The best hummus in the world! An absolutely outstanding restaurant! The moment you enter, you sense the special atmosphere – a stylish ambiance, cozy yet elegant. The food was a true highlight: perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and tastefully presented. Every course was a delight and exceeded expectations. The service was also attentive, friendly, and professional. A place I can wholeheartedly recommend – I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Lots of delicious starters, including the hot main courses, small but delicious, nicely presented in small bowls. The only minor drawback: the service was very friendly, but everything took a bit too long. But we still enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, the chicken was rotten. It was replaced immediately, but how can something like that be served? My drink was supposed to contain grenadine, but it wasn't. When I pointed it out, she brought me a drink with just grenadine syrup.

Short and concise summary: Too many tables (outdoor dining). Consequently, overwhelmed, presumably untrained staff. Eternally long waits for the first service. Followed by forgotten appetizers, and later lukewarm, uninspired main courses. And (it felt like) no commitment. Perhaps an unfortunate snapshot, but I wouldn't give this place a second chance. Because you can eat much better in Hamburg...

We have the Schlemmerblock voucher booklet and wanted to use it for our restaurant visit. Hala Mignon is participating in the promotion, and the Schlemmerblock explicitly states "reservation requested." Since it was a Saturday evening, we reserved a table with the online reservation provider listed on the website. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we were very rudely informed that we would have to cancel the reservation, otherwise our voucher would not be accepted because the restaurant had already paid for the reservation. A friendly request to cancel the reservation would not have been a problem. Instead, we were yelled at and threatened with non-acceptance of the voucher, which made us feel too uncomfortable to eat there.

The service was very good, even though it was busy. The food was incredibly delicious. The starters were small bowls of various dishes and delicious bread, which everyone enjoyed. The main course was equally delicious and a generous portion. I would definitely come back because I felt so welcome!

An absolute recommendation! Our visit was perfect all around. The food was simply unbelievably delicious, especially the meze, which were the best we've ever tasted! The selection was varied, and every course was a delight. Delicious drinks complemented the culinary experience wonderfully. The location is beautiful and lovingly designed. An ideal spot for a romantic evening. The service was attentive, warm, and hospitable; you immediately feel welcome and completely at ease. If you're looking for special cuisine in a great atmosphere, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

We were unfortunately quite disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. The food was generally okay – the mezze platters were tasty but clearly overpriced, and some lacked authentic Lebanese flavor. We're deducting a star for this due to the poor value for money. What was particularly disappointing, however, was the service, which in no way lived up to the restaurant's bold promises. A glass of wine is listed on the menu as 0.2 liters – in fact, it was a maximum of 0.125 liters, which is anything but generous at €9. The water glasses were partially dirty and had traces of dish soap. Although we had ordered a lot of mezze, we were only served four small slices of bread for four people. We only received refills after asking twice – but only when we were almost finished eating. Napkins were also only brought to us upon explicit request. The entire service seemed inattentive and careless – which ultimately ruined our evening. We're deducting another star for that. Overall: 3 out of 5 stars – unfortunately, we don't recommend it.

Very good food in a very nice restaurant.

The service was not good. The place was not very busy, but unfortunately, it still took a long time. One of the waitresses didn't speak German. The food was okay, but not a taste sensation.

Despite the large crowds and the large number of guests, the service in the restaurant was absolutely remarkable. The staff remained friendly, attentive, and professional throughout – you could tell they knew their craft. The food arrived promptly and was excellently prepared. An all-around successful visit, where guests felt well looked after – even during stressful times.

First time we have popped in for lunch, incredible value for money 3 courses for €9.95. I had the Falafel for main, the best in Hamburg? Probably!

We booked Hala Mignon as our caterer for our event, and the food was incredibly delicious, and communication was very straightforward and accommodating! The place is nicely located in Hamburg. We went there for a team dinner with nearly 20 people. The gentleman there was very friendly and suggested good options for large group. The food was good and we enjoyed. It was a bit delayed as to serve food but for a large group it is accepted. Just one recommendation, the menu was all in German and we were mostly international people which was a bit uncanny for our non german speaking colleagues.

Ugh, incredibly delicious! We ate different mezzes for starters and main courses and every single dish was delicious. The eggplant in goat cream and the falafel are particularly recommended. The host is also very friendly and attentive.

We were there on Wednesday, 6 p.m. A very great, very chic restaurant; great atmosphere. Service was also great, one person took care of everything. The store was completely full afterwards, but you didn't have to wait much longer. The food was sensational. Lamb perfect, duck super tender. Great side dishes, only the wine was a little too cold for us at the beginning, so it needed a little more temperature. Definitely recommended, we would love to come back.

We visited Hala Mignon in Grindelviertel at the weekend with a Groupon voucher and left thrilled. We were warmly welcomed and seated at a table for two in the not-too-large restaurant. The menu was a delicious compilation of different meals, some of which we were able to put together ourselves. These were very tasty throughout and after a total of 12 delicacies (starters and main courses) we left the restaurant after about 2 hours feeling full There's nothing really to complain about except that it perhaps took a little too long and the tables are quite close together. But we will definitely come back anyway.

We had the set menu and it was excellent. Large portions of the mezzes. The lamb was particularly tasty - I don't normally eat it because I never liked it. I was absolutely surprised! The desserts were rather standard, but still tasty. Great restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere. Pleasant service!

Ein wirklich gemütliches Restaurant wo man als Gast freundlich und hilfsbereit behandelt wird. Die Mezzas waren lecker und absolut lohnenswert. Aber, dann kam „leider“ das Hauptgericht. Auf der Speisekarte wurde Lachs mit scharfen Kartoffeln und Rucola-Salat versprochen. Es wurde aber Lachs mit Pommes und Eisberg-Tomaten-Salat serviert. Die scharfen Kartoffeln wurden mir zum Glück nach einer Nachfrage von mir, noch nachgereicht. In der Speisekarte wird von einer Vielfalt der Aromen gesprochen, diese Vielfalt habe ich auf meinem Teller vergeblich gesucht. Der Lachs war nicht nur mega trocken sondern auch komplett ungewürzt, den Salat, es gab viel Salat, gab es mit einer Fertigsosse - total langweilig und überhaupt nicht orientalisch. Die scharfen Kartoffeln waren aber tatsächlich etwas scharf und gewürzt. Aber alles in allem, war das Hauptgericht ein richtiger Reinfall. Schade!

This place has been on our bucket list for a long time and last night we decided to make a spur-of-the-moment visit. Although it was a last minute plan, it was nice to find a table for two - the place was, as expected, quite full. The atmosphere was great. The food was delicious. They had 3 course menus and the prices were really good considering the location, quality and all. However, we found the service and the behaviour of the staff quite problematic. First of all, the service was really, really slow. We understand that they expect us to experience the slow Mediterenean dining experience. But this does not really explain the 40 minute wait for dessert. And we found the behaviour of the waiter in general to be sadly rude. If this matter could be improved, it would be an overall fantastic experience.

Super delicious food, nice atmosphere and really friendly and accommodating people. A real stroke of luck. We would be happy to come back at any time.

Hala mignon has been one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Hamburg for years. The ambience is great, the food is fantastic and Said is an absolutely warm host and has the right wine tips from Lebanon to go with everything. Even though we no longer live in the neighborhood, we always like to come back - even for birthday parties, which incidentally also ensured enthusiastic and full guests! Keep it up, dear Said!

Das Essen war fantastisch! Die Auswahl an Mezze ist großartig – wir haben Hummus, Baba Ghannoush und Falafel probiert, alles hausgemacht und unglaublich lecker. Die Hauptgerichte, besonders die Lammkoteletts und die vegetarischen Optionen, waren perfekt gewürzt und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Auch die Desserts wie das Baklava waren ein Genuss! Ein absolutes Muss für alle, die authentische libanesische Küche in bester Qualität genießen möchten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Extremely tasty, super friendly, super accommodating! We have eaten here several times and have now ordered take-away catering for 10 people. Complete enthusiasm! Our conclusion: A top kitchen, an extremely committed, amiable boss, very nice staff! And above all (again): Everything (!) is extremely delicious!! The wines are also great. Plus, the room with the high windows is really beautiful! Absolute recommendation!

There is really fantastic food. I recommend everyone to order the menu, as the starters are so delicious and varied. You then choose the delicate main menu from the large menu (although it is really difficult to choose because everything is so appealing) and then there is the meal afterwards another selection of wonderful desserts.

I'm used to Lebanese restaurants, but here it's great art. Everything is excellent. We took the menu as a couple, which allowed us to share a multitude of different cold and hot mezze, I really recommend. The service is top notch.

Sat outside. Tables set with proper tablecloths. Little traffic. Service very nice. It sometimes took a while to get the drinks, but it was also a birthday party, so there was a lot going on and the waitress was on the move a lot. Food delicious. Total meal for 4 with a bottle of wine/water, 4 beers €230. Not super cheap, but we liked it.

The restaurant is very harmoniously furnished and there is an attractive outdoor area. The welcome and service was always very friendly and unobtrusive. There was also time for short conversations, which added to the feel-good experience. The food is very finely balanced with the flavors of Lebanon, portion sizes are just right. Finally, there was dessert on the house. Overall - highly recommended.

I was at Hala Mignon with my girlfriend on April 13th and we both had a great evening. There was lovely seating outside with candlelight late at night. The service was very attentive and everything was right for us. The owner was also on site and looked after us very well. The highlight was the extraordinarily delicious food, we started with a starter variation that was not only beautiful to look at, but also made us want more in terms of taste. In addition to the small bowls, we also had hummus with lamb. The lamb was perfectly fried and the hummus was very creamy. The main courses were also prepared to perfection, the lamb fillet was beautifully tender and the halloumi was beautifully golden. The dessert was also very tasty. We were absolutely happy. We had a Lebanese rosé to accompany the meal. We have already tried several Lebanese wines. It's a shame they're so hard to come by. We'll definitely come back and continue trying out the menu.

Last night we invited friends to “Hala” for their wedding anniversary and they both loved it. The four of us were thrilled. Esther and I have known “Hala” from day one because we live in the neighborhood. But since Said took it over himself, the diverse Lebanese cuisine, the heartfelt hospitality and the inviting atmosphere actually deserve more than five sparkling stars. Said and the "Hala" are an enrichment, far beyond our Grindel district, which is not exactly poor in good restaurants. Three more tips: In the meantime, it is advisable to make reservations in good time. Getting a table in the basement is not a step down - on the contrary, you can celebrate very well there. And when it comes to wine, always ask Said, he knows which drop from his old homeland is worth more than it costs. Thank you, Said, for allowing us to enjoy the beautiful side of the Levant with you.

From the first moment everything was great. OK, we were there on time. First of all, the gin was great, the various starters were simply great, the service was attentive, courteous, friendly and contributed to the exuberant atmosphere. The food, the main courses were very good, as was the wine from home, highly recommended. Have fun with the neighboring table too. All in all, we had a lot of fun and the food was simply good and balanced. Gladly again. :) The warmth, the friendliness, the selection of food is excellent. Another successful evening.
