5-Gang-Menü mit 4 Personen Ende Juni Das Essen war hervorragend, lockere Atmosphäre, sympathischer Service, hervorzuheben ist hier besonders der Besitzer/Koch Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Waren am Freitag Abend zum ersten Mal im Restaurant Auszeit. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Habe beim Essen einen Stern abgezogen. Eigentlich einen halben Stern, was aber nicht geht. Mein Essen war sehr lecker, nur das Schweinefilet hätte ein wenig kürzer gebraten sein müssen. So war es knapp davor zu trocken zu sein. Machte dem schönen Abend aber keinen Abbruch. Kommen gerne wieder.

Mehr als fünf Sterne kann ich hier leider nicht vergeben. Zum Beschreiben der Speisen fehlen mir fast die Worte. Unglaublich lecker! Super Service. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder! Oder wir fahren extra hin. Vielen Dank.

Wir waren heute nach längerer Zeit in der schönen „Auszeit“! Und das Surprise-Menü hat seinem Namen mehr als alle Ehren gemacht! Tolle Zusammenstellungen, mehr als fein abgestimmt und abgeschmeckt! Ein Träumchen und ganz ganz großes Lob an den Chefkoch und die Küchencrew! Wir kommen wieder 👍🏻

Wir waren sehr zufrieden bei unseren Besuch. Der Service war sehr gut und das Personal ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Zudem war das essen natürlich auch sehr lecker. Es ist einen Besuch auf jeden Fall Wert.

Wir haben über die Website des Restaurants einfach und unkompliziert einen Tisch reserviert. Auf der Terrasse haben wir wunderbar gesessen. Wir wurden freundlich und mit guter Laune bedient. Das Essen war hervorragend - sowohl geschmacklich als auch von der Qualität. Es gab einen Gruß aus der Küche. Wer großen Hunger hat, sollte eine Vorspeise dazu nehmen. Preislich gehoben, der hervorragenden Qualität entsprechend. Leider wurden wir nicht nach einem zweiten Getränk gefragt und die Nachbestellung unsererseits ging im laufenden Geschäft unter. Das ist aber auch der einzige Punkt, der nicht optimal war.

Genuss pur! Wohlfühlen bei tollen Produkten, köstlichen Gerichten und in schöner Umgebung. Abwechslung, Kreativität und Frische…. Immer wieder gerne 😋

Ein Besuch im Restaurant Auszeit ist seinem Namen mehr als gerecht, hier erlebt man wirklich eine kleine, wundervolle Auszeit vom Alltag. Schon beim Eintreten spürt man das stimmige, liebevoll gestaltete Ambiente, das sofort zum Wohlfühlen einlädt. Alles ist harmonisch aufeinander abgestimmt und schafft eine warme, entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an den Koch: Mit hochwertigen Zutaten und viel Liebe zum Detail zaubert er wahre Kunstwerke auf den Teller. Jedes Gericht ist nicht nur ein Gaumenschmaus, sondern auch ein echter Augenschmaus. Hier merkt man sofort, dass Qualität und Leidenschaft an erster Stelle stehen. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch viele kleine, liebevolle Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Aufenthalt noch besonderer machen und einem wirklich das Gefühl geben, dem Alltag für ein paar Stunden entfliehen zu dürfen. Ein sehr schönes Restaurant!! Wir hatten mit Hund reserviert, und für unsere kleine Maus war alles vorbereitet ein Wasser Napf und ein Leckeri 🥰 das Essen war sehr lecker !!!! Super Qualität, frisches Gemüse alles hervorragend angerichtet! Gute Portionen! Preis Leistung stimmt! Der Service war auch sehr zuvorkommend, sehr freundlich! Wir kommen wieder!!!

Das Restaurant liegt herrlich gelegen am Venekoten See, eingebettet in das Landschaftsschutzgebiet. Die Speisekarte ist kurz ohne jeglichen Firlefanz. Pommes Frites Fans sind hier falsch, die gibt es hier nicht. Dafür einen herzlichen Kartoffelgratin. Phantastisch auf den Punkt. Ich hatte das Takaki vom Thunfisch als Vorspeise und muss sagen so fein hatte ich Thunfisch noch nicht gegessen, es passte gut, dass der Aperitif Prosecco noch halb vorhanden war und die feine Perle und das Bouquet passten dazu ganz wunderbar. Zum Hauptgericht hatte meine Begleitung und ich die Maispoulardenbrust auf einer wirklich dazu fein abgestimmten Sauce und Kartoffelgratin. Dazu hatte ich einen roten Italiener der hier auch glasweise ausgeschenkt wird. Der Wein passte vorzüglich zur Poulardenbrust. Köstlich. Eine weitere Begleitung hatte das Rumpsteak, ebenso auf den Punkt, medium zubereitet. Diese Qualität hatten wir nicht erwartet und können nur begeistert berichten. Wir kommen wieder. Danke an die Küche und den Service.

Wir hatten wieder einmal einen rundum perfekten Abend im Auszeit am Wohnmobilstellplatz Ausgebüxst – und sind mehr denn je begeistert! Das Essen war erneut ein absoluter Traum. Jeder einzelne Gang des 5-Gänge-Menüs war ein Gedicht: kreativ komponiert, geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet, dass schon das Auge mitgenossen hat. Hier merkt man sofort, mit wie viel Leidenschaft und Können in der Küche gearbeitet wird. Dazu kam eine perfekte Bewirtung – aufmerksam, herzlich, professionell und dabei wunderbar entspannt. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Wir sind und bleiben ganz klar Wiederholungstäter und freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Vom Gruß aus der Küche über Vorspeise bis hin zum Dessert... Es war ein sehr schmackhaft Essen von sehr guter Qualität. Beratung und Auswahl an Getränken war ebenfalls gut. Die Anrichtung auf den Tellern war sehr ansprechend und machte Appetit auf mehr. Ein ausgesprochen freundlicher und kompetenter Service. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war sehr angenehm. Vor der Tür gibt es einen großen Parkplatz. Lediglich die Eingangstreppe ist für Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung evtl. schwerer zu bewältigen. Ich freue mich auf sonnige Tage, die man dann auf der Terrasse genießen kann.

I've been there several times now and can highly recommend the restaurant and the great team. When I recently stopped by on a Friday evening after a tour around Lake Venekoten, I felt like I'd arrived "home." The kitchen was already closed at 9:00 p.m., but there was still an excellent glass of wine and, without being asked, a small bowl of pasta salad. Then, on Sunday evening, we had the proper dinner – as always, a really good steak . . . . . . and the chef personally stopped by the table to ask if everything was okay. That's hospitality. And if you have a little dog with you, they even give it a treat. I always feel extremely comfortable there and look forward to my next visit – whether outside on the terrace or inside the dining room. Both have their own special charm. And the new RV parking area, directly adjacent to the restaurant, doesn't detract from the overall experience—quite the opposite. There's always something interesting to see there. A great restaurant on Lake Venekotensee with style, flair, charm, and a great deal of warmth.

We visited the Auszeit restaurant with seven people on August 6, 2025. It was a worthwhile visit, as the restaurant only employs trained, attentive and friendly staff. The owner, who is also the chef of his beautiful restaurant, knows his craft. The 5-course menu we chose was excellent and affordable. We were completely happy and satisfied and can highly recommend the restaurant. For all campers with a motorhome. The restaurant is located right next to the beautiful "Ausgebüxt" motorhome park. There, in addition to spacious pitches, you'll find peace, relaxation, and beautiful cycling and hiking trails.

So, we escaped again and took some time out 😃 to treat ourselves to the surprise menu 😋. It was once again a true feast for the palate. Every bite was perfectly balanced, creatively prepared, and full of refinement. You immediately notice that the food here is cooked with passion and a keen sense of flavor. We were very impressed with Auszeit on our first evening. The food, especially the salad, was delicious and cleverly prepared. On the second evening, the steak dish (priced by weight) for two people included over 800g of steak per person.

A truly successful evening with excellent food. The rhubarb foam with strawberries was divine. The atmosphere and service were outstanding. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

This restaurant is not recommended at all. The spaghetti A.O.P. served in a Parmesan wheel bears absolutely no resemblance to the original dish. We got reheated, mashed pasta with slices of raw garlic, a few tomato shreds that really shouldn't have been there, and zero flavor. We're still looking for the Parmesan cheese. The price of €18.50 for this quality is outrageous. I never normally write reviews. However, my husband convinced me to do so in this case!

My girlfriend and I visited the “Auszeit” after a nice walk at Lake Venekoten and we were very excited. I had already visited the restaurant with my friends from my school days and was already thrilled. Yesterday my impression was confirmed: The service was courteous and friendly without being intrusive The food was not only beautiful to look at, but also tasty. You can taste the good quality that the restaurant stands for. We particularly liked the Prosecco, which was refined with our own rhubarb and tasted wonderfully refreshing. We had originally reserved a table (for two people) for 6:30 PM on Saturday evening and were able to reschedule the reservation to 7:00 PM at short notice (an hour in advance) without any problems – I found that very positive. The service was generally very good and the food was simply an absolute delight. Highly recommended!

Today we had dinner again in what has become our favorite restaurant, it was really above average and the boss and his team are second to none, from us again and again, thank you for the lovely evening.

A nice restaurant, the drinks menu was reluctantly brought to us after a somewhat derogatory comment and we then knew why. I think a normal non-alcoholic wheat (unfortunately I still had to drive) for 6.50 euros is a bit excessive, a schnitzel is 24.50 euros, all in all we just found it overpriced.

We were there with a group of 10 people and everyone really enjoyed it. When we made the reservation we asked for a quieter corner and that's what we got. The restaurant was relatively empty, which I can't understand at all. Because: The food was very good and fresh. The menu wasn't very large, but there was still a great daily menu. There I ordered an onion roast, which was really extremely good. Overall the prices were fair. On average we paid €30 per person with 1-2 drinks and a main course. It should be said that the prices of the main courses naturally vary greatly, depending on what you order. Everything is included between 15-35€. The service was also attentive and there was nothing to complain about here either. Conclusion: Also highly recommended for larger groups. I think for two you can also find a cozy atmosphere here with good food for a date or something similar. We were definitely not there for the last time!

Valentine's Day is a special day and we thoroughly enjoyed it here. Super beautiful decoration, peppered with heart balloons and roses right down to the Prosecco. The menu was perfectly tailored, and not just to this day. Toni Manzillo cooks here with a creative mind and heart... Super nice reception, the service was very attentive... We were there on New Year's Eve 2024 for an excellent 5-course menu. All dishes were very tasty and well prepared. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of passion and love. Addition after restaurant response: We were 3 people and not 6. We arrived at 7:00 PM. We walked by again at 8:30 PM. Even then the restaurant was almost empty. So I don't think reservations are the problem. We were also not offered anything. The woman only said "Nein". And did not respond to our presence.

The five course menu cost €43 and is more than worth the money. We will be back definitely.

I can only recommend the Restaurant Auszeit. We're looking forward to next time. The food is always great and I love the extraordinary desserts that you don't get anywhere else 👍

As always we were very satisfied. Great food, friendly service and a very nice location. Another comment on the negative reviews from Katja Enders and Mr. TP. It now seems to be a popular method to make light of one's own misconduct through negative reviews after the visit, instead of addressing the supposed problem directly on site. Gastronomy in general has it extremely difficult these days and recessions are very important for new customers. I find it perfidious to give a negative review because of marginal aspects that have nothing to do with the food and thereby end up being a great restaurant break discredit.

We discovered the time-out by chance on a bike ride today. First impression was good and we took a break there. Actually we just wanted a quick coffee, but spinach dumplings are my favorite food. We then ordered spinach dumplings and said we would share the plate. The lady from the house immediately said that we couldn't do that during the break and offered to make two small portions of the dish. Food came, it was okay and when we were finished and got the bill, one dish that cost 21.50 turned into two dishes for €16. This is how you can make money!! Since I didn't want to cause any trouble here, we paid and left. We think that if you make statements like that you can't charge €32 instead of €21.50. That's a rip-off and dubious.

We spontaneously decided to visit the Restaurant Auszeit! It was a wonderful evening in a lovingly furnished location with a great ambience. The dishes were excellently prepared and presented with great attention to detail. A very exclusive experience if you want to try something special. We were served so kindly and attentively, and a big compliment to the staff!! Highly recommended for a great culinary evening!!!

We eat in restaurants very often. This one really excited us. The ambience, the friendly welcome, the board with handwritten dishes of the day. Great! The Steinbeisser schnitzel and the cutlet were really super juicy! The vegetables are a poem! Well prepared, with a light bite and a delicate, velvety vanilla note. The potato gratin was also great. Only the risotto could have been a little creamier for MY taste. But that's really complaining at a high level. Price performance quantity - everything is right here. We are already looking forward to our next visit and the new creations. Chapeau to the chef and full star rating.

We were thrilled. Restaurant modern and tastefully decorated, very good food, freshly prepared and attractively served. Price/performance is right. Very friendly, attentive service. We will definitely come back, completely satisfied.

What an unexpectedly wonderful evening. We were at the restaurant almost half an hour earlier than planned and therefore met the boss at the door. So we received a twice as friendly welcome 😅. We decided on the 5-course menu in a pescatarian version, first of all Prosecco, with a nice Riesling to accompany the meal. What can I say? It was great! Unfortunately I neglected to photograph the sorbet. All other corridors are shown here. Exceptionally beautifully and imaginatively cooked. A big compliment. We'll definitely be back!

Today, on a Sunday evening, we had dinner with 4 people and ordered different dishes, drinks and desserts. We were all thoroughly impressed by the preparation of the food, the response to special requests and the wine selection. The service was also very friendly and competent in recommending the wines. The strawberries with rhubarb foam are a poem! A very successful evening! We'd love to come back!

Won't come there anymore! They were very friendly. But we think this is for the people who camp there! But well, you had an experience.

What a discovery! - Service. Ambiance. Food. - Everything first class. We were warmly greeted before entering the restaurant. The table we ordered was prepared. The waitress (whose name I unfortunately forgot) was much, much more than a mini-jobber: she was extremely knowledgeable about food and wine, was warm and friendly - and was always there when you needed her. And then the food! We took the 5-course surprise menu and were simply thrilled with every course. It was a wonderful evening. Thank you for that. If we come to Venekoten again, we will definitely take another break during the “time out”.
