Restaurant Beiti in Hamburg

Fantastic restaurant from start to finish. We were there with two adults, two children, and our dog. The service was super friendly and attentive, always keeping an eye on things and responding promptly. The food was outstanding. Overall, much better than many other restaurants on the street.

We shared the mesa to start with, and I have to say, it was really good. The taboleh was amazing, and the other snacks were also delicious. Unfortunately, the main course (halloumi for €17) was a real disappointment and, in my opinion, not worth the price. Four slices of halloumi on soft roasted tomatoes and a salad that was completely uninspired and didn't taste particularly good. Unfortunately, it was nothing special and tasted absolutely average. It felt more like an appetizer. The other people's main courses weren't particularly convincing either. It's a shame, because the appetizers are really good, but I probably wouldn't come back just for that.

The Beiti is always worth a visit and is an integral part of every trip to Hamburg for us. There is a very good selection of Lebanese dishes here, also for vegetarians. I always like to choose the three-course menu: It also offers the well-known and very diverse Mesa bowls as a starter, and baklava, namura and homemade cinnamon ice cream, my personal highlight, are served for dessert. This is all rounded off by a good selection of wines; Here you can also rely on the recommendations of the staff without hesitation. With good food, drink and the very friendly staff, the evening hours fly by... It's just a shame that our favorite waiter Youssef hasn't been there for a while :(

There were eight of us at Beiti. The ambiance is rustic oriental (if such a style exists), and the welcome was warm and attentive. That was also the biggest plus point of the evening. The service was consistently outstanding, a rarity these days. There was nothing wrong with the food. We ate at the same time, and the food was hot and delicious. However, and this deducts a point from me, I expected more of an explosion of flavor. Unfortunately, there was nothing that really stood out. I've experienced things differently at other oriental restaurants. Nevertheless, Beiti is a fantastic restaurant with a great staff and excellent value for money.

We were at Beiti Restaurant today and opted for the 3-course menu – and what can I say, it was simply perfect! Every course was a delight: from the appetizer, prepared with fresh ingredients and meticulous attention to detail, to the main course, which not only tasted amazing but was also a visual highlight, to the dessert, which rounded off the evening wonderfully. The service was excellent – ​​attentive, friendly, yet unobtrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and inviting, just the thing for a relaxing evening. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Beiti!

The food is delicious, but unfortunately, there are twisted ideas about what to order. Huge appetizer platters, which cost around 20 euros, cannot be ordered without a main course, and even if six people order three main courses and the total bill comes to 140 euros, that's not right and would be communicated accordingly. Unfortunately, it leaves a (in my opinion) unnecessary, silly feeling that the delicious taste of the food is overshadowed by a musty note that doesn't fit the restaurant. And then: the food speaks for itself. A falafel tastes amazing even then; I think it's better if it's not a falafel medallion on something.

100% recommendation! We were there with a larger group (a good 20 people), despite canceling and changing the various meal requests at short notice in advance, everything went smoothly and quickly - everyone was able to enjoy the excellent food together in a cozy atmosphere and were looked after nicely and attentively by the team. Without exception there was enthusiastic feedback. Perfect!

We had a wonderful time at Beiti. The food was excellent. Especially the plate with the small bowls - a great selection! Our highlight was the eggplant dish with cinnamon rice. A taste explosion! The service staff was super competent and personable. We will come again!

I fluctuate between 3 and 4 stars. I think reviews are a bit overrated. Location is actually quite pleasant, but a bit out of date. Oriental: all well and good, I like it too, but it lacks highlights and should be spiced up a little. Stale. Music is very sad, makes you feel sleepy, it doesn't have to be that way. After three songs I wanted to cry :-( Food fresh, quite good, solid three stars. However, I didn't really get full. Prices too “classy”, especially for starters and dessert. If portions were a little more "honest", the prices would be totally justified. Less is not always more. Toilet very clean, which is very important to me, overall nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness. Service is nice, but not particularly attentive, lacking a bit of relaxedness. Stiff, why actually. Golden mean can never be wrong...

Mmh, obviously we were disturbed, and we were almost the only guests. Food not particularly fresh, not particularly good, mmh…3 pieces of carrot as a starter? 🤔

Today we were at Beiti - near the Lattenkamp subway. Lebanese specialties in a beautiful atmosphere. It's really cozy there and the dishes are really tasty. We had 2 grill plates - great rice with a mint salad, plus chicken, lamb and sausages - all grilled. The meat was very well seasoned - a great taste adventure. Beiti plate came for dessert - it not only looks good but also tastes great. Definitely we'll come back. Greetings to the service, who is really attentive and nice - you feel at home there. greeting

I went to this restaurant for the first time because of good reviews. Reviews are overrated. I wasn't impressed by the quality. Service and location: The staff were friendly. The restaurant was also clean. Eat: We ordered falafel plate, grill plate and maza. The food wasn't particularly good. Falafel were lukewarm, the grill plate wasn't worth the price (26.50 euros) and the maza (6 bowls) wasn't particularly good either. As a guest, I didn't feel welcome in this restaurant.

We had dinner at this restaurant with friends yesterday. All four of us chose the 3-course menu, which I would like to recommend to you. The appetizer bowls were amazing, then everyone could choose a main course from the menu. For dessert there was cinnamon ice cream, the ice cream ball was much too small ;-)!! Please order a mocha with cardamon for dessert, I didn't do that because I don't drink mocha anymore this late, but I'll definitely do it all again with mocha. Recommendation!,

Contemporary decor and presentation of the food. Tastefully seasoned. Soft drinks from the largest soft drink manufacturer in America are served in 0.2 liter bottles (with glass, of course), but in terms of quantity, this is nothing half and nothing whole.

Eating with heart. Delicious. We ate vegetarian food and after the visit we asked ourselves why we hadn't been here more often.

The food was very tasty. No long waiting times. There were 6 of us with a reservation. Which worked spontaneously. When we had finished eating, each of us would have liked to drink one or two more wines. However, we were no longer served / we were not given the feeling that we were welcome or that we would like to stay for a wine. Something was missing from my heart. I will give the Beiti a second chance. Maybe the first impression was wrong.

Levantine hospitality combined with excellent food makes this nice gem. You can't go wrong with the menu. At the end of the meal, the mocha flavored with cardamom is highly recommended.

There were two of us there. The service was attentive, quick and friendly. The food was average both in terms of presentation and taste. The veal fillet was grilled unevenly and rather firm. The seasoning was not convincing. The chicken was okay - but both lacked the desired typical influences of a regional taste. The fries were soggy and garnished with paprika powder... The ambience seems outdated and partly worn.

A very good and tasty Lebanese restaurant in Winterhude. The dishes are very tasty and particularly seasoned. The Mezen are varied but have become a bit smaller while the price has remained the same. The drinks are a bit expensive but the wine was tasty. The service is fast, friendly and nice. In summer it's nice to sit outside. For larger groups you should make a reservation. All in all, a recommendation for the special Lebanese cuisine

Leckere Gerichte, leider recht kalt und das Gemüse recht fest / hart (Geschmackssache). Für die Beilage Reis reichte die leckere Sauce leider bereits weiten nicht. Die Preise haben in den letzten Jahren stark angezogen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat dadurch massiv nachgelassen.

Gute libanesische Restaurants gibt es in Hamburg leider nur eine Hand voll. Allein deshalb ist das Beiti immer eine gute Wahl für Gelegenheiten aller Art. Wir sind aus diesem Grund regelmäßige zu Gast und finden immer etwas passendes, egal ob vegetarisch, mit Fisch oder Fleisch. Und es lohnt, den Weinempfehlungen zu folgen, weil es mehr gibt als auf der Karte steht! Da es in diesem Forum auch harsche Kritiken gab seien zwei Hinweise erlaubt. Zum einen wird im Beiti alles frisch gekocht. Das bedeutet, es schmeckt bei jedem Besuch immer ein klein wenig anders. Zum anderen sollte Zeit eingeplant werden, bis das Essen auf dem Tisch steht. Das wird belohnt! Bis dahin hilft eine Portion Mezze. 😉 Wer nur schnell satt werden will, sollte lieber auf Angebote der Systemgastronomie ausweichen.

So ein schöner Abend…. Gemütliche Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen mit Liebe zubereitet, einen Chef der weiß wie man Gäste verwöhnt. Einfach das Gefühl im Urlaub gewesen zu sein. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr freundlicher Service. Das Essen war extrem lecker, sehr gut angerichtet und die Kreationen wurden erklärt. Es lohnt sich den Empfehlungen des Kellners zu folgen, wenn man sich bei der Auswahl unsicher ist.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Super freundlicher Service, die Beratung und Erklärung zu den Gerichten war sehr hilfreich, auch für nicht Versierte in der libanesischen Landesküche. Es war, jedes Essen für sich, sehr lecker, ausgewogen gewürzt und vollauf ausreichend. Bereits die Vorspeisen ließen uns erahnen wie schmackhaft die Hauptgerichte werden würden und so war es auch. Die gut gefüllten Teller waren dazu sehr schön angerichtet. Alles in allem ein perfektes Essen und ein schöner Abend. Danke dafür, wir kommen wieder!

Die Bedienung war bis auf die junge Dame unglaublich schlecht. Man musste immer hinterherrufen, sonst wäre man nicht bedient worden. Weder wurde nach Kaffee noch nach Nachtisch gefragt. Essen war gut, aber die Gesamtheit zählt.

Eines der wenigen libanesischen Restaurants in Hamburg – und überhaupt eines der wenigen Restaurants, die absolut empfehlenswert sind! Wer die libanesische Küche mag, wird hier voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Frisch zubereitet, gut gewürzt, zart im Fleisch. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Ambiente lässt einen in den Nahen Osten „fliegen“. Die Preise liegen im mittleren Bereich, zwischen 17€/23€. Tipp: besonders am Abend einen Platz reservieren.

Wie immer super lecker und netter Service! Nehmt auf jeden Fall die 10 Teller vegetarisch oder gemischt! Mit mehr Personen die das nehmen bekommt man einen Tisch voller unterschiedlicher Probieroptionen 😋

Es war ein wunderschönen Abend im Restaurant Beiti. Alles hat gepasst: inspirierende & sehr schmackhafte libanesische Küche, sehr gastfreundlich und ein schönes Ambiente. Gern kommen wir wieder!

Ich war vorher noch nicht libanesisch essen. Deshalb bestellten wir uns einige der kleinen Vorspeisen, die uns alle erklärt und die sehr schön präsentiert wurden. Alle waren sehr lecker und machten einen authentischen Eindruck. Auch die Hauptgänge waren sehr schmackhaft und gut zubereitet. Wir hatten auch libanesischen Wein zum Essen, auch dieser war sehr gut. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes, nicht alltägliches Essen.

Hat gepasst, Lammwürstchen zu essen war etwas Neues für mich.

Wer in der Nähe ist, sollte diesen "Familienbetrieb" definitiv aufsuchen! Neben vielen herzhaften Spezialitäten darf ein leckeres Zimteis als Nachtisch nicht fehlen! Liebevolle Bedienung, leckeres Essen von Fleisch bis vegetarisch.. Top!

Während der lockdown-Phasen war eurer Take away Service auch umwerfend, aber endlich wieder „normal“ bei euch essen zu können - wirklich schön. Die Vorspeisen als Start in den Abend sind schon TOP. In Kombination mit dem Hauptgericht und Dessert… yummy! Satt, glücklich und zufrieden sind wir nach Hause! Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Wiedersehen!

Super leckere libanesische Küche. Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es werden keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Kommen sehr gerne wieder um uns hier verwöhnen zu lassen.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort und hatten verschiedene Gerichte. Die Grillplatte bestand überwiegend aus Salat und Reis, darauf recht kleine Stückchen Fleisch. Diese waren auch noch zäh und durchgebraten, für 20,-€ überteuert. Geschmacklich war es soweit in Ordnung, in anderen Restaurants wird das Gesamterlebnis aber übertroffen. Satt geworden sind wir nicht, so dass wir anschliessend auf dem Heimweg noch einen Imbiss genommen haben.

Der Start bei Ankunft im Restaurant mit dem unhöflichen, arroganten und leicht genervten Herrn (nehmen an, dass er der Inhaber ist) war schon merkwürdig. Eigentlich hatten wir da schon keine Lust mehr und wollten schon wieder gehen, aber es regnete…Das Interieur ist veraltet mit Resopal-Charme, das Ganze etwas ungemütlich. Glücklicherweise hatten wir dann eine nette junge Dame im Service, der gut klappte. Das Essen war recht gut. Aber wegen des Inhabers würden wir nicht wieder ins Beiti gehen.

Ich würde mehr Sterne vergeben wenn ich könnte!! Das Essen war fabelhaft lecker und sehr Liebevoll angerichtet. Der Services war top und sehr aufmerksam, tolle Beratung. Immer wieder gerne gehen wir dort essen! Sehr Empfehlenswert!!!

Vielleicht das beste naheöstliches Essen, dass wir je probiert haben, ob in Deutschland, Washington DC, oder irgendwo anders. Kreative Gewürze Kombinationen, perfekte Zubereitung, und das alles in Koronazeiten. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich vergebe tatsächlich nur selten 5 Punkte, das Beiti hat es aber verdient. Das Essen im speziellen. Es war so unfassbar lecker. Eine angenehme Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen ergänzt durch guten Service. Ich empfehle eine Reservierung, da es auch schnell mal voll sein kann. Lassen Sie sich verzaubern von den vielen Möglichkeiten. Ich bin wirklich begeistert und empfehle dieses Restaurant sehr.

Sehr schönes Familienunternehmen mit Herz und Seele. Die vielseitigen Gerichte sind authentisch und geschmacksintensiv. Da fällt es einem wirklich schwer sich zu entscheiden. Besonders lecker ist allerdings die Walnuss-Creme. Einfach ein Traum! Während der Corona-Pandemie haben wir dort Essen als Take away mitgenommen. Aber auch so immer ein Besuch wert!

Sehr gemütliches kleines Restaurant, wir gehen hier immer wieder gerne essen. Die Mesas sind ein Traum. Sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Was toll ist, wenn man zu zweit ist und zwei mal Mesas bestellt, bekommt man nicht 2 mal 10 gleiche, sondern eine riesige Auswahl an Vorspeisen, einzig die Klassiker wie Hummus, Tabouleh und Falafel gibt es zweimal. So kann man unglaublich viel probieren. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Given that a restaurant is not a place where people go because they're hungry but essentially a people place, she should consider a different job.

Insgesamt war das Essen durchschnittlich gut. Mehr aber auch nicht...... Die Bedienung war jedoch unterdurchschnittlich: unhöflich, unmotiviert, arrogant, unprofessionell. Dadurch wollte man nach dem Essen schnellstmöglich das Restaurant verlassen. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder!

Si vous êtes à Hambourg, alors ce restaurant est un passage obligatoire ! C'est le meilleur restaurant libanais que j'ai jamais goûté. Les plats sont frais et c'est un plaisir pur des saveurs orientales. L'ambiance du restaurant vous fait voyager dans un autre monde. Le personnel est plus que gentil et professionnel. Essayez ce restaurant une fois, vous serez obligé d'y retourner. Merci pour ces bons moments !
