Per sentirsi a casa a Monaco di Baviera, devi passare esclusivamente dal Cavaliere. Locale bello e molto accogliente, personale divinamente preparato, Davide su tutti, un ragazzo giovane ma molto preparato, cordiale e gentile. Cibo... Una delizia per tutti i palati. Da ritornarci assolutamente.

We really enjoy Dal Cavaliere. The food is very authentic and delicious. The pasta was amazing. Our service was excellent. The only draw back is the noise level can be too loud. We highly recommend this charming restaurant in a very lovely neighborhood area.

Man kann schön draußen sitzen (Reservierung angeraten!), Getränke kommen schnell, beim Essen gab es leider einiges zu bemängeln: das Kalbfleisch beim vitello tonnato war sehr zäh, kaum zu schneiden; als man den halbvollen Teller zurückgehen ließ und man das mit der Zähigkeit des Fleisches begründete, kam keine Entschuldigung, keine Entschädigung in Form eines Expressos oder sonst was. Und das bei 17. €. Bei dem Teller Bruschetta stellte man Salz, Pfeffer , Öl und Essig dazu, also würzte man kräftig. Aber das war zu viel, da die Tomaten schon gesalzen waren. Danach großer Durst ,also noch ein 2. Bier - es kamen zwei. So schnell hingestellt, dass man nicht reklamieren konnte. Am Nachbartisch fand man den Fisch alt und zäh - wieder keinerlei Reaktion. Fazit: Nettes Ambiente, für die Preise zu schlechte Qualität! Aber schöne Stoffservietten!

Pizza veramente buona, camerieri italiani gentilissimi e locale molto bellino e con tanti tavoli anche all’aperto. Prezzi in linea con quelli della città di Monaco

The food was very tasty. The service always tried to be attentive. For the slightly higher prices, I would have liked to have had a little more on my plate! An Italian gem near Munich city center. Great service. Good menu. Great cocktails and delicious food. I ordered a aperol spritz to begin the meal and it was one of the best ones ever. Then I tried their osso buco milanese which was delicious and abundant and I cleaned the plate with the bread. Great ambiance and other city close to the Rosenheimer platz. Walking distance from may hotels in the area looking forward to next visit.

What a fantastic place to enjoy Italian food! The two of us ate a salad with scallops and asparagus as a starter. For the main course there was pizza “originale” with tomatoes and mozzarella as well as the grilled plate with fish (which included: a large piece of tuna and redfish, calamari, shrimp and lots of vegetables). We rounded the whole thing off with a tiramisu. The food was excellent - everything was fried to perfection, seasoned appropriately, and presented with style. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and enjoy your meal under the thick shade of chestnut trees. The atmosphere is otherwise rather rustic (simple tables and chairs, furnishings, ...), but that shouldn't be a reason not to come here!

We had a nice girls' evening. The nice waiter and the delicious food made up for the uncomfortable chairs and the tables that were too small (there were five of us).

Excellent place for an exquisite dinner with friends. We were told about this restaurant by some local friends. This place is always full especially on weekends, we made a reservation and we will definitely return!

We've never been here before and chose Dal Cavaliere for dinner for #Bigfoot's birthday and went with the whole family. Basically, you have to say that there is a lot of movement there. There is a constant coming and going in terms of branches and waiters. As a result, the service is great. Of course, it is also correspondingly loud. We had a seat in the aisle. It's certainly more pleasant further forward or right at the back, also because of the volume. For all those who have never been there. Dal Cavaliere is, as far as we could tell, a traditional Neapolitan restaurant with delicious and hearty dishes. There are also refrigerators at the entrance where high-quality meat is stored. Our food was great. Whether it was pizza caprese, pizza bresaola, pizza originale or vitello tonnato, it was a success. And you don't have to eat the black spots on the pizza. For dessert we had ice cream or tartuffo and a serenade for the birthday boy. Wonderful! The restaurant impressed us and we can only recommend it. In summer, there is also an outdoor seating area in the pedestrian zone. Wheelchair users and disabled people also have no trouble getting into the restaurant. The only thing is really the volume, but the good food and drinks do the rest, so you'll be happy to come back again! Last but not least: the restaurant is very well located and can be reached by streetcar and S-Bahn via Rosenheimer Platz. Although the dishes are a little more expensive than at Italian restaurants in the area, they taste good and fresh and there is a large selection to choose from.

Very tasty food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere outside.

Unfortunately, the pizza was watery in the middle and simply inedible (I have no idea what the pizza maker was thinking by selling a watery pizza to customers). The noodles originally had 5 pieces of noodles in it for €16 and the plate was carelessly prepared and the meat was no longer good! Overall it was just a waste of money. I paid €40 for a meal like this. I've been to many Italian restaurants but this was definitely the worst. The waiters can't help it and were nice, but still very bad food saves your money.

I ordered a pizza with hot salami and gorgonzola, what came was a watery, soggy pizza with a slice of gorgonzola and the rest of the mozzarella with hot salami and everything was tasteless. The starter beef carpaccio was very poor with extra Ricola on top. But the crowning glory was a 0.4 liter Spezi with 5 ice cubes, i.e. there would be about 0.2 liters of Spezi in it. I find something like that outrageous, which is what I told the waiter. (He probably can't help it that his boss maximizes his profits. Sorry, you can really save yourself a place like that ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

We were immediately given a table outside and a high chair for our 1.5 year old child. Food is definitely 10/10! I have Italian roots myself and know what “real Italian cuisine” means! This is definitely 100% quality and Italian cuisine. 🫶🏼👌🏼

A very well-kept Italian restaurant in a great location. Parking is difficult, but the S-Bahn and tram are right at the door. I was here for the evening with a group. There was enough space at the table, service was attentive and quick. The menu was short and contained interesting daily specials. I shared the 1.2 kg T-Bone with colleagues... a dream.

We didn't have a reservation, but we quickly got a table for 3 people. The waiters were super attentive and friendly. It took less than 10 minutes from ordering the food to receiving it. The pizzas and pasta were perfect. Gladly again😃

The waiter who serve us was really friendy and nice. Our drink was full with ice even the outdoor temperature was only 8°C. My friend ordered pasta and it was delicious. My pizza was overbaked and a burnt in some places. The dough was really thin but the cheese topping was delicious. The restaurant athmosphere was bit dark.

All the good reviews are a mystery to me. I went there on the recommendation of a friend who said it was a true Italian restaurant. The waiter was very unsympathetic at first. He was very, very poorly understood. After I had to ask him several times what he meant, he rolled his eyes and said nothing good about us to his colleague in Italian! The pizzas came very quickly after ordering, but the taste was a flop. Not much topping, the dough was almost raw and actually just wet in the middle of the pizza, so that the topping fell off completely when you held it. I also think it smelled extremely like cigarettes where we were sitting, as if the smell had imprinted itself on the wood. The boss, when he welcomes you, you think wow, great place, because he tries very hard to make sure the customer has a good time and is very friendly all the time, but he should definitely train his employees again. Unfortunately the taste wasn't wow, so I have to say I would come back.

Food: the pizza is very tasty! We also ordered fish with vegetables (the fish was tasty, but the vegetables were fried in a pan and, in my opinion, did not go well with the fish). And squid with vegetables, vegetables didn't fit here at all. The wine is delicious. In general, we had a good evening! Stimungsvoller Ort, freundliches Personal, gemütlich. Waren am Freitag hier, haben keinen Tisch reserviert, sondern sind einfach reingegangen und haben uns gesetzt. Es gab fast keine freien Tische. Essen: Die Pizza ist sehr lecker! Wir haben auch Fisch mit Gemüse bestellt (der Fisch was lecker, aber das Gemüse war gebraten in der Pfanne und passte meiner Meinung nach nicht zum Fisch). Und Tintenfisch mit Gemüse, Gemüse passte hier überhaupt nicht. The wine is delicious. Im Großen und Ganzen hatten wir einen schönen Abend!

Very expensive, service staff comes across as very arrogant, not very friendly, neither when making reservations by telephone, giving directions or when providing service. Waiters don't know which wine is available open. Ambience rather old-fashioned to dirty. Kitchen was good, but not worth the price - not even in comparison to other restaurants in Haidhausen.

Urig. In den 70zigern irgendwie steckengeblieben. Aber das ist hier egal. Denn das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Bedienungen nett und aufmerksam. Sehr herzliche Atmosphäre. Komme gerne wieder.

1st: 5-stars Love it. Staff is typically relaxed for Haidhausen, not artificial polite but natural friendly. As a starters we had a Mozzarella & Ham plate for 4 people. I can absolutely recommend it!! The quality was what you would expect in Italy - stunning. We had vegetables (perfectly cooked!)& rabbit as well as three different tasty sour drought Pizza as main dishes. All of them were topped with delicious ingredients. Top Tiramisu! You will see us again! 2nd: 1-star Ordered here one time to enjoy a delicious meal at home. Very disappointing. Put tomate sauce just on top of the cheese instead of on the base. Also the drought of one pizza wasn't well baked. Very sad...

Wir haben aufgrund einer Empfehlung das Restaurant Dal Cavaliere besucht. Bereits beim Betreten des Lokals hat man sich sehr willkommen gefühlt, was sich mit dem sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service fortgesetzt hat. Das Essen (wir hatten Antipasti, Pasta und Desert) war ausgezeichnet. Beim nächsten München Besuch kommen wir gerne wieder.

Ganz lecker, aber hochpreisig und meiner Meinung nach etwas „überhypt“. Viele große Gruppen, dementsprechend laut ist es (und Reservierung unbedingt notwendig). Hab leider eine andere Pasta als bestellt bekommen.

Pizza Spinachi mit Gorgonzola bestellt. An Spinat wurde viel gespart. Pizza-Teig sehr dünn gewesen und matschig in der Mitte. Service war aber in Ordnung.

Servizio ottimo, cordiale ed estremamente professionale. Davide è stato bravissimo anche ad accogliere le mie critiche ad una pasta molto salata, che ha prontamente cambiato. Purtroppo era ancora salata e rispetto alle volte in cui siamo venuti di sera è stata davvero una delusione. Pasta salata a tutti (carbonara o pasta con agnello), che i bambini non hanno ovviamente gradito come noi. In bagno mancava il sapone…

Die vegane Auswahl lässt zu wünschen übrig und der Vorspeisensalat war sehr lieblos (sehr dicke Karotten- und Gurkenscheiben). Die Servicekraft war zwar sehr lustig, aber leider nicht zuverlässig. Bei der Vorspeise wurde das Brot für den kompletten Tisch vergessen, es wurde zu selten nach neuen Getränken gefragt und es hat immer sehr lange gedauert bis wir unsere Bestellung erhalten haben.

We had a great evening here at one of their outdoor tables. Their classic menu is not complicated and we decided to go for carbonara, which they stressed was made with “no sahne (cream)”. The dense, almost strong carbonara sauce is perfectly balanced with smoked guanciale. We also tried medium-rare Rib-eye which was charred to the perfection, even though a little bit slimmer than I expected, I still enjoyed it very much. This place is popular in the evenings so I’d recommend to be there early or get a reservation to be on the safe side.

Not professional, inappropriate service. All the tables were empty they could not find a place for me. I was waiting 30 minutes for nothing.

We had two different kinds of pizza, with tuna fish and with spicy salami. Both were both. The location is easy to reach and staff is very talkative.

Dass sich die Pasta-Gerichte, die wir aßen, von denen ähnlicher Ristoranti qualitativ positiv unterscheiden, kann man höchstens bezüglich der geringeren Menge bzw. Portion bestätigen. Ansonsten gilt vor allem (lauer Abend, Service im Freien in der Fußgängerzone): Die CAMERIERI Kellner scheinen mehr am SPEKTAKEL untereinander und mit den Gästen sich zu erfreuen, als an eine kompetente Bedienung zu denken (bei uns wurde sowohl ans Brot wie an den Essig beim Insalata Mista vergessen). Speisen tlw. nicht mehr ganz heiß serviert.

Die Pizza Napoletana ist ganz gut,der Teig der Belag und auch im Geschmack völlig in Ordnung. Aber die Ravioli oder die Beilagen zu Gleisch und Fischgerichte sind langweilig wenn überhaupt gewürzt und lauwarm. Die Weinauswahl ist akzeptabel und preislich okay,jedoch war der offene Rotwein einfach viel zu warm serviert worden Im gross und ganzen gibt es in München leider oder besser gesagt: „Zum Glück“ viel Konkurrenz was italienische Restaurants angeht. Ich gebe gerne 50€ mehr aus ,wenn man es in der Qualität wieder erkennt und wenn ein Kellner seinen Job etwas besser versteht 😉

Six of us stumbled across this little gem and we could not have been happier with our find! The staff were attentive and fun and the food was utterly sublime- we could not recommend this restaurant more highly.

We came in to ask for a table and were told we had to wait around 20 minutes. We said we were walking around for 20 minutes and the waiter took our name and assured to reserve a table for us as soon as the other few people waiting also had one. We came back after 20 minutes and after waiting there another 15 we realized they were sitting all people that had arrived in between. When asking for explanation and how long we were still supposed to wait, the same waiter started shouting at us that they could not foresee when people were leaving and that the waiting time was still unknown. Rarely found someone more rude. We thanked and left. Never again!
