Restaurant Darmstädter Hof in Grebenhain

A beautifully furnished country inn with a cozy atmosphere. We had lunch here as a family. We ordered hamburger steak, chicken schnitzel, and gyros—all the dishes were perfectly prepared and very well seasoned. The friendly staff fulfilled our every wish, and even the kitchen was happy to prepare my son's meal gluten-free. The price-performance ratio is more than fair. We'd love to come back again.

The service was unfortunately somewhat clumsy and unprofessional at times. The food was rather average. Those who appreciate a rustic style in terms of cuisine and atmosphere will likely feel at home here.

Delicious food and large portions!

Schnitzel with fried potatoes. My first-year apprentices wouldn't have been able to deliver something like that. The fried potatoes were dripping with fat. The audience appeared to be a bit of an AfD clientele. They were heavily intoxicated and making right-wing remarks. I don't need it.

The Schnitzel was okay, the lemonade was too sweet, although I didn't appreciate the service, as I was almost yelled at for entering through the wrong door. It's not my favorite, which was disappointing.
