Pizzeria La Forchetta di don Camillo in Bad Reichenhall

I don’t know who is the owner of this place, but i have never in my life experienced such an attitude to a guest. Wanted to eat smth so decided to visit that place. It was already late so i didn’t notice that u don’t take card payments. The waitress didn’t tell me about this either. When leaving they asked me to go to bankomat, but i couldn’t find one. They were angry with me although I said I am a guest. And then when they allowed me “to pay with a card”, they told me to never visit this place. Of course I will never visit it! Hope you will close as soon as possible !!!!!! Edit: I see the owner’s response below lecturing about respect. I am glad that the owner brought this up. It is very disrespectful to the honest and hardworking people of Germany to avoid paying taxes like this restaurant does as they insist customers only pay with cash. This is a very sketchy and shady business.

Menu behind 4 links and a QR code, is not an Apple Store, a picture is enough.

We hadn't been here for so long and had difficulty getting a seat in the restaurant that was packed to the brim. The people in service are super nice and we were able to order 3 excellent pizzas. We were served a perfect tonno, the crudo was also super tasty, but both pizzas were topped with seafood, which tasted like a poem. The pizzaiolo knows his business! It's super nice here, cozy atmosphere, nice people and an absolutely fair price for this quality. We'll be back!

Pizza is great. They dont make lasagne, that is a small minus but anyway 5 stars.

Nice location, delicious food and the pizzas are a good size to fill you up. The only drawback: no biscuits with the espresso! Belongs to it. But you can easily change that, so 5 well-deserved stars.

Wow, wow, wow. Pizzeria was recommended to us and we were absolutely not disappointed, our expectations were exceeded. You come into a wonderful atmosphere and very friendly service awaits you and then you also get a delicious pizza and a homemade tomato soup and canelloni, which were also homemade. We'll be back. And we were there again and will be back

Sometimes you wait a little longer, but you're happy to wait longer for these pizzas. A few of the waiters are overwhelmed while another just stands around and looks at the wall. I would still like to come back again and again.

If you love very good brushetta and crispy stone oven pizza in an Italian atmosphere, you can't miss this restaurant! Very friendly service, the food was excellent and the house wine is highly recommended. You can taste that high-quality ingredients (e.g. oils and olives) are used. Very good changing daily specials! Be sure to reserve. Cash Only!

Very good food and pleasant atmosphere!

It was pretty full and a lot of tables reserved, however they were flexible providing a table for 1.5 hours. Ok for us, although they did not offer it with a lot of “warmth”. But they made up for it, service was friendly, food is great and tasty. And quick, which is great with kids. Nice experience in the end!

Super delicious food. Even though the restaurant was very full, it was relatively quick for the food to arrive. The waiter also said in advance that it could take a good 60 minutes and the pizza would be quicker. And so we had a pizza that was one of the tastiest I've eaten so far. And I've eaten a lot of them. When we're here again, there will be pizza again.

One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Thin, crispy base, airy edge and very well topped. Extremely nice and communicative service.

I recently went to Pizzeria La Forchetta di Don Camillo with my family. The starter for 2 people was really excellent - a successful mix of various delicious antipasti that were very fresh and tasty. The pizza, however, was a bit disappointing. It was okay, but I've had better pizzas. Unfortunately it was topped with way too much cheese, which masked the taste of the other ingredients. I like cheese, but this was just too much of a good thing. The restaurant was quite busy at 6pm on a Saturday evening, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid a long wait. Overall, a solid visit, but the pizza could use some improvement.

Absolutely top 🔝 address!!! Best pizza 🍕 in a very long time. Italian cuisine and handcraft at its finest!!! Be sure to reserve a table in advance, otherwise it could be difficult. Located in a “backyard” right at the back of a church. Easy to miss, but easy to find. A “must have” in Bad Reichenhall for pizza and pasta lovers. We've been there three times in the last two weeks - simply delicious!!!

After 2 hours of waiting i had the courage to ask what happend with my order and the answer was : ,, i give you another adress to go on agresive tone". i will not recommend.

I've called at 17:55 to order some pizza, the lady said i can pick them up in 45 minutes , one hour later, when i've started to wait they started to make them. still waiting in the restaurant for them to be ready. And of course ,when i've asked them why aren't telling the real time at the phone,the "cook" became very agressive, as it is my fault for asking why isn't the pizza ready. Excellent italian service ,when your children are waiting hungry at home to eat,or if you have blood sugar problems.

Atmosphere is good, service is great, the food is amazing. The only thing I didn't like is that they ran out of burrata and it was subbed with mozzarella. Otherwise it was still delicious.

Diese Pizzeria ist kein Touristenladen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat sich viel Mühe gegeben. Das Essen war auch unfassbar gut. Man hat nach der Bestellung ca. 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet, der Laden war aber auch ausgebucht und wir eine Gruppe von über 30 Leuten. Also völlig in Ordnung! Wir wurden diesbezüglich auch schon am Telefon vorgewarnt. Man hätte evtl. öfter nach neuen Getränken fragen können, aber sonst war alles top! Gerne wieder.

Typical tourist shop, it's completely full, even though the staff can't handle it, there aren't enough chairs and we waited two hours for the food. The young lady commented on the complaints by insulting the guest; he just didn't understand it all. Tourist fodder to fill you up.

Touristenladen wird einfach voll gemacht, dann wartet man 2 Stunden und wird bei Beschwerden von der Bedienung beleidigt, da man als Gast das Prinzip der Bewirtung sowieso nicht verstehen würde. Wow, Abspeisung die man sonst nur noch selten findet.

The food was very tasty but the starter and main course took a long time to arrive. The waitress said there was a break between courses but the time was still above average. You could then only pay in cash, which is marked outside by a small sticker. In a tourist area you also expect that you can pay by card... Otherwise, load more stylishly. As long as nothing happens, we won't be coming back.

Very tasty pizza and great atmosphere. Unfortunately, service is too slow, you have to wait 15 minutes for drinks even though there is nothing going on. Unfortunately, no card payment is unacceptable in 2024.

It's honestly the best Italian restaurant I've visited apart from a vacation in Rome. The restaurant is a bit hidden, but still a REAL SECRET TIP! If you want to eat the perfect carbonara or stone oven pizza, you've come to the right place! Would give more stars if possible!

I arrived at Pizzeria La Forchetta on the recommendation of some friends! Everything superlative: location, reception, advice on the menu! We served pizza with seafood, a delicacy! Service before the dispute, we waited 2 hours for food

Extremely good food, ambience and service. Definitely the right address if you are looking for an Italian restaurant that stands out.

We were looking forward to a table on the terrace just in time for the opening time at 5:30 p.m., but were visibly annoyed and given the choice: either to leave again or to take a seat inside. The reason for this was that the terrace had not yet been prepared. Driven by hunger, we took a seat inside and were given further rude information that there was no thought of eating before 6 p.m. - for whatever reason. We swallowed that too and thought we would get through the half hour with a nice beer. As soon as the beer was ordered, we were informed that card payment was not possible. We were told whether we wanted to stay or go was our decision. Since the tone was again rude and we didn't have any cash with us anyway, we decided to leave straight away and leave the restaurant to the tourists. Despite being close to home, we won't see the restaurant again. One star for the central, beautiful location and one star for the fact that we had eaten well here in the past.

So far we have been regular customers and loved the delicious pizzas, until the last time, when we were treated so unprofessionally and unfriendlyly upon arrival, with the caption: "We don't need anything like you here, so we left the restaurant voluntarily." I've already experienced a lot, but unfortunately that was the most negative highlight... It's a shame... because up until now it had worked out for us

A nice, somewhat hidden pizzeria. When we (2 people) got there, the pizzeria was moderately busy. Nevertheless, the service already made a stressed impression. We got our drinks quickly, but unfortunately had to wait a little longer than an hour for our ordered food. The tuna pizza we ordered was perfect and really tasty. The salami pizza was ok. The salad with turkey breast strips you ordered is a matter of taste Overall ok, but the tone of the waitress towards the customers is often inappropriate and unfortunately the waiting time is too! So unfortunately I only give it 3 stars

Hello, unfortunately I can only give 4 stars. Food was excellent and extremely tasty, only good ingredients and tasted great!!! So you definitely have to eat there, but make sure you have time! Eating out should be relaxed anyway. Restaurant very busy, a lot of food goes out, so waiting times are understandable. But what I personally didn't like was the way complaints were handled, whether justified or not! Tip to the boss, even if you deliver very good quality, you shouldn't be so arrogant about guests who complain about something! Furthermore, there were many arguments between the staff, which were loudly discussed, something like that shouldn't happen in front of the guests!! Just a tip! But excellent cuisine 😋

Waiting times too long (expect over 1 hour here) even though we were alone, unfriendly service, the food was good, the wines are not good. No feeling of welcome. You can go, but you don't have to.

The food is very good, pizza and salad are great...unfortunately the waiting time is extremely long...almost 1.5 hours. The service is okay. If someone comes to eat here, you have to take a lot of time and patience when ordering food.

Both pizza and pasta taste very good. You should reserve a table as the pizzeria is busy. We ate here twice and both times card payment was not possible, although we were informed of this before ordering.

We had to wait about 15-20 minutes just for the drinks and about an hour for the food. The waitress was rude. When we asked her how long we would have to wait for our order, she made a face like someone had said something rude. Then we heard that this is not fast food and why are we even complaining 🙈. In short, the food is OK but the service is terrible. If you're not willing to wait more than an hour for your pizza, you can find a more pleasant place.

The visit to this restaurant was an absolute disaster. After waiting for over an hour, I was insulted as arrogant by the boss just because I asked about my food. When the food finally came, I found a hair in my mouth. Also, the carbonara was made with cream. An incredibly outrageous and disgusting experience. Stay away from this store!

Very nice and attentive service. We all ate pizza. These were super super delicious! I would give more than just 5 stars for that. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for dessert and they didn't have any vanilla ice cream in the house for the children. Otherwise, thumbs up!!

Very tasty food, nice atmosphere and very nice service. Pizza can only be recommended (in my opinion the best pizza I have ever eaten). One thing is that the dessert takes a long time and we therefore had to wait a long time, that's not the case so tasty, but otherwise everything is nice and in a good place where you can represent the two after eating, all in all great and you have to have this on your food list if you are nearby👌

Absolutely delicious pizzas at reasonable prices. The service is good and you can see the waitresses work very hard, especially in summer when everyone sits outside and they have to run up and down the stairs all the time. We had to wait a little while for our pizza but it was worth it. Unfortunately there was a small mix up with our take away order but we still received delicious pizzas.

The place is a complete joke . We had to wait exactly 2 hours for a pasta soak in oil !! We ordered a campari drink and we like it and we want to order more but the waitress told me they run out of campari 😃😃😃 in an Italian restaurant where the campari drink is on the menu ! Normal situation if the food is 2 hours late the owner usually offers a free dessert or the food was late should be free of charge but nit in this restaurant !!

Rarely in Germany have we eaten such good Italian food. The atmosphere in an old vault next to a church is very pleasant, and the service is very friendly.

In the restaurant we asked for our food after 1 hour 15 minutes. It should then take at least 30 more minutes because a pickup order took priority. We left very hungry and upset. We would rather forego this service in the future.

Super nice restaurant, but waiting times for food - as some others here have already commented, far too long, especially because the restaurant wasn't even half full on Friday evening. When asked how long two pizzas would take, the waitress replied: "Do you think that's too long?" Service looks different! Normal pizzas were extremely spicy, all in all it was incomprehensible. The place used to be better! Won't go there again because as far as service is concerned, the other Italian places nearby are far better!

One of the best Italians in Bad Reichenhall. The restaurant offers a special style of furnishing that you won't see anywhere else. The choice of food doesn't fail here either. The pizzas are particularly recommended here, but fish and meat are also very good. The service is top although sometimes you have to wait a while for your food.

Our go to Italian. Reservation recommended, even shortly before opening. Acoustics are better in the front room, cosier in the back. Take your pick. Pizzas excellent, house red sensible.

Ich habe zum Zweiten mal Pizzen bestellt, weil wir begeistert von der Pizza waren. Ich habe wieder lange gewartet. Ich rief um 18 uhr an, war um 19 Uhr da und bekam die Pizzen um 19.25Uhr. Zu Hause sah ich das auf meiner Pizza kein Rucula drauf war :( Sehr schade!! Langes warten und dann fehlte auch noch was!

Very nice atmosphere and cozy but far too narrow and therefore just hectic in the front area. Door open, door closed. Pick up, order… Waiting time in the restaurant is way too long. The pepperoni on the pizza was horrible! Totally stinks. Otherwise the quality of the other dishes was good.

I ate a very delicious pizza. The place was pleasant and cozy. Perhaps it is a little dark (it was overcast), which is also due to the few places with windows. So the table next to the entrance seemed the best (however, future guests passed by us).

Nach unserer Beschwerde über eine teilweise verkohlte Pizza hat uns der Wirt des Lokals verwiesen. Auch die Bedienung war nicht sonderlich freundlich. Soetwas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Wenn man im Gastgewerbe arbeitet sollte man mit Kritik von Kunden professionell umgehen können. Die werden uns nie wieder sehen.
