichte sind sehr zu empfehlen. Ebenfalls das Klabautermann Schnitzel. Und....endlich mal ein bunter Salat mit hausgemachten sehr leckerem Dressing. Da geht man gerne ein zweites Mal hin. 😉

Das Restaurant ist sehr gut ,selten so gut gegessen. Die Portionen sind sehr üppig
