Great atmosphere and delicious food.

I have to unfortunately leave a bad review for the first time in my life as I had found a plaster in my meal. I know mistakes can happen but this is unacceptable. The waitress apologized and I didn’t have to pay for the pizza but that will unfortunately not help my nausea from chewing a stranger’s used band-aid for lunch go away. I have been throwing up for two days now. I won’t be back but please wear gloves or at least a blue band-aid next time to prevent other customers from this experience.

Nice restaurant and very cozy, despite the size! Unfortunately, the service was really bad, no one ever came to see us, we couldn't order any more drinks, etc. Otherwise we would definitely have stayed longer, but we'll try there again at some point. There are always bad days ;)

As always, L'Osteria is a safe bet, good to very good (pizza!) food, very good service (friendly and fast) it's just a bit loud at times... Red wine selection still has room for improvement (-; but always with pleasure and the Capriciosa is really great!

The highlight is definitely the legendary pizza: huge, super thin and topped with fresh ingredients. If you like, you can also order two halves with different toppings - perfect if you can't decide! The pasta is also fresh, homemade and served in generous portions. The service is friendly, attentive and always available for a casual chat. Despite the busy times, waiting times are usually pleasantly short. The price-performance ratio is also particularly positive - you get a lot of quality for a fair price. Whether with friends, family or as a couple – L’Osteria offers an atmosphere in which you simply feel good. A real piece of Italy that leaves you wanting more! Conclusion: Delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere and a touch of dolce vita – L’Osteria is absolutely recommended!

A very tasty restaurant visit! The pizza and the side salad were very, very tasty. The service was also super nice and asked several times if everything was OK. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back :)

I have reserved a table for 10 people for today. When we ordered we had to wait over 40 minutes for our drinks. The staff was very confused, unfriendly and disorganized. We had to repeat to them what we ordered. The food was very tasty and we got large portions. In the end, what disappointed me most was the behavior of the young waiter. I tipped him as much as I wanted and as much as I thought he deserved. He was very unhappy and disappointed with my tip and asked for 10 percent of the bill, which I was surprised at. It has never happened to me that a waiter asks me for a tip in such an arrogant way. I had to explain to him that you should never ask a guest for a tip, especially if you were very rude and unfriendly to the guests. Complete rudeness and lack of culture on the part of Bedirn staff.

My previous review: "My daughter reserved a table for her birthday party. The manager, who was on duty on March 1, 2025, behaved extremely rudely and not at all customer-oriented. As it turned out, the reservation was declined late at night, around 11 p.m., but no cancellation email was received. When the invited guests arrived, a very unpleasant situation arose. Instead of finding a solution, arranging a reservation at another restaurant, or offering another option, the manager was rude and unhelpful. He ended up rudely ordering us all to leave his restaurant. This was very humiliating in front of the guests. The daughter, who had been looking forward to her birthday party, was very disappointed. I consider it extremely rude to simply throw ten guests out of a pizzeria. This negative impression affects both the manager and the person who answered the phone, as well as the entire atmosphere of the restaurant. The service is very friendly and polite. I ordered a pizza prosciutto. Attention: the size of the pizza is unbelievably huge. I guess d=40 cm / 16 inch.

We were seated right in the middle of the road, even though all the tables were free. When we asked for a different table, we were told everything was reserved! The staff were unfriendly, uninterested, and dismissive! But I do have to praise the waitress, she was nice.

Cool, modern atmosphere! Unfortunately a bit noisy, but the service was great, as was the food. You could even watch it being prepared. Waiting time was good for the fresh preparation. After our busy day we were so hungry and hungry that we immediately ordered drinks and food. We didn't have to wait long for the food, nor for the service. The girl was friendly and helpful. The pizza was delicious, but the pasta was excellent! And a big portion too! Perfect.

We celebrated March 1st's birthday on Saturday. We were 10 people with small children. We have never experienced service like this before. We were simply thrown out of the restaurant. I didn't think that was even possible in Munich.

Yesterday was my sister's birthday. She was 20 years old. They reserved a table and we all came. The admin said that he sent a “cancellation” between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. To the question: “Who am I talking to?” The manager (with glasses and a tattoo) did not want to give his first and last name. When my aunt asked to call the boss, he replied that he was the boss here. If you're the boss, I have the right to know your name, right? He said, “Stay here until 5:30 p.m. and then you have to leave.” She asked, “Should I kick the guests out at 5:30 p.m.?” He said "yes" She wanted to solve the problem, he said: “Leave my restaurant.” Of course we didn't stay there. We went to the wonderful L'Osteria on Rotkreuzplatz

Had to tip because we were yelled at. The food wasn't that good either... If the waiters don't get enough money, then the restaurant should pay more wages.

The best pizzas we have eaten in a long time. Service nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the ambience is reminiscent of a train station hall, you could really make more effort. However, the store was packed and the noise level was correspondingly high. We've learned that it's better not to go in on Friday nights anymore.

The food was ok, the waitress wanted to divide the tip herself, which we didn't allow. As a result, their friendliness disappeared and communication on their part stopped. Apparently the tip we gave her wasn't enough for her. There was no farewell or thanks at all.

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment! I ordered the Gamberetti pizza at L’Osteria Munich Schwanthalerstraße and found that it was completely dry and hard. The dough was in the oven for far too long, so the pizza was like a board. When you picked it up with two or three fingers, it didn't bend at all - that says it all. The fact that the kitchen would even send out something like that is an impudence! For €16.95 I expect a pizza that doesn't resemble plywood. Quantity seems to be more important here than quality - the main thing is that it's huge, but taste-wise it's a disappointment. For me a reason not to pay this chain another visit. What a shame!

Amazing choice for Italian in Munich Everything delicious

While traveling around Munich I came across this Italian tavern, and as an Italian I can tell you that both the location and the food are good but the thing that surpasses everyone is the service. We were served by Maddalena, a Calabrian lady who conveys the true sense of Italianness at the table: friendliness, professionalism and kindness that make you feel as if you were back in Italy.

We were there for lunch today. The food was really good 😋! I haven't had such good pasta in a long time!

It's a large place which feels crowded, industrial and noisy. The 4 of us went for lunch on a Saturday and we didn't have a reservation. There were a lot of visitors and we were offered one small table available which could accommodate only two. The pizzas were good and the waitress was nice with us.

By far the best L’Osteria in Munich! The service is great (despite not having a reservation you got a seat at 7 p.m.) and the service was super super nice. She responded perfectly to our wishes. Her name was Samra. The pizza was perfect, it couldn't have been better. Likewise the side salad. The branch is beautifully designed and is a real eye-catcher both inside and out thanks to the large window front! All in all: The best L’Osteria visit we’ve had so far :)

We were there yesterday, on a Saturday evening, at absolute rush hour, without a reservation. With little hope of getting a table, we were told that we were welcome to have a drink at the counter and that they would try to seat us as quickly as possible. That happened after less than 10 minutes. We were then served in a super friendly and very courteous manner. And yes, we also had to wait a little longer for our pizza, which was completely normal given the number of guests on a Saturday evening. Everyone wants their pizza freshly prepared, hardly anyone wants to wait. That doesn't fit!! There are other places to go for quick, low-quality food :) We felt completely at home, the food and service was fantastic and we would eat there again every time we visit Munich!!

Cenamos en L’Osteria el viernes por la noche. Normalmente, nos gusta mucho la comida, el servicio y el ambiente en L'Osteria, pero nuestra experiencia en este lugar fue muy decepcionante. Pedimos una pizza y una ensalada - la ensalada llegó después de 30 minutos, y la pizza tomó 60 minutos! El personal nos dijo que esto sucede todos los viernes, sábados y domingos por la noche porque hay muchos pedidos para llevar. Esto simplemente no es aceptable. La mesa de al lado incluso tuvo que cancelar su pedido porque la espera era demasiado larga. Desafortunadamente, no nos ofrecieron nada como compensación por el mal servicio, ¡solo la explicación de que esto sucede todos los fines de semana! Si planea visitar esta L’Osteria un fin de semana, prepárese para tiempos de espera extremadamente largos para obtener su comida!

Terrible!!!! The pizza took 1.5 hrs to arrive and it was dry and cold. The salad also came very late and the chicken was cold. We complained and nothing changed. Don’t recommend it!!!!

Right next to my hotel, Residence Inn Munich, I ordered an appetizer, thought it would be small, it wasn't, after that I couldn't manage to eat any more. It is advisable to reserve a table, no matter what time of day, as it is always very busy. On Sunday I ate a salad with baked goat cheese, walnuts, apples, beetroot with cucumbers and of course salad with a delicious dressing.

We really enjoy coming to this L'Osteria because everything is perfect here: the atmosphere, the food and, above all, the service! We've been lucky enough to be served twice by the lovely waitress Samra. Samra serves her guests in a very committed, warm and courteous manner - such great service makes customers feel very comfortable and welcome (and creates repeat visitors). Absolutely disappointing! We were a group with children and wanted to put a few tables together. The owner strictly refused and even put 'Reserved' signs on empty tables so we couldn't use them. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly. Never again!

Mixed impressions. I recommend avoiding this place unless absolutely necessary. We came on a weekday evening and stood in line. The man at the entrance quickly found a seat for everyone and distributed them throughout the large hall. Our turn reached us and we were escorted to our table. The waitress came up to us several times to order until we had ordered everything we wanted. The evening started well. Then the magic began. Dirty dishes were piling up on the table, ordering a second beer turned out to be a problem - everyone was looking at us only with their backs and the back of their heads, including our waitress. The pizza is not cut, the dough is semi-raw. The size is such that it hangs from all edges of the plate. The bill they brought us was 10 percent more: 66.4 instead of 60.4 euros. To the question “how did this happen?” the waitress told a story about Oktoberfest and how they had to pay 2 percent to the kitchen out of their own pocket. Where the remaining 8 percent goes remains a mystery to us. There is not a word about this on the menu, they don’t warn you when ordering, and there is no information on the receipt either. "Strange! When you pay by card, it’s all visible!” We paid in cash, we couldn't see it. The hall is warm and nice, the music is not blaring, the toilet is clean. Lamps above the bar in the shape of a coronavirus 🙃
