Restaurant Bistra in Bremen

I ate there yesterday and I have to say, even though I come from the Balkans, I have never tasted such delicious burek and cevapcici before. The staff was extremely friendly and even came to my table to ask how it tasted. I can only recommend the restaurant and will always be happy to return.. Kind regards from Wilhelmshaven

Today, my husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time. The service was exceptional. Everyone was very cultured and pleasant. We had no problem with communication. The environment is nice, tidy and clean. After each guest, everything is carefully arranged and cleaned. The toilet is clean. As for food, we decided to combine barbecue and burek. Extremely tasty everything. The burek is delicious, as is the garlic sauce with which the burek was covered. The white meat was very nicely cooked and soft, the kebabs were delicious, the salad as a side dish was delicious as well as the fries which were also delicious. After lunch we decided on dessert. Trileje, as well as Dubai cheesecake, which really delighted us. We are sure to visit this restaurant again.

Very friendly service, large portions and the gorgonzola sauce was to die for. Plus an open kitchen and a nice ambience with a practical passage to an ice cream parlor for dessert on the way home. 😋

Had dinner here with my wife on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was pretty empty so it was no trouble getting a place to sit. They had Balkan folk music playing in the background, which added to the pleasant ambience. The service was friendly and cheerful. We had urnebes, šopksa, pljeskavica, and a pizza burek for dinner. The entrees and pljeskavica meat were fantastic but I found the pizza burek was seasoned with a little too much oregano for my liking. We then shared a trileče for dessert and that was divine. Definitely your best bet for authentic Balkan grub in Bremen.

The food was simply outstanding. We had the pasta in Champion sauce and the grill plate, as well as the starter with the warm bread with cheese. Everything is simply a pleasure. Staff very attentive and the cleanliness in both the restaurant and the sanitary area got full stars. We'd love to come back, keep it up. Greetings from the East Frisians and see you soon

Delicious food from Balkan dishes. There is something for everyone. Welcoming atmosphere and clean gastronomy. Very friendly staff and service. Right next to it is an ice cream shop (they seem to belong together).

We 3 adults and 1 toddler were very surprised.....very nice, attentive and friendly service.....unfortunately there was only one high chair there and occupied. Food came relatively quickly and we were thrilled... very tasty and inexpensive. When we are back in Bremen... we will definitely come back...

The restaurant is great. The food is delicious, the service is warm, the menu is extensive but not unrealistic. The vegetarian platter was phenomenal, the baked peppers were outstanding, the bean stew was different from what I know but also great. We were also recommended a Macedonian rosé that we would not otherwise have ordered, but which surprised us very positively. That was a stroke of luck all around.

Guys, you can't sell the sauce separately. Sauce costs €3 why? A kofta costs €10 and you have to pay an extra €3 for the sauce!!. I recommend you leave it alone. Otherwise the food tasted very good. Service was also very good.

Amazing authentic balkan food. Love it. Their menu is small but authentic and you really have a feeling you are in one of the EXYU countries. A small restaurant with very nice interior, kind service and even some nice music. We enjoyed the whole experience and we will definitlly come back. Parking place is very close, they are on the station so can be easily reached with Train or Bus.

I was there for the FIRST time today and I would love to come back❗ Very good food, super friendly service, very clean❗ Modern atmosphere without a lot of frills. And the ice cream parlor that belongs to the house... It advertises the best homemade ice cream in BREMEN, which I can confirm 100 percent❗ As I said, I'll be coming more often from now on.

Bremen Neustadt has a new restaurant. The bistra. Balkan dishes freshly prepared. Food delicious 😋 Service super friendly and competent. Ambience - friendly furnishings. The toilets are very clean and with disabled toilets, all washing facilities with hot water, rare in restaurants. Conclusion - we would like to come back.

I really enjoyed the food at the Bistra restaurant. We spontaneously noticed it as we drove past and didn't expect to be crowned with a taste explosion. The variety of flavors and the quality of the dishes were excellent. The service was also first class, the staff was attentive and friendly. Most of all we would like to thank dear Hülya, who served and welcomed us warmly and lovingly. This lady is the heart of the restaurant. Overall a highly recommended experience, which I would like to repeat!" I advise every foodie to visit this restaurant to indulge in the beautiful food.

Thank God we chose the Bistra restaurant to hold our wedding reception there, even though we had never been there before and only because we were confident that there would be food from my home country there. We are eternally grateful that we didn't make a mistake with our choice. Although we were there almost an hour earlier than agreed, there were no problems and both the service staff and the kitchen and counter staff reacted extremely quickly and extremely friendly. With 25 adults, we had our own gallery with the feeling that we had the entire restaurant at our disposal, where we were able to eat 3 courses and also get an extra table for the children, who were always served. The entire meal - starter, main course and dessert - was a dream and left nothing to be desired. The service was always excellent and even spontaneous requests were answered with a smile. We spent about 4.5 hours there and all of our wedding guests were overwhelmed by the location and extremely satisfied, which gave us a really wonderful day. With this recession, my wife and I would like to thank the service and the rest of the staff from the bottom of our hearts and please, dear Bistra team, carry on in exactly the same way..... ❤️ 🫶 ♥️

Ich weiss gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll. Die herzliche Begrüßung beim Betreten, der durchgängig gute und freundliche Service, alles war perfekt. Das Essen war unfassbar lecker und preisleistungstechnisch kann dem niemand das Wasser reichen. Wer hier nicht mit vollem Bauch und einem Lächeln im Gesicht raus geht hat etwas falsch gemacht!

Bu mesajı yazdığım an olan 24.Aralık.2023 saat 13.24 'de hissettiklerimi yazıyorum. Lezzetli, muhteşem, en iyisi diye yazılan mesaj ve yorumlara kesinlikle inanmayın. Vasat bir yer diyemem ama muhteşem falan da değil bu yer. Çorbası yağlı ve lezzetli, benden geçer not aldı. Kebapteller denen, bizdeki karışık ızgara tabağı olan şeye gelince, 1. Herşey gereğinden fazla tuzlu, ki ben tuzu severek yiyen biriyim. 2.Sucuk deve veya manda sucuğu gibi hafif ekşi. Tuz sorunu sucukta zirve yapmış. 3. Tavuk göğüs eti sandım, ama hindi de olabilir. Göğüs eti olmasına rağmen, sulu ve lezzetli pişmiş. 4. Köfte bizim İnegöl köftesi ileTekirdağ köftesinin karışımı gibi, bu fiyattaki bir tabağa ekşi kremanın da konması lazımdı. 5. Garnitür olarak verilen salata üzerinde garip şeffaf bir sos vardı, ben çok sevmedim. 6. Patates lezzetliydi. 7 Marco isimli arkadaş çok ilgiliydi. İngilizce iyi anlaştık. 8. Mutfakta Türkçe bilen bir arkadaş (ki kendisi Makedon) çok yardımcı oldu. Ona ayrıca teşekkür ederim. 9. Tuvaleti tertemiz ve pırıl pırıldı. Tebrik ederim. 10. Pazar günleri mönü tam değil, mönüde yazsa da mutfakta o ürünler yok. Hesaba gelince: 1 bira, 1 sebzeli tavuk çorbası, 1 karışık ızgara için ödediğim ücret 30.90+5 bahşiş olarak 36 euro oldu. Servis, ambians ve güleryüz için normal sayılır. Lezzet konusunda aynı şeyi söyleyemeyeceğim. Üzülerek yazıyorum, bir daha gelmeyeceğim yerlerden biri olarak hatıralarım da yer alacak. Diğer üzüntüm de Hülya hanım ile tanışıp Türkçe konuşamamak olacak.

Menuekarte nicht riesig, aber ausreichend, Hauptaugenmerk liegt bei den Cevapcici. Es gibt einige Sossen und Beilagen. Sie schmecken wirklich sehr gut und das Brot dazu ist frisch gemacht und schmeckt sehr lecker. Schön eingerichtet, nicht zu groß, sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Toiletten sehr sauber, Parkplätze vorhanden.

Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend und trägt zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt bei. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die zügige Bedienung, da das Essen sehr schnell serviert wird. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Adresse für die Balkan Küche in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre.

Hervorzuheben ist besonders der familiäre und herzliche Service. Zu empfehlen ist auch die hausgemachte Knoblauchwurst und das super leckere Baklava zum Nachtisch 🤤

Woooow was für cevape !!! alle die auf der Suche nach den perfekten Balkan Geschmack sind, werden hier definitiv fündig. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen..

Man kann dort essen ist aber nichts besonderes

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit leckerem Essen. Wir hatten die Ćevapčići mit leckerem Brot, Ajvar und Paprika mit Schafskäse sowie die gegrillte Hähnchenbrust mit Champignons, Salat und Pommes. Für die Kids gab es Rigatoni mit Bolognese und die Pasta mit Gorgonzola und Rinderfilet-Streifen. Das Fleisch war durchgehend erstklassig und auch die Beilagen waren sehr, sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war außerordentlich freundlich und wir fühlten uns vom Betreten des Restaurants bis zur Verabschiedung sehr herzlich willkommen.

Sehr nettes Personal und leckeres Essen

Wir waren zu zweit vor Ort und haben 2 mal Cevapcici, warmen Schmand mit Paprika und Weißkäse mit Paprika, sowie 2 mal Limonade bestellt. Die Bedienung wirkte sehr freundlich und hat schnell die Bestellung aufgenommen. Die Getränke und das Cevapcici wurden dann gleichzeitig nach ziemlich langer Wartezeit gebracht. Die Bedienung hat zugegeben, dass sie uns vergessen hat und unsere Bestellung unter den anderen Gästen verteilt hat. Kann passieren, aber ist bei nur 4 besetzten Tischen doch etwas ungewöhnlich. Das Cevapcici war wirklich sehr lecker. Aufgrund einer unklaren Darstellung in der Karte haben wir aber Pommes und Salat dazu erwartet, die es dann leider nicht gab. Der Käse und der Schmand wurden dann etwas später gebracht. Diese waren auch lecker, aber ohne eine Beilage wie Brot oder ähnliches kaum essbar. Auf Nachfrage hat die Bedienung gesagt, dass es zum Cevapcici keine Beilagen gibt, da auf dem Teller ein Stück Brot und die beiden Soßen als Beilage enthalten sind. Dabei ist das Brot meiner Meinung nach keine vollwertige Beilage. Die beiden Soßen sind leider nicht im Gericht enthalten und müssen extra bezahlt werden. Das Essen an sich war zwar lecker, aber leider passen die Gerichte nicht wirklich zusammen und sind auch nicht ihr Geld wert. Der Service war zwar freundlich aber trotzdem ziemlich schlecht. Wir werden das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen.

It's the best restaurant in Bremen! It's been 6 months I am in Bremen exploring foods, restaurants... By chance I saw this restaurant while walking by and I really love cevapcici, ızvar so piperki, and the traditional drink strumka... everything is so delicious. Personnels are so gentle and caring. Thank you very much! I wish I found here earlier.

Ein ganz tolles Lokal mit sehr leckerem Essen und wahnsinnig netter Bedienung! Das Essen kam schön angerichtet, nach angemessener Wartezeit, an den Tisch. Uns hat es hervorragend geschmeckt, auch die leckere selbstgemachte Zitronenlimonade ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das einzige Manko, es gibt leider keine Parkplätze am Restaurant und auch in der näheren Umgebung ist es schwer etwas zu finden. Nichtsdestotrotz lohnt es sich aber, sich auf Parkplatzsuche zu begeben, denn das Essen und die äußerst nette Bedienung macht es auf einen Schlag wieder wett.

Ich habe selten so ein tolles Restaurant besucht. Wir waren mit allem zufrieden und es gab wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Die Kellner, das Essen alles einfach Top. Bitte einfach weiter so bleiben.
