Restaurant Contrast in Laupheim

Incredibly delicious roast beef with onions and spaetzle, a fantastic daily special with specials. Unfortunately, the pasta wasn't a hit. Overcooked and tasteless. But otherwise, everything was excellent. Friendly service and a very elegant ambiance, but also a bit on the expensive side.

This is the fillet they brought me for the modest sum of €35.50. On the menu it was written that the cut is 200g. Judge for yourself. I complained to the staff, who explained to me that the fillet had dried out during cooking (?????). I was left speechless by the terrible, terrible, terrible value for money. Furthermore, the fillet had been overcooked, the outside was almost burnt. It's a shame to charge €35.50 for this dish.

Service and ambience are good but not exceptional. The food, on the other hand, is far too expensive and unfortunately not particularly good. The meat was well fried, but had the taste of an old cow. The spaetzle was really nothing - and in the middle of Swabia! Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio did not convince me at all.

Was more than satisfied throughout. The food costs a little more (although this is foreseeable with a multi-course menu), but it is very good and so are the drinks. The very cozy, inviting atmosphere and the service underlined the whole thing further positively for me. Gladly again! 👍

Price performance is absolutely bad. Food was mediocre but way too expensive, onion roast is not the product either. Service was okay but not what it used to be. All in all, absolutely not recommended for the price.

The meat was okay. A bit dry for my taste. But it was spot on. The dip had oxidized and discolored from standing. It only arrived halfway through when I asked. It's not acceptable twice. There were over-fried leftovers from the deep fryer at the bottom of the chip bowl – not acceptable at €5.80 for a small portion; a Meccan or a WürgerKong is standard fare. The atmosphere is modern, and turning the air conditioning on or off when it's packed would be helpful. Hence only 3 stars. But it's all doable with goodwill.

Very nice restaurant with good food and good wine. Nice staff. Modern design of the place.

Really good steaks, drinks and other appetizers. My family stayed here and went out to dinner, it was a really great spot, friendly service too. Definitely recommend!

Everything was okay, I'll go back there

Super tasty and special! The mix of regional specialties with a touch and inspiration from Asia make the food and enjoyment a special experience and taste. Recommendations are definitely steak.
