The food was very good and tasty. The staff was very friendly as always.

Paul Houx is located directly opposite the Niederkrüchten town hall in Elmpt. There are enough free parking spaces available. The entrance is not handicapped accessible, but there is only one step. Everything in the pub is accessible at ground level. Card payment possible. No guest WiFi available. After repeated visits over the years and consistently good quality, you can confidently give it a 5*. It is a classic pub with an attached restaurant, bowling alley and separate celebration rooms. The cuisine is good, home-style and inexpensive. Beer fresh from the tap. (as of 10-2024)

You can sit inside, it really is an old German interior, we sat on the outside terrace. Great and friendly service, the food was incredibly delicious, especially the schnitzels were very good, if you want to eat real good and fresh schnitzels, definitely go here, they were excellent!!!

What a fantastic experience this was. We have been coming to Germany for many years but this was the very best and tastiest schnitzel ever! And a delicious salad and plenty of fries. Delicious weizen beer. This was truly a moment of happiness. If you're in the area, be sure to drop by and it's even worth the detour. And when you get the bill, it is at least half cheaper than in the Netherlands.

Went there for the first time today. The reception was friendly. The decor is typical of an old-established restaurant. Personally, I like it. The food is simply great. Very very very tasty. Good home cooking at reasonable prices. We'd love to come back!!!

Eine "Dorfkneipe" ,wie sie früher in den Dörfern üblich waren. Schön,dass es sie noch gibt.

Ich mag das ehr rustikale und somit hat es mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam was will man mehr. Das essen ist für meinen Geschmack sehr gut und preislich absolut ok. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Schnitzel mit Zwiebel und Spiegelei war lecker. Obwohl die Zwiebeln für meinen Geschmack zu trocken waren. Die Pommes waren lecker und reichlich. Wenn ich das nächste mal in der Gegend bin würde ich dort wieder essen.😊

Schickes altes Gasthaus fühlte mich sehr wohl. Preise sind echt super!

Die Schnitzel waren alle aus der Fritüre und haben nach altem Fett geschmeckt. Die Soße war ebenfalls nicht selbst gemacht und ganz zu schweigen von der im Menü servierten klaren Suppe war eine Frechheit und hat das Wort „Suppe“ nicht verdient. Der Beilagensalat bestand nur aus Konservenwaren und Salatsoße war nicht vorhanden.

Im größten Karnevalsgefeier hält die Truppe den Überblick. Chapeau. Wer zu Paul geht, weiß, was er an Ambiente und Essen bekommt...

Dort kann man sehr gut essen gehen und es schmeckt auch sehr gut
