Rustic atmosphere with technical know-how. 13 people with 2 dogs were welcomed without registration. We found a place and ordered food. The young, extremely friendly service staff looked after us very well. She was very friendly with the children and took them seriously. THANKS. The food, burgers, chicken gyros, venison sausage, beef liver and chicken MC nucgets arrived quite quickly. All in all, we can highly recommend it. 1 1/2 hour stay.

We ordered food based on a recommendation. Unfortunately we were seriously disappointed. I'm a cook myself and know that a schnitzel with sauce isn't rocket science. But unfortunately I had to realize that every bag of sauce is a lot better. In addition, onions were charged and were not on the schnitzel. Unfortunately it's all a disappointment. We probably won't be ordering/eating there again.

There was a lot of game to choose from. Delicious. Nice atmosphere for people who love quiet.

Nice, friendly service, you can get something warm here until the early evening, and I was able to order my food at around 12:00. Dogs are allowed. Ours were in the car today and were in the shade, there was plenty of parking on site. Nice beer garden. My wife ate my side salad.

We just stopped in for a soft drink, but it wasn't our first stop there. That's why we know that the quality of the food is very good. What was brought to the neighboring tables also looked great. The special thing about the restaurant is that, although it is an excursion restaurant, the service is extremely friendly and warm. Kudos for that! And that applies especially to SVENJA on Sunday :-).

Funny service. Bianka + Mom = very good duo. 😂 The food was phenomenal. Even the salad was something special. The boss gives information from the area and joins us at the table. Highly recommended.

Whether inside or outside, everyone will find their place to enjoy the delicious food. The waitresses are quick and always friendly. The boss cooks himself and implements requests for changes to the dishes. If time permits, he sometimes sits down at the table for a little chat. We were also in good hands at the funeral cafe and were well looked after. A big thank you again to our personal waitress Melly.

Delicious food, friendly staff and the boss cooks himself - and does it extremely well! The last time we were there was on October 3rd, 23 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. As always, we were not disappointed and felt completely at home! There are also events all year round that are also awesome! There is always a family atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service there. And special requests are taken into account - ALWAYS! We are looking forward to the next time!!!!

The only point of criticism is that the main entrance is unfortunately not barrier-free. Especially impossible for wheelchair users. Even if you might be outraged now, I'm still giving it a full 5 stars even though we were there with a wheelchair. For me this was no reason to only give 4 stars. But there is honest and constructive criticism for everyone who is interested.

We arrived last week with a large group of kids and two dogs in tow. I felt welcome from the first moment! Great service with incredibly attentive staff (kids were given games in advance, their drinks and eat first and schnitzels were even cut ❤️) The food was incredibly delicious! Visited the Gasthaus zum Vogelsberg for the first time today. The service is very courteous and attentive. The food, we had rump steak with fries and salad, was very tasty. We will definitely come back.
