Moments of enjoyment were always an experience. We enjoyed many wonderful moments at Bistro L'Emir. Samir Khraiche had that special something for his guests, his team was warm and attentive, the ambiance was refreshingly different, and the food was always a highlight of Lebanese cuisine. It was a place to feel good. Now, unfortunately, a wonderful time is coming to an end. We thank the L'EMIR team for the many wonderful moments and wish everyone the best of luck for the future. A flavor explosion with heart – 14 out of 10 points! What an evening! This restaurant was a true revelation. Even the starter – this variety in eight small bowls – was magnificent. Each one was a unique explosion of flavor: fresh, sophisticated, lovingly presented. From the velvety hummus to the tiny apple pieces – everything was perfect down to the last detail. You can simply taste: The cooking here is done with passion. The main courses? Salmon and lamb rump – the absolute highlight of my culinary year so far. Perfectly cooked, delicately seasoned, refined with a hint of saffron. The portion sizes were just right, and the selection on the menu was pleasantly clear – a good sign of quality and freshness. What really made this evening perfect, however, was the service: attentive, warm, and such that you truly felt like you were with friends. I eat out often, even at highly acclaimed restaurants. But I've rarely experienced such well-rounded, honest, and enthusiastic service. That evening, I gave it 13 out of 10 points – looking back, I have to correct myself: It was 14 out of 10. The quality of the dishes is outstanding, and the portions are absolutely fair. The warm service is particularly noteworthy: The owner and the entire team are incredibly friendly, open, and hospitable. You quickly strike up a conversation, have a wonderful chat, and feel like you're staying with friends. A bit of Middle Eastern flair in the heart of Hamburg – exactly what you want on a relaxed evening. The value for money here is absolutely spot on. For me, it's clear: A great, great place and an unreserved recommendation!

For a special evening, Bistro L'Emir is highly recommended! There is a good selection of authentic dishes that impress both in terms of taste and appearance. The service is really very good, personal and courteous, but not intrusive and the small shop has a great, cozy charm. I was very satisfied and would love to come back!

Wir können dieses kleine, aber feine Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Hier wurden wir mit köstlichen libanesischen Gerichten und einem perfekten, persönlichen aber unaufdringlichem Service verwöhnt. Die raffinierte, manchmal ungewöhnliche aber immer harmonische Kombination von Aromen war erste Klasse. Das Lamm können wir besonders empfehlen, aber auch Basics wie Hummus waren einfach perfekt ausgeführt. Gekrönt wurde das Ganze von einem feinen Gruß aus der Küche als Nachtisch. Der kleine Laden füllte sich schnell, während wir dort waren, bis auf den letzten Platz auch im Außenbereich, eine Reservierung ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind der Qualität angemessen und nicht übertrieben. Wir kommen hierher gern wieder!

We can fully recommend this small but fine restaurant. Here we were treated to delicious Lebanese dishes and perfect, personal but unobtrusive service. The sophisticated, sometimes unusual but always harmonious combination of flavors was first class. We can particularly recommend the lamb, but basics like hummus were also simply perfectly executed. The whole thing was crowned with a nice greeting from the kitchen as dessert. The small shop filled up quickly while we were there, including the outside area, so reservations are definitely recommended. The prices are appropriate for the quality and not exorbitant. We'd love to come back here!

I've walked past L'Emir many times and every time I thought to myself that I absolutely had to go there. Last Saturday we finally made it. First of all we ordered matzah, for the main course we had lame w heloh and “veal schnitzel Libanais”, for dessert we had vanilla cinnamon ice cream and Turkish mocha. The appetizer plates and the lamb rump tasted like I was in a dream. Craziness. The greeting from the kitchen was also very tasty. I would even like to give the service one more point if it were possible, the service was courteous, nice and polite. We'll definitely be back. Please be sure to reserve a table! And on Sundays the Bisteo L’Emir is closed because the owners also have families!

Very nice, small, modern-looking restaurant in Winterhude. There were four of us and tried both matzah (mixed Arabic tapas) and various main dishes. Everything is simply excellent. Both taste-wise and visually an eye-catcher. Extremely attentive, friendly service. Crystal clear recommendation!

I've had much better Lebanese food. Food was oversalted and dates in Maclubeh were not cut into bite-sized pieces.

Very nice service and good Lebanese food

Been here for the umpteenth time. Great little restaurant, quite inconspicuous from the outside, very modern and cozy inside. The menu is manageable, but so far no one has found anything. The food is great, beautifully prepared and with attention to detail. Price-performance ratio top. The only drawback: It's not possible to drop by spontaneously, only with a reservation one or three days in advance.

Great service, very nice food and good value for money

I was actually just curious about the restaurant because the owner is my neighbor, but we were extremely pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely top. Both the starters and the main course and we left the bistro neither hungry nor overeaten. The service staff was professional and very friendly and motivated. The price is a bit higher, but it's worth it and it's better to eat really well once than badly twice.

Drei Dinge zeichnen dieses Lokal aus: 1. das Essen ist oberlecker 2. Die Weinkare ist sehr gut sortiert und es gibt leckeren Wein 3. der Service ist unglaublich. Wer noch nie erlebt hat, wie es sich anfühlt, in einem Lokal freundlich, aber unaufdringlich umsorgt zu werden, muß hier mal Essen gehen. Man muß reservieren, da es sich um ein kleines "Wohnzimmer" handelt, aber es lohnt sich. Mittlerweile kann man auch bei frischeren Temperaturen draußen sitzen, denn es gibt Heizstrahler. Immer wieder !!!!

I had dinner in this bistro a while ago. I had previously called and inquired about gluten-free options. This is not a problem, they know their stuff. I asked a few times before eating there. Unfortunately, the allergen menu wasn't declared quite correctly, but the waiter confidently confirmed that they could manage a gluten-free preparation. I have celiac disease and react strongly to contamination and traces. I communicated this too. I was reassured that they knew their stuff. I ended up eating something there. The end of the story is that I had stomach cramps for several days and I got really sick. For me, this is a kind of bodily harm, because my risk of colon cancer increases with every dietary mistake. If you have allergies or severe intolerances, I can only advise you against this place. I would ask the owner to deal with allergens or at least admit it if they are not familiar with it!

Small Lebanese restaurant with a relatively large outdoor area. The cuisine is very good but not exceptional, in the sense that you can find similar dishes and quality at other Lebanese in Hamburg. The service was attentive and friendly and seemed extremely confident when it came to the topic of allergens (nuts). The prices are reasonable.

Bistro L'Emir is a small Lebanese restaurant with a large outdoor area. The service is extremely warm and professional, the menu is not overloaded, but full of high-quality oriental delicacies. The four of us shared 16 small mezze bowls as a starter and then chose lamb and fish dishes. Everything was delicious and high quality! Likewise the Lebanese red wine. At the end we were served cinnamon ice cream as a greeting from the kitchen. It was an absolutely successful evening. We will definitely come here more often.

As for food, we ordered salmon and duck breast, and the meat was very tender. What surprised me the most was the cake with cinnamon ice cream for dessert. Recommend everyone to try it!

If you're a little adventurous, these are great dishes. The service is really nice and really on point. Not like some of the other snoring places up and down the street, and the prices are reasonable.

The food was perfectly coordinated. As a welcome from the house there was bread with olive oil and thyme herbs for dipping. We then ordered the 6 mezzes and our wishes were given special attention. The main courses were falafel and salmon. Each dish looked like a work of art in itself. We liked the falafel, hummus and moussaka best. The prices are higher in comparison because the restaurant only has around 8 tables. This restaurant is definitely recommended for special occasions. We also particularly liked the flower decorations because we bought the flowers again. Thank you for the great food.

The food was really great! The service was also great. However, on the evening we ate here there was a large group in the restaurant who were apparently friends with the waiter. This group was extremely loud and every few minutes the door was opened to smoke. The restaurant was really cool at the end of the evening. Due to the volume of this group, it was hardly possible for the two of us to have a conversation. I mentioned this before paying and the waiter was visibly overwhelmed by the feedback and then just quickly settled the bill. An unpleasant experience for us, especially since we celebrated my companion's birthday that evening. A few days later I wrote another email to the restaurant and described the whole situation. I think it's a real shame that I didn't even receive an answer. We won't come back
