The portions are very generous for the price and the taste is great. Highly recommended for a party. We were there again today and weren't disappointed 👍🏻

We had made a reservation in advance, which I recommend to anyone who wants to sit in the beer garden when the weather is nice. The seating and plastic tablecloths, however, take some getting used to. The service was very friendly and attentive. The side salad was okay, but it consisted mostly of various ready-made salads and very little fresh greens. The grilled pepperoni with garlic sauce was delicious, as were the samosas—although the portion was quite small for the price. The classic "Vienna-style" pork schnitzel was the best, also in terms of value for money. We've had better Indian chicken tikka masala; the portion size, like the gyro, was rather manageable. The rump steak was cooked medium-rare, but seemed to have been hung for too long and was therefore quite tough. All in all, a rather mediocre visit. The price-performance ratio was just about acceptable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes of the food.

We always enjoy eating and drinking there. A friendly family and delicious food. Also great for groups and children, as it's located next to a sports field. The owner comes up with some great ideas. Thank you very much.

Friendly, attentive service. Good food. However, I found it odd that the Indian food was served on tin plates. It had a bit of a prison feel.

The menu doesn't contain any labeling. When I asked about gluten, I was told that the mango lassi contained milk. My mother didn't eat it, as apparently, the restaurant doesn't know what gluten is.

We had a delicious Indian meal here. The chicken tikka masala was delicious, tender, and juicy. The lentil soup, something new for me, was also excellent. The grilled pepperoni could have stayed on the grill a little longer, but they were still tasty.

No, I had reserved an adjoining room and then didn't get it

Everything was great. Great staff and very friendly. The food was something different than the usual schnitzel and fries. Great! Parking right outside, and the beer garden is a wonderful place to relax.

The food was absolutely fine, nothing fancy but very good, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. The ambiance is a bit like a sports field, but the food is definitely something you'd want to go back to.

Delicious food and friendly service

Ladenburg has a German-Indian restaurant. I didn't even know that until our daughter, after having ice cream in the old town this evening, insisted on a mango lassi. Not that we had a ripe mango and all the other ingredients at home, but it must have been a real lassi from an Indian... So, via Google and the menu we'd previously checked on Google, we ended up at the Gasthaus zum Römerstadion. Since it was already well after 9 p.m., there were no more guests – and we only ordered the mango lassi we'd previously searched for on Google. Daughter happy. And then Dad got in a bad mood when paying for the not-so-large drink (0.2 liters, the portion at our local Indian restaurant in Heppenheim is much more generous): €3.90!!! The menu on Google doesn't seem to be the one published on the restaurant's website yet. Even the €2.80 listed on Google for such a small portion didn't seem particularly cheap, but €3.90? There's also an Indian restaurant in Schriesheim that's not a club bar and boasts quite spicy prices; a decent size lassi (0.4 liters) costs €4.50 there. Conclusion: We went here twice today, once for the first time and once for the last time. Addendum June 24: Thank you for your reply. When you find a menu via Google search, you initially think you've found a current menu. And so, when we ordered, we assumed the high, but just-acceptable price of €2.80, without actually checking the price on the spot, which we certainly would have done without the prior research. Be that as it may, it doesn't change the fact that the price for a mango lassi in this club restaurant is way too high compared to the Indian restaurants we know. And frankly, when we go out for Indian food, we prefer Indians who cook exclusively Indian food. We fully understand that this is difficult to implement in a club restaurant, because customers expect pork and fries.

I was with many Indians in the region. Here only the food and the owners are Indian. The interior, decoration and service are typically German. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is okay. But it comes in a tin portion plate, like in a canteen or hospital. The selection of Indian dishes is much smaller than elsewhere. Lots of German cuisine, probably as a compromise for being a clubhouse. It's not bad there, but there are plenty of better Indians nearby.

Our favorite restaurant in Ladenburg, great fresh food and the Indian is also very fine. If you want it spicy, just let us know. Also a good location for celebrations as the rooms can be separated.

The food is rather average, service when there are a few more guests, very quiet and with a friendly smile on the face but very comfortable at work. In the upper part of the guest room you can see that some thorough cleaning could be done.

Römerstadion @ Old Town Festival: Charging 9 euros for a bit of rice with vegetables is an absolute disgrace!

Large selection, German, Indian, Greek, tastes great, large Garden terrace, very good value for money

Went there on a Saturday evening and were very disappointed because there is a large menu online that only had 2 pages that evening. We had schnitzel, they weren't fresh schnitzel, because they were all the same size as you would find in the freezer.

Unfortunately we have a total of 90 minutes! from arrival to serving the food. Inconveniences can always happen in the catering sector, but then it depends on the communication of the restaurant and here everything was simply kept quiet. No response, no transparency and no apology. Just talk to me next time! Or offer a free drink for waiting. If only the food had tasted good. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Indian here at all. And the price-performance ratio was too bad. Rice, half a can of chickpeas in a not so tasty and very simple sauce €13.90. Unfortunately, carelessly done. No small salad or various sauces or dips as you would expect from other Indians at a similar price or often cheaper. Simply too expensive! The interior is very old-fashioned, dark and no longer up to date. Sitting outside is better.

Have eaten there several times and so far everything has always been great! Price/performance is good and we always feel in good hands there. Always a nice end to a nice walk or bike ride.

The food was ready-made and not very tasty, which leads to poor value for money. The operation was new, which isn't a problem in itself, but unfortunately the service was really not good.

Unfortunately, I only found out through friends that there are German and INDIAN dishes in the Römerstadion. Google doesn't show this when searching for Indian restaurants! The food is very tasty, the innkeepers are super friendly and the atmosphere is nice. I'm looking forward to summer when you can sit outside. The prices for the main courses are sometimes a bit high, but overall you go home with drinks, starters etc. with a good price-performance ratio. The rolls as a starter are a hit! We'll be back!

Nice service, ideal for a sunny day. I had the Jägerschnitzel and was very satisfied. Be careful with the stew dishes, there is no stew in the classic sense that you can eat with a spoon, it is better to ask beforehand.

Habe noch nie so eine gute Gänsekeule gegessen, außen knusprig, innen saftig. Bei einem 7-Gansesser-Tisch mit reichlich Getränken wäre ein Absacker angebracht gewesen.

Warmes Essen war schnell zubereitet. Pilze aus der Dose.

Gutes Restaurant mit indischer und deutscher Küche. Auswahl ist gut, wobei ca. die Hälfte deutsches und die andere Hälfte indisches Essen ist. Man findet immer was passendes. Den Schärfegrad der indischen Speisen kann man wählen. Da Inder vorwiegend Vegetarier sind, ist die Auswahl in dieser Kategorie wirklich groß. Da werden wir wieder mal hingehen.

War da nur um Fussball zu schauen. Die Terrasse der Gaststätte saß voll. Lässt darauf schließen, dass das Essen lecker sein muss.

Super Location direkt am Römerstadion. Das Ambiente im Biergarten verleiht ein tolles Flair. Egal ob indisches oder deutsches Gericht - schmeckt alles ausgezeichnet und auch an den Portionsgrößen wird nicht gespart. Das Spanferkel ist ein Traum! Zu 100% emphelenswert - 5 STERNE

Great food! The menu offers both German and Indian options. This was a random pick for us but we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. The lady serving us was also very nice. We sat outdoors during a sports event, which was perfect with the kids we had with us!

Schöner Biergarten, aber das indische Essen hat uns sehr enttäuscht. Geschmacklich auf niedrigstem Niveau. Das ist nie und nimmer sein Geld wert. Mag sein, dass die Schnitzel besser sind, allein der Glaube fehlt mir. Ach ja, Rechnung zum Schluss war auch noch falsch. Wir werden nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Super leckeres, indisches Essen und für die die es eher gut bürgerlich deutsch wollen, ist die Auswahl auch gut und lecker. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und schnell, auch wenn viele Leute da sind. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten das Gorgonzola Schnitzel, 2 Schnitzel mit sehr vieler leckerer Soße dazu Pommes und Salat. Für mich hätte der Salat größer sein dürfen. Aber alles in allem waren wir zufrieden und alles war lecker. Das nächste Mal möchte ich etwas von der indischen Karte probieren....

Wir hatten letzte Woche im Gasthaus zum Römerstadion indisch gegessen und waren begeistert! Das Essen war super lecker, der Service schnell und freundlich und im Biergarten lässt es sich zur Zeit sehr schön sitzen.

Wie der Name sagt befindet sich das Restaurant direkt am Stadion. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden. Was ja sonst in Ladenburg immer anstrengend ist. Die Speisekarte bietet indische Gerichte, deutsche sowie mediterrane Gerichte an. Alles in allem sehr spannend. Der Service ist schnell und sehr freundlich. Der große Biergarten lädt auch zum gemütlichen Zusammensein in größerer Runde ein. Auch wenn man nur etwas trinken möchte ist der Ort ideal. Die Weinliste bietet für alle etwas .Das Essen war super und die Preise auch. Mein Steak war perfekt gemacht. Nächstes Mal werde ich auf alle Fälle etwas indisches probieren. Komme gerne wieder und kann das Restaurant empfehlen.

Unser Eindruck war durchweg positiv. Die Bedienung sehr nett ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Essen super, ich hab schon lange kein Rumpsteak mehr gegessen das so auf den Punkt gegart war. Respekt 👌👍

Solides Vereinsrestaurant mit einer tollen Auswahl auf der Speisekarte. Das Rumpsteak war super lecker. Auch die Bratkartoffeln waren sehr gut, insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert. Bier vom Fass. Auch vom Preis absolut top. Was will man mehr?

Die Grillplatte für zwei Personen war wirklich sehr lecker 😋und reichhaltig.Alle am Tisch haben alles aufgegessen.Wir waren eine Gruppe mit 11 Personen.Auch Getränke wurden immer nachgefragt,ob wir wünsche haben.Die Gaststube rustikal, aber sehr sauber.Wir haben uns richtig wohlgefühlt.Und Hunde 🐕 sind auch willkommen.

Das Restaurant hat ein typisches Ambiente eines Vereinsheim. Die indischen Betreiber sind sehr bemüht.Das Essen allerdings kommt aus der Verpackung. Als Vorspeise Pepperoni mit Knoblauchsoße. Die Pepperoni kalt und ertränkt in einer Knobi-Sauce von Thomy. Das Rumpsteak dünn und geschmacklich unterirdisch. 2 Getränke - Rumpsteak - Pepperoni in dieser Qualität = ca. 38 Euro. Da stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis definitiv nicht.

Wir wurden gut bedient, allerdings fand ich die Portionen für eine Sportlerkneipe bzw. Ein Vereinsheim doch eher klein - zumal es auch nicht wirklich billig war (OK teuer war es aber auch nicht). Gut geeignet für Gruppen, da Nebenzimmer vorhanden. Da die Eigentümer indischer Abstammung sind, gibt es auch indische Küche. Diese war laut Kollegen sehr zu empfehlen.

Rustikal und gemütlich. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Über Essen kann ich nur wenig sagen, da wir wegen einem anderen, traurigen Anlass , im Nebenraum, privat, hier waren.

Geschmacklich gut aber kleine Portion

Wir waren schon häufig dort essen, immer zufrieden. Beim letzten Mal aber kleine Portionen, bei 3 von 4 Gerichten wenig Fleisch und Fisch auf dem Teller. Die Beilagen machten auch nicht mehr den Eindruck von Hausgemacht wie sonst. Schade. Auf meine höfliche Kritik direkt vor Ort wurde leider nicht eingegangen.

Das Ambiente machte einen sehr gemütlichen Eindruck, die Bedienung war sehr sympathisch und freundlich. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt und es war auch preislich angebracht! Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei!

Haben Zander mit Reis und Schmorgemüse gegessen...war total fein. Die Speisekarte war reichhaltig. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Schnell ging es auch... Es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl an Getränken. Das Lokal möchten wir sehr gerne empfehlen. Weiter so!
