Restaurant Contrast in Laupheim

Incredibly delicious roast beef with onions and spaetzle, a fantastic daily special with specials. Unfortunately, the pasta wasn't a hit. Overcooked and tasteless. But otherwise, everything was excellent. Friendly service and a very elegant ambiance, but also a bit on the expensive side.

This is the fillet they brought me for the modest sum of €35.50. The menu said it weighed 200g. You be the judge. I complained to the staff, who explained that the fillet had dried out during cooking (?????). I was speechless at the terrible, terrible, terrible value for money. Furthermore, the fillet had been overcooked; the outside was almost burnt. It's a disgrace to charge €35.50 for this dish.

The service and ambiance are good, but nothing exceptional. The food, on the other hand, is far too expensive and, unfortunately, not particularly good. The meat was well-cooked, but tasted like it came from an old cow. The spaetzle were absolutely terrible—and this in the middle of Swabia! And the value for money didn't really convince me either.

I was more than satisfied throughout. The food costs a bit more (but that's to be expected for a multi-course meal), but it's very good, as are the drinks. The cozy, inviting ambiance and the service further enhanced the overall experience for me. I'd love to go back! 👍

The price/performance ratio is absolutely terrible. The food was mediocre but far too expensive, and the roast beef with onions wasn't the best either. Service was okay, but not what it used to be. All in all, for the price, absolutely not recommended.

The meat was okay. A bit dry for my taste. But it was spot on. The dip had oxidized and discolored from standing. It only arrived halfway through when I asked. It's not acceptable twice. There were over-fried leftovers from the deep fryer at the bottom of the chip bowl – not acceptable at €5.80 for a small portion; a Meccan or a WürgerKong is standard fare. The atmosphere is modern, and turning the air conditioning on or off when it's packed would be helpful. Hence only 3 stars. But it's all doable with goodwill.

Very nice restaurant with good food and good wine. Nice staff. Modern design of the place.

Really good steaks, drinks and other appetizers. My family stayed here and went out to dinner, it was a really great spot, friendly service too. Definitely recommend!

Everything was okay, I'll go there again

Super tasty and special! The mix of regional specialties with a touch and inspiration from Asia make the food and enjoyment a special experience and taste. Recommendations are definitely steak.
