The ambiance could be a bit more cozy. During the Spring Festival, be sure to make a reservation. Magdalena, our server, was very friendly and personable, thank you very much, despite the long wait for our pizza. We weren't in a hurry :)

The food was okay; you can't go wrong with a pizza 😁 However, it took forever for us to get our pizzas. That could also be due to the delivery service coming and going, taking orders, which is just a shame for guests who want to eat in.

At first I got the wrong pasta, which in itself wouldn't be a problem, but when I got the right one you could see straight away that you had simply mixed a bit of rocket into the previous pasta and put it in another plate. I've eaten spaghetti arugula pomodori several times and I've never had a sauce like this before. We also ordered a children's pizza for our son that never arrived. The waiter never came anyway... so we called him at some point to ask what was wrong with the pizza and he was told that the pizza makers had forgotten it. I don't think it's okay to blame the pizza bakers. Unfortunately he didn't have his table on the screen because he had brought our food so he had to know that the child at the table would also get something. Oh yes, and despite empty glasses and thirst, we weren't even asked if we wanted something more to drink... unfortunately we had to call the waiter every time

The service was a disaster. From the moment we entered the restaurant the waitress was rude. She seated us at a table and we waited for probably 15 minutes, but in the end no one from the service team came to serve us, so we just got up and left.

The food was delicious and almost everything was great. Unfortunately, we only found out 40 minutes after ordering that a huge amount of pizzas had been ordered... Otherwise everything was okay.

A big L'Osteria right next to festival area. There were not enough ingredients on the pizza so I am giving four stars.

I was at L’Osteria and tried the Spaghetti Pomodorini e Rucola – and loved it! The pasta was perfectly al dente, the fruity cherry tomatoes harmonized perfectly with the fresh rocket. Overall, a light, aromatic dish that leaves you wanting more. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Gladly again!

I was at L’Osteria Schwanthalerhöhe with three children (8, 10 and 13 years old) and two other adults and wanted to sit outside on the terrace. There were clearly seats available, but the supposed manager said she couldn't organize anything outside. When I asked if she could arrange something inside, she initially said yes - but shortly afterwards nothing was possible inside either. The impression was that our children were not welcome (because they may eat less than adults) - an absolute no-go for a public restaurant. Service? Disaster. Friendliness? None. Organization? Unavailable. I will also share this experience on my Instagram channel, where I have many followers – and advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. This is not how you treat guests, especially not families.

Pizza is OK but not of the quality I would expect. In my opinion the price is too high considering the quality and the location. It's way too loud, way too chaotic. The food takes too long. Service tries hard, but it just takes too long, not only for the food to arrive, but also for the drinks to arrive and then the wrong drinks came.

We ate approx 5 times during our family vacation. With this I openly say that it was our favorite restaurant of this vacation. Impeccable service. Delicious food. Incredible atmosphere. Honestly a place to recommend and come back, even our dog received water without us asking. Thank you

They told me I couldn’t eat inside without a reservation… with plenty of one person tables widely available. Placed a to-go order and was told it would be 15-20 minutes with how busy it already was. I ended up waiting 40 minutes. They’re understaffed with the limited servers running around like crazy and they have no system for what pizzas get made first cause they just made whatever receipt was handed to them out of order. It wasn’t until other people started complaining that they finally started focusing on to-go orders and I got a fresh one made. It is genuinely a nice place on the inside and the sense of everyone having a good time was nice. However, for the price, wait time, and end product all aren’t worth it in the end. Come here with a reserved party or a date, because for what you pay for doesn’t go into the quality or service.

We were looking for a place with a terrace in view of the nice weather, with an offer of pizza, pasta and salad, and we found it. A large spacious terrace as well as an interior space. A large bar and an open area where you can see how the dishes are prepared. Friendly waiter. Excellent beer, pizza and caesar salad. Large pizza and a generous portion of salad. The price and quality are excellent. I recommend. Thank you and praise for the place. We will come back again

During our trip, we dined at this establishment on two occasions, both times for dinner. The pizzas are impressively large; on our second visit, two of us shared one and found it more than sufficient. I particularly enjoyed the salami pizza, which I found more flavorful than the prosciutto option. Our friend ordered the gnocchi and described them as good, though not extraordinary. Considering the generous portions and reasonable pricing, the overall value is commendable. The restaurant offers a pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere, making it a comfortable choice for groups and families alike.

Great ambience with super delicious food

The pizzas are very large, but there is a lack of toppings and the quality of the ingredients is not convincing. The pasta dishes contain far too much cream, which overwhelms the taste. The restaurant is extremely loud and normal conversation is hardly possible, you almost have to shout at each other. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, but the background noise was just too much for me.

Disappointing visit – unfortunately not recommended I went to the Pizzeria L’Osteria with my family and unfortunately we were very disappointed. Right from the start we had to wait a long time for our drinks - even though the restaurant wasn't particularly full. What particularly bothered us: A waiter directly asked for a tip at the end of the visit - even though the service overall was inattentive and slow. We find this kind of behavior inappropriate, especially if you're going out to dinner with the whole family and just want to have a relaxing evening. Great Italian food place, with its variety of pastas, sauces and its delicious giant-sized pizzas. German beers of typical varieties. Food and service were very good. Unfortunately, the ambience of the restaurant is lacking. Even though the restaurant was only half full, the noise level was very high. This is probably due to the bare concrete ceiling; the room acoustics suffer greatly as a result.

Excellent location in close proximity to central train station and city centre area. Good quality food, served fresh and in good portion size. Friendly stafd members and welcoming atmosphere in general. Visited twice in two days!

I have to unfortunately leave a bad review for the first time in my life as I had found a plaster in my meal. I know mistakes can happen but this is unacceptable. The waitress apologized and I didn’t have to pay for the pizza but that will unfortunately not help my nausea from chewing a stranger’s used band-aid for lunch go away. I have been throwing up for two days now. I won’t be back but please wear gloves or at least a blue band-aid next time to prevent other customers from this experience.

As always, L'Osteria is a safe bet, good to very good (pizza!) food, very good service (friendly and fast) it's just a bit loud at times... Red wine selection still has room for improvement (-; but always with pleasure and the Capriciosa is really great!

The pasta is also fresh, homemade and served in generous portions. The service is friendly, attentive and always available for a casual chat. Despite the busy times, waiting times are usually pleasantly short. The price-performance ratio is also particularly positive - you get a lot of quality for a fair price. Whether with friends, family or as a couple – L’Osteria offers an atmosphere in which you simply feel good. A real piece of Italy that leaves you wanting more! Conclusion: Delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere and a touch of dolce vita – L’Osteria is absolutely recommended!

A very tasty restaurant visit! The pizza and the side salad were very, very tasty. The service was also super nice and asked several times if everything was OK. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back :)

I have reserved a table for 10 people for today. When we ordered we had to wait over 40 minutes for our drinks. The staff was very confused, unfriendly and disorganized. We had to repeat to them what we ordered. The food was very tasty and we got large portions. In the end, what disappointed me most was the behavior of the young waiter. I tipped him as much as I wanted and as much as I thought he deserved. He was very unhappy and disappointed with my tip and asked for 10 percent of the bill, which I was surprised at. It has never happened to me that a waiter asks me for a tip in such an arrogant way. I had to explain to him that you should never ask a guest for a tip, especially if you were very rude and unfriendly to the guests. Complete rudeness and lack of culture on the part of Bedirn staff.

Instead of finding a solution, arranging a reservation at another restaurant, or offering another option, the manager was rude and unhelpful. Lunch dishes are not allowed to be shared here - neither an extra plate nor a second cutlery is provided. According to the waitress, this is a new instruction from management to increase sales. What a shame! I've always enjoyed being here, but something like that just doesn't work for me...

When my aunt asked to call the boss, he replied that he was the boss here. If you're the boss, I have the right to know your name, right? He said, “Stay here until 5:30 p.m. and then you have to leave.” She asked, “Should I kick the guests out at 5:30 p.m.?” He said "yes" She wanted to solve the problem, he said: “Leave my restaurant.” Of course we didn't stay there. The best pizzas we have eaten in a long time. Service nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the ambience is reminiscent of a train station hall, you could really make more effort. Amazing choice for Italian in Munich Everything delicious

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment! I ordered the Gamberetti pizza at L’Osteria Munich Schwanthalerstraße and found that it was completely dry and hard. The dough was in the oven for far too long, so the pizza was like a board. When you picked it up with two or three fingers, it didn't bend at all - that says it all. The fact that the kitchen would even send out something like that is an impudence! For €16.95 I expect a pizza that doesn't resemble plywood. Quantity seems to be more important here than quality - the main thing is that it's huge, but taste-wise it's a disappointment. For me a reason not to pay this chain another visit. What a shame!

Great service and, as in every L'Osteria, delicious food.

While traveling around Munich I came across this Italian tavern, and as an Italian I can tell you that both the location and the food are good but the thing that surpasses everyone is the service. We were served by Maddalena, a Calabrian lady who conveys the true sense of Italianness at the table: friendliness, professionalism and kindness that make you feel as if you were back in Italy.

It's a large place which feels crowded, industrial and noisy. The 4 of us went for lunch on a Saturday and we didn't have a reservation. There were a lot of visitors and we were offered one small table available which could accommodate only two. The pizzas were good and the waitress was nice with us.
