A country inn in Vogelberg. As a larger cycling group, we received excellent service. The Bermutshainer schnitzel with hop cold soup was excellent for me after a long ride.

I can recommend it without reservation. We were there last weekend with a group of about 20 people. Both the Bermuthshainer schnitzel with boiled potatoes and homemade chive sauce, and the schnitzel with hunter's sauce and fries were very good and plentiful. The side salad was fantastic, and the beef broth with marrow dumplings was nice and hearty. The rump steak and the Swabian pan were also very well received. The service was very attentive, quick, and super friendly. Thank you for a wonderful evening ❤️.

Absolutely delicious schnitzel. The dessert tasted sour, almost spoiled. After a complaint, a replacement was brought. Then we were charged twice, despite asking. That's how you lose loyal customers. No goodwill, no consideration. A real shame.

My husband has been a guest before, and today we went together on a special occasion; the service was charming, attentive, and prompt! My order was new to the kitchen in terms of my preferred cooking style (rump steak French bleu), but it was executed absolutely perfectly! It was also exquisitely seasoned, and I also thought the sweet potato fries were excellent. Nothing to complain about, and every bite was a delight! The interior is a stylish blend of German rusticity and modern simplicity. All in all: the Deutsches Haus is a well-rounded establishment, and we really enjoyed it!

Pretty salty fries and the schnitzel was very greasy and not crispy. It tasted okay and was also tender. The service felt quite stressed even though there was hardly anything going on. But you sit very comfortably and the atmosphere is right.

Stopped in spontaneously. It was quite crowded. Our order was taken relatively quickly. The “homemade” lemonade is made with syrup. What is homemade about it? €4.80 is also considerable. We had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes. When I asked, the only answer I got was that I had to see what was going on here. Not so much at 1:45 p.m. When our food arrived there was nothing to complain about. It tasted great and was enough. I can highly recommend the steak to everyone. The windows kept being tilted, which became quite cold and uncomfortable. Guests then closed it until service reopened it. Fun game. All the service staff were very nice, only the older one somehow didn't have a good day.

A nice restaurant with a beer garden. There is a small playground in the garden for the children and dogs are also welcome. I was very positively surprised by the quality and taste of the food. The impression from the outside is deceptive. There is excellent food here at a fair price.

We stayed as a New Year's Eve hiking group for 3 nights. Rooms all modernized. Ms. Däsch looked after us excellently, delicious food, service was always on hand, the glasses were filled quickly 🍺🍷🍸🍯 now we have to wait for summer to enjoy the beer garden 🍺🍺🍺

On December 27th, 2023, my husband, our border collie Elsa and I had the pleasure of having dinner at the German House. Our experience was entirely positive and I would like to share my enthusiasm. We received an extremely friendly welcome and were given a quiet place. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the attention shown to our dog Elsa - water was even provided for her. The dining experience was excellent. We ordered the roast venison, a cordon bleu and a salad. The meat was of outstanding quality and literally melted in your mouth. The side dishes were also excellent and the sauces were masterfully homemade. The family atmosphere and tried-and-tested German cuisine make the Deutsches Haus a special place. The extraordinary hospitality made our evening perfect. We are already looking forward to our next visit! In these difficult times, we wish the entire team at Deutsches Haus much success and hope that such a jewel of German gastronomy will continue to flourish.

Inn with very tasty food. Service is OK.

We were with our daughter 12 years there. There is something for everyone on the menu. We were very happy with our food, everything was very tasty and beautifully presented. We have eaten at a few restaurants in the area. The German House is our No.1 Thanks! We will be back.

We were recently guests at the Deutsches Haus and what has to be said, in terms of taste and appearance, the food is really something. Regardless of whether with or without meat, the dishes were very tasty across the board and worth another visit. What we found negative was, on the one hand, the fact that a neighboring table was served well after us and had the food well in front of us, as well as the fact that the drinks were empty before the food came and no one came to the table. Even when the food was brought, no one asked if anything else was needed. By the way, it wasn't full at that time. Nevertheless, we can only recommend a visit, it could simply have been a bad day.

Opening hours aren't even correct. Typical VB... There is nothing to eat there between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m....

Wir kamen zufällig hierher zum Essen, und durften trotz fortgeschrittener Stunde von der kompletten Karte wählen. Die Bedienung war äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Auch unser Hund war gern geschehen. Jetzt zum entscheidenden Punk: das Essen. Sehr, sehr gut. Wirklich reichlich und der Preis absolut gerechtfertigt. Eine spontane Entscheidung war noch die Crème brûlée, die wirklich den krönende Abschluss war. Sollten wir nochmal in der Gegend sein, kommen wir sicherlich wieder. Vielen Dank!

Das Essen war ausgesprochen gut. Einige Vegetarische Gerichte im Angebot. Die Bedienungen zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Außenterrasse hinter dem Haus.

Ein Lokal wo alles stimmt und man gerne einkehrt. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu "Uli und Ewald". An dieser Stelle wünschen wir den beiden alles Gute. Auch wenn die nächste Generation mehr und mehr die Verantwortung übernimmt, bleibt die Qualität auf hohem Niveau. Erstklassiger und freundlicher Service werden uns immer wieder hierher führen. Hübsches Hotelrestaurant Essen war ok Die Kräutersuppe etwas lasch, Kartoffelsuppe lecker aber man sollte aufpassen da sie sehr heiss serviert wird, bei einem schnitzel stell ich mir doch etwas mehr Panade vor und Beilagen werden alle einzeln extra berechnet. Unser Hunde waren auch willkommen und wir bekamen extra einen ruhigen Platz abseits

Unsere Bedienung war vermutlich erst frisch dabei und daher noch ein wenig unbeholfen, unserer Zufriedenheit hat das aber keinen Abbruch getan. Von klassischer deutscher Küche über sehr leckere Steaks bishin zu veganen Gerichten ist für jeden etwas Gutes zu finden, ohne dass die Karte zu überladen wirkt. Für uns als 'Städter' waren die Preise mehr als in Ordnung und die Portionen so wie Qualität top. Es gab wirklich wenig zu meckern und daher kann ich das Deutsche Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

Hier werden köstliche Gerichte serviert, Portionsgrößen sind angemessen. Schnitzel sind super!!! Allerdings muss man für alle Beilagen separat bezahlen, da wird es dann doch teurer als man es von einem Landgasthaus erwartet. Bedienung könnte mehr lächeln, wirkt leider etwas genervt und lustlos.
