A cozy, very inviting restaurant with a very nice owner and a great team. The atmosphere is very nice and you immediately feel at home. The food tastes very good, the service is friendly and attentive and the price-performance ratio is right. I live nearby and am happy to have such a nice location “around the corner”. In summer you can also sit comfortably outside. Absolutely recommended!!!

We were here because of spontaneous hunger. The food and service are worth every euro. My companion's special requests were also accepted with a smile and implemented. We enjoyed the schnitzel extremely well and can warmly recommend it. Additional information: toilets 1a

After entering the restaurant where our staff was just walking around, the first thing at the table was a reprimand about how dare we sit at the table. We were here with two children, there was no children's meal on the menu, the dog and the next table were served first and the food was served immediately without washing hands. Afterwards we preferred to leave the restaurant. I visited dozens of restaurants all over Germany, but nothing interesting other than a good restaurant concept.

Hello folks, On September 28th, 2024, a table for 9 people was reserved four weeks in advance. A birthday should be celebrated with visitors from Hanover and Hamburg. And now imagine that the small group was turned away at the entrance by the tenant because there was a closed society!! A schnitzel house was recommended?! The disappointment was huge and will remain in the conversation for a long time, which is understandable. For this reason, the restaurant cannot be recommended! 😱😡 So far, this regular guest has held all the celebrations in the fire station since it opened, so it's even more annoying that they didn't ask for the phone number when making the reservation?! Or has a customer file been created? This is part of regular customer care these days and would show professional behavior, which was not the case here. Not recommended and sorry, therefore only 1 star. We have to accept this bad behavior and impudence, we'll come back again?! The owner could have offered us the aperitif on the terrace on Saturday, not on the next visit! The fault was clearly not the guest's fault. This opportunity has been missed - and with it, more evenings with you! Family misery and friends

An inconspicuous restaurant from the outside, which at first you would think might be old-fashioned. But the dishes were really modern and lovingly prepared. A small grilled sausage on the not at all rustic looking grill plate was cut into the shape of an octopus, like in Japanese bento boxes. I've never seen that anywhere :) Also the pan fish was draped with fried arugula or seaweed -- would love to know what it was! Also something I've never eaten in European restaurants that are relatively inexpensive like the old fire station. Would love to come back!

We were there today with 7 adults and 3 small children and were thrilled! The usual children's chairs for the kids, as well as children's dishes and toys awaited us at our reserved table. It's nice that service in this restaurant starts with the littlest guests :) The food was delicious and the service was very pleasant and friendly. It's a shame we only discovered the restaurant now! :)

A family-friendly, relaxed and quiet restaurant with small outdoor seating outside the city centre. The regulars (retired firefighters?) are there for a long time. We ate Grillteller and Goulashsppa. It was all really good. Big portions! Goulash soup (one of the tastiest I've eaten) stands as a starter but is more than sufficient as a main course together with the hearty, good bread that was served with it. Shouldn't have ordered more garlic bread!

We had a delicious Viennese style schnitzel, great breading. The fried potatoes are on point, nice and crispy but not black, with diced bacon and onions! With a fresh salad, what more could you want? Price performance absolutely harmonious! Service friendly and attentive!

Arrived a bit hungry at 21.00 sharp on a Friday night but was told that kitchen had already closed. OK, that can happen so we decided to have just a beer. The waitress took our order and then went to sit down to eat herself at the bar instead of serving us. After ten minutes I realized she had forgotten about our order I reminded her about it which she confirmed she had. She was busy eating from the closed kitchen instead. We got our beers eventually. Well, service is not for everyone. We managed to get a couple of more beers before leaving. I complained to the manager when leaving but she seemed to think this was normal so do not expect more.

We were in Lübeck for two nights (what a beautiful Altstadt!) and also had dinner here twice. The food was very good and the portions were ample. Really an acceptance. As well as Lübeck.

We were there in a group. The food was delicious, the staff was nice to us, but not really flexible. Guests who arrived later and only wanted a side salad and French fries were put off and told they had to ask first. Well, it worked after all. Prices seemed relatively high to me.

Service was nice, food was extremely greasy. Unfortunately it didn't go well for me. The garlic bread with aioli was crispy, as it should be, but so extremely greasy. The fried fish was actually well fried, not dry but continued to float on the plate in its deep fryer fat. Also only lukewarm, which minimized the taste experience. But the toilets were clean and odorless. For visitors to Lübeck, this is something you learn to appreciate here.

We were traveling in Lübeck for several days with 8 people. Because of the good reviews, we chose this restaurant for dinner. But we were very disappointed here. When we came into the restaurant, a dog was running around behind the counter and in the dining room. He was petted by the staff. We were served by a young lady who seemed to be serving here for the first time. Some of the glasses were brought without a tray and were touched at the top. Several drinks from the menu were not available. There was still some leftover fruit brandy, half a glass for everyone and then charged at full price. The food was OK, except for the fried potatoes. After a short time these were cold and limp.

Went there today with five adults, a toddler and a dog. Service was really nice. Very fond of children and dogs. Toys for the child and water + snacks for the dog were there. Thanks for that. 😊 The menu is rather small, but there should actually be something for everyone. I had the pan fish in mustard sauce. Really tasty if you like mustard sauce. 👍🏻 The others were also quite satisfied. Prices are rather high but the price-performance ratio is good.

The old fire station has great employees. Very friendly, quick and helpful. The food is good. We had pork stroganof and the pan fish. Both dishes were tasty and well prepared. We recommend.

We were there with two little boys and there were toys and friendly, patient and funny staff. The order was placed quickly, the drinks arrived in no time and after 20 minutes the delicious food: steak and fried fish accompanied by fries and a delicious fresh salad. That was a successful dinner. Thanks to all the fire guards.

We had dinner at the Old Fire Station last night and I have to say I was very impressed with their ambience. We had various dishes such as the grill plate and it was all very tasty and fresh. The prices for the dishes are completely justified and deserved. I'll definitely come back.

We were there yesterday with 16 men from the Sereetz fire department. Great food, great service. I can only recommend the store. And a special highlight is that firefighters get a 10% discount. We'll definitely be back.

We had dinner at the fire station this evening. It was just mega. The food was super tasty. We had grilled plates and pan fish. Everything was super prepared and fresh. The staff and the boss are very nice and accommodating...you feel very comfortable here as a guest. Keep it up .

We hosted a kale dinner hosted by the volunteer fire department there. We felt very comfortable there. Minor problems were resolved immediately and benevolently. There is a small discount on drinks for FW stories +++

Das Essen war frisch und sehr lecker, das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber die große Kinderfreundlichkeit. Es gab sogar einen extra zusammengestellten Kinderteller. Sollten wir mal wieder in Lübeck oder Umgebung sein, kommen wir gerne wieder!

Sehr freundlich wird man empfangen in einer alten Feuerwache. Hohe Decken, helles Licht etwas zügig. Doch dafür liegen Säcke vor den Türen. Eigentlich fehlt ein Kamin. Er würde dem Ambiente und der Temperatur gut tun. Immerhin lieben Feuerwehr Begeisterte auch das Feuer. Das Essen war gut portioniert. Die Ente leider weder knusprig noch zart. Doch andere Speisen war super. Ich würde auch wieder hingehen, denn es ist auch was Besonderes, die Feuerwache. Und wohlfühlen kann man sich auch.

Angenehmer Abend mit Freunden, sechs Leute hatten jeweils unterschiedliche Gerichte und alle Essen kamen gleichzeitig an den Tisch. Ich hatte den Grünkohlteller. Alles sehr gut, perfekte Bratkartoffeln. Lediglich einzeln verpacke Senfportionen sind nicht so meins. In Sachen Nachhaltigkeit geht da noch was. Danke für den schönen Abend

Fantastiskt god mat. Grönkål och skinka och stekt korv. Väldigt likt halländsk grönkål. Jättetrevlig servitris som gärna förklarade på engelska när hon förstod att vår tyska var dålig. Mysig restaurang inrymd i den gamla brandstationen. Stark rekommendation.

Excellent food! Starters were spicy gullasch and garlic bread. Lovely gullasch! Would gladly eat that for main course. We then ordered the red fish and the "brandstifter". The meat was so tender. Everything was tasty! The staff was very friendly, even came with a bowl of water for our dog and asked her name and said hello to her. Will gladly return

War zum Abendessen da. Hatte den Rotbarsch mit Chips. Chips etwas zu trocken, lätschig und zu wenig gewürzt. Fisch o.k. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Kann man hingehen, muss man aber nicht.
