We ate here based on a recommendation. The restaurant is located right on the water. You can either look out over the Aller River from the inside or, if the weather's nice, sit outside, right by the Aller. It's beautiful here. The food not only looks great on the plate, it tastes excellent too. The waiters are very friendly, accommodating, and don't mind accommodating special requests. After dinner, you can also take a short stroll through the beautiful old town with its many small shops, as it's just a few minutes' walk away. We will definitely eat here again on our next visit to Celle! Thanks to the team for the lovely stay!

We've eaten here several times. Generally, the service is very friendly. The ambiance is pleasant. However, on our recent visits, we've repeatedly noticed that it's quite hectic. The waiters often loudly move tables and chairs from point A to point B – which can be quite disruptive at a birthday dinner. Instead, you could simply ask a colleague for help and resolve this more quietly. The food is of good quality and slightly above-average in price, which certainly reflects the quality. Conclusion: A good place with delicious food – with some minor drawbacks regarding the noise level.

Right from the start, we were told to be patient, as there might be a wait for the food. This was mentioned right away when we were greeted, and it was really great, and we didn't wait longer than 35 minutes for our main courses. Real respect 😎 We'd love to come back. Thank you, Divino.

We were here for the first time, traveling from the north to the south of Germany. Highly recommended. The fish, pasta, and pizza were all very good. The service was also very friendly.

There's a nice place to sit inside or outside. My meal: a salad with chicken strips was delicious.

Despite the high number of visitors, everything was perfect. The food and drinks were delicious. The outdoor ambiance is very pleasant, as you sit right by the Aller River. We only had to wait a little longer for our drinks. After a quick follow-up, however, they were brought to our table immediately, and they apologized for the long wait. However, for me, that's no reason to deduct any stars from the review.

Beautiful area with a wonderful view of the Aller River (unfortunately, the mosquitoes are very annoying). Unfortunately, as with our last visit, some of our requests were ignored and we had to wait a long time for service. The food itself was excellent.

The TOP Italian restaurant in Celle! If you like excellent Italian cuisine, THIS is the place for you! Beautiful location, great seating, and a fantastic atmosphere. In summer, you can sit on the large terrace right on the Aller River and just unwind. The service is also excellent. Very attentive, prompt, and always eager to fulfill every request. You definitely enjoy eating here! You can also get authentic spaghetti carbonara here. :) All in a very generous portion at a really fair price. We'll be happy to come back.

We invited our family to dinner in June. We had discussed the number of people (including two small children), the time, and a reduced menu with the manager well in advance, both by phone and email. When we asked if we should provide the menu, we were assured that this would be taken care of. Shortly before dinner, we updated the number of people. When we arrived, the table was initially set for far too many people. The fact that we had two small children with us was not taken into account when it came to chairs or cutlery. There were children's portions, but they were not "smaller." This wasn't a problem in principle, but it did lead to some confusion right from the start. Unfortunately, we were then handed the "normal" menus. Apparently, the communication between management and the staff was broken, which was personally annoying. We had thought about a limited menu for a few reasons, including in terms of selection and also to reduce waiting times, so that we didn't have to be there with everything until after 4 p.m. (as in this case). This led to questions and delays throughout the meal. Apologies were offered for the inconvenience. We were eventually given a few espressos "for free." To this day, however, we have not received an apology from the manager herself. This was supposed to be a special meal for us, but unfortunately, my husband and I, who were inviting the family, did not enjoy it. We personally found this very unfortunate, as we were unable to enjoy the occasion and, ultimately, the price is not insignificant. The food was beyond reproach. However, we would not invite a large family party there again.

An absolute favorite restaurant – we come here regularly and are impressed every time! The Italian food is authentic, fresh, and prepared with love. What's especially nice is that warm, fresh bread is served free of charge beforehand – a small touch that immediately puts you in a good mood. The ambiance, right on the Aller River, is stylish, cozy, and invites you to linger. Whether inside or outside, you immediately feel at home. The staff is always warm, attentive, and professional – you're recognized and welcomed, which makes the whole experience even more personal. Value for money? Simply top-notch. Absolutely fair for the quality offered. If you're looking for good Italian food in a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Enjoy a meal outside by the water

Unfortunately, we (three people) had to wait a very long time for our first order, drinks, and later for the food. The restaurant's location is exceptionally beautiful; we were able to sit outside. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the staff and shown to our table. We didn't have a reservation, but it would be recommended if you want a nice spot by the Aller River. The menu, along with bread with basil vinegar and oil, was brought very quickly. Unfortunately, we waited a very long time for our food and drinks orders. And then it took an even longer time for the drinks to arrive. The food then took another 45 minutes. The staff was nice and friendly, but very reserved and unfortunately not very attentive. The food—all three of us had pasta dishes—was bland and not well-seasoned. With two pasta dishes with garlic oil, we would have expected a certain strong note from the garlic, but it was very bland. We had to add quite a bit more seasoning. The pasta itself was al dente and very well presented. Unfortunately, we know other restaurants with better service, much more attentive staff, and delicious food (today we were at the Glashaus in Burgdorf – highly recommended!). See other review

Super delicious and authentic Italian cuisine. The taste and preparation were absolutely superb. We will definitely come back next time we visit Celle.

Good Italian food, attentive service, lots of guests for a Monday evening, great view of and over the Aller at the Pfennigbrücke in Celle.

Unreserved recommendation. Friendly, pleasant staff. Had saltimbocca with Gorgonzola sauce and tagliatelle (not like the one on the menu). No problem at all. Tagliatelle alla Casa with semolina and egg. Top quality. Plenty of veal, rather rich, with a very generous topping of Parma ham. Very large pieces of meat. Saltimboca means "jump into your mouth," but much too big for it. (If that's even a criticism.) The Gorgonzola sauce is perfect from a picante. I would have liked to give it 6 stars.

We had a table on the outdoor terrace right by the river, which was very cozy and pleasant. The food was consistently of good quality. The service was friendly, and everything was served in a reasonable time, but we had to actively ask for more drinks and dessert. When paying, we strangely had to specify what we were having. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

The location on the Aller cannot be topped. Unfortunately it was still too cold to sit outside. In addition to the usual dishes, the menu also had some unusual food to offer. Everything was very freshly prepared. The wine was excellent. You should reserve in advance.

We visited the restaurant for the first time at Easter. Since my partner has celiac disease, we announced this when booking and mentioned it again at the beginning. And it wasn't a problem. The first impression of the restaurant is very positive. Great location, nice decor, very attentive staff. The Easter menu on offer also made a very good impression. We ordered the Easter menu 4 times, once with the addition of gluten-free. The very attentive waiter repeatedly assured us that it wasn't a problem. The welcome was apparently home-baked bread with oil and salt. The bread had gluten and was very tasty. There was no gluten-free bread. The soup contained croutons - also on the 4th (gluten-free) menu plate - but was (of course) not gluten-free. It was then renewed after a complaint, but the doubt was there. The main course was delicious and didn't appear to contain any gluten. Dessert included gluten-containing pastries for all four. Unfortunately, about 1.5 hours after eating it turned out that it was definitely not gluten free. (I would like to spare the readers the details.) It doesn't matter what it was in the end, we thought it was a shame that it was like that and really have doubts as to whether it makes sense to visit again. We wrote a feedback email to the restaurant the next day, but unfortunately received no response at all. Very unfortunate. We would actually have liked to make the Divino our “regular” in Celle.

Very nice opportunity to eat well right on the Aller. We liked the pizza best (specials: ham, salami & mushrooms). The Bruschetta Pomodore could have used a little more aromatic tomatoes, the penne with truffle a little less cream and a little more truffle flavor. But all in all it was very good. The place is fantastic and the staff very attentive and friendly. Price-performance ratio appropriate

We were guests from the Osnabrück region. We really liked the friendly and attentive service without being intrusive. The food was very tasty and attractively presented. When the weather is good, the terrace directly on the water is a dream. Only recommended!

Great 3 times there was nothing to complain about

Despite many reservations, the very friendly staff still find ways to offer places.

Four of us were guests at the Divino on March 9, 2025 at 6 p.m. The service was polite, everyone made an effort to smile, but it just had the appearance of the "everyday" politeness that is shown to every guest without distinction. I would have found some commitment nicer. The starter, house-style antipasti, was perhaps a bit very simple, but OK for the price. Two small slices of ham, which was good, some vitello tonnato, which was delicious, a small piece of fried zucchini, dried tomato, mozzarella (unfortunately that cheap, firm German quality) with boring tomato and the balsamic cream from the squeeze bottle, two slices of fresh cucumber, two small fried mushrooms, ruccola, two tiny pieces of artichoke in oil, some peppers, fresh lettuce leaves, unfortunately! blackened olives, because olives of decent quality are now available, for example, cheaply at all discount stores. A little more originality would have been nice, it doesn't even have to be more expensive. The main course was pasta with truffles made from a parmesan wheel, a little bit of truffle oil, Saltimbocca a la Romana, which apparently tasted good, and a vegetarian lasagna with barely, cooked? no fresh vegetables, which disappeared a bit under German cheese. And now the highlight, the little calamaretti, which, of course, didn't come from the Aller ;-), but were grilled really well and were a joy. In our opinion, the portions are very large. The quality of some dishes could be improved, but there are real highlights. The small dessert menu, which you rarely see, was sweet. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take photos because my smartphone no longer had a battery. However, you can understand our table based on the data. The Divino in Celle is definitely recommended, both in terms of the location directly on the Aller and of course in terms of the food. A very clear recommendation for Celle! Forgot: our dog was welcome, how nice!

Found by chance! Service - fast - attentive - friendly - great! Food - quick for such excellent cuisine - taste explosion! Ambiance - cozy - modern but traditional Atmosphere - already warm with the fireplace! The only negative detail is that the entrance area smells like a toilet, that can be optimized! Looking forward to summer to eat outside! Will be our new favorite restaurant ❤️🍀

I was really surprised at how good it looks here and the ambience also fits surprisingly well. Food was okay although the portions weren't exactly large, it seemed more like it was. Service was good. Definitely worth a visit. You should definitely reserve a table on the weekend.

A nice restaurant with a great outdoor area, which is certainly busy in the summer. It's right on the Aller. Unfortunately, I had the feeling that the employees were a bit overwhelmed on Christmas Day. It would have been nice if all the glasses had already been prepared. This would have brought a little more peace. The food is well chosen in terms of variety and creativity. Unfortunately the food was only lukewarm and the risotto was still very hard. The staff were very friendly and accommodating when you asked for something. It's a great location when it's not a holiday.

For a very long time I wanted to visit this restaurant and now the time has come. It is really a beautiful place, well arranged, clean and with a pleasant atmosphere. Although our reservation for 8 was forgotten, waiter Leo found a great solution on a Friday in the run-up to Christmas (!) when the restaurant was fully booked. We sat like VIPs, ate excellently and were served quickly, very attentively and friendly. Great ambience, charming staff, top cuisine - nothing more is possible! Thanks to the team and “our” Leo🙏

One of the very best Italian restaurants I know. Ate there for the first time today: class reunion with 12 people! Very comfortable rooms and nicely decorated. Table was reserved. Big praise to the kitchen, which prepared our large orders quickly and was served smoothly by the wait staff. This is a real masterpiece. I had veal with mushrooms in white wine sauce. 😋👍... DIVINO is highly recommended and I will stop here with my family: probably in December. That was a very successful 4.5 hour evening!

Great restaurant, best Italian in Celle!

The ambience is very discreet and stylish, but if a larger event is taking place, it can of course get very loud. The service is professional and friendly. There is fine Italian cuisine of really excellent quality in large portions. The food was a treat for the palate, it was a real pleasure to eat!

Yesterday again in the Divino and again very satisfied. It took a bit of time as the restaurant was busy. But the venison ragout with mashed potatoes and fresh truffles - a dream

Huge selection, meat dishes very good. Tomato soup was delicious, tasted like fresh tomatoes, without a lot of shish, just right. 😉 Pizza "Rucola" was well-intentioned, but unfortunately there was far too much Parma ham and rocket on it. It would taste more like a pizza bianco.

No reservations and plenty of space in the restaurant. Food was great, service was also very attentive. I can only give my recommendation and we have a new favorite restaurant.

I love this restaurant, for me it is one of the best in Celle. The tartufo risotto is one of the best I’ve ever eaten! The service is always a 10, the atmosphere always has a good atmosphere and energy. I highly recommend it.

We were there on a Saturday at 6 p.m. I had truffle risotto with beef ragout, which was delicious. The tables were a bit close together, which was a bit of a shame because you could hardly hear your own words over the loud conversations of the other guests. But I would definitely come back wanting to try other dishes. You get fresh bread from the house in advance, and there is olive oil on the table, which also tastes particularly good.

We were at Divino on a Sunday around 6 p.m. and had booked the table a few days before. reserved. The restaurant wasn't that busy yet, so we could choose whether we wanted to dine inside or outside on the Aller. We decided to go outside because we had our furry friends with us again. - as other guests do... We were served quickly and friendly, the drinks and food also came very quickly. The lamb was completely tender, as it should be and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy and everything was very tasty. This wasn't our first visit to Divino and it won't be our last visit either. Keep it up!👍

One of my absolute favorite restaurants. I've been going there for years and am always very satisfied. The employees are very nice and accommodating. The food is always very fresh, very tasty and prepared to perfection. In summer you can also sit outside on the Aller.

The biggest asset of the place is the river. You sit there and enjoy the quiet but lovely scenery. The service is kind and businesslike. Dishes are very tasty. The waiters leave you so you may have the desired time of romance or thinking time or fun time with your company. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Celle to visit.

Unfortunately, when the weather is super sunny, there is no service outside on the grounds that it is cold... today it was a sunny 24 degrees.

This is a wonderful restaurant in one of the coziest cities in Lower Saxony. I visited this restaurant more than once when I was in Celle and each time left with the good feeling of a successful evening. The Mediterranean cuisine in the restaurant is delicious. All the dishes I ordered were prepared according to the best traditions of Italian cuisine. The waiters are polite, nice and attentive. I would also like to highlight the charming atmosphere in the restaurant, which changes depending on the season but remains pleasant. In summer you can enjoy the sunsets on the river bank and in winter you can spend time in an artfully decorated room. Divino can truly be considered a landmark of the city.

You are simply ignored as a guest here. Tables that arrived after us were brought forward, even the order was taken at the neighboring table and we were ignored!!! The service seemed overwhelmed with allocating tables and entertaining guests. Bad service 👎🏻

The chicken salad was extremely sandy. Even after the complaint, the grinding between the teeth was only slightly better. No seasoned marinade. And they also charge €16.00 for that. After dinner, my companion asked for the menu again to order dessert. The card came and then no one else. Even one star is too many for both the food and the service. Although the location is really nice, this restaurant won't see me again.
