L'Osteria München Schwanthalerstraße in München

It's a large place which feels crowded, industrial and noisy. The 4 of us went for lunch on a Saturday and we didn't have a reservation. There were a lot of visitors and we were offered one small table available which could accommodate only two. The pizzas were good and the waitress was nice with us.

The food was great. It took a bit long. The service was very nice and accommodating. The pizza was great, the Caesar salad was great. We'll be back.

You always have to wait a long time, no matter what.

By far the best L’Osteria in Munich! The service is great (despite not having a reservation you got a seat at 7 p.m.) and the service was super super nice. She responded perfectly to our wishes. Her name was Samra. The pizza was perfect, it couldn't have been better. Likewise the side salad. The branch is beautifully designed and is a real eye-catcher both inside and out thanks to the large window front! All in all: The best L’Osteria visit we’ve had so far :)

Lambrusco is super tasty and the service we had was also great. Cozy atmosphere even if you just want to have a drink.

Very good large pizzas! Very good price-performance ratio! Fine salads with very good dressing and fresh bread! We've been there several times and would love to come back! Very attentive staff!

We were there yesterday, on a Saturday evening, at absolute rush hour, without a reservation. With little hope of getting a table, we were told that we were welcome to have a drink at the counter and that they would try to seat us as quickly as possible. That happened after less than 10 minutes. We were then served in a super friendly and very courteous manner. And yes, we also had to wait a little longer for our pizza, which was completely normal given the number of guests on a Saturday evening. Everyone wants their pizza freshly prepared, hardly anyone wants to wait. That doesn't fit!! There are other places to go for quick, low-quality food :) We felt completely at home, the food and service was fantastic and we would eat there again every time we visit Munich!!

The pizzas are to die for! My favorite: Pizza Bo with spicy oil

Worst place to celebrate a birthday!!!

Terrible!!!! The pizza took 1.5 hrs to arrive and it was dry and cold. The salad also came very late and the chicken was cold. We complained and nothing changed. Don’t recommend it!!!!

Had a perfect evening in a large group! The food was outstanding, especially the Maccheroncini Gorgonzola! The atmosphere is also super nice and cozy, the service is very friendly and attentive. Clear recommendation!

Right next to my hotel, Residence Inn Munich, I ordered an appetizer, thought it would be small, it wasn't, after that I couldn't manage to eat any more. It is advisable to reserve a table, no matter what time of day, as it is always very busy. On Sunday I ate a salad with baked goat cheese, walnuts, apples, beetroot with cucumbers and of course salad with a delicious dressing.

We really enjoy coming to this L'Osteria because everything is perfect here: the atmosphere, the food and, above all, the service! We've been lucky enough to be served twice by the lovely waitress Samra. Samra serves her guests in a very committed, warm and courteous manner - such great service makes customers feel very comfortable and welcome (and creates repeat visitors). Food was ok, it wasn't that busy, but after our food was brought we felt ignored. At least we waited half an hour until we could finally pay, and in the meantime there was no question as to whether everything was okay.

Absolutely disappointing! We were a group with children and wanted to put a few tables together. The owner strictly refused and even put 'Reserved' signs on empty tables so we couldn't use them. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly. Never again!

Mixed impressions. I recommend avoiding this place unless absolutely necessary. We came on a weekday evening and stood in line. The man at the entrance quickly found a seat for everyone and distributed them throughout the large hall. Our turn reached us and we were escorted to our table. The waitress came up to us several times to order until we had ordered everything we wanted. The evening started well. Then the magic began. Dirty dishes were piling up on the table, ordering a second beer turned out to be a problem - everyone was looking at us only with their backs and the back of their heads, including our waitress. The pizza is not cut, the dough is semi-raw. The size is such that it hangs from all edges of the plate. The bill they brought us was 10 percent more: 66.4 instead of 60.4 euros. To the question “how did this happen?” the waitress told a story about Oktoberfest and how they had to pay 2 percent to the kitchen out of their own pocket. Where the remaining 8 percent goes remains a mystery to us. There is not a word about this on the menu, they don’t warn you when ordering, and there is no information on the receipt either. "Strange! When you pay by card, it’s all visible!” We paid in cash, we couldn't see it. The hall is warm and nice, the music is not blaring, the toilet is clean. Lamps above the bar in the shape of a coronavirus 🙃

Dear L’Osteria team, I would like to tell you about my visit to your branch today, which was unfortunately anything but satisfactory. Already at the reception I felt unwelcome as a guest when the employee there dismissed my message that I had made a reservation and my family was already there with the rude answer: “Yes, look around, I have no idea.” After we were seated, a waitress (blond, slightly stockier) took our order, but the drinks were brought by someone else. Meanwhile we were already given cutlery and documents for the pizza. After that we were completely ignored. Despite the high number of people, I as a guest cannot understand why we had to wait over an hour for our pizzas, while other guests who had ordered after us received their dishes quickly. After about 50 minutes I spoke to the waitress who had taken our order. Her reaction was not only unfriendly, but also irritating: “Where are you sitting?” She then disappeared without giving us any feedback. Shortly after, we saw this waitress aggressively take off her apron and disappear into the private staff area without coming to our table again. It was only after more than 10 minutes that another colleague came to us, apologized several times and said the pizzas would be coming soon. These were ultimately brought by a fourth person. The pizza was, as usual, very tasty, but the long wait meant that we had already lost our hunger and desire for it. Apart from the good taste, the evening left an extremely negative impression. It was obvious that the organization and communication among employees that evening was completely inadequate. I understand that it is stressful when there is a lot of traffic, but the guest should never feel unwelcome. I hope that you will take the abuses described seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent such experiences from occurring in the future.

I go to this restaurant after donating blood (Blutspenden) to nurse Anzhelika, originally from Ukraine. A lovely place for an introvert.

My visit to L’Osteria on December 30th, 2024 at around 5 p.m. was a disaster. I didn't like the table I was assigned. When I asked to be moved to another position, I was firmly refused by an employee who acted like a manager. To my horror, two women who came after me and hadn't even made a reservation were seated at exactly that table. The employee in question was extremely rude and refused to give his name even though I made it clear that I would report his behavior. For better identification: The waiter bore a striking resemblance to Jeffrey Dahmer. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable. I will not visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it to anyone. I urgently call on L’Osteria to deal with this incident internally and draw the necessary conclusions so that something like this does not happen again in the future.

Restaurant just outside our hotel... soft atmosphere with soft lights... excellent welcome and very good quality of food... very large and thin pizza...! We'll be back!

As usual, there is delicious food here. It has always been a part of our life to eat at L'Osteria, no matter what city we are in. The staff is friendly, although stressed, like everywhere else. We always like the pizza and it did this time too. Unfortunately, we noticed that this restaurant is getting a bit old.

The location of the place is very nice. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Pizza and spaghetti are very delicious. Their pizzas come thin and hot. A single pizza can definitely feed 3 people.

After a visit to the Winter Tollwood, where we couldn't find anything suitable for us to eat, the decision was made "a pizza is always possible" Taken relatively quickly. Let's try the Osteria. A large pizzeria. We got a place straight away. First disappointment, the beer I ordered was stale. But I got a new one straight away. We sat so that we could look closely at the pizza delivery. As my wife observed closely (their line of sight) our pizza (very large - for 2 people) was served for a good 10 minutes, but no waiter was interested. Of course, when we had the pizza on our plates it was only lukewarm. But we were hungry so we ate them. When the waiter asked if everything was okay, we said: the pizza would have been better warm. To make up for us he brought us two grappas. From what we have seen and observed, the Osteria people are young, fast and committed Team. The only thing that needs to be adjusted a bit is the pizza delivery. Maybe we were just a bit unlucky that evening that everything didn't work out so well.

Ordered from L'Osteria via Uber Eats, my driver kept changing. That's why I called after 1 hour & the only thing I was told (in an annoyed tone) was: "Orders all picked up, contact Uber." So my €36 pizza was effectively stolen by the first driver & the restaurant wasn't interested in helping me in any way.

It feels like one square meter of pizza, thin dough and ideally crispy edges, just the way I prefer. Nice and pretty service. Gladly again

We had pizza here with the family and were very happy with the food, really tasty. However, we had to wait a long time for the food and the service was unfortunately disappointing. We primarily had a young blonde lady as a waitress at our table who interacted with us as little as possible (the drinks were also simply slapped down, wine and water were not filled into glasses, neither a friendly hello nor any interaction - a shame) . Instead of being genuinely hospitable, the lady seemed to be busy shuffling around noisily, singing, eating, being on her cell phone, talking to colleagues. It is very nice when there is a familiar and comfortable atmosphere among the employees (this is especially true if you have worked a lot in service yourself), but I find that to be unreasonable when the actual work is done poorly.

Why do you make people wait so long at the door even though half the store is empty? Tens of tables free this evening but we were left standing outside for 20 minutes... the gentleman at the "check in" wiped down tables in between, served pizza... let people in and increase the staff.

Great, great, customer focused service! I love the concept and that you can, for example, order a pizza with 2 different toppings and be able to line up with someone! Very tasty food and great price-performance ratio. It never ceases to amaze me!... The only thing I find a bit unfortunate is the acoustics in the restaurant... when all the tables are occupied it is so loud that you can almost no longer hold a conversation. Otherwise everything was really TOP!!

It's a real shame, L'Osteria disappointed us all very much. We then went to the Deutsches Theater and had to rush off...

It was really great, I went there with my sister after a concert and wanted to eat something quick and go back to Nuremberg. We would be served by such a great, cool, nice gentlemen, kind regards, he was so, so warm and so great, just wow, the food was also super fast, it tasted great, so the service definitely made you feel comfortable and the kitchen does just such a great job. The store is bad. I did not want to buy from it when the store owner, Hajji Hobi, returned, because the store was stolen from the closest people. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs in you.

They say they close at 12:00am, but they refused our service tonight at 10:45pm. We even asked if we could do a to-go order and they refused. Definitely not good customer service.

The pizza was delicious. It's quite large, so it's perfect for sharing among about 3 people. It took a while for the food to arrive after ordering. The atmosphere of the entire store was bright and the space was nice.

Pizza is good and mega big. Plates are so small. Prices are a little higher, but understandable given the size. Gladly again
