''Restaurant Boulevard'' in Friedrichroda

Wir waren zu viert, mit 2 Kindern, dort. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch gekocht.

Super gemütliches Restaurant in der City. Essen war sehr lecker. Einziges Manko ist, dass keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist. Es sind aber 2 Benken in direkter Nähe.

Wir waren eine größere Gruppe und hatten Schnitzel unterschiedlicher Art. Jedes davon war an einer Seite großflächig angebrannt. Dadurch schmeckte es trotz Sauce nach verbrannter Panade. Das XXL Schnitzel hatte keinen Größenunterschied zum normalen Schnitzel trotz 4€ Aufpreis. Ein bestelltes alkoholfreies Weizen entpuppte sich nach dem ersten Schluck als alkoholhaltiges! Auf Nachfrage hieß es nur, das ist alkoholfrei - vertrau mir. Wie sich nach erneuter Rücksprache herausstellte, war es doch mit Alkohol. Die alkoholfreien Getränke, die nicht aus einer frisch geöffneten Flasche kamen, waren allesamt ohne Kohlensäure und schmeckten abgestanden. Wir wählten diesen Laden aus, weil die anderen Lokale der Örtlichkeit bereits zu voll für uns waren. Warum dieser Laden leer war, war im Anschluss des Besuchs klar.

Auch wenn das Ambiente etwas steril wirkte, dafür waren Service , Speisen und Getränke (und Preise) um so besser. Vielleicht ist der Name auch nicht so zugkräftig, wie manch andere Gaststätte, und führt vielleicht zur Unterschätzung ... Empfehlenswert!

Wir haben dort Schnitzel gegessen. Die Pommes waren sehr dunkel und das Fleisch zu trocken. Die Soße war geschmacklich gut aber etwas zu dickflüssig. Wir wurden gefragt, ob wir Pommes oder Bratkartoffeln möchten. Leider wurde uns nicht gesagt, dass die Bratkartoffeln 2 € extra kosten. Die laute Hintergrundmusik ("Neue Deutsche Welle ") war etwas nervig. Die Bedienung war aber wirklich sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Ein äußerlich schlichtes Restaurant, auch im Inneren wird auf übermäßige Deko verzichtet. Die Bedienung superfreundlich, unseren Enkeln wurde als erstes Spielzeug (in diesen Fall Magnetbausteine) gereicht, so dass die Kinder sofort beschäftigt waren. Bestellung erfolgte zügig, genauso wie das Bringen der Getränke. Das Essen der Kinder wurde ohne Aufforderung mit den Vorspeisen gebracht, so dass als die Hauptgänge kamen die Kinder bereits versorgt waren und die Eltern in Ruhe essen konnten. Das Essen war bei allen sehr lecker, lediglich mein Rostbrätl war auf der einen Seite etwas kross gebraten (aber nicht verbrannt), naja passiert. Was hier besonders aufgefallen war, das war die Freundlichkeit der Bedienung. Meine Schwiegertochter wäre am liebsten den nächsten Tag wieder dorthin zum Essen gefahren. Dickes Lob dafür. Alles in Allem: absolut empfehlenswert, wenn wir wieder in Friedrichroda sind kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder...

Das Restaurant war gerade am öffnen und wir durften uns draußen schon mal hin setzen. Sehr nette Service. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Preis / Leistung passt.

Angenehme Einrichtung, entspannte Atmosphäre, toller Service, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit im Umgang mit unseren begrenzten Deutschkenntnissen. Wir aßen alle Schnitzel. Gute Portionen, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Auch die Bierkarte war gut!

Das Essen war in Ordnung, Teller waren gut gefüllt. Bratkartoffeln teilweise ein wenig hart. Leider wirkt das Restaurant etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Boden an sehr vielen Stellen kaputt und auch teils sehr alte Inneneinrichtung, die mal erneuert werden sollte. Bedienung war freundlich.

Sehr leckeres Essen, das Wild wird selbst geschossen und der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Und leckeres Bier gibt es auch 😀, zwar aus einer bayrischen Brauerei....aber die könnens halt auch. Super Empfehlung wenn man solde thüringer Küche genießen möchte.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und wurden freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Schön dass es auf der Speisekarte Thüringer Spezialitäten gibt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich hatte noch nie im Leben Schnitzel vom Reh. Jetzt will ich nie wieder ein normales. Sowas von lecker 😋 Speisen und Getränke lohnenswert und bezahlbar.

Wir waren gestern im Restaurant Boulevard und sind absolut begeistert! Das Essen war hervorragend – frisch, geschmacklich auf den Punkt und wunderschön angerichtet. Jeder Gang hat überzeugt und man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail gekocht wird. Der Service war ebenso erstklassig: aufmerksam, herzlich und gleichzeitig angenehm unaufdringlich. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gemütlich, sodass man den Abend in entspannter Atmosphäre richtig genießen kann. Ein rundum gelungener Besuch – wir kommen definitiv wieder und können das Restaurant Boulevard uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Ein gemütliches, wenn auch auf den ersten Blick etwas unscheinbares Restaurant. Superfreundliche Servicemitarbeiter, riesige Portionen und wirklich guter Geschmack - und das alles auch noch zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Empfehlenswert!

Wir waren Urlauber im schönen Friedrichsroda und haben dort 2x zu Abend gegessen, weil es so gut geschmeckt hat! Die Klöße waren Spitze! Man sieht es dem Lokal nicht an, aber man kann hervorragend essen, wird ausnehmend freundlich bedient und das auch noch in einem guten Preis - Leistungsverhältnis!

Wir sind hier spontan am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag eingekehrt. Das Restaurant war geöffnet, es gab Platz und die Karte las sich lecker. Und, wir haben es nicht bereut - dss Essen ist gutbürgerlich aber wirklich lecker. Wir hatten Tomatensuppe (schön fruchtig!) und Roulade mit Rotkraut (die Klöße waren schon aus, die wären sicher auch lecker gewesen) und Steak au four. Es hat gut geschmeckt, der Service war zuvorkommend und die Portionen sind für den Preis wirklich groß! Alles in allem absolut zu empfehlen!

The dining room is very bleak and looks like a train station waiting room. The conditions were nice, but my hands were unkempt and my fingernails were bitten off. 🤮 Which is unacceptable for a waitress. The food was good and plentiful. The wait time was okay at 35 minutes.

Simple but good food. The staff is exceptionally friendly and cheerful. If you don't need gourmet cuisine, this is the place for you.

We had wild boar goulash and the vegetable rice dish. The food was very good and stands out from the crowd. The ambiance is rather so-so. It's a bit sparsely decorated, but the food makes up for it. The venison was some of the best I've eaten in a long time! The prices are also below average for the area.

I have rarely eaten so badly. The vegetables were black and burnt, the homemade quark was too salty. The tonic water only tastes of aspartame and cyclamate. The waitress was friendly, but stands in front of the door and smokes while the guests wait.

The food was very tasty. I had turkey strips with crunchy vegetables...the vegetables were great, but unfortunately, I was looking for the meat...there were maybe 4/5 strips on the plate. The staff unfortunately didn't answer my question about where the meat was, which was a shame. My husband gave me a piece of his giant schnitzel so I could fill myself up. He, in turn, would give his food 5 stars.

Last year we were thrilled. Unfortunately, this time we were very disappointed with the food.

After we made it over the mountain between Finsterbergen and Friedrichroda last Saturday, we spontaneously went to the Boulevard restaurant on the recommendation of Google and without a reservation. We were warmly welcomed and served delicious wild rice with lots of fresh vegetables as well as boiled beef in horseradish sauce with homemade Thuringian dumplings. As mentioned, delicious, in generous portions - highly recommended! Afterwards we had a chat with the innkeeper. The only bad thing: In the end, the yeast toilet the size of a plate didn't fit anymore and we had to go back over the mountain...

Oh, that was nice. I felt like I had been transported back a bit to my GDR childhood. Absolutely recommended. I was there with my son (11). He was also super excited. Somehow by chance we ended up in the “Boulevard”. Thank God. A wonderfully warm welcome and service, absolutely great food like your mother's (the salad was so lovingly prepared) and a very good price And with the rustic charm of bygone times. We'll definitely be back! Thanks. Keep it up!

We were here 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. This time totally disappointed. Croquettes and fish fingers totally burnt. You weren't allowed to look at schnitzel underneath. Totally black border. Too bad. We won't come again.

Man soll sich nicht vom Äußeren täuschen lassen....es sieht nicht sehr einladend aus, aber das Personal ist suuuuper nett und das Essen ist spitze. Wir hatten Wildschweingulasch und Bacon-Schnitzel. Das Gulasch war zart, hatte einen tollen Geschmack und die Soße war sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Die Klöße haben wie selbstgemacht geschmeckt und das Rotkraut war auch gut abgeschmeckt. Das Schnitzel war handpaniert und zart, mit toller Kruste und die Bratkartoffeln sehr lecker.

Somewhat simple and rustic furnishings, but super nice service, particularly delicious food and, for this meal, also reasonably priced.

We ate here on the recommendation of friends. We didn't have a reservation, but that wasn't a problem. Our order was taken quickly and was at the table really quickly. As a starter there was the really tasty seasoned meat. The main courses were the beef roulades with red cabbage and dumplings and the wild boar goulash, also with red cabbage and dumplings. The food was tasty, but the portions could have been a little larger. The waitresses were super nice and quick. The restaurant itself is simply furnished and a bit old, but clean and tidy.

We stayed at the inn two evenings in a row and were always served in a friendly and courteous manner. The service was quick and all of the dishes were thoroughly recommended. We tried 10 different foods and everyone in our group was completely satisfied. At the end the innkeeper even came and thanked us by giving us a round of schnapps. It doesn't get any better. We were there after our civil wedding and I have to say: thank you! The food was fresh and super tasty (all guests announced that they would come again). The table decorations were made with a lot of love and skill. The only thing that has surpassed it is the great owner couple. Friendly, funny and authentic.

The food was very tasty and the service was very nice. But the most important thing for us is that dogs are welcome. Which is unfortunately not the case everywhere.

Service was super nice and quick too. The atmosphere was rather rustic, which wasn't my taste. At times it smelled of cigarette smoke. Had schnitzel with croquettes. The croquettes were still cold inside. The large salad consisted mostly of sauerkraut and beans, which I personally didn't like. Wouldn't go there again.

Cute little restaurant, the food was very good but the restaurant was very cold. The heating was on but it didn't radiate heat into the room. Would still go again but with a jacket. By the way, I had fish and it was great.
