Restaurant Amadeus in Hamburg

Very friendly staff & delicious food. We had salads, Bruschetta and some pancakes as an afternoon snack. Everything was high quality & tastefully served.

The food here is not good at all. LASSAGNE was swimming in the sauce, no taste, plate 2- 🍄pan- 🍄🍄🍄 from the can 😒, Lassagne went back. We rated 3 dishes poorly, all three of us... The thing about us, the cook here doesn't work at all... everything else is fine...

Unfortunately, service and quality have declined.

I was looking forward to my zucchini casserole, which I ordered with a little more sauce and it was visually appealing. At first glance and the first prick of the fork, it had a lot of sauce on it. I was happy, but unfortunately the rice was missing from the casserole. According to the menu, it should contain minced sauce, rice and zucchini and is gratinated with cheese. Of course I went to the waitress and complained that the rice should be added later. Okay, then I'll add it. That's okay too. After 15 minutes the rice arrived, with a brief comment: "I'm sorry it took a little longer." The casserole was already cold because we were sitting outside. This message was not well received by the waitress. You should at least expect that you will be offered a warm-up. It was also nice that another service person came to clear away. We were asked whether we were satisfied. Despite the information that it wasn't us because ingredients were missing in both meals we ordered and the rice was served late in one meal, it wasn't addressed at all. The store wasn't full, so that wasn't even a reason. No apology, no accommodation... it was noticed and that was it. Unfortunately I won't be coming back, even though I enjoyed eating there.

We were a table of 7 people, we paid separately for our orders and there was an extra charge of 2€ per person as a tip, which was obligatory without a notice.

The staff was very friendly, the food was great and plenty. The restaurant itself was unfortunately quite loud despite not even being full.

Ordered spaghetti carbonara ..... got pasta mash with cheap cooked supermarket ham cut into pieces. The soft noodles were drowned in white, bland flour sauce. Never again ! But the whole thing in a huge portion 🫤.

Convenience food market at upscale restaurant prices... 😢 Ps. Pizzas seem decent, towards Neapolitan!

Nice service and nice ambience. The selection on the menu is huge, but in my opinion it's too much of a good thing. The food came together for all four and was hot, taste wise it was okay. What struck me a little was that a cyclist cost €5.70. Unfortunately I didn't look at the price on the menu. I have never had such an expensive bike anywhere in Germany, not even in a mountain hut in the Alps.

I knew the restaurant from before as the Big Easy... today I happened to be in this super modern, restored restaurant after a long time and I was thrilled. It tastes great and the sanitary facilities are also nice and clean.

Definitely not recommended for lasagne! No noodles in it. Just very liquid minced meat sauce with ham and some cheese.

By chance we ended up in this restaurant on a beautiful Hamburg weekend. Everything is really right here. The selection of dishes. The fresh. The ambience. The friendliness of the staff. The attention of the staff. We have definitely found a new regular restaurant when we are in Hamburg. The next reservation on August 1st is already secured again. We're looking forward to it.

On our city trip we were looking for a restaurant to eat and end the day and then we ended up here. Fortunately, it has to be said! The service was great and quick. The cocktails are a bit expensive, but super tasty. The food is top. Large portions and damn tasty.

I can't fully understand the recessions. It was OK. There is a large selection of food, but I know that a lot of it can't be fresh. Service was great at first, but then it continued to decline. When customers have finished their drinks, I have to notice - my chance to sell more drinks with a good margin. It's unclear to me why this doesn't happen. I can only explain why the good reviews come together because you get a free drink if you do the Google review and show it to the staff. Who doesn't rate it well...

Four of us ate at Amadeus and had a very tasty meal. The pizza had a very crispy dough and came straight from the stone oven. We didn't have to wait long for the food and it was also very nicely prepared. In addition, the atmosphere and ambience is very inviting and modern. The menu offers a wide selection and the selection for vegetarians is also very large and varied. We would definitely come back again and can highly recommend a visit to Amadeus.

It's very tasty here and the portions are very filling 😋.The waiters are very friendly and are always ready if you need something. I would recommend it😊

Celebrated my birthday here for the second time after 2022. There were 11 of us in total. A lot of work was done in advance to make a reservation, only to end up sitting in an almost empty restaurant. The service was good, drinks came very quickly. Food was ordered from the menu. This is WAY too big. The time until the food arrived was also quick. Unfortunately, this is where the chaos began. Since a number of gratinated pan dishes were ordered (which all looked the same), none of the service staff knew who had ordered what and how and a wild exchange began until everyone had their menu. One pan was not edible because it was completely burned. In terms of taste, it remained lower midfield. Apart from the standard (schnitzel, burgers, spaghetti, pizza) there isn't much. One guest had the banana split as dessert, which he said was good. Unfortunately it wasn't great, so the next birthday will definitely not be celebrated here. Therefore only 2 stars

Very cozy restaurant, attentive service, Jägerschnitzel with fries and salad was good, sauce was personally too thick, salad could have a better dressing. But I would go there again

We were just eating there, service wasn't good, you had to run after everything, value for money was sometimes not there. It was a try, another visit is out of the question. Stars only for the ambience!

The service is subpar, the price is outrageous! Drinks are ordered, you wait 20 minutes but nothing is served! As a guest you will be ignored there. You get the menu again and you want to order food again I noticed several times that nothing happened when paying Once and never again, Amadeus cannot be recommended in any way!,!

Dinner outside! Uruguay? Beef doesn't actually have to be...we didn't know beforehand... Shortly before the animals are slaughtered, these EU imports can be fattened. We would have preferred them to come from the region Otherwise steak plate like I've had everywhere...whether Block House or Porter House...

I have never experienced anything like it... I called them two days ago and asked if it would be possible to do an internship there and they said that I should come today at 6 p.m. Today I was there at 6 p.m. sharp and had to wait 1 hour and 55 minutes until an employee came. He then brought me a glass of water and 5 minutes later another employee came and said that I had to get up because the table was reserved and that I should come back tomorrow... I am very disappointed in how the employees treat children

The Amadeus is the successor to the Big Easy, it's nice that it is reopening with a different operator. Am curious. May 31, 2024 Had lunch there today, had a surprise plate with a small salad, chicken crunchies, baked chicken wings and mozzarella sticks and potato wedges. In my opinion the menu is too big. Friendly staff and service, food was delicious and value for money was right. At lunchtime there is every pizza for €9.90 and daily specials. Sitting inside or outside is very pleasant.

Food was cold and the second time the fish was very dry. The service was very unfriendly, I wouldn't recommend it, it's a shame

The beer coaster states I could get a free drink if I scanned QRcode and provided my feedback. Done that, but wasn't offered my drink. Everything else is great.

Yesterday we went to the Amadeus Restaurant as a larger group and overall everything was fine, but it wasn't outstanding. The service was good and kept a good eye on the drinks. The food was served after an acceptable time, depending on the group size. The taste was okay, but also average.

We sat outside and unfortunately it took a while until the service came. The food and drinks came almost at the same time. The price-performance ratio is okay and so is the food. Everything could have been a little hotter. There was too much choice on the menu for me. We weren't in the restaurant itself, but what I saw seemed very appealing and cozy. Conclusion, if you want a good, normal meal at good prices, this is the right place.

A beautiful restaurant with rustic furnishings, down-to-earth food and friendly, attentive staff. The stone oven pizza, tried for the second time, is good as expected, although the "Dracula" version is, to my dismay, lacking in garlic. The additionally ordered baked potato with mushrooms is well put together; What matters is the potatoes, but quantitatively they are significantly below what I was used to. What is also less pleasant is the prices, which have increased by almost 50% within a year. For many visitors, the point of almost unaffordability has been reached here.

Great calzone and pizza from the original stone oven with live cooking. The two of us went to this restaurant for dinner without a reservation. It was not far from the InterCityHotel and was recommended to us. We were greeted promptly and friendly, but had to wait about 5 minutes at the bar because all the tables were occupied. After other guests had left, the table was brought into shape and we were able to get straight to it. The service was very friendly and took our order promptly. They advertise monthly changing beers, which in our case would have been Staropramen. However, it was no longer in stock at the end of April. A pity. But the Grevensteiner was also tasty. Since I'm a big fan of calzones, I chose this one too and wasn't disappointed. The dough was great and the contents were great too. Not the kind of calzone that sits in the soup after you cut it. The colleague's seafood pizza was also very well received. In this restaurant the price-performance ratio is right and the service was hard-working, even if it is noticeable that many unskilled people work there. The tables are very narrow, so I had to get up so that the guest from the next table could go to the toilet. Overall, it was very loud in the store. But the bottom line is: top taste and attentive staff in a beautiful restaurant. Clear recommendation.
