I have to agree with many: the food is top-quality, but the seasoning is rather muted. The ambiance (inside) is quite nice, but the service...unfortunately, unbelievably slooooow. And it was even more confusing: we had reserved by phone, but no one knew about the reservation when we arrived. Only after pointing out that I had called yesterday was the reservation confirmed. We would have liked to order dessert and more drinks, but after waiting over 1.5 hours, we had neither the time nor the inclination for a pizza. Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend it.

Went for a company dinner. The location is very central and easy to find. The food was god, the portion sized were big. As expected the food was a bit germanised version of Italian food, hence not very authentic but nevertheless delicious. The staff was kind and welcoming. Not too many English speaking staff members but they were all keen to help.

On a busy summer evening, the waiter warned us the small kitchen is overwhelmed and the food will take an hour. After 90 minutes, we had no food, most tables were already empty and all the tables who sat after us got their food. We had to inquire and it was clear they misplaced our order, but did not notice after passing our table (with seniors and kids) many times and saw we still had no food. In the end, the food was fine but not great.

We were standing at the motorhome parking space in Ladenburg, called to see if they also delivered, the man on the phone was very friendly, we ordered. Wir hatten am Sonntag am späten Nachmittag einen Tisch im Freien reserviert. Der Empfang war höflich und zuvorkommend. Die von uns bestellten Filetta alla Grilla waren zart und auf den Punkt gegart. Der Salat hatte ein feines Dressing, der Lugana Weißwein ist empfehlenswert, abschließend guter Espresso. Während und nach dem Essen wurden wir nach unserer Zufriedenheit gefragt. Wir hatten unseren Schlemmerblock dabei, der problemlos akzeptiert wurde. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We came to this restaurant by chance. We really liked it there. We were very friendly shown to our seat by the owner and our questions about the dishes were adequately answered. The steak was fried as ordered, the starter soups were fresh and tasty. The only disadvantage was that we didn't have any "room" for dessert due to the large enough portions. 😎 Conclusion: we ate well, the service was very courteous as a guest and the price-performance ratio was also right. We'd love to come back!

Direkt am schönen Marktplatz befindet sich dieses angeblich italienische Restaurant. Von außen sieht es ja ganz nett aus... Es gibt Außenplätze, doch uns ist es noch zu kühl. Also setzen wir uns hinein. Auf der Speisekarte gibt es die üblichen Klassiker, außerdem eine Speisekarte mit deren Spezialitäten. Hört sich doch erstmal gut an. Wir bestellen Sepianudeln mit Gambas und Gnocchi mit Ziegenkäse gefüllt, dazu Salbeibutter. Auch ein Beilagensalat, der aber nicht serviert wurde. Die Gnocchi sind garantiert nicht selbstgemacht worden, dafür musste der Koch eine Tüte aufreissen und erwärmen. Convenience.

I went out to eat with my wife, we ordered a vegetable lasagne and spaghetti al pescatore. The shrimp was expired and smelled bad. I called the waiter to point this out and the reply was that the fish was fresh. But everything was fresh. After that I had to change my plate, I ordered a burnt margherita pizza and very poor quality. The lasagne was with bad tomato sauce. This restaurant is Italian in name and music only. I wanted to call the police because you can't serve expired food to customers. The prices are not for this quality.

DANGER!! First, I would like to warn other users about the many very good reviews, because the majority of them are “bought” and therefore fake reviews. These can be recognized by the phrases that always sound the same. The same reviews can also be found at the owner's second restaurant (La Tana in Heidelberg). An honest innkeeper would respond to the criticisms in the reviews and strive for improvements, instead they try to straighten things out with fake reviews. Now for my review: The restaurant was busy on a Wednesday evening and we were escorted down a winding hallway to our table in the back room. Unfortunately, the first impression was somewhat marred by this. The back room was quite dark and the electrical system also has its problems (the light constantly flickers). The space here is also overwhelming. When the waitress came to take our drink order, we were greeted carelessly - "So, your drinks". Unfortunately, a friendly greeting or a proper speech are out of place here. The drinks were brought to the table with an acceptable waiting time. Same thing when ordering food, again no proper speech. The food was served quickly, but I was very disappointed. I had ordered a Pizza Diavolo, so I expected a spicy pizza. The pizza was not spicy in any way. The dough resembled a frozen pizza. The topping was sparse and I wasn't impressed with the taste either. The other guests' pizzas all looked similar, so I suspect they may have been pre-made. For what was served, the price limits were exceeded (2 drinks + pizza + tip = 28 EUR), and I wouldn't have been willing to pay any more. All in all, based on my experience, I can only give it a 2-star rating.

We ordered Pulpo, Spaghetti Vongole, Lasagna and Pizza Margherita. The food was hot, but that was the only positive thing. Pulpo and vegetables were completely over salted, Spaghetti Vongole was also over salted and so spicy that you couldn't eat them. The lasagne pasta was so soft that it almost fell apart, the dish was dripping with fat and topped with excessive amounts of cheese. The pizza was also very chewy and chewy. Everything went in the trash. An absolute disappointment. By the way, an addendum: due to the many bad reviews, the restaurant operator now seems to be trying to use Google to get a lawyer to eliminate them. I received a letter 1 year after posting the review to provide proof of having been a guest there. (which I promptly did). There was never an apology for the miserable food, no compensation. Sorry, but such poor customer service probably matches the quality.
