High quality of food. In terms of price, it's more upper middle class.

I celebrated my 60th there and everything was a wonderful celebration. The food, service, everything was right.

In my opinion, sea bass was a bit dry and had no seasoning, the chop was good but also not enough, what was really good was the fish soup and the pinsa, rarely eaten as good, so one more star. Service was good even under stress, the atmosphere was beautifully bright.

At Christmas there is only one menu with 6 dishes and there isn't something for everyone if you're not that into veal.

One of the most subterranean dinners I've had in a long time. Nothing was right here. We took responsibility for our reservation, which they couldn't find. It could be that we did something wrong. But the rest. A celebration in the next room, where both the guests and the staff come in and out every (less than) minutes. The fact that they didn't pay any attention to other guests and that we were now given the table directly opposite the door - I really appreciate it. The cellars should have been concerned. You probably didn't have the first celebration and know the situation. Btw, other tables were free for the entire duration of our visit. The service was very hectic. We were neither offered anything nor asked for anything. So I just ordered water. When I asked the city about the size and variety, one simple answer came up. The food would have been quite nice. I had a Pinsa. Unfortunately, it tasted like the wooden board on which it was served. The one from my companion also tasted like what was already on the board. The only plus point - I thought the prices were ok. Still nothing for those on a tight budget.

The food is very tasty. The service is a medium disaster. Chaos at the reservation. Completely wrong name written down and then you have to prove the reservation. After placement, you wait what feels like an eternity for the cards. Placing the order was quite strenuous on two visits due to the not very good knowledge of German, at least by one waiter. The meal takes a while, which is normal for a full restaurant. After that, however, it is difficult to get a waitress again without seeking their attention yourself. And it also took a long time until we were able to pay. Then we specifically stated that we wanted to pay separately, but the bill came in full and it took a while before we could pay. We arrived at 6 p.m. and just about made it to the 8 p.m. performance in the town hall next door. So bring enough time. ;-)

Had dinner with 8 people this evening. Service could be better, some communication problems. We ate Pinsa 4 times. Everyone noticed the bad, unpleasant smell from the wooden boards (like rancid fat) that passed into the pinsa. The boss asked at the table if everything was okay. We kindly informed you about the wooden boards. He didn't want to understand us. The other food and desserts were fine. Pinsa on wooden board no thanks.

Unfortunately I could only eat some bread with antipasta as a starter and as a main course only 2 pieces of paccheri with eggplant and tomato sauce and a Maultaschen for a 35€ buffet. Afterwards the buffet was empty and some people didn't even get their main courses yet.… Communication with the waiters was difficult!

Nice atmosphere. A little less comfortable in the adjoining room than in the main or anteroom. Food very good and nice selection. Unfortunately, the service was a complete failure for the second time. It was impossible to find out whether you were annoyed, bored or just plain unfriendly (both the receptionist and the waiter in charge). All you could do was shake your head and try not to let it spoil your mood. We haven't been treated so negatively in a long time. A positive bright spot was the young, friendly waiter who brought us our food. We would like to go to Il Sorriso again, but no longer to the Enoteca

Unfortunately it doesn't come close to living up to expectations. The service is a catastrophe, but this is not due to the really friendly staff but rather to the extremely overbearing boss who doesn't trust his staff to do anything. The other waiters are only there to clear the tables, re-set them and, if necessary, bring out food. The boss literally takes the orders out of the hands of the other waiter because he wants to carry them out himself. You can only place orders with him and you can only get a table from him. He is rightly completely stressed out by this, but you have to say that it is his own fault. We waited about 30 minutes to be able to order and another 30 minutes to pay. The food was an absolute disaster, simple spaghetti cabonara that you really couldn't eat. We heard one complaint about the food and two returns from surrounding tables. We are really very disappointed and it seems like a problem that can be solved really easily with a simple division of tasks. The other waiters were really nice and seemed happy to take on more responsibilities that they simply weren't given. It's a shame if the overall quality suffers!

I recently attempted to plan a private family celebration at Il Sorriso and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. First I sent an email to which I never received a reply. So I finally called to move forward with the planning. I was told to come by in the morning (despite my request for an exact time, I was only told morning) to discuss everything. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, the boss wasn't there. Instead, I was greeted by an unfriendly employee who told me that the boss wouldn't be coming until later in the evening. There was no apology or solution to the situation. I felt unwelcome and my concerns were abandoned. I drove there for 20 minutes and I find it disgraceful. Service and communication are crucial when it comes to planning special occasions and both were lacking here. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

Starters and main courses really tasty. Service more than expandable. Unfortunately you can save yourself desserts, especially the coffee and the tiramisu. No gluten free pasta.

I invited friends and family to my birthday. One of the guests and I were completely satisfied!

We celebrated our wedding there in the next room, including a starter and main course buffet and tiramisu at the end. Organization and service were good. The food was great. Something for everyone, also recommended for vegetarians.

The service is a disaster and extremely unfriendly! Last Sunday we were really looking forward to our reservation because there was a more special family celebration. Unfortunately, right from the start we were served by the waiter and treated us like we were in a bar! He should really rethink his job. Super unfriendly, no one made eye contact while ordering and requests couldn't be addressed! We wanted a salad WITHOUT MUSHROOMS. The waiter said it wasn't possible and just didn't want to make us a salad without mushrooms out of spite. As a vegetarian you don't have the biggest choice there, so the salad with mushrooms was ordered and they were sorted out ourselves... At these prices and supposedly an upscale restaurant, that's a disgrace. For another salad, the tomatoes could also be left out. All in all, the conditions did not make you feel comfortable or welcome, let alone wanted! Totally ruined the mood for all of us and everyone at the table agreed that the waiter had completely failed in his job. We definitely won't be coming back again. Kind regards, Miriam Weilmünster

We enjoyed our meal and the service at this restaurant. The food was well-prepared and tasted quite good, and at a very palatable price point. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and arranged. I would return to try additional plates.

We have eaten there several times and were very satisfied again. The six of us ordered different dishes. Tuto paletti or had everything tasted good. Drinks and food have a good price-performance ratio. Despite the full house, the service was friendly and competent. I only see a need for action in the acoustics, because entertainment is tiring. There are experts there.

As someone who has high expectations of an Italian, it's not easy to completely convince me. But the Il Sorriso restaurant in Bad Vilbel manages to do this every time. The food is not only delicious in terms of taste, but also offers Italian highlights outside of the menu! Added to this is the friendly staff, whose warmth makes the visit a special experience. The wine selection and the associated expertise on every wine you like completes the whole thing and offers something for every taste. For us, Il Sorriso in Bad Vilbel is by far the best Italian restaurant in the area and can only be warmly recommended.

We've had lunch at Il Sorriso Ristorante & Enoteca a few times now and have always been very satisfied. The service is always very friendly and attentive. The food (we tried everything from starters to various main courses and desserts) was always very good. The quiet atmosphere at lunchtime was also pleasant, as the restaurant was usually not very busy. We like to come back regularly.

Very good service, great ambience, really good cuisine! What more do you want? Cheap parking spaces in front of the door and fair prices on the menu, you can get everything here. Were here for the first time, but not for the last time. Very good! Delizioso

Really very tasty food and good wines. Price-performance ratio is great. Very large restaurant. Therefore loud, not so comfortable. Service is good when it starts. We had to have something until we could order.

The food was very good. We had beef fillet and risotto. Both tasted great. I ordered the beef fillet medium, it was rather medium-rare, but still OK for me. The service from the head waiter was excellent. He gave us very good advice on the different wines. There is an extensive wine list and other wines as well. We even got to taste a wine and then take another bottle of wine. We sat very nicely in the anteroom right at the entrance. There are only a few tables there, which makes it a little more comfortable than in the very large main room. There are high tables with bar stools in the anteroom. But you sit very comfortably. We waited a very long time for the food. By the time the main course arrived, over 2 hours had passed since we arrived. Thanks to the appetizer and the nice company, it wasn't bad, but it was noteworthy. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices; the beef fillet with side dishes costs €28.50. The bottle of wine, which costs around €20 in the store, was offered for €42. That's very fair in my opinion. Addendum from February 17, 2024: We also sat in the large main room. Of course it was full on a Saturday evening, but it was really exceptionally loud. You have to like that. Even without starters we waited about 80 minutes for the food. But the wait was worth it: the food is still good and the prices are still completely reasonable. Unfortunately, the tiramisu was out of stock when we wanted to order it.

Hoping to be greeted with a smile - as the name of the restaurant suggests - we were disappointed. The food was served in portions with different ingredients than offered, but overall was very tasty and of high quality. Only the restaurant manager had any topic and more or less ignored us the whole evening. He probably still has to learn to smile...

Wir waren an einem Weihnachtsabend dort zu Besuch und es war wirklich nett Leider war es mega laut weil so viele Tische massig voll waren, mir wurde aber gesagt das es sonst anders wäre und gemütlicher. Die Portionen sind recht klein aber geschmacklich super. Preis Leistung ganz ok

Wir hatten heute den Seeteufel und die Seezunge, beide waren wirklich hervorragend! Tolles Personal, super essen und klasse Ambiente. 100% Weiterempfehlung.

der Fisch war sehr lecker, jedoch kam der Fisch ohne Beilagen. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, der kleine mini Salat wäre die Beilagen. Das fand ich dann etwas teuer 30 Euro mit einem Mini Salat und nur der Fisch. Da hätte ich mir genauere Infos vorab gewünscht. Aber das Personal war an diesem Tag eher gestresst. Und wir haben fast eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet.

Hier hat alles gepasst. Service und Essen ist top. Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier. Pinsa und Caprese waren sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

5/5 eine sehr herzliche Atmosphäre, höfliche Kellner, die Ihnen gerne alles empfehlen, was Sie fragen. Das Essen war lecker, ich bestellte: Pizza (ein Prosciutto und eine Calabrese), endlich gut in der Frankfurter Region. sogar echt, wie in Italien, knusprige Oberseite, Zutaten in einer köstlichen Kombination. Rindersteak mit ebenso saftigem Gemüse, Salat mit Tomaten und Burrata, Desserts Tartufo al Pistachio und Schokoladenaufstrich. Weine voller Aromen. Das Einzige, was mir lieber wäre, wäre mehr Soße auf der Pizza, als ob mir das nicht reichen würde

Ich war mit einer größeren Gruppe im Restaurant. Die Vorspeise war gut das weitere Büfett fand ich nicht gut. Der Raum ist meiner Meinung nach nicht für große Gruppen geeignet weil es viel zu laut wurde.

Sehr gutes Restaurant. Wir haben schon verschiedene Gerichte probiert, alles war sehr gut. Besonders lecker sind Kalbskotelett und Kalbsschnitzel. Zwar etwas teurer aber sehr gut gebraten und große Portionen. Für die Weine ist der Chef persönlich zuständig. Mit viel Fachwissen wurden immer sehr gute Weine empfohlen. Besonders gut ist die Atmosphäre in der Enoteka im vorderen Bereich des Restaurants. Ganz klar unser Lieblingsitaliener in der Gegend.

Wir (10 Personen) hatten zwei gemischte Vorspeisenplatten sowie jeweils verschiedene Pinsa oder Pasta. Alles sehr gut und ordentlich portioniert. Der Service ist aufmerksam.

Wir waren gestern dort essen. Das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllt. Der Service war flott, freundlich und das Essen ist einfach sehr sehr gut :-)

Wir waren zum ersten mal hier Abends essen. Die Tür blieb die ganze Zeit auf, wir saßen im Restaurant, aber es hat gezogen bis zum geht nicht mehr. Zweimal haben wir gefragt, ob man die Tür bitte zumachen konnte. Es hieß „ist gleich vorbei“… Vom Geräusche Pegel her ist es extrem Laut im Restaurant, wie am Bahnhof. Das Essen war TOP! Die gemischte Vorspeise Platte a la Chef - Super! Der Wein „Sommelier“ hatte viel Ahnung und konnte gute Empfehlungen machen. Von der Bedienung habe ich etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit erwartet.

Sitze gerade noch im Restaurant und fange an die Bewertung zu schreiben. So sehr ist der drang zu berichten. Kurz gesagt: Ich kann das Restaurant nicht empfehlen! 👎🏻 Wartezeiten ganz schlecht (Wir haben bei normal besuchtem Restaurant fast 2 Stunden warten müssen! 🤯). Zudem ist für mich unbegreiflich, wie ein Servicepersonal-Team so unprofessionell auftreten kann. Kundenanfragen werden nicht ernst genommen, bei Beschwerden (insbesondere wegen der sehr langen Wartezeit) wurde diskutiert. Zudem waren angeblich keine Kartoffeln mehr da.... Nachweislich eine Lüge. Hier war man wohl einfach genervt von konstruktiver Kritik. 💀 Insgesamt leider extremst enttäuschend, ich empfehle ein anderes Restaurant - ausreichend andere Italiener sind ja vorhanden.

Tolles Restaurant, der Fisch war super frisch und delikat. Saltimbocca al limone sehr gutes Fleisch und die Sauce ein Traum. Die Rosmarin Kartoffeln sind sehr sehr lecker. Top Restaurant, sehr zu empfehlen.

Meine Feier ist sehr gut gelaufen. Die Location einfach ein Hingucker, Essen war sehr lecker. Danke an das Team und kann ich nur empfehlen.

Ma il cuoco ha assaggiato il sugo al pomodoro? Non ha visto che era molto salato? Antipasto buonissimo.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen groß. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Pinsa ist sehr zu empfehlen. Als wir dort waren, war der Altersschnitt eher 50-60. Netter Service.

Super leckeres Essen, gute Portionen, freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Eine Reservierung ist auch unter der Woche zu empfehlen.
