There is no star, when two people wanted lunch, we were told directly that we had to make a reservation, where the customers sitting at the tables were surprised that we had to make a reservation, the service person said she would ask in the kitchen whether it was possible we can eat. She came back with the statement that they had too many orders and reservations even in the afternoon, they were only buying for the quantity, so we have to leave again. When I asked: "Is it not possible to get something to eat for two people?" The answer was no and goodbye. I think after that kind of service, I wouldn't visit again nor recommend it.

So I'm still amazed by the rump steak I had for lunch today. There was no need for a knife, the meat was so tender and fried exactly as I wanted it. Great friendly service rounds the whole thing off. Any time

So families with children are always welcome ❤️ best food ever, price-performance ratio top as well as the service and friendliness We as a family of 4 were able to visit the Pfingstwiese restaurant at any time and can therefore not understand the recent response at all.

For a special request for a reservation on the so-called "Fair Thursday" I was informed that families with children were not welcome, only companies were allowed to make reservations. It was expressly pointed out that reservations would only be made without children on that day and we could only try it spontaneously if we were lucky. I find this regulation quite outrageous. It is unacceptable to so blatantly discriminate against families with children. As a parent, this makes me feel excluded and unwanted, even though we just want to enjoy a nice evening. A restaurant should be a place where all guests feel comfortable, regardless of whether they come with or without children. It is a shame that the “Gaststätte zur Pfingstwiese” selects its customers with such a discriminatory practice. Despite the high quality of the food, I will avoid the restaurant in the future and cannot recommend it to families. Good service and hospitality should be available to all guests apply equally.

Great schnitzel platter for a pleasant price

Went there for dinner yesterday. I don't understand the many top reviews, but luckily tastes differ. The atmosphere is quaint but ok. The service was quick and very friendly. The food, oh dear. Fries, salad, everything was delicious. The schnitzels were clearly frozen and apparently baked in the deep fryer and later in the pan. The breading was pressed to the meat, no air bubbles underneath like you would expect from a fresh schnitzel. It was all soaked with cheap grease. It's a shame, I had heard so many positive things but that's not true in any way.

I stopped by with a friend because of the good review of the restaurant. Unfortunately, I can't understand the rating. The schnitzels were disappointingly small and the texture suggested they were molded meat. The sauce also had a consistently smooth consistency and a taste that was reminiscent of Tetrapak products, although the parsley thrown over the plate couldn't change that. Everything we got was edible, but if you're looking for the freshness and depth of flavor you expect from homemade schnitzels & sauces, you won't find it here. === Addendum: I just received an answer to my review, quote: "If you have no idea, you should modestly keep your mouth shut." (exact copy of the answer, should the owner edit or delete his). If this is the best argument against my review, I must have hit the mark.

Just wow! I usually never finish the side salad; there has to be room for the schnitzel, which, by the way, is a poem here. Conclusion: The side salad was empty and I struggled with the hollondaise schnitzel with croquettes. Simply delicious!

Delicious to die for. Our first time, so we tried half the kitchen with the schnitzel platter for 2. 1 schnitzel each with Hollendaise, onion, Jäger, & pepper. One tastier than the other. And the price is very reasonable. We'll come back again and again.

Wir waren am 22. und 24. September hier essen. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und die Portionen groß, dazu ein sehr guter Preis! Die Bedienung - an einem Tag Maria und am Sonntag wahrscheinlich ihre Tochter(?) - war nett und freundlich. Das Essen ließ auch nicht lange auf sich warten. Wir haben versprochen, dass wir nächstes Jahr, wenn wir wieder dort Urlaub machen, auch wieder zum Essen kommen.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe während des Jahrmarkts dort Essen. Das Essen war nicht so berauschend, Schnitzelfleisch war ok, allerdings war die Panade des Schnitzels nicht so, wie es sein sollte. Die Panade war nicht kroß und klebte an dem Schnitzel. Zwischen dem Schnitzel und der Panade sollte Luft sein und die Panade schön kroß gebacken. Die Rumpsteaks hatten alle verschiedenen Garstufen, von "Medium/Done" bis "Very well Done". Die soßen waren auch nicht so der Brüller, ob das selbstgemachte Soßen waren oder nicht, kann ich nicht sagen, aber geschmacklich deutete vieles auf Fertigsoßen hin, oder zusätze wie Soßenbinder. Die Pommes waren gut. Aber bei 35° Celsius wurde Salat mit Jogurtsoße serviert bei dem die Soße auch schon etwas warm war. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und bediente gut und schnell. Leider wurden die Essen über einen Zeitraum von ca 1 Stunde ausgegeben, sodass teilweise die Ersten fertig waren mit Essen und viele noch nichts bekommen haben. Das Ambiente ist rustikal, aber sauber und ordentlich.

Ich würde gerne mehr sterne vergeben aber leider nicht möglich.👍👍👍 😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩

Bestes Schnitzel in Bad Kreuznach

Heute mein bestes Schnitzel seit Ewigkeiten gegessen! Und wir essen oft in gehobener Küche.Klasse weiter so wir kommen wieder !!!!!

Wenn wir mit dem Rad unterwegs sind, ist unser Endziel am Freitag immer das Restaurant von Maria. Nachdem wir uns das erste JEVER gegönnt haben, essen wir meistens die absolut guten Schnitzel....aber auch das Rumpsteak,das ist gut abgehangen ist und immer auf den Punkt gebraten. Alleine die herzliche Bedienung durch Maria macht uns immer sehr viel Freude und sie ist immer gut gelaunt. Preise der Speisen sind absolut moderat und für meinen Vorkritiker: das ist kein Sternetempel, aber die Schnitzel werden frisch in der Pfanne gebraten.

Fertig Schnitzel in der Pfanne warm gemacht. Pommes schmecken nach nichts. Den Salat den man dabei bekommt besteht aus einer Scheibe Gurke /Tomate paar Bohnen und Feldsalat. Bedingung stellt das Essen einfach auf den Tisch und sag Schnitzel ist da und geht. Preise für so ein Fertig essen viel zu hoch. Auf 2 mal Schnitzel Wiener Art haben wir 30min gewartet.

Sehr nette Bedienung, schnelle Zubereitung und preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Sehr gemütlich. Hatte lange kein so gutes Schnitzel.

Doch nicht nur die Schnitzel sind erstklassig, auch die anderen Speisen locken mich hin und wieder auf die Pfingswiese. In einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre wird man durch die freundliche Bedienung bestens versorgt.

Hier gibt es die besten Schnitzel in der Stadt. Immer nett und rustikal. Fühlen uns sehr sehr wohl. Preis\leistung ist super. Der letzte Stern wird nur nicht vergeben, da die Auswahl nicht zu groß ist. Gehen aber immer gern da essen.

Das Rumpsteak war einfach sehr, sehr lecker. Gemütliche Atmosphäre! Super Bedienung. Ein wesentlicher Vorteil sind die unzähligen kostenfreien Parkplätze.

Für Vielesser mit wenig Anspruch eine gute Adresse. Vielleicht sind wir ja auch nur zu verwöhnt. Wir kochen zu Hause halt mit frischen Zutaten (Champignons, Speck, Paprika, etc.) in der Soße und selbst gekochten Fond, ohne Fertigpülverchen. Auch unsere Salat-Dressings bereiten wir selbst zu. Die Schnitzel erinnerten an Formfleischschnitzel aus der Frittenbude. Die sind auch immer in gleichbleibender Qualität, da kann man nichts falsch machen. Pommes waren knusprig frittiert und der Salat frisch. Wir zahlen nächstes mal lieber wieder etwas mehr für einen wirklich leidenschaftlichen Koch. Ein Schnitzel mit Pommes zum mitnehmen zuzubereiten war der Küche auch nicht möglich (Reste einpacken ging aber) und wir mussten noch anderswo Halt machen um einem kranken Familienmitglied etwas zum essen zu besorgen. Zumindest die Bedienung war nett und auf Draht. Hätten gerne mal irgendwann das Steak probiert, dies scheitert leider an der unflexiblen Küche. C`est la vie.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Sowohl das Schnitzel als auch das Rumsteak waren Spitze.Beim Salat gibt es aber noch Luft nach oben. Die Bedienung freundlich und schnell.

Wir waren das erste mal dort und es wahr fantastisch,die Schnitzel butter zart,die Pommes kross und der Salat einfach klasse. Der Espresso und das Glas Wein zum Abschluss war die Krönung. Wer einmal etwas gutes Essen möchte,der sollte zu dieser Gaststätte fahren,der Weg lohnt sich ;).
