Food was average, but very nice view and little bit overpriced

We had delicious spaghetti ice cream and a latte. 😋 The service was also very good, everyone was very friendly.

Highly recommended restaurant! Great atmosphere, excellent food (we had lamb shank and zander fillet with chanterelle mushrooms), and exceptionally attentive and polite staff! Keep up the good work!

We were passing through by bike. We took our lunch break in the restaurant's outdoor area. The menu included some light, summery dishes that particularly appealed to us. The service was very friendly and competent, and small special requests were fulfilled quickly and courteously. The quality and presentation of the food were very good. We would happily recommend the Restaurant & Cafe Am Yachthafen Waren!

Highly recommended. Good selection of dishes: fish, meat, and vegetarian. Available on both the regular and daily menus. Very tasty, with a variety of well-balanced ingredients in the dishes, and perfectly cooked. The price and wait time are reasonable. Regarding the service: professional and thoughtful. We ordered a meal to go for a sick family member who had to stay home at short notice. The meal was brought promptly _at the end_ when we paid, neatly packaged, and ready to take away piping hot. That's service! The ambiance is pleasant, spacious, and not too crowded, with a view of the harbor promenade. Very nice, also a great place to linger. We would gladly return.

We actually only stopped in for an espresso, but then we were inspired by the food served at the tables. My ratatouille was even better than the marina salad; simply perfect. We sat up on the terrace against the house wall, rather than under the parasols. I particularly deserve mention of the very good, efficient, and friendly service provided by the young man from Neubrandenburg. I'd say the world is his oyster, and he'll achieve a lot in his life.

Dear team! You're wonderful, highly motivated in the morning, and your restrooms are always spotless! I have one request: Instead of offering a supposedly premium tea in a huge plastic bag with a plastic tea bag (which tears as soon as you try to remove the label from the bag), please use a REALLY good Earl Grey from the German brand Bünting. It's not only higher quality with less bitterness, but also more flavorful thanks to cellulose instead of plastic in the hot water (yuck). And it's available in packs of 100 without the annoying outer packaging and is much cheaper 😀 Plus, the environment benefits. Even the individually wrapped biscuit can be exchanged for a "loose" one. Your waste for a single tea is insane!!!

Nice location. We were there on a warm May evening just to eat ice cream. Sitting outside with a view of the water. Splendid. The ice cream was delicious, the staff was nice and attentive.

Very pleasant and cozy, friendly service, food came quickly and everyone (both young and old) enjoyed it.

We were here from April 4th, 2025 to April 6th, 2025 and celebrated our parents' golden wedding anniversary in the restaurant on April 5th, 2025. Everything was reserved as agreed and the food is delicious. We had a separate room and there was an a la carte menu, great, the portions were plentiful and everyone tasted great. The service was great, Mohamed and of course the rest of the staff were very careful and managed everything to our satisfaction. It was a great weekend in Waren and the restaurant and café are highly recommended. Thank you for the worry-free package and the great care in the evenings and of course also for breakfast.

We visited this restaurant on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The food was so good that we made a second visit the next evening. Here too there was nothing left on the plates and we were happy with our decision for this excellent choice. Kudos to the chef. But what remains to be mentioned is the really friendly and polite staff, especially the charming waiter who comes from Dubrovnik. We can only recommend the restaurant, I am completely serious about this hymn of praise, try it out for yourself. Addition, repeat today on November 2nd. 2024 We were again absolutely satisfied. After 5 hours there is different staff, but they are just as polite, the food was again excellent. The 3 course menu is highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

We only drank a cappuccino. The café is of course in a great location at the harbor. It is very large and has many guests. I was surprised that there were only two toilets.

The food and service were really excellent. The ambience and the location at the marina are of course a dream. Addendum: Due to our enthusiasm on our first visit (Wednesday, late afternoon), we wanted to end our last holiday evening (Friday) with this culinary delight. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The time between the 1st & 2nd. The aisle was simply too long, other tables that came long after us received their food before us. The service did come into the room from time to time, but seemed to only be interested in the first three tables at the front. The steak then arrived noticeably cool, and the saffron risotto wasn't of the same good quality as on the first visit. If there are delays for any reason, I would simply like to be communicated in advance. The apologies afterwards just didn't seem sincere.

Question: Can you pay by card here? Waiter: Yes, from 20 euros. I was alone and just wanted a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. Sorry, can't be taken seriously these days.

A nice restaurant in itself, the food was very good, only the service was a bit slow, we had to call the waitress several times because the drink glasses were empty and we had waited patiently for about 20 minutes, otherwise the staff were very friendly. We dined there with 8 people and when the restaurant closed we were asked to leave several times.

You could enjoy what was probably the last warm summer weekend at the marina. The food was excellent, the staff were eager to serve and very friendly and the atmosphere was excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff, perfect location directly at the yacht harbour with view onto the water and the boats. We didn't have a starter and chose the main from special offers. Schnitzel as well a the Zander were great. Quantity of the food was also plenty. One of the few location which are not Pizza, Pasta & Co. Need to really point out the waiters, which were fast and very friendly. Thanks for a great experience in Waren.

Had a spontaneous meal there yesterday...the staff was extremely friendly and helpful...the food was also really tasty...the price was great...and on top of that there was live music from a talented street musician with a view of the water:) We were super satisfied, a nice end to the day...can only be recommended:)

We had the Schnitzel and beef filet, each with mushrooms and potatoes. Both were super delicious. While the price wasn't cheap, it was clearly worth it and the portions were very big. Location and atmosphere directly at the lake also super. This well-deserved 5*.

The restaurant is not too big and has a nice atmosphere. All the waiters are nice and the food came quickly. Unfortunately, the noodles didn't taste like much and the portion was too small.

We had a really good meal there. Fish, meat, pasta all dishes of good quality and taste. Rich quantity, quality, therefore price/performance absolutely OK. Service also good, fast and friendly.

We had arranged to have dinner on Sunday evening and were there with our friend. The reserved table was already set, so far so good. But then the service approached, my wife was pointed out quite harshly, first the drinks and then the food. As requested by the waitress, the drinks were ordered first and then the food. Fried potatoes were ordered instead of rosemary potatoes for a meal. With the bread that had been served beforehand, we asked for a plate to dip the bread in olive oil. The bread was very tasty, so we ordered more bread. The bread came and the young woman wanted to take the plate back with her, but we still needed the plate for the olive oil. It went back and forth a few times until the waitress accepted it. The whole thing was acknowledged with an unfriendly loud snort as he left. The food came, without fried potatoes. When we asked, we were told there were no fried potatoes here. The food was very good 👍 but we have never been treated so disrespectfully and snidely in a restaurant. We won't eat here again, the evening was ruined for us.

Simply delicious. The food was plentiful and the price was therefore completely ok. The ambience is great and the service is really great. Our server Katrin was very nice, friendly and accommodating and the rest of her team was also extremely friendly and helpful.

Totally nice place to dine. Unfortunately the prices are too high for normal food in the end. Chanterelles were not cleaned properly and I would like fresher and higher quality tomatoes for a bruschetta. But the Riesling is really highly recommended!

The food was very good, but expensive. The waiter makes distinctions. Some get a limoncello and others don't. Not us, even though we ate and drank there for over 100 euros.

We were there for the first time this evening and followed the good reviews. We were welcomed very nicely. We had free choice of seats. The facts. We were served extremely friendly by Mr. Jumaa that evening!! The gentleman loves his work and does a great job! Big praise from us! The drinks came very quickly, that food too. The dish was simply delicious, huge fresh portion that I couldn't even finish. I recommend everyone to visit this place! And to Jumaa, thank you very much for the great accompaniment to the evening! Were in Waren again for a week and this time we ate here every day. There are a few Italians around the harbor, but this house is special. An old house with a stylish hotel and appropriate furniture. Large terrace. The menu is not large, but it is seasonal and the food is really excellent. Regardless of whether it's fish or meat, we recommend everything. But the greatest praise goes to the staff! So carefully friendly, courteous and caring - that's really rare these days. THIS is how you want services! Thanks and keep it up!

Eating out is a luxury that not everyone can afford. Then I want to feel completely comfortable and that's what I feel there every time. Thanks for that...

Wir waren zum Mittagessen spontan an einem Samstag Mittag hier. Sofort wurde sich vom freundlichen Personal gekümmert einen Platz für uns zu finden. Wir haben einen schönen Tisch bekommen und der Service war sehr höflich und sehr zügig. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir waren überaus zufrieden.

Das Essen kam schnell und war super lecker (Bruschetta, Schnitzel, Rumpsteak). Der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, aber nicht zu aufdringlich. Preis/Leistung top. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder. :)

An sich ein schönes Lokal aber wenn um 22.00 Uhr geschlossen werden soll und um halb acht schon die Einräumerei los geht, ist das sehr ungemütlich.. ich verstehe, wenn man früher Feierabend haben möchte aber bitte mit etwas Fingerspitzengefühl.
