Restaurant Fessner in Bad Kreuznach

Had delicious schnitzels here. With excellent fried potatoes. The prices are more than reasonable. The service was friendly and relaxed. The atmosphere and decoration are reminiscent of the past. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Friendly service, good food like grandma used to eat, very tasty and well prepared. You can always hear how the schnitzels are being made.

Quaint little hotel restaurant in the heart of Bad Kreuznach. The decor and the owner are a bit dated, but that's precisely what adds to the special charm of this place. Delicious food - we'll be back again and again.

Our family has known Gasthaus Fessner for ages, and whenever I go there, I feel like I'm back in my childhood. The food is always freshly prepared and tastes just like mom's. The dated interior doesn't bother me at all; quite the opposite; it simply adds a rustic touch. All in all, a top spot for German cuisine. We'll be back 😊

So, I was there today. I was thrilled and can only agree with the positive comments of the other visitors. I had veal steak with mushrooms, fries, a great salad, and a beer. All for just 18 euros. The somewhat older ambiance doesn't bother me; that's precisely what makes the place so endearing. The owner is truly calm, but that doesn't mean you have to wait long. So, I'll be back.

The pizzas were different... the dough was way too thin!! BUT, they both looked the same. Upon closer inspection, we recognized the one with Gondozola! Both pizzas... were overcooked!! A bit burnt! We were there on a Wednesday, and the place was... only occupied by us... Question: How could a pizza burn?? OUTSIDE AREA... a table covered in such a puddle of water...?? Not exactly inviting!! I had an unexpected visit... I actually recommended this place as superb, as I knew it... I was disappointed... but unfortunately, hunger left our plates empty, after other similar disappointments.

Went there for the first time as part of our visit to the Kreuznacher Therme. Very nice owner and super good food. Rump steak to perfection and world-class fried potatoes. Prices very humane. We'll come back next time in Bad Kreuznach.

Inconspicuous from the outside, the ambience on the inside is simple - BUT the boss serves with great composure and is very nice!! And the food that is served is simply GREAT! And the bill is reasonable and will be paid happily. Booking a table is an advantage!

Richtig gute alte Hausmannskost. Sehr leckeres Essen,freundliche Bedienung und familiäre Atmosphäre.Hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben,aber muss so sein. Einfach nur weiter zu empfehlen!

Bin immer wieder zufrieden Alles gut

Urtümliches und gutbürgerliches Lokal in Bad Kreuznacher, seit mehreren Generationen familiengeführt. Leider gibt es keine Parkplätze, da die Stadt Parkplatzsuche den große Schwierigkeiten macht. Es gibt richtig gute deutsche Küche, sehr gut. Abwandlungen oder Sonderwünsche werden wenn machbar gerne erfüllt. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl im Fessner, weil auch die Bedienung familiär ist. Die Preise sind günstig und angesichts der sehr guten Qualität hat das Fessner ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Seit vielen Jahren kommen wir zum Fessner und können das Lokal unbedingt empfehlen.

Ein Traum, Essen wie von Oma früher, jederzeit gerne wieder.

Kleines uriges Lokal. Meistens Stammgäste. Der Wirt bedient selbst. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist gut und reichlich. Alles in Allem ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Gehen gern wieder hin.

Sehr lecker! Freitags mittags gibt's Fisch , ohne Reservierung gibt's selten Platz! Sonntags immer 2 Tagesessen , der absolute Hammer!

Ein Lokal mit dem Charme der alten Zeit. Hier wird man nicht auf Leute treffen die ständig auf ihr Smartphone schauen. Die Tische sind wie in den 60ern mit Tischdeckchen gedeckt und man fühlt sich in der Einrichtung in die alte Zeit zurück versetzt (ich mag das sehr!). Alles ist sauber und man wird freundlich bedient. Essen und dessen Preis/Leistung sind gut. An Freitagen gibt es dort angeblich Fisch und es ist ratsam im voraus zu reservieren da dieser Tag sehr beliebt ist.

Hausmannskost.....da hört man noch wie die Schnitzel in der Küche bearbeitet werden alles frisch und sehr lecker von den Rouladen...selbst gefüllt kann man nicht genug bekommen . Wer einmal dort war geht immer wieder Essen. Gruß Conny
