Friday evening... Last night I was invited to dinner. Guys, this is bordering on Michelin-starred cuisine, with the enchanting charm of Mrs. Römer on top. The food selection, the drinks, the ambiance, even the other guests at the next table... Everything was perfect. I rarely eat fish/seafood myself. The scallops, a poem 😍 The soups, the sorbet... What can I say, rarely so delicious, and it just continued all the way to dessert. 🫠 Thank you for the wonderful evening 😍

All courses were very fresh and tastefully prepared, well seasoned, and a feast for the eyes. Very friendly and attentive service, just what we'd expect from a more expensive restaurant. Since the restaurant remained quiet even when fully booked, it's a great location for older people who otherwise have trouble following conversations.

A bit luxurious and expensive, but very tasty and plentiful.

We enjoyed a delicious meal here for three. From the aperitif to the espresso at the end, we were completely satisfied. We sat outside, and it was wonderful on this glorious summer evening. The timing from ordering to serving was well coordinated, and the service was very friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

It was a truly wonderful evening in a fantastic restaurant. The service was very attentive, always friendly, and competent. The dishes were all delicious and beautifully presented. The value for money is more than reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

Hello, this restaurant has a great atmosphere. Before you enter the restaurant, your jacket will be taken off and you will be shown to the table. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because the menu is an absolute now go!!! There are about 8 dishes on it without side dishes such as: Venison goullasch with red cabbage When I asked what side dishes were available, the waitress felt completely overwhelmed and said something about... there are vegetables with all the dishes? I don't think she knew the term...filling side dishes. The answer we got was if you want, you can get potatoes or a croquette. Or they tell me what they want and I ask if we have it. Really strange!!! We then drank our overpriced drinks and left.

A great restaurant in a very nice setting

A really great restaurant. The food is wonderful. The service is very guest-oriented. A guest room to feel good. And above all: the price-performance ratio is right! I can recommend the restaurant without any reservations! Simply great!

Starting with the service: the young lady was nice. The boss: bottom drawer. Addressing guests weakly from the side, interfering in private conversations and brazenly provoking them when saying goodbye is a bottomless impudence. Saying “we are not a brewery” over a poorly served wheat beer is a joke. The food was average, as a “medium” steak ordered should not be well done! The steak was tough and had tendons. New food was no longer ordered because the boss was once again incredibly unfriendly. Nothing can beat the boss's arrogance! Conclusion: save your money and go to a chip shop. Ps: this is how you pour a wheat beer (including yeast 😉)

Die Unhöflichkeit der Chefin ist nicht zu überbieten. Das Essen kann das nicht entschädigen. Schade für den teuren Abend. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Unfortunately I can't give 0 stars! Absolute impudence. Outrageous price for such unfriendly and clumsy service from the boss. She'd better retire before she scares everyone away with her terrible behavior. You'd think they'd want to keep their customers. The wheat beer wasn't nearly full and the yeast was also missing. Her answer: “We are not a brewery. Feel free to pour yourself your next beer.” (No sooner said than done😉) Absolutely not recommended!

Hervorragendes Essen, super zubereitet mit sehr viel Liebe und tollen Geschmack, auch der Service war sehr gut, wir kennen das Restaurant seit Mitte der 80 Jahre und es wurde und wird immer besser, sehr empfehlenswert

Das Restaurant ist schön gestaltet & das Essen war lecker. Jedoch haben wir für diese Preisklasse einen besseren Service erwartet. Die Preise hier sind höher als in vergleichbaren Restaurants in Mönchengladbach z.B Palace St.George oder Gero, deswegen hatten wir auch entsprechend hohe Erwartungen. Der Service ist recht langsam & auch nicht unbedingt aufmerksam. Es sind viele kleine Dinge die uns gestört haben, z.B: • Salz & Pfefferstreuer nicht sauber • Unterschiedliche Tassengrößen beim Cappuccino • Cappuccino übergeschwappt • Auf der Terrasse gibt es Strahler die einem direkt ins Gesicht scheinen Essen gut, Service ausbaufähig !

Sehr freundliches Personal. Leckeres Essen, gemütliches Ambiente. Im Sommer auch im Garten. Auf Leute mit einer Glutenunverträglichkeit wird Rücksicht genommen. So sind zB glutenfreie Brötchen zu der Suppe möglich.

Immer wieder wie ein Tag Urlaub. Beste Qualität ist hier der Standard. Höchste Empfehlungsstufe.

Ein excellentes Restaurant das man an diesem Ort nicht erwartet

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal zum Sylvestermenü hier, aber ein bisschen enttäuscht, da sich Gänge gegenüber dem Vorjahr wiederholt haben. Insgesamt waren die Präsentation und der Service nicht ganz so gut wie sonst üblich. Auch die zusätzliche Unterbringung im eigentlichen Gesellschaftsraum hat uns nicht so zugesagt. Insgesamt aber außerhalb besonderer Anlässe auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, wenn einem eine familiäre und gepflegte Atmosphäre gefällt.

Sehr gute, gehobene Küche, nett dekoriert, das Auge isst mit, sehr schöne Atmosphäre im Restaurant und auf der Gartenterrasse. Es lohnt sich, die Preise sind für die Qualität moderat.

Auf dem Rückweg von Roermond haben wir Google gefragt wo wir etwas leckeres zum Essen finden. Dabei haben wir dieses Restaurant gefunden. Die sehr guten Bewertungen können wir nur bestätigen. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Zunächst gab es einen sehr spannenden Gruß aus der Küche. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wurden bei allen Gängen Alternativen angeboten, die so nicht auf der Karte standen. Kleiner Tipp: Nehmt einen Espresso oder Kaffee zum Abschluss und staunt was da kommt 😀

Einfach perfekt, so macht kochen Spaß! Hier wird viel gezeigt, probiert und natürlich verkostet. Perfekt als Geschenk! Herr und Frau Römers sind super nett und hier steht das gemeinsame kochen im Vordergrund. Ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis. Sehr gerne wieder
