Sehr gute bayerische Küche und auch günstig!

Heute haben wir uns nach langer Zeit endlich wieder für dieses Restaurant entschieden und waren ziemlich enttäuscht. Wir aßen Forelle zum Abendessen, die zwar gut zubereitet war, aber nichts Besonderes. Mein Partner hatte einen Burger, der zwar gut aussah, aber geschmacklich eine Enttäuschung war – das Fleisch war total durchgebraten, und die Soße bestand nur aus Mayonnaise und Ketchup, die jeglichen Geschmack überdeckten. Es gab auch nichts anderes zu riechen. Wir bekamen außerdem ein Getränk, das nach vergorenen Früchten schmeckte. Die Toiletten waren schmutzig, rochen unangenehm und waren deshalb voller Insekten. Nächstes Mal gehen wir woanders hin.

Hatte das Schnitzel Mittagsmenü, mein Partner das Menü mit Schweinebraten. Super lecker, stabiles Handwerk, volle Bäuche und glückliche Gemüter! Sehr zu empfehlen 👍

Der Service war hervorragend und das Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt.

War ein paar mal dort Esden. War alles ok. Jetzt wollte ich kurz dort zur Toilette, und...NEIN...nur wenn Sie Kunde sind und hier Essen. Damit habt Ihr 1 Kunden weniger. Wenn man nicht einmal gehen Geld auf die Toilette darf, wo man regelmäßig Essen geht, hat sich das für mich erledigt . Es geht denen anscheinend zu gut.

Leider ist das Kamei deutlich ausgedünnt und das merkt man an deutlich zurück gegangenen Besucherzahlen. Sehr enttäuschend auch die lustlos zusammengestrichene Karte. So richtig kommt keine Wohlfühlatmosphäre zustande. Das war noch 2025 anders. Auch im Freisitz nicht viel los, wo man froh war ein Plätzl am fröhlich plätschernden Bächlein zu erhaschen...jetzt ist das gut möglich...aber verweilen...?

Es ist ein schönes Lokal. Mit dem Essen waren wir nicht zufrieden. Die Leberknödelsuppe war überwürzt. Ich mag ansich würzig. Aber das war mir zu viel des Guten. Dann hatten wir noch ein Schnitzel und einen Backhendelsalat. Das Schnitzel war zäh und im Gegensatz zur Suppe so gut wie gar nicht gewürzt. Der backhendlsalat war angemacht wie ein griechischer Salat mit Oliven und Feta oder Schafskäse. Wenn ich das möchte geh ich eine Tür weiter zum Griechen und nicht in ein bayrisches Lokal. An den Backhendlstreifen war ein Gewürz dran was mir gar nicht getaugt hat. Bin mir nicht sicher aber könnte Kreuzkümmel gewesen sein. Der Kellner der freundlich war aber nur sehr gebrochen deutsch sprach, brachte erst die Suppe und ein paar Sekunden später auch schon die Hauptspeise. Auch da erwarte ich mir anderes. Ich gebe dem neuen Kammererbräu keine Überlebenschance wenn sie so weiter machen. Wir waren jedenfalls gar nicht zufrieden. Nachdem wir ansonsten in Reichenhall viele sehr gute Restaurants haben, sehe ich beim Kammererbräu keine Zukunft.

Öffnungszeiten stimmen nicht, sind umsonst dorthin gelaufen! Schade

Standen am Sonntag 15 Uhr 30 vor verschlossener Tür, ein Hinweis im Internet über die Öffnungszeiten währe währe sehr hilfreich.

Ich bin mit meiner Frau dort und wir hatten 2 x den Mittagstisch dies war Schnitzel Wiener Art (klein) das klein war doch ziemlich Groß (Oval) ca. 40 cm x 25 cm mit Pommes und ein Salat und zum schluß ein Espresso oder Schnaps und das zum Preis von 14,90 € + 1 großes Bier 0,5 l und 1 Flasche Sprudel 0,75 l. Der Gesamtpreis war 38,60 € dieser Preis ist mehr als in Ordnung. Das einzige was ich jetzt ziemlich ungewöhnlich fand ist das Preiselbeer Schälchen da hätte ich mir persönlich etwas Ketchup gewünscht. Das Essen war trotzdem wirklich lecker.

Ich hatte ein wunderbares Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen war köstlich. Das Schnitzel war perfekt knusprig. Die Atmosphäre war warm und gemütlich. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Alles war frisch und hervorragend zubereitet. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Kleine Speisekarte, aber dafür sehr lecker. Essen kam sehr zügig zum Tisch. Vernünftige Preise. Sehr, sehr freundliches und gut gelautes Personal, lädt zum wiederkommen ein. Jedem zu empfehlen!

Wir waren bei der Neueröffnung des Restaurants. Jedes Gericht wird selbst gemacht. Schnitzel mit Pommes war unglaublich köstlich, sogar die Pommes waren selbst gemacht. Die Mitarbeiter sind so herzlich und liebevoll. Es gab sogar Antipasta und Nachtisch als Geschenk zu Eröffnung. Selten so gut gegessen.

Bislang sehr gute und alteingesessene Gaststätte in Bad Reichenhall. Vor ein paar Monaten musste leider der bisherige Betreiber schließen, jedoch soll das Lokal ab Mitte Mai wieder mit einem neuen Betreiber öffnen.

Das Lokal steht sehr verlassen da, auf jeden Fall NICHT geöffnet!!!

Wir waren zu dritt essen. Zwei Schweinebraten waren sehr trocken und kaum genießbar, die Knödel hart. Der Burger unseres Sohnes war gut. Mehrere Getränke und Speisen waren leider schon aus. Der Tisch wurde erst nach Aufforderung abgeräumt. Positiv: Der Kellner war bemüht. Insgesamt dennoch nicht zu empfehlen.

We left. The two of us entered the restaurant. There was a sign on the door stating that card payments were not possible due to technical reasons. This seems to be a recurring problem. A review from a month ago already mentioned it. Inside the restaurant, we looked for a table by the door. There were three free tables. We went over, but they weren't reserved. Someone shouted something across the room. We turned to the bar. A waitress quickly approached us. She had been calling out across the restaurant. When she reached us, she asked us: "How many of you are there?" We were just the two of us, we explained. She pointed to a table under the coat rack, which was in the middle of the room. Coats were hanging over a small table with two chairs. She refused our request for a seat at one of the three free tables and insisted on the seat she had assigned us. We left. We used to frequent Kammerer, but that's no longer an option as long as hospitality is lacking and guests, even couples, are treated so dismissively. No card payments. No friendly greeting; instead, they call out to guests across the restaurant. They rudely assign us a table in a tiny space. Offering a table like that, under the coat rack, is simply unacceptable. Why would anyone want to go to this place, be treated like that, and pay for it? We can't comment on the food; it's not on par with the service. When we walked past the restaurant later, the tables were still empty.

The waitress was quite unfriendly. Perhaps because she was only serving 10 tables. Her colleague and the bartender had no idea what was going on. She tried to help, but was more of a hindrance. We ordered "Pasta Pulled Pork." This is absolute culinary schizophrenia that we're still trying to forget.

Friendly staff, delicious food, top.

It was OK. When we wanted to eat there, the band that evening was rehearsing, which was a bit annoying. But the atmosphere was nice and the food was great.

The ambiance and food were top-notch. Unfortunately, card payments weren't possible despite the EC sticker. Waitress Katrin told me very rudely and impolitely that this was posted outside. (Actually, it was on a chalkboard on the floor that I hadn't noticed.) An incredibly negative experience with this person. One can only hope that Katrin retires soon, because she shouldn't be serving guests anymore.

The liver dumplings from the soup were actually just bread cubes. The "fire toast" was garnished with a bottled cocktail sauce for barbecues... The French fries were good. All in all, tourist rip-off. What a shame.

Great location. We had pork loin with devil's toast and roast pork with dumplings. It was absolutely delicious. Absolutely fantastic value for money. Service was attentive and friendly. Excellent and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the table was in a box right next to the menu, but otherwise, there was plenty of space.

No, you can't even give the food half a star. My cheese spaetzle were a total disappointment. The food was made with discount store products that weren't even worth a euro. The behavior of the service staff also left a lot to be desired. The service staff served with a base cup on their heads. The restaurant is not recommended.

It's getting one star because the service was okay and the beer was tasty. But please don't eat there!!! We ordered meatballs with potato salad and dark beer sauce, along with a salad plate with strips of beef fillet. The strips of beef fillet were overcooked and tough, thus inedible. The meatballs were obviously not of animal origin, completely tasteless (unseasoned), and the accompanying potato salad consisted of more than 80% finely shaved cucumbers. Furthermore, the "dark beer sauce" was primarily dark, but definitely tasteless. When we then expressed our incomprehension about the quality of the food to the person in charge, we were met with a shrug and the comment, "There's nothing we can do about it." Of course, the bill was then presented in full. In Bad Reichenhall's jam-packed pedestrian zone, every restaurant was busy that evening. There was still plenty of room at Kammerer. Now I know why!

We went to Kammerer Bräu today with the rehab group for a farewell dinner. This is my third time in Bad Reichenhall for rehab and this was my first time there. The friendliness and service are particularly noteworthy. The Zwickel and Radler are delicious here! The atmosphere for locals is a dream! And now for the most important thing! The food was amazing! We were all thrilled. From the quantity to the quality, it was simply top-notch. The price-performance ratio is just right here! I'm happy to tip here because I felt so comfortable! Thank you, Kammerer team! From the food to the service, it was simply wonderful. Thank you and best regards from Aachen!

Always happy to come back for a delicious roast pork. And the service is always very friendly.

We checked the menu online beforehand. The selection was quite limited, but we were looking for a restaurant with German food. We ordered drinks, and one of us ordered beef broth with pancake strips, and both of us ordered Wiener schnitzel, which, according to the menu, would be served with fried potatoes, bacon, and onion, and "Preiselbeeren." The soup was very salty with a strange aftertaste, and the pancake strips weren't cooked properly. The worst part, however, was the main course. Two rather tasteless Wiener schnitzels, with some fried baby potatoes and bacon bits. No onion in sight. No Preiselbeeren in sight. The potatoes were dry and tasteless. When we asked where the Preiselbeeren were and if we could get some mayonnaise (for the mealy potatoes), we were told, rather unfriendly, that the Preiselbeeren wouldn't be back until later because new ones had to be made. When we asked again after fifteen minutes, we were told it would take at least another hour and a half to two hours. So definitely not with our meal. We'd lost our appetite for dessert, so we asked for the bill. With the iced tea and the Apfelschorle, we had to fork out almost €50. The online menu listed the schnitzel for €15.90, but in the restaurant it was apparently a bit more expensive. Almost €18 for a bland, tasteless schnitzel with some mealy baby potatoes, no salad, and no berry compote. A shame when your menu is online. No apology and/or discount for the lack of berry compote. The staff was disinterested. Last time we ate there. Truly terrible food, something we've never experienced in all our years in Germany. Such a shame... and they themselves write that friendliness is a lifestyle.

I had to go inside to order because the waitress hadn't been seen outside for quite some time. I waited a total of 20 minutes for a beer. I don't even want to know how long it would take if the place was full. Overall, it was disappointing.

Visited on August 12, 2025. Very well located. The waitress was stressed but super friendly. The garlic cream soup was excellent. So was the Kaiserschmarrn. Unfortunately, the roasted pancakes weren't great.

Typical Bavarian specialties. We had liver dumpling soup, currywurst with fries, and roast chicken salad. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful place, 10 out of 10, comfortable, and impeccable service. I insist that every restaurant I've been to in Germany should serve beer in ice-cold glasses so it doesn't lose its temperature. I didn't like the food very much; the side dish, which was a kind of breadcrumbs, had no taste at all. The pork was absolutely delicious, I loved it, and the sauerkraut salad was very good.

Based on the good reviews, the four of us spontaneously decided to go to this restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, the dishes we chose (schnitzel, cheese spaetzle, meatballs, currywurst) were all unsatisfactory in terms of taste, and some of the meat was still raw. Therefore, despite the generally good service and ambiance, we cannot personally recommend it.

The best pork roast, just like grandma used to make! It doesn't get any better than that!

We went to Kammerer Bräu on the recommendation of our accommodation and were very satisfied. Delicious food, the portions were just right for us. The service was very friendly and prompt. And we also really enjoyed the "Nusserl" (nuts) for dessert. We'd love to go back!

Finding a restaurant open on a Monday evening can actually be difficult in Bad Reichenhall. So we were glad that Kammerer Bräu was open. A pleasant brewery atmosphere and friendly service staff promised a successful evening. The rather limited menu then became my problem: Unfortunately, the selected dishes were already sold out, so alternatives had to be chosen. While my companion was still able to choose, I had to change my choice to a schnitzel "Vienna Style." The schnitzel was of good quality. The accompanying fried potatoes were half-jacket potatoes seared on one side with bacon... An interesting interpretation. There could have been a few more fried potatoes, though. Perhaps next time, I'll be able to get what I originally ordered.

We stopped in spontaneously and had a delicious meal. I had the ox goulash with red cabbage and a dumpling; I felt it needed a bit more sauce. They could have asked for it. All in all, it was very cozy, rustic.

We had to reschedule several times, but the friendly host was very patient with us. Friendly staff, delicious food, large portions at reasonable prices. There were six of us plus our dog, and everyone ordered a different dish, yet we all got our food at the same time. The dog was given fresh water first, which was really great. What's going on at Kammerer? We've known this Bavarian restaurant for a long time. We've always liked it, be it the ambiance, the staff, the chef, or even the food. We were always completely satisfied. But recently, we came with eight people, and despite having made a reservation in advance, they wanted to split us up between two tables, tables 2 and 6 (discussed differently over the phone). After we complained, the waitress yelled at us. Reluctantly, we were given the seats we wanted (which were free). Then the chef ran past us without saying the time of day, etc., and even made a rather stupid remark from the side! The group, who weren't familiar with this restaurant, was extremely disappointed. The food we were served was cold and not good value for money! Everyone (six people) had four thin asparagus spears on their plates. My roast pork was also only lukewarm. It was a family reunion, and we had raved about Kammerer. It was/is probably also due to a lack of staff, although I wonder where all the nice staff went and why they all left. That was a real disaster, and we will avoid this place in the future.

We were really looking forward to the restaurant, as we'd seen the ambiance from passing by. The food was poor in quality and quantity, and I'm not a gourmet who devours large portions. To top it all off, the staff yelled at us. So, unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

Completely tasteless food. The waiter loved his own rush. He ran around without any benefit. This definitely does not add to the comfort. I recommend changing the waiter and the chef. Avoid this restaurant.

Schönes modernes Lokal im Zentrum von Bad Reichenhall. Habe das Spargelgericht von der Karte gehabt. Es war hervorragend. Unterkühlte Bedienung verhindert fünften Stern. Alles in allem: absolute Empfehlung.

Rustic restaurant in the heart of Bad Reichenhall

Our main course was quite good and especially the waitress was super nice! But then I tried the Kaiserschmarrn and I'm sorry, but I was blown away by the fact that it was sold like that. I couldn't eat anything and had the whole plate go back like that and still had to pay. It certainly wasn't fresh and it certainly wasn't Kaiserschmarrn either, I don't know what was going on there. Card payment didn't work and luckily we didn't have any cash with us.

Einkehr auf dem Weg nach Salzburg. Von der Ladestation fussläufig gut zu erreichen. Küche mit angemessenen Preisen. Tolles Servicepersonal! Hatte hausgemachte große Gnocchi’s mit einer wunderbaren Tomaten-Specksosse, beim Espresso wäre noch Luft nach oben, aber ist ja auch kein Italiener! Ansonsten gerne wieder

We ate various dumplings and hulasch with dumplings and were very satisfied. We were lucky because we got there very early. Later it was very busy and people without reservations were turned away. Reservation is an advantage.

Went to the Kammerer Bräu again after a long time. Since the last change of tenant, the restaurant has developed positively again. The service was quick and attentive. The food looked good and tasted just as good. Keep it up! *** PS: The only small criticism is that the lighting was too bright for me. Dimming it a little would promote a cozy atmosphere.

The two soups, liver dumplings and pumpkin, were tasty. Then I asked if I could get half a portion of the meat patties with potato salad (price €14.80) listed on the menu. The waiter said, so a small portion. When I got the bill, I and my companion were amazed. For the small portion the waiter said, €1.50 was deducted, so I paid €13.30 for the half portion. That was definitely too much for me. The meat patties didn't even taste good and the potatoes in the potato salad were larger chunks. We will not visit this restaurant again. 3 points plus for the soups; Deduction 3 points Pricing small portion

Die telefonische Reservierung war problemlos. Schönes einladendes bayerisches Restaurant. Das Lokal war voll - freundliche Bedienungen, die aufmerksam und flott die Bestellungen entgegen nahmen und das Essen war recht schnell am Tisch. Die Teller waren vorgewärmt/heiß. Das Essen war lecker. Sehr zarter und auf den Punkt zubereiteter Hirschrücken, das Linsencurry war pikant und ein feiner Kaiserschmarrn zum Abschluss rundete das Abendessen ab.

Food is definitely recommended. Had the Bavarian tapas as a starter and the dumpling tris as a main course...it was super tasty!... I skipped dessert because... Unfortunately the service was a bit behind... the service was super charming and nice, but seemed either a bit overwhelmed or uncoordinated... I was worried that the dessert would take a long time... that's why I didn't order one. Unfortunately, as a guest I have to rate the overall impression... to my left was an older couple who wanted to pay and had to wait 10 minutes for the bill. To my right, two people came after me. They left after waiting 15 minutes because no one took the drink order... Unfortunately that's a no-go... I'm sorry... there was a table of 5 opposite me, so it took 15-20 minutes to take the food order. The indoor area was 50-60% occupied, the outdoor area was estimated at 70-80%... and I saw three conditions that also seemed to be pouring... Please don't annoy your guests and see if you can optimize it. One fixed to the bar, one for the inside, the other for the outside... or whatever... please don't be angry about the review ❤️ just want to help and the food is good, the service is generally charming, just needs some optimization ❤️
