I had the vegetarian vegetable spaghetti bolognese. This was not salted at all, not very tasty and unfortunately cold. Unfortunately, this is the only vegetarian dish on the menu. The coleslaw, however, was very tasty. Unfortunately, the potato salad wasn't very tasty and couldn't be identified as potato salad when your eyes were closed.

Friendly waitress. Everything was possible. advice about less fat Food and allergies. Even when we thought the dessert was too big for each of us, it was no problem to serve a second plate with one dessert. Delicious potato salad and delicious meat served on very special plates. The price was also very pleasant. Always again. Definitely recommended in Nuremberg.

Affordable and very tasty bratwurst roll.

Short on time in Nuremberg and looking to try some real regional food? This is definitely the place to go. During all my visits (although there haven't been many actually) I've come to this restaurant, and I always look forward to coming back. Not only is it located really close to Nuremberg's central train station (very convenient when you're short on time), but it's also located in the Handwerkerhof Nuremberg, a medieval shopping area (which I hope to review soon) connected by bridges and protected by cobbled walls and large trees. Location aside, the food is simply delicious. We decided to share this time the Bavarian sausages accompanied by Sauerkraut, bread and mustard. Don't miss the local beer. Also, the staff is always willing to suggest some drinks or main dishes. A fascinating place to spend the afternoon trying the local food, drinking beer and enjoying the weather when possible. Finally, keep in mind that they accept card payments from 10€. I can't wait to go back!

It's a shame I didn't remember to take photos inside but it's very cozy in there, it's inside the imperial castle, apparently the castle square. Their traditional sausages are very delicious by the way.

Friendly and efficient service from the staff. Cedo, our server was kind enough to serve us in perfect French. It's the first time in a week in Germany that the staff ask us if we are enjoying our food and if we needed something else. The food was really good too. 😋 We definitely recommend!

Highly recommended, one of my best dinning experience in Germany during my 1 week trip. Everyone here are friendly, like a family restaurant(I guess it is), their take away 3.5 euro sausage bread tastes very good, the potato dumpling from the pork shoulders are very good, sauce are good, potato salad and soup are perfect. I must come back if I have a chance to visit here again!

Extremely romantic, delicious and traditional!

Here you can get the world-famous 3 in Weckla, which are 3 Nuremberg bratwursts in a bun. They taste like a dream and are best served with a beer (Franconian A Seidla)

Terrible. Never order anything from this German hole

This traditional German restaurant is located opposite the train station, in a beautifully landscaped area! It has a menu of German delicacies, with sausage of course being the star. What excited me the most was the fact that the kitchen is open, whenever you can watch your food being cooked, while the waitresses wear traditional costumes. The beer was equally good, on draft and chilled, as it should be. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful, while the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, you are very rudely informed that you are not welcome there if you just want to have a drink. It's a shame because it's a nice location

I used this service with a friend, but the female customer service was sloppy and I started to dislike it. As soon as the meal was finished, they put down their dishes, made them pay, and were kicked out. I wanted to take it more slowly, but it ended in a bad mood.

Terribly unfriendly service. I just wanted to quickly feed my hungry two-year-old the sausage roll I had bought inside. Although there were enough free seats outside and it would have taken us a maximum of 5 minutes, we were told twice that we weren't allowed to eat here. Finally, the waitress slapped the cleaning cloth on the table for us to wipe it off. To make matters worse, the bratwurst roll was also bone dry and burnt. I can only advise against it

The atmosphere was good and there were a lot of people, so I had to come and it was really nice. I came here after eating the oldest traditional sausage and being a little disappointed with the service. The owner is very friendly and takes pride in the restaurant. They say a lot of local people come here. Nevertheless, he was kinder when dealing with foreigners. He explained the restaurant culture. The taste is still delicious. The grill flavor is so rich. Even though I was full, the taste was amazing. There is a reason why there are so many local people. The atmosphere is cute and pretty. Please come~♡♡

Very rude and unpolite personnel. It seemed to us like we were disturbing. Bought anyhow some wurst with bread to eat on the go and went away immediately. We Will never get there again. Really disappointing.

The place is very pretty, the first waitress we asked for a table completely forgot about us... another waitress to make up for the false start. Delicious sauerkraut, very good horseradish sauce. On the other hand, you have been warned, they do not take credit cards.

Unfortunately I have to give at least one star. The 3 sausages in the Weckla to take away for 3.50 are definitely not recommended. The rolls were so dry at 12 noon that they couldn't possibly have been from today. The sausage wasn't anything special either. It's a shame, we liked the atmosphere in the Handwerkerhof, but it was an absolute failure.

Unfriendly service. We wanted to sit at a table with our 2 children and two of us had a drink. The waiter said that we had to leave, after all, this was a restaurant, and laughed mockingly as he turned his back on us and left. I understand that the store wants to make more sales and would rather see the tables occupied by guests who are also dining, but that doesn't justify such demeaning behavior. Fortunately, there are enough places in Nuremberg with much friendlier staff.

Staff was rude. They didn’t announce the kitchen was gonna close, so we couldn’t get a desert. Also they were upset that we didn’t leave a tip.

Staff who absolutely don't care about their customers, without even saying hello. Run away faster than Usain Bolt, it can only be beneficial for you (asking for cash when there's a Bancontact machine nearby, that's a bit much isn't it!?)

You get your bratwurst in a roll on a plate... then you sit down to eat it and 2 minutes later the waiter in an undesirable style chases away from everyone else sitting there that we ONLY paid €3.50 instead of €5.50 and that's why it's okay go and not to be consumed on site! Firstly, no one said anything that it was only to go...secondly, why do you get a plate with it? Of course, no one can or wants to go for a walk with a plate... thirdly, you could say it differently, like a real host... nicer and friendlier, and not in the way that shouts in front of the entire customer base... then you would accept it better. The restaurant at the time was about 10% occupied, so out of about 20 tables at 2 people were eating... but apparently just staying human and normal isn't for everyone...

The extremely unfriendly waiter refused to serve us. First the information that there is no more food, only drinks. We accepted it, only one of us six guests bought a bratwurst roll straight from the grill in the restaurant. The waiter then said that bringing food with you was not allowed (even if it came from your own restaurant!?) and now we can't get anything to drink. Huh??? ...this is how you scare away local guests, but the restaurant apparently doesn't need it. Enough tourists put up with this, it's a shame.

I can't judge the food, drinks were well chilled and delivered quickly to the table. Everything ok so far 👌.

The spectacular service, the incredible sausages and the spectacular Apple strudel, if you come to Nuremberg you have to come to this place and the price is very good.

There were so many customers that it was a bit of a hassle.

As soon as you approach the wonderful smell of the beech wood grill, you immediately feel hungry. There's nothing to complain about in terms of price either. Service very welcoming and charming. All in all a Nuremberg gem that you should visit.

Very busy restaurant in the shadow of the city wall, some dishes that are offered as specialties are unfortunately overpriced! Price-performance ratio is otherwise ok, the female staff is not very friendly shortly before shift change!

If I could give this restaurant a negative score, I would. I sat down, and I asked this tall, older blonde haired lady who was serving my table, if there was a charge for water (as we don’t pay for tap water in North America) - she said yes, so I told her I was good without water. She brings me a bottle of water, to which I said “no sorry, I said I didn’t want to pay for water”. She got mad at me when I said this, and snapped at me saying “well this is a restaurant, what do you expect?!”. She then had the audacity to say harshly “what do you want” and stared at me like I was a complete idiot. I got up, and walked away immediately. Tonight was my first night in Nuremberg - thank you for being rude to a new comer who was ready to order food after a long day of travel. DO NOT COME HERE. Oh also, the menu prices on their website are not accurate - add on 2-3 euro for everything and then you’re closer to the actual price they’re charging

Bit small portions... but tasted fantastic... they had run out of a dish already at 6pm we had been looking forward to tasting... then ordered something else and they forgot the side dish.. But quick and friendly service... despite the busyness

At a famous restaurant near the Craftsman Square, we ordered Nuremberg sausages, which were a little salty. We wanted to order pork shoulder and pork trotters, but were told that they were sold out. It was a pity...

Their bratwurst is always good, leberknodlesuppe not always perfect in texture, excellent sauerkraut. I don’t eat anything else whenever I’m there.

Extremely unfriendly service. We were there at 11:15 a.m. and when we said that we just wanted something to drink, we were fobbed off with the words "It's not possible." Then, without any further words, the menus were torn away and the waiter simply left. We certainly understand that drinks are not welcome at lunchtime. However, the way in which this was conveyed was absolutely unacceptable and unfriendly. Since the place is very touristy, friendliness and service orientation don't seem to be necessary since there is enough customer traffic anyway. Absolutely disappointing for us.

Perfect lunch spot in Nürnberg. Sit inside for the proper Bavarian experience - the decore is almost too cute to be true. Authentic Bavarian food and setting, with genuine fire grilled bratwürst. Feels like stepping back in time. Staff also very lovely - both efficient and friendly. We had the smoked bratwürst with Sauerkraut & grilled sausages with potato salad. Delicious, and reasonably priced. I can't upload a picture because we ate it too fast 😂 Highly recommend ❤️

As a Nuremberg native, I just shake my head. The food was ok - but there is better elsewhere. The service/staff is not working at all. Very unfriendly, unmotivated, the food and drink is almost thrown at you. I don't want to start with the sanitary facilities - underground. People are happy to pay more for quality and quantity. That is not the case here and we will not recommend it. Very unfortunate

The list of dishes on the menu is quite limited, but the dishes themselves are quite tasty. A place to try Bavarian sausages or beer. The price is more for the atmosphere than the amount of food. But as a tourist corner - good.

Very tasty food after teething problems on Tuesday July 16th, 2024.....actually we just wanted to have a drink on the way to the hotel.....but😞...very bad service....there was nothing at 8:45 p.m. even though it was until Open 10 p.m. according to the internet.Very conceited waiter.Then the revelation on Wednesday July 17th, 2024.....delicious food and a super waiter.... wow 🤩......very nice.... great service despite very a lot of audience.....the young man tore out a lot👍🏻....but then.... Thursday July 18th, 2024.....OMG....hard-working waitress.It was OK....until... Fatzke from Tuesday intervened again in the action😡.....reprimanded me because I put my leg up on the bench after a nice day in Nuremberg with lots of miles of running. For your information...I had a sports accident in 1981 in which my right Knee joint was very badly affected. Still fat😂.....but Nuremberg is worth a trip and if you get the right waiter at Bratwurstglöcklein it's also very good.

Older Waitress with brown hair and greeny cloured glasses was a rude cow im guessing because we are tourist because she was nice as pie to her follow Germans, we would never treat tourists like this in my country (New Zealand) Food was yuck dry hard bun that we could not eat and tasteless sausages. There were 3 positives at this place 1. Big classes of Coke 2. Scenery 3. Leaving If I could have a gi en a zero rati g I would have.

The place is located near the walls of the old city. Local food, typical of the Nuremberg region. Easy to get to, you can expect many guests.

Of course it's touristy, just like the little house was, but all the locals still go there. The quality is convincing and you were always immediately valued as a guest and really, who wants to talk about the price here?! We're not talking about the outrageous price drivers like “the economy” or subterranean service with poor quality at Zeltner etc 🫣 Really now, unfortunately there are almost no alternatives left

I did not care for the Nuremberg sausages here. I really was wanting pork roast but they had ran out of it. The atmosphere really is what is cool about this place because it is set in between the walls of the Nuremberg Old Town and it feels as though you're sitting right in the Middle ages eating off of pewter plates. I would highly recommend getting a beer here and a roll with the Nuremberg sausages in it. Do not get the meal.

I'm sharing my experience at Bratwurstglöcklein. We arrived at the restaurant around 8:00 PM and ordered food and beer. The food came quickly. The bratwursts were delicious and we were very happy with the fare. However, we realized we found our appetites and hadn't ordered enough food. We tried to get the waitress's attention multiple times (6-10 times), but she ignored us, even as other tables were served and left. Finally, at 8:45 PM, we managed to get her attention to order more food, only to be told the kitchen was closed, despite it actually closing at 9:00 PM. I asked if I could have some bread for my hungry 1.5-year-old, but she walked away without taking an order. My father eventually went inside and spoke with the bartender, and we were able to place and receive extra food and beverage. I'm sharing my experience because I felt we were treated differently from other patrons, possibly because I'm Chinese and my son is biracial (my husband is white, British and American). No one should be treated differently based on race, gender, age, or sexuality. My son won’t remember this, but I will. This was my first trip to Germany, and I believed here we would be treated equally. I certainly hope that when my son is my age and travels with his family, this won’t happen to him. Change starts somewhere, and I hope this note contributes to a better tomorrow. P.S. The bartender stopped by our table and acknowledged our frustration and made it up to us.

Atmospheric pub. We came in by chance and didn’t regret it. The place is not touristy, it is clearly a favorite place of the locals. We tried Nuremberg sausages and potato salad. Most of all we liked the delicious red beer. I recommend it
