We went to the mountain restaurant for a sundowner on Thursday evening. It was perfect. The view and the location were amazing. The host was just cool and the small talk was really fun. The menu was terrific. Absolute recommendation also in terms of price-performance ratio. Absolute recommendation.

Very nice, good food every time

We were there on Saturday, August 31st. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food as we only had something to drink. Ambience: well, you have a great view if you get a seat by the window. Otherwise, the building is nothing special and is definitely getting old. It doesn't look like anything has been renovated there. But something like that is also a matter of taste. About the service: I have never seen such a bored, unmotivated service in my life. The bosses should have a conversation here! The waitresses apparently can't divide themselves into areas, or there is no teamwork. Or was it two new conditions, but I don't let two new ones work together!? At this point I want to say that there was nothing going on. The tables were not cleared, even when new people were already sitting there and the order was taken. No hello, no please or thank you. One star here because she at least wished the blonde waitress a nice day when we left and can do the math. Considering that everything is very expensive, I would also like great service. Belongs to it. The rest can still be so good if the service can't do anything or doesn't want to. It's all a shame!

We ordered beef soup and pork schnitzel with fries, but I've never eaten something so oversalted. The atmosphere is excellent, a rather long wait of approx. 30 minutes for the daily menu and another good while for the dessert of approx. another 25 minutes, which we ordered right at the beginning, although the restaurant was half empty. The dessert, a semi-liquid chocolate brownie with ice cream, was delicious.

Very nicely decorated, delicious cake nicely presented, good coffee and friendly service, which could have been a little more attentive. The restaurant was empty (1 hour before closing time) and no one came to collect. The music that played for us didn't fit the ambience at all (Thrift Shop by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis; TiKToK Mixed by Kesha) It was probably more to the taste of the young waitress. The restaurant management should pay attention to appropriate music, as music has a great influence on human well-being and thus the overall impression. For example, I could easily imagine music from the 50s and 60s.

Unfortunately, the food didn't really impress us. My spinach dumplings were drowned in way too much butter (for my taste). The Hugo was way too sweet and my friend got the wrong food anyway. (Ordered fillet, got whole fish) Our waitress was unmotivated and totally listless. We really liked the great view and the cozy atmosphere.

Beautiful easy hike and wonderful panoramas to enjoy from the restaurant and terrace. The team tried very hard and the food was excellent. Price/performance is 🔝

Beautiful restaurant with historical charm.The view is spectacular. The landlord is super friendly, attentive and nice. You shouldn't miss the Kaiserschmarrn. A dream for the palate and soul. I wanted the recipe and was taken to the kitchen where the chef Peter explained the recipe to me in detail. I was able to write everything down and will definitely try it out soon. Very special thanks to the chef Peter, who took the time for me despite a lot of work and unbelievable heat in the kitchen. By the way: we also had a fried chicken salad, which also tasted wonderful. If you want to eat well, you shouldn't miss this restaurant.

Unbeatable. Be sure to book the sundowner. Don't forget the ascent and descent. An incredible, unforgettable experience. It costs money. Yes,! But it's worth every cent. We enjoyed every minute. Service, food, ambience... simply perfect. I would like to give more stars.

Went there today with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared and wonderfully presented. The fried chicken was by far the best thing I have ever eaten and I have already tried a few different fried chicken. The salad was amazing, I'm not usually a salad fan but it was a work of art! Lava cake with apricots and ice cream is also great! Here you can tell that cooking is done with love! Last but not least, a huge compliment to the gentleman who served us. I don't think I've ever experienced such friendly service in a restaurant. 10/10 for this restaurant I would come back anytime!!

You should experience the mountain restaurant Pfarrstuhl. The young innkeepers really want to build something new in the mountain restaurant and it shows. The evening dinner with the view into the distance was a dream, I can't get enough of it. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's worth every cent. Keep it up, I'd love to come back up to you.

An absolute recommendation is a visit to the Pfarrstuhl in conjunction with the 4-course evening menu in the mountain restaurant every Friday! A culinary highlight that is second to none. And for a great price! The friendly staff is always ready for a nice chat. We'd love to come back!

Delicious food. Fantastic view.

We had booked the Prosecco breakfast, the quality of the food was good and plentiful, but the ambience and service were on the level of a train station restaurant, the cleaning man was diligently wiping around the tables at the beginning, no background music, food was just left there, zero ambience, for us the last time, especially too expensive (2 people with cable car and parking 143 euros)

We had beef broth and crumb cake. Everything is very tasty and, above all, definitely homemade and affordable. Service staff very nice. Ambience very nice.

Even the train ride was nice. The conductor from Vogtland is from the Erzgebirge. Very friendly staff in the gondola and in the restaurant. The food was very good. You get a refund for the parking fee if you take the train.

Was closed despite the holiday season and weekends.

Dinner on Friday evening is simply amazing! You gave us a fantastic evening. The gondola ride and the service in the restaurant were first class. Thank you for everything!

The Kaiserschmarrn was so caramelized that half the plate was left with a sugar crust and we were sick. Unfortunately, the boss reacted very disinterestedly and lost us as future visitors.

Top cuisine and great service in a historic atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!!

The view and the ride on the cable cars are great. The restaurant, however, does not. After ordering the drinks, the wrong one came, the buffet was a straight 6 and I can't even begin to talk about the service. I have never experienced such an unfriendly service person. Especially since the buffet was suddenly €2.50 more expensive per person when paying, as announced at the beginning! You won't see us in this restaurant again!

Very nice atmosphere, great view from the covered terrace. Unfortunately, everything that was positive there was wiped out. The young African waitress was the worst service there is/was in my opinion. There was only a buffet to eat today... it was already very empty, so there's no way to refill it? The waitress doesn't know how to say hello either and makes a face...she could scare everyone away with that look. At the end the buffet happened to be more expensive than at the beginning 🤷‍♀️... There were no tips...just not deserved. If we visit the Pfarrstuhl again, it won't be in this restaurant.

We recently wanted to end our tour on the Pfarrstuhl comfortably with coffee and cake in the wonderfully located mountain restaurant. Or so we thought. Unfortunately, as soon as you enter, an unmotivated and annoyed service staff clearly shows you that you are anything but welcome. Even the basic phrases of politeness were to be found here in vain. The location, which is actually so beautiful, is completely ruined by the frosty atmosphere. We decided not to have the cake and just stayed for a coffee. At some point it was slammed onto our table without a word. My espresso was served in a normal coffee cup, but half of it spilled onto the saucer - I have no idea how you do that. The coffee wasn't any better either - it was already ice cold. When paying we gave almost a 20% tip in cash, even here there was no emotion, no friendly look, let alone a thank you. At first we just thought that this one employee was either having a bad day or was generally unmotivated, but we were proven wrong: As we were leaving, we were able to see how other guests were treated - including the appearance of the boss and clearly audible gossip from the service staff about the other guests. The location and the wonderful view are really great, but that alone isn't enough when the rest is such a terrible experience.

After a “winter hike” we were looking forward to some hot chocolate. The service person was bored, no greeting, no smile... It dampened our mood a bit. We were the only guests. It's sad when you're disturbed by guests while you're doing nothing 🤦.

Actually a nice restaurant (nice location, comfortably furnished). What completely destroys the ambience, however, is the treatment of the guests. The food is nothing special and completely overpriced and I would prefer not to give any stars for the service. The waitress obviously didn't want her job. Whatever she made the guests feel. So if I sucked up like that at my job, I would get into trouble with my boss. Here, on the other hand, the boss is just as into it. Obviously complains about the guests and (like her employee) makes no effort to be at all friendly. I was horrified.

Nice location and nothing more, to put it briefly. The waitress was as unfriendly as I have ever experienced. She rolled her eyes the whole time she took the order. She simply slammed the drinks onto the table without a word, and half of my coffee was already spilled. Her colleague wasn't any better either. Complained about the guests all the time and made stupid comments. I thought I did not hear right. We actually wanted to order more, but then left it and left as quickly as possible.

Restaurant with a great view and very tasty Kaiserschmarrn, but unfortunately the waitress had a very bad day. Our coffee order, which she took boredly, seemed to be too much for her. Milk with coffee was only available after repeated orders or requests. There wasn't a friendly word or a smile from her. Sorry, but if I don't feel like working in the restaurant, I should leave it alone!! We were supposed to buy tickets for the descent from her and even though she didn't even bring our coffee order to the table, she told us the train's departure times in about 15 minutes. Again, in a harsh tone! Sorry, but that's not possible! Not even that a colleague is obviously making fun of me!!

A really nice place. Unfortunately, the food is tourist goods and so the whole thing is more suitable for a coffee. But what will remain in your memory is the service. From the waitresses to the boss, there is a cemetery atmosphere. The way the guests are addressed is really rude - I was shocked at how unfriendly someone in the restaurant industry can actually be. The attention is not there. The only consolation was that at least all the guests were treated equally badly. And it was at least an interesting group experience to see how united all the guests around us were, appalled at how they were being treated here.

Price includes cable car up and down and brunch. Relaxed. Good food.

I have NEVER seen a waitress as unfriendly as the young African woman in my entire life. No hello, no thanks, no please, no goodbye, makes a face like 7 days of rainy weather, basically kills you with her look. When paying I put money plus a tip on the table, wanted to go to the toilet and was barked at from the side: "Hello?! You still have to pay for your beer!!!??!?!?!?!" With an aggressive facial expression that I have never seen in the catering industry.

Glasses were dirty. The waitress wasn't smiling at all.

Schöne Fahrt auf den Berg die "Gondoliere" hatten vieles über die schon sehr Alten schönen Gondeln zu erzählen und machten die Fahrt zu einem sehr schönen Erlebnis.Vielen Dank dafür. Oben Erwartete uns eine Traumhafte Aussicht.. Der Brunch dann doch eher Enttäuschend, Zwar war die Auswahl Groß aber das "warme" Essen Eiskalt und Geschmacksneutral. Schade um die schönen Lebensmittel. Zumindest der Kaffee war heiß.

It was wonderful to go up and down on the oldest mountain railway, with two very funny guides, and you have a wonderful view from the mountain restaurant. If you haven't booked online beforehand, time can be a bit short

Haben uns gefreut auf ein gutes Mittagessen, der Anschlag machte uns richtig hungrig...eine desintessierte Bedienstete wies uns einen Platz an ..die Speisekarte bringend, meinte Sie, Essen gebe es keins ausser Kuchen und Kaiserschmaren...tja da sind auch die fast hundert Euro für die Bahn zu teuer..wir werden sicher nicht mehr auf den Hausberg von Bad Reichenhall fahren, so vergrault ihr eure Kundschaft.

Unfreundlichste Bedienung, die wir jemals erlebt haben! Wie man hier behandelt und angeguckt wurde, müsste man Geld wieder bekommen, anstatt Trinkgeld zu bezahlen. Hat offensichtlich ihren Job verfehlt! Ansonsten könnte es ein tolles Restaurant mit einem super Ausblick und gemütlicher Atmosphäre sein. Aufgrund der Bedienung aber leider nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Das Bergrestaurant am Predigtstuhl bietet zweifellos eine atemberaubende Aussicht und eine malerische Gondelfahrt. Der freundliche Begleiter machte die Fahrt noch angenehmer. Leider trübte das unfreundliche Personal im Restaurant und der viel zu heiße Kaffee unsere Erfahrung. Wir mussten ganze 10 Minuten warten, bis er endlich trinkbar war. Eine gemischte Erfahrung, trotz der schönen Umgebung.

Geniale Location, dieser Wintergarten auf ca. 1600 Meter Seehöhe und hoch über Bad Reichenhall. Wir buchten das Dinnerpaket, 4-Gang-Menü, Auf- und Abfahrt. Nicht billig, aber bei dem Wetter, das wir hatten, jeden Cent wert. Das Menü gibt es für alle Teilnehmer zur selben Zeit, alles bestens organisiert. Der Service ist gut, Personal sehr freundlich. Es gab wahlweise Fisch oder Fleisch als Hauptgang. Das Essen war wirklich fein, aber den Stern Abzug gibt die Fleischportion, die ich für einen Gruss aus der Küche hielt. Außerdem vermisse ich bei einem Dinner dieser Klasse die alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung jenseits von Apfel- oder Johannisbeerschorle.

Das Ambiente würde mal als Nostalgisch bezeichnen. Etwas älter aber in Schuss. Das Essen war super. Der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Schöner Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen

Es war heute ein toller Tag. Wetter hervorragend und die Auffahrt einmalig mit weiter Sicht. In die Bergstation mit Restaurant sind wir auf dem Rückweg eingekehrt um bis zur Abfahrt die Wartezeit zu verkürzen und die tolle Aussicht zu genießen. Das Ambiente der Einrichtung sehr urig und gemütlich. Die Seilbahn ist die älteste der Welt von 1928 also sind viele Einrichtungsgegenstände und Fotos auch schon sehr alt. Die Aussicht ist bombastisch... es gibt seitlich einen kleinen Balkon der an der Front des Wintergartens komplett entlang läuft. Wir haben die Auffahrt nicht bereut.

Bei meinem Besuch war die Glasterrasse wenig besucht. Mein Eiskaffee schmeckte sehr gut. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Der Preis war okay. Die Gaststätte hat Ruhetage. Bitte beachten!

Wer sich mal etwas besonderes gönnen möchte, sollte unbedingt hoch auf den Predigtstuhl und z. B. donnerstags den SUNDOWNER genießen. Wir haben hervorragenden Service, tolles Essen und klasse Cocktails erleben dürfen und möchten auch nochmal ein ganz großes Lob an das gesamte Service-Team aussprechen. Vielen Dank für einen wundervollen Abend! Wer in Bad Reichenhall ist, sollte sich den Predigtstuhl nicht entgehen lassen!

Wir saßen in einem Wintergarten mit nostalgischer Einrichtung bei grandioser Aussicht und genossen leckere hausgemachte Linonade.

Wir haben unsere standesamtliche Hochzeit vor Ort gehabt und einen traumhaften Tag verlebt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und erfüllt einem alle Wünsche, das Essen ist großartig und auch hier sind keine Wünsche offen geblieben. Die Gondelfahrt ist super und wird ebenfalls von sehr freundlichen Personal begleitet. Das Ambiente spricht natürlich für sich und der Ausblick ist einfach toll! Und auch wenn man nicht viel sieht, weile es wie bei uns sehr neblig war, war es trotzdem total schön und eine Mischung aus Urlaub und Hochzeit. Wir würden es jedes Mal wieder so machen und kommen gerne wieder vorbei. Vielen Dank für alles!

Für Brunch zu wenig Auswahl, nur Schinken ,Käse ,Gebäck. Rühreier,Spigeleier usw muß extra Bezahlt werden . Preis-Leistung nicht in Ordnung. Von 5 Sternen ist 1 geschmeichelt

Ein exquisites, relativ teures Restaurant mit gediegenem Ambiente Wunderschöne Aussicht

Zuerst mit der ältestesten Seilbahn der Welt hinaufgefahren. Alleine das ist schon sein Geld wert. Diese Bahn ist noch im Originalzustand. Danach ab zum Sonntsgsbrunch. Man wird richtig verwöhnt und das Essen ist reichlich und lecker. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch sehr aufmerksame und höfliche Mitarbeiter. Rundum ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Kann ich jedem empfehlen.

Einfach alles klasse. Dienstleistung wie man sich es wünscht.

Essen gut, schrecklicher Service. Essen mit zu wenig Sauce, habe Sauce nachgeordert, Kellnerin hat mit den Augen gerollt und die Sauce kam leider nie an, so dass der Rest des Essens trocken gegessen werden musste. Schade, das Essen war ansonsten sehr gut, die Kellnerin hat Ihren job aber absolut verfehlt!

Schöne alte Seilbahn. Ein Besuch lohnt sich

Wir waren am Samstag auf dem Predigtstuhl. Haben Kaffee getrunken und zu Abend gegessen. Sehr schönes speisenangebot und die Qualität ausgezeichnet. Gegen Ende zog dann leider ein kleines Unwetter auf welches die Talfahrt unmöglich machte. Wir verbrachten die nächsten Stunden im Restaurant bei Sturm und Gewitter. Sehr interessante Erfahrung. Der Service und die Arbeit aller Mitarbeiter während der Zeit war einfach grandios. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen. Ganz lieben Dank nochmal besonders an Tobias der sich selbst übertroffen hat. Conny

Wir haben unsere Bergfahrt mit der Seilbahn um 17 Uhr gebucht und die Talfahrt gegen 21 Uhr. Die Seilbahnfahrt war schon ein sehr sehenswertes Erlebnis das man sich definitiv anschauen kann. Reserviert haben wir den sundowner, der wärmstens weiterempfohlen werden kann. Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit auf dem Berg mit einem unglaublich schönen Ausblick. Das Essen sowie die Getränke und der Ausblick waren einfach wundervoll. Zusätzlich hat uns der Kellner einen unfassbar schönen Abend beschert . Immer für einen Spaß gut und einfach sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ein Abendessen können wir deshalb definitiv weiterempfehlen. Unser Highlight des Urlaubs!

I wasn’t expecting much from the "Bergrestaurant " and only came in because my sister and I were traveling through and wanted to ride the The Predigtstuhl cable car. The restaurant was at the top of the cable car ride and we had a few minutes to spare so we went inside. Once I was in the restaurant, I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!! My sister and I were greeted by Tobi who sat us down and got us drinks right away. Tobi was amazing! The entire staff was friendly, kind, and incredibly welcoming. Honestly, this place was gorgeous and the view was incredible. Seriously, if you get to meet Tobi and see this view, it’s worth every moment!!!

Man hat einen sehr schönen Blick im Restaurants mit Wintergarten. Allerdings ist der Kaiserschmarrn -zwar schön angerichtet-nicht empfehlenswert. Zu süß, zu fettig und dafür zu teuer. Schade.

Pudemos experimentar um almoço típico com muitas opções de linguiça, pão, queijo e legumes. Foi muito agradável e ainda tínhamos uma vista incrível para completar a experiência. Não fomos na época da neve, mas mesmo assim não deixou nada a desejar!

Nach dem Wandern kamen wir hungrig in der Hütten an und fanden einen freien Platz. Die Bedienung war sehr nett - die Brotzeit sehr reichlich ... Wir kommen gern wieder!
