Sehr schöne Lage mit Blick auf die Trave, Gutes Essen und netter, aufmerksamer Service.

Wir liiiieeeeben dieses Restaurant!!!! Sehr guter , netter, familiärer Service, sehr gutes, leckeres Essen und dann der Blick nach draußen...!!!! Man sitzt in einem Schiff, schaut auf die Trave und die großen Pötte fahrn vorbei, meeega, wir waren schon 3 Mal dort und finden es immer wieder schön.

Nettes uriges Lokal direkt an der Hafeneinfahrt. Sind im Sommer draußen auf dem Deck gesessen. Das Essen war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und nett und kompetent. Dankeschön Waren jetzt nochmal hier, aber im Winter. War wieder sehr nett, aber es ist besser einen Tisch vorher zu reservieren. Wir hatten Glück, die nette Mitarbeiterin hat uns noch einen kleinen Tisch frei gemacht. Essen war wieder sehr gut.

Es waren zwei Gerichte aus , und für eine Alternative mit einer sonderl Wunsch ,haben sie eine Gebühr angezogen. Da hätte man auch die Gebühr weglassen können. Sonst ob wohl nicht viel los war, sehr lange Wartezeit und teilweise fürs Geld kleine Portionen. Geschmacklich ok

Zur Mittagszeit in einem Cafe abgewiesen worden weil kein Tisch ohne Mittagessen. Fragliche Idee.

Das war cool. Restaurant auf einem Schiff im Hafen von Travemünde. Haben es einfach probiert ohne Reservierung einen Tisch zu bekommen. Es hat geklappt. Es wsr eine schöne Atmosphäre. Die Damen , die uns versorgt haben, waren echt toll. Ich glaube, die machen es besonders. Sie waren schon älter. " Hut ab dafür" Da war noch Herzblut dabei Das Essen war perfekt. Sehr schmackhaft und auch sehr heiß.

Ohne Reservierung zum Abendessen dort gewesen. Super liebe Bedienung, im größten Stress immer noch super freundlich. Das Essen ist wieder seeeeehr gut gewesen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier hin.

Mit der herausragenden Lage auf dem Boot in der Trave denkt man möglicherweise an eine Touristenfalle - jedoch mitnichten! Freundlicher Service, tolle Karte, schönes Ambiente in wunderschöner Lage! Und alles mit ganz viel lokalkolorit! Wir kommen immer gerne wieder. Und auch unser Hund ist hier immer herzlich willkommen.

Wir waren spontan zur Mittagszeit dort ohne Reservierung. Tolles Ambiente, sehr ruhige Umgebung im Restaurant auf dem Schiff. Engagierte Mitarbeiter, die auch gute Empfehlungen aussprechen können, ohne jedesmal in der Küche nachzufragen. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Nachtisch hat leider keiner mehr gepasst.

Im Jahr 2025 keine Kartenzahlung(erst ab 10 Personen), unten im Restaurantteil ist zu…Toiletten stinken. Fazit: Sucht Euch was Besseres!

Sehr schönes Restaurant auf einem Schiff direkt auf der Trave. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Die Seniorengerichte auf der Karte sind sehr umfangreich, sehr schmackhaft. Die Portionen sind etwas geringer als die auf der Hauptkarte, aber man wird satt. Alles in allem sehr gut.

Immer wieder gerne kommen wir in dieses Restaurant. Du die Lage direkt auf der Trave, erlebt man den Schiffsverkehr nocb intensiver. Auch das Essen überzeugt: Der Seniorenteller war mindestens genauso groß, wie das Originalangebot, und sehr lecker.

Wir waren heute mit zwei Hunden im Traveblick essen. Hunde sind willkommen. Das Essen, wie es angerichtet war, Bedingung, Ambiente und natürlich der Blick auf die Passat, alles einfach großartig. Sehr gerne wieder, ein gelungener Abend. Vielen Dank Nach fast zwei Jahren waren wir heute wieder in Travemünde und auch im Trabeblick. Und es war nicht weniger gelungen als beim ersten Mal. Extrem unfreundliches Servicepersonal 😞😞😞 Wir (6 + 1 Kind Travemünder / Einheimische) wollten Ende August gegen 19:40h im Traveblick zu Abend Essen, aber aufgrund der sehr abweisenden Haltung des Personals und insbesondere einer älteren Kellnerin mit Kurzhaarschnitt verliessen wir das Restaurant, um ein paar Schritte weiter in einem anderen Restaurant von freundlichem Personal empfangen zu werden. Was war geschehen? Schon beim betreten des Restaurants wird man von einem handgeschriebenen Zettel an der Tür empfangen, das Kartenzahlung erst ab einer Gruppe von 10 Personen akzeptiert wird (warum auch immer 😏🤑). Weder am Eingang unten, noch im oberen Deck wurden wir von irgendjemandem Empfangen, und dies obwohl zu diesem Zeitpunkt nur 4 Tische besetzt waren. Die besagte ältere Kellnerin (die uns keines Blickes würdigte) war dabei ein paar Gläser vom einzigen Tisch abzuräumen, wo wir als kleine Gruppe hätten zusammensitzen können. Auf meine Frage, ob dieser Tisch frei wird und ob wir ihn haben können, entgegnete die Frau in sehr pampiger Art: “Vielleicht darf ich den Tisch erst mal sauber machen?” Wir warteten nun geduldig, und setzten uns dann etwas später hin. Als unser 8 jähriger Neffe dann eine benutzte Serviette unter dem Tisch fand reichte er diese der grantigen Kellnerin und fragte sie “Darf ich ihnen das geben?” Diese riss dem Jungen die Serviette ohne ein Wort aus der Hand und schaute ihn dazu noch strafend an. Der Moment das wir uns als Gruppe hier endgültig unwillkommen fühlten und uns entschlossen wieder zu gehen. Eine andere ältere Kellnerin mit langen Haaren wollte gerade die Speisekarten bringen und fragte dann noch was los sei, aber nachdem wir sie auf das Fehlverhalten ihrer scheinbar sehr frustrierten Kollegin aufmerksam machten, startete sie auch keinen Versuch uns doch noch als Gast dazubehalten. Leider war dies nicht unsere erste Erfahrung bezüglich unfreundlichen Services in diesem Restaurant, daher werden wir diesen “Laden” in Zukunft meiden und lieber da Essen gehen, wo man sich willkommen und nicht störend fühlt. Fazit: Es scheint als das sich das Personal im Sommer darauf verlässt, dass die Touristen sowieso kommen und das Geld bringen, wovon später deren Gehälter gezahlt werden, aber es wird hier offensichtlich vergessen, das die Travemünder Gastronomen gerade in den Herbst und Wintermonaten auch die Einheimischen brauchen um besser durch die umsatzschwachen Monate zu kommen. Die Besitzer (wenn es nicht die alte Dame selbst ist) würde gut daran tun, dieses Personal mit Leuten zu ersetzen, die ihren Job gerne und mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht verrichten, so wie es zum Beispiel im Peter Pane oder selbst im Gosch der Fall ist.

Wir sind in den letzten Jahren bei jedem Besuch hier zum Essen gewesen. Absolut seit Jahren gleiche Qualität und schmackhaft! Top Service und nette Atmosphäre . Ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Restaurant(Schiff).

Mehr Meer geht kaum. Der Traveblick liegt auf einem schwankenden Ponton direkt am Wasser. Große Skandinavienfähren gleiten direkt an den Fenstern vorbei. Der obere Gastraum wirkt maritim mit eher kitschigem Dekor, der untere deutlich heller, schlichter und moderner. Wir haben während unseres Travemünde-Urlaubs mehrmals hier gegessen und wurden nie enttäuscht. Die Gerichte waren alle sehr schmackhaft und stets mit etwas Raffinesse zubereitet. Das Besondere: Fast alle sind auf einer Seniorenkarte als kleinere, günstigere Portion erhältlich.

Absolut empfehlenswert.Wir waren Abends zum Essen auf der Terrasse. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und nach einiger Zeit immer noch heiß. Gefülltes Schnitzel mit viel Liebe gemacht und die Fischplatte ebenso perfekt. Pommes frisch wie wir sie selten so bekommen haben. Serviert wurde mit Beilagenschalen was sehr angenehm zu essen war. Die Ruhe und der Blick aufs Wasser...einfach traumhaft. Qualität und Preis es stimmte alles ! Wir kehren immerwieder ein !

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen! Habe dort eine große Cola bestellt. Erhalten habe ich eine eingeschränkte Cola im 0,5 Glas und eine angebrochene 0,33 l Glasflasche. Ich sagte, dass ich lediglich eine große Cola bestellt habe. Daraufhin erwiderte die Bedienung, dass ich in der Karte doch gesehen hätte, dass es nur 0,33 Cola gebe. Jedoch hatte ich gar keine Karte erhalten. Geschäftszügigkeit geht auf jeden Fall anders. Unser Fazit lautet: einmal und nie wieder.

Wir sind seit vielen Jahren während unseres Urlaubs regelmäßig Gäste bei Ihnen gewesen und waren bisher immer sehr zufrieden – sowohl mit dem Service als auch mit der Qualität des Essens. In diesem Jahr mussten wir jedoch leider eine andere Erfahrung machen. Der Service war nicht so aufmerksam wie gewohnt und auch das Essen konnte uns diesmal nicht überzeugen. Zudem haben wir nicht die bestellten Beilagen in vollem Umfang erhalten. Die Qualität insgesamt wirkte im Vergleich zu früher deutlich nachgelassen. Etwas unglücklich war auch, dass wir erst beim Bezahlen erfuhren, dass Kartenzahlung nicht möglich ist. Darüber hinaus machte ein junger Kellner während unseres Besuchs negative Bemerkungen über Arbeitsbedingungen und Hygiene, was uns als Gäste natürlich ebenfalls verunsichert hat. Alles in allem war dieser Besuch für uns leider nicht so erfreulich wie die vielen Male zuvor. Wir hoffen sehr, dass dies eine Ausnahme war, da wir Ihr Restaurant eigentlich sehr schätzen und auch gerne weiterhin besuchen möchten.

Das Essen war , unerwartet, mega gut . Das besondere war das Ambiente und der Ausblick.

Wenn man schon praktisch AUF der Trave sitzt und damit den Schiffsverkehr ungehindert verfolgen kann und dann auch noch wirklich gutes Essen genießen kann ... tja, was will man mehr?

Sehr lecker und reichlich gegessen trotz Seniorenteller ..... Waren vor vielen Jahren schon mal dort und die Qualität hat nicht nachgelassen 👌👌👌 Können bestimmt wieder ...... Sehr empfehlenswert!!!!!!

Nicht zum ersten Mal waren wir hier zu Gast, bislang immer zufrieden. Heute, ein Sonntag Mittag während der Travemünder Woche, ist das Oberdeck nur mäßig besetzt. Trotzdem warten wir auf unser Essen deutlich über 30 Minuten. Die Bowl mit Melone und Räucherlachs (20.90€) meiner Frau ist gut angerichtet und schmeckt, verdient vier Sterne. ich habe mir Rinderleber mit Kartoffelschnee und einer Zwiebelhaube (17,90€) ausgesucht. Ein Fehler. Die Leber, nicht mal annähernd scheibenmäßig geschnitten, scharf an- und kräftig durchgebraten. Die Zwiebeln geschmacklos, das trifft auch auf den Kartoffelschnee aus einer durch eine Siebpresse durchgequälten Kartoffeln zu. Wenn das Schnee ist, dann dürfen wir im nächsten Winter bei Niederschlag nicht vor die Tür. Alles in allem pfurztrocken. Man sollte wenigstens eine kleine Schale Bratensoße dazu servieren. Das der Koch das Gericht, nach Angaben der freundlichen Bedienung, aus seiner Heimat wohl anders als wir zubereitet kennt, tröstet mich nur wenig. Also Null Sterne dafür.

An institution in Travemünde. Great atmosphere, great service, excellent food at reasonable prices. I've been coming here as a vacationer for over 30 years. A flagship for Travemünde. An urgent appeal to the city fathers: It must be preserved as a magnet, and in its current form. Many people visit Travemünde precisely for the view of the Trave. This also benefits the trade, as you can easily combine a visit with a shopping trip.

Unfriendly service and long wait times – our experience at this restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. When we were seated, an ashtray was placed on our table, even though we were obviously non-smokers. We had to wait a long time for our order, and when we asked for our Alsterwasser, it only arrived after repeated requests. The waiter's comment, "That's what you wanted, right? Yes or no?" was beyond inappropriate. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the staff began to argue and defend themselves instead of apologizing and offering solutions. With that, we left the restaurant without having eaten. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this restaurant.

Fair prices, decent food, nice location on the Trave. It's amazing, though, how small a portion of fried potatoes can be for three people! A dingy atmosphere, with cobwebs and animal feathers hanging from the open-air roof, which is in need of cleaning. The floating restaurant is very dated. You have to be lucky to get a friendly waitress. We had the older model, which appeared after 15 minutes with the note "take it easy." Then, because we weren't sure she'd heard the first part of our order, she lectured the three of us: "Do you want six of that?" No card payments accepted, which fits the restaurant's 1960s look.

Lovely little restaurant, located right on the water. Our food was delicious. Very friendly staff. We really enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio and service here are completely off-par. We ordered two cordon bleu portions for almost €20 each and could hardly believe our eyes when the tiny portion arrived, with a few lettuce leaves and no dressing on the plate. The meat was unseasoned and tasted of nothing. We had to share the small bowl of fries, and the dollop of ketchup and mayo that came with it cost extra, of course. We really wondered if it was a senior citizen's plate. The older lady serving wasn't very friendly or cheerful either. Although it wasn't busy, I was brought the wrong drink and other guests were given the wrong food. Most of the tables were reserved, but during our stay (about 1.5 hours), no one came. I can't recommend this restaurant.

Brown, greasy, old lettuce, extremely greasy and cold potatoes, fish that looked like it came from a deep fryer and was over-salted, looked old and poorly presented, and tasted bad either. The coffee is undrinkable.

We visited this interesting floating restaurant twice during our vacation and were absolutely satisfied. The dishes served were delicious (fish, schnitzel, and vegetarian) and the portions were generous. What definitely deserves mention is the magnificent view, especially from the upper level. We would definitely visit the restaurant again on our next visit, but advance reservations are recommended.

It's easy to miss, but then you're out of luck: Very, very delicious food in a rustic atmosphere. It was fun, and we'll be happy to come back.

Rudeness is one thing, but this was the height of rudeness! A minute after ordering, we politely asked if we could switch to the daily special (same fish and side dishes). The response was indescribable. That was the third and final act of insolence from this person – we immediately left the restaurant. How can someone fail at their job like that!?

Here, you eat on a boat with a stunning view of the water and other ships. The food—most people had plaice—was excellent. The staff is super friendly. Definitely a recommendation. 👍🏼

Simple restaurant on the water. The service was nice, courteous and helpful. It was moderately busy that evening. It was easy to let your eyes wander and watch the ships passing by I would describe the cuisine as simple, down-to-earth, perhaps a bit old school, but with heart. My soup lacked a bit of sophistication and was a bit too thick. My herring fillet with fried potatoes was very tasty, some of the fried potatoes could have been a little crispier. Overall it was ok, the atmosphere was nice, you could switch off for a moment.

We are at short notice due to... Had dinner. We received a super friendly welcome even though it was full. The food was sensational, May plaice was eaten, very tender and tasty. We came here today in the off-season. From the outside it looks rustic, but some of the dishes are interpreted in a modern way, like the Ostseebowl that I ordered. The dishes were really delicious and you could tell that all the ingredients were fresh and of very good quality. You can't complain about the value for money here at all! There was also a season ticket, which is not a given. The service was wonderful too. Friendly and quick service. Although there is a lot of competition in the area, we can imagine eating here again.

Why, surely. Cheap and great quality. Were there every day in 2024 at the end of May. Looking forward to next month

The restaurant makes a nice impression at first glance, but unfortunately the food was rather mixed. Unfortunately, the meat was mediocre - a bit tough and not particularly well seasoned. The fish, on the other hand, was okay, fresh and tasted quite solid. What should definitely be highlighted positively is the friendly service, which made an effort despite the full house. A real negative point, however, was the long waiting time - we had to wait quite a long time for both the food and the bill. Overall okay, but with room for improvement.

Great location to eat and drink on the water. You can sit both inside and outside. The service is quick. A little asking and attention after serving would be nice. No questions, no clearing away. The food was well crafted and tasted good, but the small portion size doesn't represent a good price ratio. Three small steaks with potatoes for almost 26 euros is too much for me.

We had fried herrings with fried potatoes and a cucumber salad. There is also a senior plate. It was very tasty and recommended. The service is friendly and accommodating.

Good cuisine and price performance is also OK. When the weather is nice you can sit on the deck and watch what's going on on the shopping street and on the water and enjoy the sun.

An all-round lovely restaurant visit with a genuine view of the Trave River. The location, the view, and the somewhat dated but positively charming ambiance made the dining experience truly special. The service was very friendly, not intrusive, but warm. The prices are entirely reasonable considering the restaurant's location, portion size, and taste. They offer fresh fish, well-known classics, and vegetarian dishes.

A great, because unusual restaurant, after more than 25 years it is already a certain landmark of Travemünde. The food is good and the staff is friendly, even the four-legged friend gets a bowl of water. No matter whether you sit inside or outside, you always have the best view of ships passing by. The big landmark, the four-masted barque PASSAT, is not far opposite. It's just a shame that the restaurant will soon be closing forever. The current operator will soon retire and the Hanseatic city of Lübeck is inexplicably making the sale difficult. Those responsible should be ashamed😥 My guess is that this floating cafe and restaurant is about to lose its berth with all force. Since the city wants to convert the cruise ship terminal for larger ships, the Traveblick has to go. The last mayors all had a monument built for themselves at some point. Disgusting

We had a delicious meal here this evening! My partner Hamburger Schnitzel and I had a good fish soup and redfish on savoy cabbage! It's a great atmosphere, the huge ferries pass by on the Trave!

Rarely was served so unfriendly by an older lady on Sunday evening on March 2nd, 2025 at around 7 p.m. No kind word, no smile, no how did it taste and no wish for a nice evening. Ambience good and food okay.

Best view, fair prices, nice service. You sit in the front row on the restaurant ship and enjoy the all -round view of the hustle and bustle in the harbor. The cuisine is down-to-earth and good. We were very satisfied. Top price/performance ratio.

Had dinner here today, unfortunately our son had to leave straight away because he felt sick from the very slight rocking of the restaurant. However, we didn't notice much of the rocking. I would like to highlight the service. We had already ordered food and our son was able to take his food to the apartment on a plate, thank you very much for that! The staff were very friendly and helpful, I was even shown how to fillet plaice. The ambience is something very special, the ships passing by are amazing!!! Keep it up!!

A find on the side of the road. Friendly service, the food (4x crispy schnitzel) was very tasty and generous portions at a moderate price. One star deducted because of the very long wait for our food, but as a vacationer there's no rush unless the parking meter is about to expire, the car had to be parked a little outside and the public order office is everywhere.

Schon alleine der Blick und die Atmosphäre machen einen Besuch lohnenswert. Supernetter Service und eine sehr leckere Portion Grünkohl mit Wurst und Top-Bratkartoffeln rundeten das Erlebnis ab!

Nice little restaurant, located in the water. Phenomenal view of the ships passing by. Super delicious food and nice, friendly service. Price-performance ratio also fits. Can only be recommended. We will definitely come back next year. Hopefully this will work out with the new tenant so that the “Traveblick” will remain with us for a long time.

We felt extremely comfortable here. A great place to “watch ships” and fortify yourself or quench your thirst. The service team is friendly and committed, the food is delicious. We got one of the last free tables, so a reservation seems advisable.

You still got a nice, cozy table without a reservation. The waitresses were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was an absolute dream, well portioned, beautifully prepared and served. Absolutely recommended, we will be back.

Beautifully located restaurant on a panoramic ship directly on the Trave. The menu offers many fish dishes, but also various meat dishes. It's best to reserve a table, even in the low season. The service is old school and was quite friendly. The drinks came to the table quickly and the dishes also in a reasonable time. In terms of taste, the dishes were rather okay. The fried potatoes were fried differently, some not cooked through or burnt. The herring was very salty. When the service was pointed out, no understanding was conveyed. The portion size is good.

By chance we discovered the ship's restaurant yesterday; everything on the promenade was very busy and very hectic. We arrived there in bright sunshine, received a very friendly welcome and were even able to choose a table outside on deck. It's a very good menu with a great selection, whether fish or meat... We chose cod fillet and the Ostseebowl and both were sensational and also a great portion. We had a sunny spot and a fantastic view of the Trave. The two ladies in service were consistently friendly. We were very happy to have visited you! From the outside we wouldn't have expected the restaurant to have such fantastic cuisine, we were very impressed and were very happy! We would also like to emphasize once again the very good price-performance ratio! Thank you very much for the wonderful end to a fantastic vacation! We'll definitely come back next time!

We did everything right when we went to this cozy restaurant for the first time on Friday the 13th, even if we didn't have a reservation. But we just got the last table for two with a direct view of the Trave: simply fantastic. We were served quickly and very friendly, always with a smile on our faces. Our food came really quickly, everything was appetizingly prepared and you could taste the fresh preparation. What a culinary delight! Highly recommended: the zander rolls. When we are in Travemünde again, we will definitely let ourselves be pampered HERE again.

Wir haben alles richtig gemacht, als wir am Freitag, den 13. zum 1. Mal in diesem gemütlich eingerichteten Restaurant waren, wenn auch ohne Reservierung. Aber wir bekamen grad noch den letzten 2-er Tisch mit direktem Blick auf die Trave: einfach traumhaft. Wir wurden zügig und sehr freundlich bedient, stets mit nem Lächeln im Gesicht. Unser Essen kam wirklich schnell, alles war appetitlich angerichtet und man schmeckte die frische Zubereitung. Welch ein kulinarischer Genuss! Sehr zu empfehlen: das Zanderröllchen. Wenn wir mal wieder in Travemünde sind, werden wir uns garantiert HIER wieder verwöhnen lassen.

Dear Traveblick team, the Traveblick must definitely be preserved! What would Travemünde be without the Traveblick, which has been on the Trave since 2001? For us, Traveblick is the first place to go out to eat. We have been visiting the restaurant several times a year since 2020 and have already eaten in many other restaurants in Travemünde. But the Traveblick is one of the last restaurants where everything is still made from scratch. Here everything is prepared fresh and with love - it is chopped by hand and there are no convenience goods. This can sometimes lead to longer waiting times, especially because the galley is not very large and the restaurant consists of two ships assembled together. But that's exactly what makes the Traveblick so special: you're here to enjoy and not be in a hurry. That's why it's our favorite restaurant and one we always go to in Travemünde. We are all the sadder about the news that reservations will no longer be accepted for 2025. It looks like no one will be able to take over the restaurant. The owner has to take care of her family and no longer has the strength to continue running the restaurant. We would therefore like to urgently ask that all options be examined in order to preserve the Traveblick. It is an important part of our Travemünde world of experience and has a special meaning for many of us. Since it is a unique restaurant that has a permanent place in the hearts of many visitors and locals alike, it would of course be a shame if such a special piece of Travemünde were lost. Perhaps a solution can still be found through joint commitment.
