Restaurant Delphi in Bad Reichenhall

Good lunch, friendly and fast service. What more could you want?

Whenever my wife and I are in Bad Reichenhall, we go to this Greek restaurant. The food is always delicious, and the staff is always friendly and very accommodating. This time we went for lunch because the price for lunch is unbeatable at €13. You get an ouzo before the meal, a main course with salad, and a delicious dessert to finish. I'm already looking forward to our next visit to Dephi.

We spontaneously visited Delphi. And we didn't regret it! Very good food, with excellent quality! Very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere on the terrace. The appetizer salad has a delicious coleslaw center. We'd love to come back again if we're in the area.

The food was okay, the starter was actually really good – up until that point, we were quite satisfied. Unfortunately, the service and drinks were anything but perfect. The drinks only arrived after a long wait, and the beer and wine weren't properly chilled. Empty glasses were left standing, and new ones were simply brought in. After the starter, we waited a long time for the next course – a very long time. Guests who arrived significantly after us received their main courses while we were still waiting. At one point, an older gentleman, presumably the chef, came over and asked in surprise if we had even ordered a main course. After we confirmed that we had done so some time ago, he left – and returned shortly after with a single dish and two plates. When I told him that we had each ordered a main course, he disappeared again. In the end, my partner got his first, and I got mine about 15 minutes later – by which time he was almost finished. The waiter later apologized, saying he must have misheard. What I found particularly disappointing was that when I paid, everything was still charged as normal, as if nothing had happened. Mistakes happen – no question – but a small token of reparation would have been appropriate. Unfortunately, the impression remains that this place is primarily catering to tourists. As a local, you certainly don't feel particularly welcome.

A great Greek restaurant with a huge selection of dishes, and the food tasted excellent. A skewered meat with large chunks, juicy and tender. Chicken with Metaxa sauce had a delicate flavor, again tender meat that melted in your mouth. Friendly service, a comfortable atmosphere with a slight Greek flair, not overstated or kitschy. A definite recommendation!

Super friendly staff and enough time to eat comfortably. Nice atmosphere. Saganaki was great... fillet plate unfortunately not that great. Chicken didn't taste good and the salad was poorly seasoned by the dressing. Otherwise good restaurant. Unfortunately also quite expensive...large portions, but quality would be more important to me

Guys, one of the best Greek places we've ever eaten in. (And we eat out a lot) Of course I'm writing this with reservations, because after all, tastes are different. But absolutely outstanding for our taste. Grilled pepperoni...amazing! The grilled octopus...fantastic. And the rest was also absolutely above average and very good! In addition, a very nicely decorated restaurant and good service! Costs a little more than the "average Greek" but the quality and taste make up for it.

I chose it because it had good ratings after searching on Google Maps. The view from the front of the restaurant building was pretty and there were a lot of customers so it looked like a good restaurant. My child really wanted to eat seafood, so I ordered grilled seafood for two and grilled octopus. The whole family was satisfied. It's fresh and delicious. The liver is also correct. I like it because it’s not salty.

I liked the food, it was quite good. There were some struggles with the English language, also with the comments from the waiter about the amount of food we are ordering... Yes, we eat a lot, haha... But what got me confused is the "treats" from the restaurant. It is very sweet and kind of them to offer a dessert for free, and it was amazingly delicious, but why gifting alcohol to people who ordered Sprite? :) didn't want to seem ungrateful, but was confused.

This restaurant is not recommended. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time!!

We haven't had such good Greek food in a long time. The quality of the meat was very good and it was seasoned great too. You can't complain about anything. The service was very friendly and the location was nice. We would be happy to come back here on our next visit to Bad Reichenhall.

Yesterday we were at the Greek Delphi, in Bad Reichenhall. The service was simply great 😃. The food was super delicious 😋😋😋. The portions were gigantic and the price-performance ratio was very good. Anytime again, I'm from Straubing. And would go there again at any time. Is addictive 😋.

Super great restaurant and the food was super tasty and fresh. The service was excellent! We got ouzo twice on the house. Salad was fresh and the dressing was very tasty. The portions were typically Greek generous for the price. I can really recommend it.

Yes I can...... Portions huge but very good Octopus absolutely top rump steak perfectly fried and very good quality. I would like both the portion size and the price level to be adjusted slightly downwards. We were offered to take the rest home with us (which we took advantage of) but we go to a restaurant to have a nice three-course meal and not to eat the same thing again the next day. Yes, of course we also got the ouzo and then a small dessert on the house.

I can absolutely recommend this place. I have tested all the well-known restaurants and this one is one of the best. From service to ambience to food, everything was perfect. I would say you can't get more from a Delphi restaurant. As a customer, you are king here, as it should be if you run a good, well-known store.

Not just very, very good, but also very plentiful. (Like the Greeks 30 years ago;-) Service: Fantastic! One of the best restaurants I have visited in recent years. It's a bit of a shame that I'm so far away.

The friendliness of the staff and the service leave everything familiar behind. The house invites you to ouzo as “chairete” at the beginning and coffee as “kali nychta” at the end. In between, a lot of attention, good food in portions to keep you hungry and another ouzo to digest. Prices fair, atmosphere good. Happy is anyone who travels without a car. 😉

In einem Restaurant geht es ums Essen. ergo soll diesem mein erster Blick gehören. Und wie bei griechischen Restaurants üblich, gibt es eine sehr üppige Karte die auch viele Mixplatten bereit hält. Wer Berge von Fleisch will, der wird hier sicher fündig. Und für wen der Schnapps beim Griechen dazu gehört: er kommt gleich am Anfang an den Tisch. Sogar eine kleine Nachspeise geht aufs Haus. Ich hätte mir aber gewünscht, dass es eine kleinere und statt dessen feinere Portion gewesen wäre. Aber, und da komme ich zum Gesamteindruck, das Restaurant scheint in erster Linie auf Masse ausgerichtet zu sein. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr schnell (wenn auch nicht die freundlichsten) und entsprechend kommtbwenig Gemütlichkeit auf.

Had to take back my good rating. The quality of the food has declined significantly and the service was worlds better under the previous owner. I was very disappointed. I'll try it again and report back if it improves, but it's not getting any better at the moment.

We were looking for something tasty for dinner and found this restaurant online. We were greeted very friendly and sat at a table with our child. The food was prepared quickly, very tasty, beautifully presented and there was also a salad with the meat. We were also treated to schnapps which was lovely. At the end of dinner they brought us some more schnapps and also gave the child some sweets. Such a wonderful attitude simply leaves the best impression.

The food was good in terms of taste and quality, but I think it was way too expensive. We were here at lunchtime and around 2 p.m. we realized that we should actually leave the restaurant soon. Coffee was offered very reluctantly.

Unfortunately, the lunch specials have experienced a disproportionate price increase compared to the competition Unfortunately, even at dinner the price went up and the quality went down. Side dish: cold rice, vegetables from the frozen bag. Gyros not fresh and dry.

The food tastes good, especially the tzatziki and the pita with garlic. The cellars are polite and attentive. At the end you get a small bottle of Greek wine as a gift!

We felt very comfortable in the Delphi restaurant. The service was friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. We had a warm Greek starter that tasted very good. The main course was lamb chops with Greek potatoes, beans and tsasiki and a plaice fillet with rice and salad. The portions were so big that we had trouble finishing. The Delphi is picturesquely located in the old town of Bad Reichenhall and is absolutely recommended.

Schönes Restaurant mit Sitzplätzen innen und außen. Große Speisekarte mit vielen griechischen Gerichten. Preise der Gerichte sind deutlich überzogen. Dies ist das teuerste griechische Restaurant das wir kennen. Wir werden zukünftig wo anders zum Essen gehen.

A very nice restaurant, unfortunately my meat was very bacony (which I asked if there was no bacon on it) And the tzatziki had zero flavor, no grated cucumber in it (which I've never had) and unfortunately the famous garlic was missing. I know not everyone likes it...for me it's included. All in all nice, although it was noisier due to the size of the restaurant, but you could still have a conversation. Child seats available

We go to the Salzburg area very often. In any case, it is always worth visiting a spa town with this best restaurant in town. Those who like tasty meat salads and other Greek dishes will never be disappointed here.

We were there three days ago. We and another guest were each offered a table. These were cleaned and we sat down. A menu was brought about 30 minutes after we asked for it, which we then shared with the person sitting next to us because they didn't bring it to him. After waiting another 15 minutes for the waiter, we left. Absolutely bad service even though the restaurant wasn't fully booked!

Were on Tuesday August 27th. Food and my wife felt bad for 3 days after the gyros in Metaxa sauce. It's a shame about the 3 days of vacation.

Vi fik stedet anbefalet af værten hvor vi boede, vi kom ind fra gaden og fik et rigtig godt bord, drikke kommer ret hurtigt og bestiller man en ret med salat, kommer der også hurtigt en stor tallerken salat, det er super god mad og der er rigeligt, går man sulten derfra så er det fordi man spiser rigtig meget. Som det er i de Græske restauranter vi har besøgt får man også her et lille glas, men da vi ikke drikker det takkede vi nej, sammen regningen fik vi hver en lille skål med budding og en lille flaske vin.

Greek cuisine without deception, honest and perfectly prepared. The place is huge, but in the summer the terrace is the favorite place for customers to enjoy their food. The service is attentive and, from what I could deduce, the most normal thing is that there is a surprise, courtesy of the restaurant, which pleasantly surprises and confirms the impression that you have chosen the right place to eat.

An sich schön aufgebautes und freundlich wirkendes Restaurant mit netten Personal. Doch leider hat das Essen enttäuscht! Kalte Pommes, Fleisch zäh, teuer, Vorspeise kam erst mit zum Hauptgang obwohl ausdrücklich erwähnt worden war das dieses vorher kommt, Lange Zeit gewartet. Allgemein zu teuer und nicht lohnbar hierfür

Leider Mangelhaft! Pommes kalt und Vorspeise wurde nicht vorher serviert sondern erst mit dem Hauptgang, obwohl extra erwähnt worden ist das diese vor dem Hauptgang serviert wird. Leider enttäuschend. Allgemein teurer als gedacht und für das Geld nicht wert.
