Restaurant Carl's in Bad Vilbel

Carls Restaurant ist eine hervorragende Location für besondere Anlässe und Feiern. Ich war bereits an Silvester dort zum Abendessen und habe den Abend in einer sehr angenehmen und schönen Atmosphäre genossen. Aber auch im privaten Rahmen kann man dort sonntags sehr gut essen und in gemütlicher Runde ein Bier trinken. Vor fünf Tagen haben wir dort einen Geburtstag mit rund 18 Personen gefeiert. Es war ausgerechnet der heißeste Freitag im Juni — mit Temperaturen von bis zu 42 Grad im Schatten. Trotz dieser extremen Bedingungen hat der Inhaber alles hervorragend organisiert und sich um jedes Detail gekümmert — es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Besonders beeindruckend war, dass das Essen für alle 18 Personen gleichzeitig serviert wurde — eine starke Leistung! Auch die Getränke waren perfekt gekühlt, was bei diesen Temperaturen besonders wichtig war. Das gesamte Team hat sehr professionell gearbeitet und hervorragend harmoniert. Wir werden im Carls Restaurant definitiv noch weitere Feiern und Events veranstalten. Ein großes Dankeschön an Denis und sein gesamtes Team für den großartigen Service!

Das Essen war ein absolutes Highlight – super lecker, frisch und optisch ein Traum. Auch unsere Gäste waren restlos begeistert. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön gilt dem Chef: Die Organisation im Vorfeld und am Tag selbst war einfach erstklassig. Man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Herzblut und Professionalität das Restaurant geführt wird! Der Service war aufmerksam, herzlich und absolut auf Zack, sodass wir unseren großen Tag komplett unbeschwert genießen konnten. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und hat perfekt zu unserer Feier gepasst. Kurz gesagt: Essen top, Service top, Chef top, alles top!

Wir hatten unsere Hochzeit mit über 90 Personen hier gefeiert und sind rundum begeistert! Die Location ist wunderschön und perfekt für so einen besonderen Anlass. Der Service war den ganzen Abend über sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Auch das Essen war hervorragend – alle Gäste waren begeistert. Sehr nettes Restaurant. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, vor allem die Nike ist sehr zuvorkommend und nach dem Wohlbefinden ihrer Kunden aus.

Fanden es top. Es ist nicht so eng zugestellt, wie viele andere Restaurants, Geräuschpegel dadurch echt angenehm und der Service war auch top. Essen natürlich auch super. Großes Plus: viele kostenfreie Parkplätze davor.

Wir fühlen uns dort sehr wohl und mögen das Team, was sehr aufmerksam dem Gast gegenüber ist. Das Essen ist Innovativ und geschmacklich sehr lecker.

Wir waren inzwischen schon des öfteren im Restaurant Carl's. Bei warmen Wetter kann man schön auf der geräumigen Terrasse sitzen mit einem traumhaften Blick auf die Skyline von Frankfurt. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und meiner Meinung nach auch qualitativ hochwertig. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett und auch der Chef ist super freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Wir sind sehr gerne hier.

Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm, das Personal super freundlich und wir haben uns direkt wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder – dann auch zum Essen. :)

Super nettes Personal. Immer wieder lecker dorthin zu gehen, das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist auch gut.

Das Essen war überragend. Der Service ist außerdem Mega gut!! Detlef ist der beste Koch dem ich seit langem begegnen durfte. Tom und Moritz machen den Besuch unvergesslich💪 Auch die Aussicht sowie der Standort sind unübertroffen!

Wir waren am 31.12. zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Gut das wir reserviert hatten, es war bis auf den letzten Platz voll. Trotzdem war der Service sehr schnell und aufmerksam. Unser Essen war tipptopp in Ordnung und sehr lecker. Absolut passendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

We were a little apprehensive at first. Located next to a sports field, the restaurant initially looked like a typical local pub from the outside, but we were impressed by the interior. A lovely atmosphere, friendly service, and very good food. We were using a discount voucher and couldn't tell the difference between our experience and that of the other guests. Highly recommended! We prefer Carl's on Heilsberg. There, you'll be treated like a king or queen, with or without a voucher. We'll do the voucher at the end, quite relaxed ☺️, he says when he sees the gourmet block. Now that's what I call friendly, and good food to boot.

We held our christening celebration here and would like to sincerely thank the entire team! Even the communication beforehand was uncomplicated and pleasant. On the day itself, everything was just perfect: the beautiful setting, the first-class food with vegetarian and even vegan options, and, last but not least, the friendly and attentive staff. The terrace with its view of the greenery was beautiful—the perfect setting for photos. We also particularly appreciated the accessibility and dog-friendliness. We 100% recommend the restaurant and would gladly come back! ❤️

We hosted an unforgettable summer wedding celebration with about 45 guests at Carl's. Communication was seamless from the start, and all our requests regarding (vegetarian) food and decorations were accommodated. The location is beautifully quiet with views of hills, fields, and the Frankfurt skyline. There is more than enough free parking available. We particularly loved the terrace, equipped with umbrellas. Our guests were equally enthusiastic about the location and the food.

Went to a small celebration here in Carl's. We reserved the table well in advance, which we would recommend to everyone. The service was great. With his funny yet attentive manner, this contributed greatly to a successful evening. The menu is not that overloaded, which is also reflected in the quality of the food. Everyone ordered something different, but everyone praised the good taste and quality. The celebration took place outside. We had a beautiful, unobstructed view towards Frankfurt. Yes, the Carls restaurant is great, the food tastes good, so it's definitely worth the trip from Gießen to Bad Vilbel by public transport or by car. The Frankfurter Schnitzel with green sauce is highly recommended.

Finally found the time to rate Carl’s. We became aware of Carl's through a recommendation and what can I say, we were not disappointed. The owner and the staff are super friendly and always have a nice saying to say. The food was really very tasty. The tartare was prepared at the table and tasted really great. For the main course we had a burger and a Frankfurter Schnitzel. Both tasted great and you could taste the freshness. However, we had one very small criticism and it was well received. The salad bowls were simply too small for the amount of salad, which was super fresh and delicious. My tip would be slightly larger plates. Let's see if it is implemented. Otherwise the restaurant is very modern. You should reserve a table. For us it's very clear... We'll be back.

We were at brunch - celebrating a birthday with 11 people. Enough parking spaces in front of the door. Very friendly welcome, the team was very attentive. Everything is clean, attractively decorated - modern, not too kitschy. There was pretty much everything I wanted in terms of food. “Decent” rolls, not cheap baked rolls. There is also an attractive selection of warm dishes - there is something for the standard eater and something more unusual. Dessert (mousse or red fruit jelly) both delicious.

There were four of us and we had four different dishes. All excellent, really great. Maybe not that cheap, but appropriate. We also have a “gourmet block”, which makes it even better. It was very comfortable; All the employees were really super attentive, super nice, friendly and cheerful.

Very pleasant atmosphere with good parking right in front of the door. In winter you can sit beautifully on dark, modern wooden furniture, in summer you can sit in the countryside on the terrace with a view of Frankfurt. The menu has fixed items such as burgers, various special schnitzels, and delicious salads, as well as seasonal menus. In autumn there are creative pumpkin dishes, and in winter there is also very good goose. Everything is very tasty, regional and fresh - we always like to come back

We were able to have a funeral service here for the second time. The last one at very short notice and during the actual closing time. The food was delicious and fully met my expectations. We sat outside in the summer and inside in the winter. It was the perfect place. The staff were courteous and took good care of us. The food was also delicious on my other visits and I always felt very comfortable here.

Slightly upscale. Service is friendly. There was a delicious greeting from the kitchen. Side salad was very good. Above all, it was completely dressed and didn't have the dressing slapped on it like in many places. So 2 thumbs up. Main course was great. Unfortunately you have to order the side salad separately, it is not included in the price. This makes it noticeably more expensive. So be it. It was worth it. Since I was there with the Schlemmerblock, it didn't matter anyway.

We were able to spend an evening here today as a company and what can I say…. Very tasty food (buffet), a great location and the service a 10/10. The owner himself often came to the table and gave us recommendations from the house, chatted with us and put us in a good mood. His “employees” (feel more like family or good friends) also make an incredibly balanced and professional impression. It's fun to work here and this feeling was also passed on to us as guests. On our evening (due to the many Muslim employees on our side), only food was prepared that everyone could eat. You don't have that often anymore or in this selection. It's also easy to reach and there's plenty of parking space 👍 Really great, always happy and thank you again for the unforgettable evening 👍

We went to Carl's for dinner today. The restaurant is really pretty and feels very upscale, even though it is effectively a "sports restaurant" at the football field. The service was good, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The food is good, homely and really well done. A nice menu. A small star deduction because it's not perfect, but close. To be criticized, but still completely ok e.g. that the schnitzel was quite dark on the edge. But everything is still within serviceable limits. But there is still some room for improvement to be perfect. Still definitely recommended. We would come again.

A really great restaurant! Everything is just right at Carls, from service to cuisine and ambience. The waitresses shine through their constant friendliness and obvious fun at work, which you can also feel as a guest. The excellent food not only impresses the guest in terms of taste but also visually! The salads on the picturesque terrace with a view of the skyline are particularly recommended in summer. The boss, like his employees, is always super friendly and impresses with impressive expertise and experience. I come weekly and am still thrilled, definitely worth more than just a visit!

Went to the brunch/lunch buffet today. The service is really great and excellent, the owner is very fond of children (soon there will also be a brunch including professional childcare). It was delicious and a great selection! It was replenished quickly and was always fresh - without having tons of it lying around that just had to be thrown away at the end. Very good balance! A really great restaurant. Tastefully decorated. Parking spaces directly in front of the house. A very detailed menu. There is something for every taste. I can especially recommend the Kellerbier. That was very delicious. I had a schnitzel with mushrooms to eat. Plus fried potatoes. Very very tasty. In addition, there is a very attentive service that is really smart and was always there when you needed it. All in all, my conclusion: I'll definitely be back!

In a beautiful Sunday afternoon we ate here 2 burgers ( cheeseburger and Deluxe burger) and a cream brulee dessert. The waiters are polite, fast and pay attention to details, the terasse has a beautiful view to sunset, the dishes are delicious and also look very good.

Carls is always a delight. The steaks are always of very good quality. Homemade tortellini are a real culinary delight. Good schnitzels. The menu doesn't have a large selection, but the quality is consistently very good. A good selection of wines and also a really tasty hazelnut brandy. Carls is highly recommended. We are always happy to be guests there again.

I was already there in the summer of 2023, now there were 11 of us for Sunday brunch

Very friendly service but the food was not convincing. People can have different opinions about the ambience, but to my taste it is one big room that has a canteen atmosphere. Even the diffuse lighting doesn't hide this. After the drinks, the really attentive service quickly served us some baguette with cream as a welcome greeting. The main course also came very quickly, but that wasn't surprising since it only consisted of fried potatoes and a frozen cordon bleu from the deep fryer (and a few decorative tomatoes), without a side salad. This food really can't be described as culinary art and it was definitely not a taste experience either. Yes, it was warm and plentiful, but I get better food in our company canteen. However, I expect more when visiting a restaurant, which is why Carls won't be seeing us again anytime soon. For this rather loveless service and mediocre quality, charging just under EUR 19 for a main course made up of two components is too expensive. Fortunately, there are better offers in Bad Vilbel that justify such a price: meat from a local butcher, spicy cheese, freshly prepared in the pan. Maybe Carl's kitchen will try it out.

I was there for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was very good, also very tasty. Maybe a little too little for the slightly more expensive price. There was a buffet for breakfast that, in my opinion, was absolutely too expensive. So far too little choice for the price. Nevertheless, the food on offer was of course of good quality and it also tasted very good. Service was always very nice and courteous.

You often think... club 'pub'... oh dear... but this restaurant can do something!!! The waitresses are very nice and service-oriented and the food was really tasty. Only the volume was a little louder at times, but that was probably because there were several Christmas parties taking place there.

Wir sind während der Kürbis Saison gekommen und hatten zwei Gerichte mit Kürbis bestellt, diese haben uns leider nicht geschmeckt. (Eventuell war der Kürbis nicht mehr gut) Wir durften etwas anderes bestellen, was dann auch besser geschmeckt hat. Der Burger und der Spargel waren ganz gut.
